[ULTRANGELTOBER 2023] Day 24 - Twin

This was literally an excuse to get this lovely birthday present for @a-thenais onto my profiles. I'm surprised I didn't do it last year, since the prompt is for last year's Ultrangeltober.

It features both of our Lucifers, or 'the twins', as we call them for being so similar. This is non-canonical to either of our stories, although their designs are canonical to how they are in each of their heavens. It includes my Lucifer's pet peacock named Phosphoros, and her Lucifer's unnamed cobra friend.

🫁 Goretober Week 1: ROTTING x BLOODSPILL 🫁

(character name/pronouns: Lucifer, he/they)

☆ so thrilled i got to kick this year's Goretober off with the same character i ended last year's; Lucifer, infected by the 'Wrath' strain; a parasite that has resulted in quite the grotesquely 'angellic' transformation.

☆ basically, my whole goal with this piece was to make Lucifer look *undead*; his face is a gory bloody mess, his legs are buckling under his own dead weight, the wings he has sprouted under the effects of his infection are butchered and raw, and the rot is spreading *fast*.

☆ To say he isn't himself anymore is a severe, gross understatement. The old Lucifer is dead and *rotting*.

[ANGELTOBER 2024] Day 15 - Heretic

I have been aching to share this full piece since August.

Honestly the prompt I wanted to put was 'heresiarch', but that's literally the title of [one of my novels], and a word not many people may know. For my prompt list, I elected the simpler version that people would be more familiar with.

Anyways, a heresiarch is the founder of a heresy or the leader of a heretical sect, whereas a heretic is a follower of a heresy. My novels assume the viewpoint that Lucifer was the original heresiarch, thus explaining the title of the novel that features his rebellion. I have many, many words I could write on heresy and apostasy in my novels, but that's another issue entirely.

This was all a big excuse to draw my favorite angel with his glorious tail.
