The whole Kurosaki family reaction to the HitsuKarin relationship and kids? Well Isshin, for starters, was jumping with joy. He has his son figure finally officially being in his family. That and he knew he could trust Toshiro to protect and care about Karin after her asshole boyfriend. He also loves spoiling the HitsuKarin kids, he's a grandpa. Yuzu had called it ever since she first saw Toshiro and Karin together back when he stayed over for the night during one winter. She loves her nephews and nieces. So she was happy that Karin is happy.

When Karin was pregnant with Ryunosuke, Isshin and Yuzu were surprised but after learning what had happened, they supported Karin and help when he was born.

When Ichigo finally finds out that Toshiro is his brother in-law and that he married Karin, he was angry and tried to yell at Toshiro until Yuzu, Karin and Rukia stopped him. However, an argument did play out between Toshiro and Ichigo. Karin had to step in and yell at him that him being gone for nearly 20 years was his fault for not being in the loop. He was gone for many years as he is now the lieutenant of the 13th division as he didn't want to be a captain. Ichigo hadn't seen his family in years because of his Shinigami duties and being a father.

For the Bleach Next Generations, I plan to rewrite the series. I am not happy with it and I want to make something new and better while keeping the characters.

Karin found out Toshiro could cook when she too ill to get out of bed after having Ryunosuke. Toshiro was the only one at the Kurosaki house at the time, he decided to go and make something that will be filling, easy to swallow and light.

Activities? Well there was a variety. Playing football was definitely a family favourite activity to do on an autumn afternoon. Ryunosuke also be a part of Tatsuki's Karate Dojo thing. So Toshiro would play fight with Ryunosuke. Karin and Ryunosuke would like to draw together.

At first, Karin was afraid and nervous but she wanted to experience the life of a mother when she could, so when she was pregnant with Ryunosuke, she decided to keep him and raise him with love, the opposite on how he was conceived.

Hello Anon. I am doing fine. Thank you for reading Chapter 5 and commenting. I got the idea from reading the fanfiction story that inspired Ice Changes the Story which is called Change One Side, Change the Story on Fanfiction.net. I cannot remember the exact way I thought of the 10th Division being the Torture and Interogation Division but once I thought of it, it never left. Others division, I haven't thought of that, so far. Seeing as the main story revolves around Toshiro and his journey, I have yet thought of the oher divisions as of yet. The readers will see more interactions between Toshiro, Sojun and Yusuke in the next two chapters. Toshiro's interaction with Hyorinmaru changes after some time that will be shown in the next few couple chapters. How Toshiro will deal with Aizen? You'll just have to wait and see.

Will there be a story to explain? I was wondering will you write a story about how Toshiro find out that Karin is pregnant and had Ryunosuke? And Karin's feeling about seeing Toshiro and Ryunosuke getting along? Also how did you make your schedule to update Ice Changes The Story?

Happy Halloween!! I am feeling much better from my cold now, I'm pretty much recovered.

Thank you. I wanted to do a crossover with one of the Big Three and I don't know One Piece at all so I went with Naruto. What happened to Toshiro on day 8 is an idea I am working with for way into the future chapters of Ice Changes the Story. I just need the motivation to continue the story but I'm stuck on a certain part.

I will probably work on my HitsuKarin family dynamic book at some point. My mind is WILD at the moment. I have Fairy Tail, Bleach, Naruto, Obey Me and Assassination Classroom running around my head recently.

My schedule for Ice Changes the Story? I really don't have one, I probably should. I update whenever I finish a chapter, it can take a while. Motivation is not my best friend.

Here’s the last two pages about Gakushuu! I don’t know, I might do some other pages some day (like his dad) but now I need a break…This is tough work with my skills. ^^;; (would be easier if I hadn’t let myself forget every second kanji or so that I’ve learned) (…actually I’d be happy if I really remembered every second kanji >_>)

Because they are father and son, it’s natural that they resemble each other…!? Researching their similarities

In addition to exceptional intelligence, there are various aspects where Gakushuu-kun and chairman Asano resemble each other. Sparks spreading – confrontation with father

To an outsider’s eye, their parent-child relationship is good, and Gakushuu-kun and the chairman have an ideal family. Their life seems outstanding compared to others, but even being father and son makes no exception to their extraordinary ambitions. [the last two sentences were one big sentence and it slayed me. just fyi. the latter half probably means something like that. or then not.] To show which of them is above the other, at every opportunity there is a collision, and sparks are scattered.

The chairman does not try to hide his antagonism toward his own child and keeps on repeating his provocative attitude. While it is difficult for an ordinary person to understand, this might also be the chairman’s style of education.

Lively lust for power and hostility toward the E class

Gakushuu-kun has been taught to rule everything as a true strong person. Lenient to the weak who are obedient, he absolutely will not pardon those who strike back. At this moment, his target are all the people of the E class, whose efforts have recently been striking.

Continuing my official character book translations! (Or translation attempts, anyway. Keep in mind that I'm doing this to practice Japanese and there might be mistakes. Also, some sentences are kinda clunky, sorry about that...) Anyways, moving on to our least favorite Asano! <3

I want to cultivate an outstanding next generation that will be the foundation of a better world

Chairman Asano’s talents blossomed already at a young age, and he studied in a top university abroad. The dream of the chairman, who chose education over the promised future, is that the difference in the graduates will make them leaders who show the way, contributing to the realization of a better world. To that end, the chairman dedicates all his financial funds and as much passion as possible to education, and it can be said that he is the ideal form of what an educator should be.

As the board chairman of the school, he of course handles the school management, investigating thoroughly the curriculum. I looked into one day with the chairman who is extremely busy. I'm amazed at the murderous schedule…!

During the time of rest the chairman follows the students with a surveillance camera.

Re: Gakushuu’s mom: according to the Graduation Album, she is a housewife (or was? though I think it would specify if she was dead. It’s not very clear, though, it literally just says “mother: housewife”.) I’m just wondering here that if she’s around, why isn’t she having breakfast with her family? The schedule specifies that Gakuhou eats breakfast with Gakushuu, but there's no mention of her. Especially if she is a housewife, she might even be the one preparing it. I have three theories: 1) she’s not around for whatever reason, 2) she’s a sleepyhead, 3) she can’t stand her husband anymore and doesn’t eat with him. Who knows?

[seriously though, wtf is that name?! I wonder if it’s some kind of a parody of Mainichi Shinbun (everyday/daily newspaper). There’s even some similarity in the kanji, the same bottom radical: poison is 毒, every is毎. Side note: Araki’s working for it after graduation.]

How Kunugigaoka was founded

[interviewer:] Why did you found this educational establishment?

[Asano:] When a famous mountain climber was asked why he climbed a mountain, he answered: “Because there was a mountain.” I’m learning from that and answer as well, “Because there were students.” Unlimited potential is hidden in all students. I can’t ignore that potential. That’s all, I just want to educate the students better.

The main thing the chairman wants to tell the students

[interviewer:] It is not reasonable/logical, it is an impulse. [still talking about the previous question, I guess]

[Asano:] That may be the way it is. Still, this isn’t just me, I guess all educators might think more or less like this.

[interviewer:] What do you want to teach the students through education?

[Asano:] People might look the same, but they all have different personalities. (There is a) relation where everyone develops their strengths and makes up for their weaknesses. A society is formed by the gathering of individuals. Improving the level of each individual will lead to the improvement of the entire world.

The demon king of the school who rules everything

The chairman is not avoiding victims in order to achieve his high ideals. This easily leads to self-righteousness. In the school colored by fear, not a single person can go against the chairman.

Just a small piece of translation this time!

There’s a section for the “Special Department” in the character book. It has a couple of pages about Karasuma too, but it doesn’t seem to add anything new to what I’ve translated before & what’s common knowledge. So I decided to do only the page that’s about Karasuma’s 3 underlings.

They’re all birds, you know. Karasuma too, karasu = crow. Incidentally, speaking of Karasuma, I like the way his name sounds like “crow demon”. (It’s not written like that, though.)

Tsuruta Hirokazu 鶴田 博和 (30 y.o.) (鶴,tsuru = crane)

In charge of: the actual implementation

Leader of the support group, next in line to Karasuma. He’s in charge of everything except negotiations and administrative systems.

He’s been blessed with great physique and has both power and agility.

Ukai Ken'ichi 鵜飼 健一 (26 y.o.) (鵜,u = cormorant)

In charge of: designing plans (for construction etc.)

An intellectual with the qualifications of a registered architect with a first-class license. When new facilities are constructed, he supervises everything beginning from the procurement.

He’s also active in the front line, for example accompanying into the extreme cold of Mt Everest.

Sonokawa Suzume 園川 雀 (25 y.o.) (雀,suzume = sparrow)

In charge of: negotiations

The member who is singlehandedly in charge of negotiations. She takes care of many behind-the-scenes activities such as post-processing of information leaks and securing facilities. She has never lost an argument.

She takes pride having the lightest footwork in the special department. She also has Karasuma’s trust.

Overall, I think Sonokawa’s pretty awesome, and I got to say that I’m somewhat disappointed that according to the graduation album, one year after everything was over, she married Ukai and became a housewife. I mean, nothing wrong with being a housewife, but with her skills…

(Also, about the bird thing, Karasuma's boss is called Onaga Gouki. Onaga is azure-winged magpie. And then there was Takaoka, who has hawk (taka) in his name.)

While researching something, I ended up on the Japanese Wikipedia and found this tidbit (sorry for the oddness, it's automatic Google translate)-

Particularly: The difference may be expressed by metaphors such as "The Ground Self-Defense Force eats rice balls, the Maritime Self-Defense Force eats curry, and the Air Self-Defense Force eats hamburgers".

I know it's probably a stretch, but I wonder if this has anything to do with Karasuma, who was part of the Air SDF, eating only hamburgers (and cup ramen) from what the students have seen :p.
