My dcla relatives ocs and headcanons about who's related to who

Cause I don't just have next gen ocs, I also have some ocs for relatives they have. Many of them do not have names yet, but I may have some ideas of who they are. Also, this will also not only have ocs, but also other characters that I think might be related to them.

Camila has four younger sisters: Eva and Ada (they are not ocs but you know, they are def her sisters, born 1998), Lola (Born 2001) and Lili (born 2009)

Since Ámbar is adopted, her biological family very unknown, and I'd like to believe she has a younger sister somewhere from her biological dad's side... I have not decided if this sister is gonna be Isadora from Netflix's Elite, or a brand new oc lol. I also have this idea that her biological dad has slept with a lot of women and thus have these fatherless children all around the world. Let's be glad Ámbar has mommy issues and not daddy issues and never craved to know who her dad was, or else she'd open a whole can there. It would be very interesting for this girl to do a dna test someday.

Angie is second cousins with Caterina from Entrelazados. Caterina's grandmother has two siblings, one of the siblings are the grandparent of Maria and Angie, and the other is the grandparent of Sharon and Lili. Which, yes, means Violetta and Luna are distantly related. Although, Angie is only aware of Caterina as their families were slightly closer. Thank you Entrelazados for having like every dcla actor in one show so I can make all of this up!!

Continuing with the dcla and d+la connections... Luna is distantly related to Lupe (and thus also Pipe) from Siempre fui yo. Maybe second or third cousin, but they do share a great grandparent down the line.

Simón is first cousins with Morgan from Papás por encargo, and Leon is first cousins with Miguel from the same show :)

Gregorio and Rey are twins. Their uncle is Franco from Entrelazados.

Federico and Matteo are half siblings. They have the same dad, who left Fede's mom. He has never told Matteo about his previous relationship. One day the half brothers are gonna reunite.

Juliana is sisters with Alice from Bia.

Simón also has one older sister (born 1995), one younger brother (born 2001) and two younger sisters (born 2006) and I don't have any names for them yet. But they are there.

Ramiro has two older half siblings, a brother (born 1996) and a sister (born 1997). He also has a younger half brother on his dad's side (born 2002) and a half sister on his mother's side (born 2005). Also, he has a stepsister (born 2001) and a stepbrother (born 2007). So yeah, he has a giant family.

Jim has an older sister named Julia (born 1998), and Aillén from Bia is her younger cousin.

Jazmin has a younger sister (born 2008) that she wants to mentor in fashion and makeup to, but her sister isn't too interested.

Yam has two younger brothers: Manny (born 2004) and David (born 2007). She also has a cousin (born 1999) that she looks up to a lot, though I have not gotten a name for her just yet.

Delfi has a younger brother (born 2004) and she finds him really annoying, but she loves him too.

Maxi has a younger brother (born 1997), which he mentioned having in the pilot.

Adelaide: Welcome to the City of Progress

This is the first chapter of my Arcane OC fic! We start our journey with Adelaide about 5 years prior to Act 1 of Arcane. I might go back and rename this fic at a later date, but for now I’m just using her name. I actually wrote most of this a couple of months ago so sorry if there are any like inconsistencies or anything like that. I’m working on chapter 2 right now, but it’ll be a couple of chapters until Ada even meets Viktor or Jayce. I can’t wait to get to that part though.

Adelaide stood silent but eager outside of the sitting room in her family’s small mansion, her ear pressed hard against the door as she listened in.

“I just don’t think it’s worth risking her safety.” Her mothers voice was stern, clearly not willing to budge on the matter.

“Your mother is right. If your sister wishes to attend a college, the one right here in Avaleer has plenty to offer. There’s no need to send her off to the city.” Her fathers words left a pit of worry deep in her stomach.

“I understand your concerns, but graduating from the academy myself, I can assure you that it is the safest place in Piltover. It’s academics are far beyond anything our own university could provide. Surely you can agree that if Adelaide were to pursue higher education that it should be from one of the best schools in Runeterra.” Her brother, Lance, spoke on her behalf.

He himself was a recent graduate from Piltovers business program at their prestigious academy. He had regaled the entire family with many stories when he had first returned home. Stories that Adelaide couldn’t stop thinking about.

His tales held a sense of freedom, something Adelaide felt that she had very little of in her 18 years of life. She had spent most of her life inside of the small mining town of Avaleer, a town owned by her family. Always treated like a precious stone, hidden away inside her families mansion but paraded around at any parties or galas that were held by the top families of Runeterra. Most would consider her very lucky, coming from a family of wealth she never knew of any hardships of life. But it was isolating.

Adelaide had confided in her older brother about her desire to leave home, to study as he did in Piltover, to live a life of more than just a sheltered flower. Thankfully he understood her desire and agreed to help convince her parents to let her go, but it was going to be a tough sell.

Adelaide heard the room fall silent. She could only assume that it meant her parents were thinking. She wished that her heart wasn’t beating so loudly because she was sure her parents could hear it through the door. Finally her father spoke.

“If she were to attend the academy, and I am not saying I agree, then she-“

“What are you doing?” A judgmental voice rang out from behind Adelaide. She jumped backwards from the sudden noise, but when she turned to see her twin sister behind her she let out a huffed sigh.

“Oh Morgan, it’s just you.”

“You didn’t answer my question.” Adelaide ignored her sister and pressed her ear back to the door. “Are you trying to listen in on mom and dad’s conversation with Lance?”

“Yes. Now shhhhh” she angrily whispered to her sister.

“Why?”

Adelaide groaned at her sisters persistence. “Because-“ she gasped at the sound of footsteps on the other side of the door. Adelaide ran down the hall and up the stairs, back towards her room on the second floor of the mansion, leaving her sister to stand bewildered in the hallway.

Her father opened the door, mid-conversation with his son. “You can go and tell her of our decision.” He looked down at Morgan on the other side of the door.

“Ada was spying.” She responded to her fathers look before strolling away.

Her father sighed and looked back at Lance. “Though it seems she may already know.”

Adelaide paced her large bedroom and twirled her brown hair around her fingers as a way to work out her nerves. She eagerly awaited someone to come and talk to her. With luck it would be her brother and not her father to break any news, good or bad.

A light knock came from her door and startled Adelaide from her pacing. She quickly ran to the door, took a moment to put on a facade of confidence and poise, and opened the door. A wave of relief washed over her. Lance stood on the other side. Adelaide stepped back and ushered her brother inside. “Well?” She asked, her eyes pleading with his and she held her breath.

“They have agreed to let you go to the Academy.” A wide grin spread across Adelaide’s face. “But…”

Her grin quickly fell. “But?”

“But you have to study something the academy is known for. A science, business, or something to do with technology.”

She should have known there would be a catch. Her parents never let her just have something, there was always some sort of ultimatum. “Oh.” Was the only word that would come out of her throat.

“It seems that father doesn’t want to pay for the academy unless you “get a worthwhile degree from it”. His words not mine. Sorry Ada, I know you had your heart set on studying fine art.”

Adelaide sighed. She was disappointed she couldn’t study exactly what she wanted, but her parents were still willing to let her go. At least there was a silver lining. “It’s not your fault.”

“So would you still like to go?”

Adelaide nodded her head. “Yes. I think I do. There’s got to be some course of study that I would enjoy.”

Lance patted his sister on the shoulder. “Great! I’ll get you a catalogue of the majors at the academy so you can decide what to study. Shall I let mother and father know of your decision?”

Adelaide looked up at her older brother. “Yes please.” Lance nodded back to her before leaving, closing the door behind him.

Adelaide shuffled over to her bed and flopped down onto it, letting out an exasperated sigh. “I guess all that’s left to do is choose a major…” she mumbled to herself. Rolling onto her side, she let her thoughts wander. “Is it selfish of me to go to Piltover to study something I don’t have a passion for, just to get away from here?” That particular question haunted her mind. Surely there were many students that longed to study in Piltover. What if she would be taking a spot from them? The academy was the only chance she would get to see how the world worked away from her controlling parents. But was that enough of a reason? The more she thought about it the less sure of her decision she became. Ada groaned, unsure of how much time had passed since she began her internal debate.

Before she knew it her brother had returned with the promised catalogue of majors. Adelaide met him at her door and thanked him, promising to make a decision by the morning. She left him at the door and brought the catalogue to her desk and began to flip through it.

The catalogue was thicker then she expected it would be. Who knew there were so many majors to choose from? It was organized alphabetically. So, Ada cracked open the large book and started with the A’s. She didn’t find anything that would meet her parents prerequisites until she hit the B’s. “Botany?” Ada muttered. “I do like plants, so maybe that’s worthwhile…” Taking out a piece of scrap paper from her desk, Ada started a list of potential majors. Her eyes continued to wander through the B’s. “Maybe I could major in business like Lance. Hmmm… I’m not really interested in that though.” Despite what she mumbled to herself she still wrote it down as a possibility. C’s, D’s, and E’s passed with nothing interesting. When she hit the F’s she stopped. Her eyes hitting what she truly wanted to study, Fine Art. Ada let her fingers ghost over the words. She closed her eyes and let out a heavy sigh. “Why don’t they want me to do what I love?” She whispered with sorrow.

Her room was covered with canvases and papers, all of drawings and paintings that she had done. Her parents knew of her passion, “You’re lucky to even be given this chance.” She reminded herself and hardened her heart to continue on.

The G’s were next. She found geology moderately interesting. Studying rocks and crystals could be fun. And given her families mining business, it could be helpful… she wrote it down on the list. With the H’s she came across history. “Does that count as something they’d let me study?” She mumbled and tapped her pencil on the desk. Suddenly an idea struck her. “Wait…” she flipped back to the A’s. She leaned closer to the catalogue. “Art History! If I can’t study fine arts, then maybe I could just study its history. I’ll have to make a good case for it, but not all hope is lost!” She wrote it down, giddy at the thought of still studying art in some way.

Ada almost closed the catalogue right then and there, but she knew she should be thorough, if nothing than as a precaution. It would be better to have more options to give to her parents than to be stuck in Avaleer because they didn’t approve of anything. The rest of the alphabet came and went, there were only a few more options she found herself interested in. She looked at the small list she had and began the task of narrowing it down to her top three choices. It was quite late by the time she was finished.

With a yawn Adelaide pushed away from her desk and headed to bed. She would present her choice to her parents after breakfast in the morning. The task was daunting and she was terrified of what her parents would say. Sleep didn’t find her easily, but eventually she gave in to her exhaustion.

Mr. and Mrs.Avaleer sat pin straight on the elegant lounge in the sitting room. Their judgmental eyes laid on their daughter who sat on the identical couch across from them. Ada stared at her feet to avoid her parents gaze. She tightly clutched the paper with her choices of study.

The doors to the sitting room opened and closed once more as her siblings entered the room. They sat on either side of her, the close proximity making Ada’s anxiety rise. In the silence that followed a tension arose in the air.

“Adelaide,” her father finally spoke, “you wanted to share with us your choices of study?”

“Yes!” The word squeaked from Adelaide’s throat and she stood. Her hands shook as she unfolded her piece of paper. “After looking over the majors offered at the academy, I have decided that I’d like to study history. Specifically Art History.” She could feel her entire body shake with her nerves.

Her parents both scowled. They passed a quick glance to Lance on Ada’s left before returning to her. Mr.Avaleer sighed. “Did your brother not tell you? If you wish to study in Piltover you must study business or a science. Something the school is known for.”

“He did, but I just thought that history-“

“Is history a science?” Her father asked. A small chuckle came from Morgan, mocking her sister.

Ada tried to ignore it and continue. “No, not exactly. But-“

“Then it is not what we agreed on.” Ada’s father stood and she felt her heart drop to her stomach. “If that’s your choice than you will not be attending Piltover Academy come fall.” Her mother stood as well, the both of them preparing to leave the room.

Ada frantically looked at them and back down to her paper, willing herself to not cry. “Botany!” She shouted. Her parents looked at her with confusion. “That was my other choice.”

Mr. and Mrs.Avaleer looked at each other. “Studying plants? It would be one of the more ladylike sciences.” Her mother commented.

Her father scratched his bearded chin in thought. “Would it be a worthwhile investment though?” He asked his wife.

“Perhaps.” Her mother pondered.

Lance cleared his throat and stood to meet his fathers gaze. “Botany is well within the parameters you set up. To deny her would be going back on your word, father.”

“My boy, I said if she were to go, I did not make a solid promise. But if you are so eager to support your sister then fine, she can attend. However, you will accompany her on her first day and we expect high marks. Any sign that you are shirking your studies and we will bring you home.”

Ada was stunned momentarily. Her father actually agreed. She nodded. “Yes, yes of course! Thank you!” She waited for her parents to leave the room before eagerly running out herself. Fall wasn’t that far off and Ada had a lot to prepare.

Finally the day came. It was time to board the train to Piltover and begin life as a student, away from her family. Avaleer wasn’t that far from Piltover, but it’s location near the mountains made a train ride much preferred to a long carriage ride.

Adelaide and Lance sat across from each other in the train cabin. Ada stared out the window and let her thoughts wander. It had been quite some time since she even left Avaleer. Her family used to attend Progress Day every year, but she hadn’t been to one in awhile. There were also trips to meet clients that were buying the steel that her family manufactured. She hadn’t been on those trips since she was a child. How much has the city changed? She wondered.

“Ada.” Her brother drew her back from her thoughts.

“Hm?” She hummed and looked at her brother.

“I know that I made Piltover out to be a shining beacon of freedom and prosperity, but you should still take precautions while you are there.”

Ada gave him a quizzical look. “I know that. It’s not like I haven’t been to the city before.”

“Yes, but it’s been awhile. And you’ll be alone this time. It’s not the same as those trips when we were kids. Tensions have been on the rise recently with the Undercity. You need to be careful. Promise me you won’t leave the academy district.”

Ada had wanted to explore the city, but she’d be lying if she didn’t admit she was nervous to be on her own. “I promise I’ll stay in the academy district.”

She hadn’t realized how much tension Lance had been holding in his shoulders until she saw them fall. His whole body relaxed. It made her feel a bit guilty. The only reason she was able to go to Piltover was because he helped her. And now the whole prospect of her being in the city was stressing him out.

“Thank you Lance.” Ada said.

“What for?” A soft smile graced his lips while his eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

“Everything. Sticking up for me, bringing me to Piltover, just all of it.”

Lance laughed. “You’re my little sister. It’s my job to stick up for you.” He glanced out the window to see the city in the distance. It wouldn’t be long now before they arrived. “Besides, I know you wouldn’t have been happy at home.”

Ada looked out the window. This sight of the city left butterflies in her stomach. Her future at the academy was an exciting prospect that she couldn’t wait to enjoy!

Finally the train approached the station in Piltover. Lance helped her with her large suitcase and the two of them exited the train. Once off the platform, Ada noticed a large balcony on the side of the station. She ran towards it and immediately leaned onto the railing, her jaw dropping at the view. The city was laid out before her. The golden accents on every building shone with the light of the late morning sun overhead. “Wow.” She whispered.

Lance wasn’t too far behind her. He set down Ada’s suitcase and looked out into the city. A large grin crossed his face, “Well Adelaide, welcome to the city of progress!”

graeme "gray" cathcart - new neighbor. flirt, friendly, charming to a fault. kind of an idiot but street smart and wiser in terms of seeing other people's characters and intentions. can see ghosts.

st. john - always in the same bus and at the same diner, moonlights as a hitman. noncommittal, lazy, sharp, cryptic, calculating, easygoing but keeps people at a distance. not bound by the rules of society. has probably lived centuries (? we dont know.) maybe a crow (? we also don't know.)

elias al-safadi - childhood friend. giving ex vibes, though the relationship was never consummated. similarly doomed and knows/relishes in it. caustic, sarcastic, and confrontational. blunt and pragmatic. betrayed and killed by birdie. seemingly resurrected now for revenge reasons. technically also an aswang.

new oc dropped for a Helimire au i made and babbled about on twitter. im gonna sketch her up in a bit but her name is Ada, she's Elijah's daughter and a princess in this. She has a pet raven who was given to her by 'The Raven Prince' aka Christopher who's kinda cursed to live in the woods outside of Helimire to protect the city. I came up with her two hours ago and I'm deeply obsessed with her already. copy pasting twitter rambles under the cut. i wanna do nothing but talk abt it rn

Laying in bed thinking about an au for my oc Christopher… that’s only slightly shifted from his canon. The Raven Prince who’s a fairy tale/myth people tell children of an immortal man who watches over the city. But it’s far from a myth, it’s just fallen to be that- since he’s been around that long. There’s a manor and a temple in the mountains outside the city-state, no one can find it unless he allows it. He lets two people in because they were in need of shelter (the king & his daughter: Elijah and Ada)

Would be a slow burn of an immortal man denying the adoration and love of the king despite returned feelings, Christopher let’s one of his ravens go with Ada bc they’ve bonded, and Christopher misses them both every day and vice versa.

Christopher said no because of his status and immortality, Elijah only ever thinks of him over a 10yr period. Christopher’s twin Morgan has been mortal for some time, is dating Elijah’s guard captain Mae, and boy do things get interesting when they meet

All Christopher wants is mortality finally after so long, he’s tired, he wants a family so deeply. He won’t let himself have it until he /maybe/ becomes mortal. But Elijah makes that so much harder.
