He reached for Beelzebub’s hand once more while they passed beneath the swirling hurricane of lustful souls within the Second Circle of Hell. And although Beelzebub’s wings shielded them from the vicious winds, they did not shield Lucifer from the enigmatic loneliness he found in his heart caused by the tempest of human shades.

If his husband were to take to flight alongside the souls, would the Infernal winds lift Lucifer as well? 

Would he be allowed to fly with his lover into the storm’s vehemence, here, within his own realm? Or would that be forbidden for him? Would following Beelzebub into the winds, in Beelzebub’s arms since he could not fly on his own, be too much of a comfort for him, too much of a reprieve from the rest of Hell? 

It was a reprieve Lucifer did not deserve. He could only foresee that he would find himself shackled to the ground from a wrathful and spiteful action caused by their Father’s omniscience.

And if Beelzebub noticed his absence, would Beelzebub choose to join him, instead of flying freely within the Infernal tempest?

The winds tossed Beelzebub’s curls into his handsome features.

At least Beelzebub was plagued by a different set of thoughts, and not these waking dreams of flight.

I need Beelzebub lore, I beg of thee to share

I originally designed him for the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius character design contest a few years ago! I didn't win so I just. Decided to keep him

I changed a lot about his design and backstory since then but he has always been fond of bugs. The giant beetle also isn't permanently around anymore but I'd like to bring it back from time to time.

He's from a prestigious family of summoners, but all he can summon are insects! Or can he?

[ANGELTOBER 2024] Day 31 - Savior

Well I honestly did not think I was going to get this picture done, but I am so happy I did.

It is based on an image I found over the summer, of a model who looks similar to Beelzebub (medium skin, curly dark hair, strong arms), who was holding a peacock. It delighted me and I decided I needed to redraw it with Bee immediately.

And it's kind of funny to put on the prompt 'savior' because that's how Beelzebub views himself when it comes to his husband... aka the silly peacock angel (Lucifer) who is really good at messing things up. But in Heresiarch, Lucifer also has a pet peacock (the original peacock), and it was even funnier/cuter to imagine Bee (or Bael, as he was called back then) holding him and protecting him from... something, we don't know what.

[ANGELTOBER 2023] Day 18 - Decay (+24 Carrion, +15 Corvidae)

Oops I combined a bunch of prompts here. This was originally created for [Angeltober] Day 24 - Carrion.

Because Beelzebub is a carrion crow, and I wanted to draw him feeding his murder of crows some carrion. But then I saw the 'Corvidae' prompt for [Ultrangeltober], of course it fit perfectly for that.

However, then I needed to rearrange my layout a bit for other prompt ideas that I wanted to do. So Bee & his crows got repositioned to be posted on Day 18 - Decay, one of last year's prompts which fit the picture as well.

I don't have too much to say on it. My favorite crow is the lonely little guy on the left side. It was also so nice to draw my favorite seraph. <3
