Laura's backstory

Laura's the youngest Guardian Angel, the sixth incarnation of the Red Lorry.

-Whenever a Guardian Angel was killed Chuck created a new one of the same species

She was taken from Eden- the Guardian Angel home- very young and has no memory of it, and was raised by Demons. Azazel wanted to use her as a General to lead his army when the time came to free Lucifer from his cage. Asmodeus had other plans. He intended for her to be Lucifer's consort and give birth to a new breed of soldier to help Lucifer in the coming days of the Apocalypse. And to ensure that she would be adequate for Lucifer he, and several other Demons under his command (*TRIGGER WARNING*) raped her several times over the intervening centuries.

Asmodeus also taught Laura how to interrogate and torture. At one point, when she was the equivalent of a Human thirteen year old (about a year after he claimed her virginity) another Guardian Angel was captured, The First ever created- Falco Columbarius.

-Guardian Angels have two names their Formal (scientific) name and their common name.

Laura, then known as Laurie was trained on Falco Columbarius, also known as Macelynn-or Macey for short (OC of @kestrelsparverius) how to torture and hurt Guardian Angels. After several centuries of watching and being expected to hurt Macelynn and countless others Laura reached out to the Archangel Gabriel, Macelynn's Mate to help rescue her, and hopefully kill or free Laura in the process.

One of her earliest and only happy memories from before she escaped Hell was the day she met her Familiar, a small black teleporting kitten she named Grimm.

-All Guardian Angels have Familiars, they're the other half of their soul and the direct link to their grace since Guardian Angels don't have vessels and were too powerful to be contained in one form, their soul and grace were split. The closer a Guardian Angel is to their Familiar the stronger they are.

When Laura escaped Hell and Asmodeus she wandered Earth for a little over a year learning how to interact with Humans and what life was like on Earth, scrounging to survive, never having been permitted to travel the surface, before running into a witch Tasha Mac Leod and Trickster Emily who both adopted her and taught her even more about Earth and Humans.

She traveled with Tasha and Emily for many decades dishing out vigilante justice and helping people before they were attacked by a group of Hunters and separated, each believing the other two to be dead.

Laura hid her true identity as a Guardian Angel and took the name Laura Milton and started working as a Hunter, sticking to herself for the most part and only working with others when absolutely necessary.

Laura has two possessions that are very precious to her. The first her illusion charm, a necklace with the pendant in the shape of an anti-possesion symbol which was gifted to her by Tasha to hide her wings and help her better blend in. And the second being her 1962 gunmetal grey Cadillac Deville, this being the first item she aquired through her own means- taking up odd jobs and gambling to save up the money to by it- that was inherently and irrevocably hers.

   Holder of the 99th position of the Mount Battle she is the last trainer fought before taking on Cole at the 100th level. She’s held the title since Cole claimed Mount Battle back from Cipher during the Shadow Pokemon incident and was a victim of having her own Pokemon stolen from her when Cipher came for them all. Cole, having snagged back Togetic from the thieves freed the Pokemon’s heart and returned it to Laura upon taking the lead title of Leader of Mount Battle from the previous holder. 

   For the very reason that he saved, and returned, her precious partner Laura has taken it upon herself to befriend Cole and not accept any of his bullshit that he undoubtedly throws at her. She’s one of the select few who has become accustomed to his rather brash nature and doesn’t let it effect her. She attempts to give it all back to him in stride, butting his own words back at him and not letting him slack off in the duties he has to perform as their leader. 

   She has a way of crawling under his skin and Laura is aware it’s because she reminds him of someone else. In fact, she uses that to her own means to get him to crack a little and let someone else in. It’s selective in when it works and when it doesn’t she just resigns herself to calling him pig headed and ignoring him the rest of the day. 

   They’re rather childish together. 

   Laura acts as Leader of Mount Battle when Cole is unavailable being the one person there who can give Cole a decent enough fight to step in as his replacement. 

   Previously being from the Kalos Region Laura was rather used to the type of weather that Orre has. Her mother moved them from the Region when she had a particularly harsh falling out with Laura’s father who she still keeps in contact with. Her first Pokemon Togepi had been a gift from her father, he had traded one of his own to acquire the Pokemon for her. As a result Togetic has a rather special place in her heart and she adores her father dearly. It causes a bit of a rift between her and her mother. 

   Being Orre was quite small Laura did her Adventure back in Kalos, having left Orre for the purpose of doing so. She collected the Gym Battles but found the Elite Four to be something she wasn’t very interested in and returned to Orre to take the Colosseum Challenge. Those battles lead her to Mount Battle where she found a special place among the way they run things there. It was like the Elite Four but far more open and diverse than the set ways of the Kalos Region. The room it gave them to show who they were personal as trainers was what she liked about it. 

   So Laura fought for a rank among them. It was during her challenge that Cipher came, broke Mount Battle down and claimed it for their own personal twisted needs. They took the life of one of her partners and then stole Togetic in the battle only to later have them return with a twisted version of her dear partner. It broke her to watch her partner be used, abused, and tortured but there was little she found she could do against a Shadow Pokemon. 

   Which was when Wes Cole came, and easily took down Cipher like they were childs play. From that point on, once she regained her partner, Laura was determined to prove herself and prove to Cole that she could protect her own Pokemon. 

   Laura specializes in Fairy, Psychic and Dragon type Pokemon.
