Nymbamphan (axolotl) Species Sheet

Clothing options take inspiration from traditional Japan or can even just be kimono or jinbei. Typically, you’re going to want to give them lighter clothing due to the warmer climate of the Nymbampha Cove. Here’s one of my Nymbamphan characters to get an idea of some of the clothing options

Even though he is royalty, Nambi prefers wearing “commoner” clothing rather than the more extravagant kinds. The only thing indicative of his actual status is the gemstone in his whisker band.

Also this took waaaaayyyyyy too long to make. I’m so glad this is finally done :D

Digging Duo Delves Deeply - Twin Geologists Make Gems and Minerals More Affordable to the Common Pony

Unicorns Yin and Yang explore caves on the outskirts of Ponyville and use their findings to not only expand local museum with their intriguing and rare findings, but also stimulate the economy by increasing jobs and lowering material costs, thus making precious metals and gems (somewhat) more affordable to everypony.

Random facts about Sirius, Sam and Val’s unfortunate child that every day questions his existence and tries to channel it into his art lmao:

Lives in Vesuvia full time—wants nothing to do with the Pearl Isles and denies his birthright to it (as a note: Sam eventually will find a successor for him like the previous duke did for him; pretty similar to how Lucio became count in that does it make sense ? No but it’s happening lol)

Also refuses to get involved in Vesuvian politics, much to Valerius’ sadness lmao Pretty much he doesn’t want any of his dads’ baggage as his own, and he tries to maintain a pristine self image and reputation

Is an ✨Artiste✨while he does do visual arts, dance is his primary form of expression. I’m leaning towards classic ballet, but he does do experimental fusion styles with western and eastern styles (literally a metaphor for himself lmao) Was primarily encouraged by Sam and owes a lot of his initial success to him (we love nepotism in this house lmao), but he does have some raw talent in there where he can be taken seriously

Despite this, though, he is Valerius’ Son™️ They’re extremely close and many of his mannerisms are nearly identical to Valerius. He tries very hard to be serene and unreadable, but he is very easily flustered and overwhelmed. Also has a bad temper where he loses any sense of filter lmao

Often gets into arguments with Sam over Sam’s past, specifically when it comes to Sam and his family. Sirius wants to be able to engage with his aunts and uncles and cousins, but he can’t do so without bringing up decades of baggage. He really resents Sam for this and is also why he is deeply loyal and dedicated to his family in Vesuvia. However, deep down Sirius just wants a normal relationship with Sam and his family, and no matter how often they argue, he instantly runs back and apologized lmao (him and Damien are VERY similar if we can’t tell lmao)

As mentioned, Sirus is the “older brother” to Don Don and Nadia’s accidental brain baby, Nambi. While they aren’t twins, they do share the same birthday, and essentially Val, Donna, and Nadia raise them both together as a family. Sirius extremely protective of him despite Nambi not really needing someone so doting—this is something Sam makes a constant note of, and it’s another main point of contention for them.

Hopeless romantic at heart but is utterly clueless when it comes to dating. Is very much in love with a local professional dominant, who is not quite sure what to think of him back LOL but Sirius is a Bottom Bitch™️ though and he’s trying his best lmfao

I originally wanted to do updates strictly traditional, in order to practice more, but forgot how much faster digital pics can sometimes be....So, we’ll see if/when I return to ink and watercolors - which is why the color keeps changing: mixing colors for each update can make the hue vary, as does the way my camera picks up the color.
