Born in the Feywild during an unnaturally long and cold magical winter, she has been a sickly child who barely survived through the first years of her life. Her family eventually discovered that what made her so sick was the Feywild itself, and had to move her to the Material Plane.
Even now, more than two centuries later, Iphigenia does not like the Feywild very much, preferring the steady flow of time and calm natural order of the Material Plane, where she watches over her own druid grove. She is a very chill and relaxed person, even though most people she meets would describe her as "weird" and "what the hell is she even saying" and "oh gods please get this giant woman away from me". Even then, she remains unbothered, moisturized, happy, in her lane, focused, flourishing.
So, during the holidays I decided to draw short animations. Then it escalated. Then more. And now I actually made an animatic for our Feywild DnD game smh?
The mission's catching swans. During a ball. Also some serious political intrigue, believe it or not. And romance. And mb some horror.
Barrick, my kindhearted bugbear paladin. He is also a beekeper and his smites are the stings of the mighty celestial BEES.
I played him in one of the amazing Feywild mini campaigns ran by @tenderlyangstyfox where our party was sent 30 years back into the past, where we met the resistance fighting against a villain who already won in our present time. In the end, when the party found a way out of the Feywild and back to the future, Barrick decided to stay behind and help the resistance, promptly breaking everyone's hearts. Maybe one day, he and his friends will meet again! He might have spent thirty years fighting an unwinnable war, but he still remains true to his oath to preserve the light, kindness and beauty of this world, and never lost hope.
My grave cleric, Nemeris Alvare. Raised among the humans, he knows about the inevitability of death all too well. Now, he serves Jergal, writing down the names of the dead - and with his long life ahead of him, he will have many, many more names to record.
Akiva, my trash boy tiefling of rakshasa lineage (that's how you get catboys in d&d)
His numerous skills include martial arts, tiger's hunting instincts (allegedly), bleeding to death on a pavement about 3 times a day, drawing pictures of naked women and having a gun
Posting with the permission of @tenderlyangstyfox ! So there was one time when the gang may have... tried... to use love potion to get their friend this cute, depressed elf with a horrible and traumatic past (and present). Let’s just say, love potions are evil, but the girls were sure they were doing something good! Us as players though? We were horrified.
Meet Yanta, my reborn rogue -2 constitution babygirl.
She’s an accidentally created soul chimera, a very dead girl, and a 100% cinammon roll. Used to be a lost creature trying to find a place where she belongs. Went to the Feywild, made some friends and got some clues about her past. Currently living in Baldur’s Gate where she has found a family member who would accept her.
The cast our our second Feywild mini campaign! The characters were transported back to the past not only to witness a war breaking out with a hot, but very evil villain doing whatever he likes. but also to find out the past of a depressed PC who was much more cheerful a few years back before, you know, gruesome death of his parents and being enslaved by said villain (happens to the best of us!)
Inktober day 4: knot
A scene from our Feywild mini-campaign, where my cowardly halfling barbarian was worried about our resident creepy little girl artificer constantly disappearing and now has to carry her around like a baloon
Filfendor, eladrin lord NPC from a Feywild campaign run by @tenderlyangstyfox
Our party had to do his bidding and he was a major pain in the ass to work for, but at least the reward was nice? Still, the biggest treasure was friends we made along the way. Can't wait to meet him again! (and maybe punch him in the face once or twice)
