current Robot Mansion (title pending) plotline:

The world is a dystopia. After a huge fallout 10 years ago, the world is in shambles, there’s no huge cities anymore. However, instead of being a wasteland, it’s all just overgrown and lush. However a lot of the plants and animals have mutated to be more dangerous

For this reason, none of the robots allow Nellie to go outside. There’s not even any windows, they were plastered up ages ago.

how is this mansion still standing, though? Well, Nellie’s mother was fabled to have access to magic as well as being an inventor, she did make sentient robots after all, and left Nellie with the robots while she went to find civilizations and help salvage some magic in order to help society rebuild

Nellie knows.. next to none of this. The robots don’t tell her much.

however, Nellie is rebellious and stubborn, and has a huge love for exploration like her mom. So of course she’s gonna try to break out of the mansion

ok I know it’s very all-over-the-place, but considering I’m generally bad at even coming up with a good plot line like this, it’s a start

This comic was inspired by the excellent idea of using The Last Unicorn dialogue for Astarion’s story from @fangsandfeels and the lovely comic made by @solmesia depicting it. You can see the original post here and the comic here.

When I read the original idea I thought that this also potentially works in reverse for a redemption Dark Urge who is horrified by their monstrousness. I did edit and add to the original dialogue for my own purposes.

(Also I really think it would have been cool if slayer form worked more like an uncontrollable werewolf-like curse rather than a gift you have to seek out.)

i've been listening to a lot of my old musical theatre faves and thinking about my d&d character alexa in relation to them. as a bard she's kind of a theatre kid herself, and i like considering what roles suit her if she were to play them / what songs fit her in-canon arc

much as i like to imagine her singing popular to theefsa (her green and uncharismatic friend who gets a makeover), glinda is a little too earnest and unselfconscious in a way alexa could never hope to be. in a way she's the perfect halfway point between alexa and feifei (another one of my d&d ocs)

she would be cast as sally bowles, and play the hell out of that role. however, in-canon alexa can't look away from injustices forever, no matter how badly she wants to pretend otherwise.

heather c. is another obvious typecast, though heather's personality is just a little too agressive compared to canon alexa who is more subtle in her sharpness

100% she would play satine, who was a big inspiration for her vibe

another huge inspiration for her and a perfect match for her personality (both the sass and the tragedy) is katherine howard from six

roxie from chicago is not a perfect fit personality wise, alexa is too self-serious for some of her antics, but i do have roxie on her playlist

everyone talks about “that’s what love does” and “never do that again” in leviathan-those moments are great- but i love the little details too, like shepard and garrus grabbing each other’s hands when the shuttle gets rocked by a harvester

it’s the casual expression of love and concern that says so much 🤌🤌
