EIRA: Why are you out here? ELION: Oh, you know. It wasn’t really my scene… in more ways than one. I thought to let you all have your moment. EIRA: Moment? ELION: Mm. Very “calm before the storm”, isn’t it? You’d know better than anyone. EIRA: Hm. You’re referring to that feeling I told you about. ELION: I find a woman’s intuition undefeatable. Most especially one of your caliber. EIRA: Do you know how to do anything but flatter? It feels impossible to get a serious word out of you. ELION: Is that what you’d prefer? Someone like you? Would it make you happier if I simply commented on how terrible and drab things were all the time, talked in dour tones and brought a grim sense of cynicism to every situation? EIRA: No. ELION: By all means, you can be truly honest with me. I promise it won’t hurt my feelings. After all, you’ve already done the worst you could do by rejecting me, and I thought I did reasonably well at accepting my defeat. If it’s the compliments you don’t like, then I simply must say I’m entitled to even my most obnoxious opinions. EIRA: I never said that. ELION: Suppose I’d have fared better if I was more the silent type. I could do you a favor and bring out Mr. Tall Dark and Necromancer— EIRA: I said I’m not interested! ELION: Yes. You’ve made that perfectly clear. EIRA: You don’t get it. ELION: Apparently not. EIRA: You’re insufferable and ridiculous. And I… ELION: laughs Oh. You are fun.

May I present to you all my newest OC - Elion, the sun elf ☀️

He literally came out so perfect, almost exactly how I portrayed him in my mind 😭😭 My poor sweet baby

Due to his best friend's betrayal, he became a slave to a Vampire (who doesn't have name yet jdkdnsj Im working on it lmao)

Elion is a sun elf, meaning he needs the sun to live and function properly. After becoming Vampire's slave he doesn't get to see sun anymore, almost all his life now spent in darkness

His master uses Elion in every way - feeds on him, uses him for his pleasure and even trains him as a weapon (because who would expect little weak sun elf to be deadly?)

✧ Dorian and Ledger ✧ What was their first kiss like?

It could go a lot of ways with these two, they're both fairly bold about getting what they want until they want it really badly and then it feels like weakness or vulnerability to ask for it. If it's casual, Dorian teases until he gets it, and it's a soft temptation of a thing designed to lure Ledger in without thinking too hard about it. Probably up against a desk in the library one night, the two of them up too late to be bothered by anyone else and flirting just a little bit too easily, Dorian making some kind of excuse by reaching for something behind Ledger, on the desk or on a shelf. Dorian takes Ledger's jaw in his hand between finger and thumb and feels his pulse jump under his palm. If it's more serious, Dorian hesitates, I think. Plays harder to get, tries to get a feel for whether or not Ledger wants him badly enough to ask for him on his own. You'd have to tell me who gets frustrated and caves first, but if it's Dorian, we've seen how it goes. Complete honesty about how badly Dorian wants something real for himself, cloaked in the guise of asking for something physical, but when he takes Ledger's face between his palms, he cradles him like something precious, not something to devour. Knowing them, they're probably both soaked through like wet cats out in the wilderness somewhere and just overtired enough to be desperate and wanting for comfort, and that's the only reason Dorian cracks as quick as he does. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash? We know how they compliment: quick witted, intelligent, studious, and hungry for something better for themselves, self-reliant and confident in their own capabilities while also having drives to prove themselves. I think that self-reliance could cause them to bicker sometimes, or Dorian's privilege. I don't think Ledger's oblivious to Dorian's ability to listen and self-correct but he might at times be shocked at some of the things Dorian needs to self-correct about in the first place, stunned that he was raised in a way to have been taught to hold those opinions in the first place. Ledger may lose patience over having to point it out at all. Ledger is a bit more stubborn than Dorian too, and Dorian could get frustrated or perceive Ledger's insistence on independence as a small personal rejection; apparently no one taught Ledger that after the second refusal, you were supposed to realize that accepting help was for the benefit of the one offering it to you and not for yourself. Their sharp tongues sting sometimes, as well. It's something they admire about each other when directed at others but not when directed between themselves. Dorian takes things more personally than he lets on and Ledger is (in Dorian's words) a sulk. A sulk who holds a grudge. Who gets jealous easier? Depends on what the subject is. Dorian got all of the opportunities Ledger wanted but couldn't have for himself; depending on how they speak to each other I could see that being something Ledger might sort of internalize, though whether or not he takes that out on Dorian isn't something I could say. I just know they would both be sort of aware of it. Ledger's stubborn but if he takes the olive branch when Dorian offers it to him and provides him opportunities he never got before (say, in Tevinter, post-Corypheus) that could work out in both of their favor. Romantically? Really not sure. Dorian doesn't begrudge flirting or even sex, but I think he's desperately afraid of being alone and if Ledger is doing those things with someone he gets along with *very well* and spends a lot of time together with, that might cause some problems. Dorian is easy-going provided he's secure in being the first choice; the first person Ledger brings news to, or chooses to go to bed with, or opts to spend his time with, that sort of thing. Envy starts to creep in when it's evident that he perhaps isn't. You'd have to tell me if Ledger gets jealous quicker than that.

✧ Sahil and Ledger ✧ What was their first kiss like?

A bit rough and contentious, I would assume. Sahil has a way of flirting and irritating in equal measure, but would never be the first to kiss another unless explicitly goaded to; he finds enough amusement from the act of flirting and irritating that he doesn't feel the need to escalate, but makes it clear that escalation would not be rejected. Sort of a consequence of being more liberal with his physical affections than some; he's used to extending the offer and not having it extended back more times than not, because he's extending the offer so often, if that makes sense.

Anyway.

Probably most likely this would happen on the off chance Sahil ingratiates himself enough to get Ledger to teach him how to use a knife properly. Sahil's surprisingly adept at grappling, and might find it more amusing to cheat to win rather than to actually learn, which I assume Ledger finds grating as all hell. One of them or the other ends up on their back. If there's a knife to Sahil's throat in the process that might be enough to get him to fist his hand in the front of Ledger's shirt and make his wants more pressingly known, though.

How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash? They're both used to being talked down to and underestimated; they can find common ground there. They're also both fairly level-headed and fiercely loyal, and Sahil shows Ledger an immense amount of respect when he's not trying to make him mad for fun. I think they both have a good sense of when matters are serious and are relentless when it comes to doing what they can in those situations, which could be surprising to Ledger; while Ledger seeks out responsibility and Sahil tends to avoid it, both responses come from a place of taking their responsiblities utterly seriously. If they're given the chance to work together in a capacity that utilizes them both properly, I think they could come to rely on each other pretty solidly to do what needs to be done. It's also where they clash. Ledger could easily see Sahil as flippant and incapable of taking things seriously, because Sahil won't commit to a task unless he's absolutely confident he can complete it skillfully. Sahil had a leadership position in his clan handed to him by his family and he outright ran away from it; that might grate on Ledger a little, who worked tooth and nail for everything he earned. Who gets jealous easier?

Almost certainly Ledger. This isn't so much a commentary on how jealous of a person Ledger may or may not be as it is a commentary on how devastatingly difficult it is to get Sahil to express any kind of possessiveness over anything. There is a chance it could spark in him when seeing another receive treatment he wants but isn't getting, but he's just as likely to move his attention elsewhere in response to it as to feel any pang of envy.

Mera Elion ☆ She/Her

name | Mera Elion age | 41 pronouns | she/her (trans woman)

personality | over-confident, empathetic, controlling, calm, discreet

appearance | A fairly even mix of both pictures, with the darker skin of the left and more influence from the features on the right. Her hair isn't quite captured by either, in terms of colour. The length is more similar to the right, while the colour is a combination of the two. Her hair is often described as having a fire-like aura around it. The picture on the right, Janet Mock, serves as Mera's inspiration.

☆ DESCRIPTION

How do you work in a system you hate? How do you help those who are trapped within its clutches? How do you make sure you keep your job at the same time? Mera Elion knows she knows best when it comes to the youth of Veda City. A counsellor for MERCY, Mera sees so many of those under twenty-five who are brought into the city, whether willingly or not. Over her years as a counsellor she's become adept at her job and at spotting problems that only she can fix. She feels for each of the people she meets, each person she counsels and helps adapt into Veda's culture. She remembers every person she's ever worked with. Its important to her - to know, to remember. Mera's always been good at keeping secrets and staying in command of her emotions, and her work has sharpened those skills to a razor's edge. Mera keeps plenty of secrets of her own and her metahuman power is one of her more closely guarded secrets. Though why that is, she isn't telling. If you need an ear, or someone to take charge, Mera's your woman. But when you're so used to taking charge and hearing your own voice, you often forget to listen to what others are saying. Mera wouldn't say she ignores people just... that she often knows better than they do, and it's her job to fix their problems, isn't it? And when she meets Nat, it's only natural to try and help the same way, right? Only natural to do what she can. Even if Mera, in helping Nat, is running away from something else entirely. It's fine.

A noble boy sent to Camelot to be one of Arthur's companions, would much rather be reading or writing than out fighting or going on adventures with the knights

Because of this, he is often sitting on the sidelines with a book while Arthur trains, which is where he comes to befriend (and eventually court) Arthur's cousin, the Princess Solasta

Prefers Merlin and Gwaine to the rest of Arthur's entourage, and is very close with Arthur himself

(Random Ask) What was Elion like in his childhood to teenage years? Did he make friends with the rowdy crowds or kept to himself?

Hmmm backstory I haven't yet processed so I'll try my best!

Elion would tend to hang around the adults mostly, his special interests being that which the children of the Brumes were just not interested in (maths, calculations and estimations, everything became mathematically interesting), but the adults? They could talk about it.

During his teenage years is where he started training as a lancer, he put the maths into his training down to a science. He would finally hang out with others his own age, mostly those who were very impressed on his skills and how he perfected them. Training partners, mostly!

Overall, he would be the lone wolf, but not by direct choice, it just worked out that way!
