But i first read fics was on Wattpad, and there quite a few of them, but i have read only a couple, i think mostly because pretty soon after i discovered AO3 and for some reason i like that site a bit more. Asch x Reader | Freedom

Synopsis/ Author's note: You were close with the prince of Daemos. In fact, he was in love with you. Key word: was. This is an angst fic that I was challenged to write. Having some writer's block and wanted to create a less than 500 word fic as an exercise. Requests are being worked on, FYI.

Word Count: 495

Asch, prince of Daemos & second in line for the throne, has never fallen in love before; And does not plan to do so any time soon. Everyone knew it, he cared too much for his kingdom to completely absorb himself into such selfish endeavours. That was before you  came into his life. There was something about you, something that Asch couldn't name; but somewhere deep down, somewhere inside his soul, he knew: you were the one.

The demon prince fell in love with you, and he fell hard. He felt vulnerable around you; his cold façade melted when you were with him. It was now clear: he wanted you, body and soul. To him, you were his everything...

It was a seemingly normal night for the demon prince. As he wandered the dimly lit halls of the castle, he spotted you, out on a balcony staring mindlessly into the distance. Something was on your mind... Asch stepped closer to you, his mind hazy from the sight of you. Your presence was intoxicating, you were his drug. Asch's thoughts were interrupted by your voice.

"Oh, Prince Asch! I assume that your meeting went well?" You smiled. The prince glanced down at his feet.

"Yeah..." He lied.

"Stop lying, I Know that the crisis is getting worse." You spat at him before turning back towards the balcony. There was tension in the air, both of you felt it. Perhaps to distract himself, he blurted out a question.

"What is love?" He wanted to slap himself for asking you something so stupid. His voice sent a jolt of electricity through you.

"Freedom..." You answered, turning to face Asch.

"Some of us might disagree with that."

"well, we'll just agree to disagree..." You shrugged before turning away towards your room.

"All right," He stared at your back. "Goodnight, (y/n)... I'll see you tomorrow." You stopped in your tracks. Your mind was racing, did you want to tell him? Perhaps you should foreshadow your plans?

"... I don't want to fly..." you stated, glancing back at Asch as you continued. "I want to soar. There's something more to my purpose in life, Asch, I just know it."

It was then when he realized what you meant. You were a free spirit, always looking for something more. The way you smiled, the way you moved, and the way you cared about the kingdom, Asch loved everything. He realized that you wanted to leave...

But he realized it too late. Asch raced like the wind to your room, adrenaline pumping through his veins. Perhaps if he was fast enough, he could still stop you. He wasted no time swinging your door open, but time had run out. You went out of his life as swiftly as you came into it. Your room was empty, and you were gone without a trace... gone with the wind...

He searched the room for any trace of you; but he only thing he found was a small parchment with the one word: 'Earth'...

(The character on the icon is Daemos!Inverted Ava and the one on the header is Inverted!Ava. I do have Daemos OCs, though, and have a lot of OCs for an original story I’m working on)

Wisp (OC) x Female!Reader Headcanons

-People on Daemos thought that she would know about the earth.

-Because she was a half Daemos half human.

-When she was on earth, She was a little confused at first and wandered around the streets.

-A few hours later she found two girls on two trees and…

-WAIT MORE DAEMOS ARE HERE AS WELL?!

-She hid her horns and talked to the daemos to calm down.

-And then prince Asch burned the two trees.

-Aaaaaand the two girls passed out and we bring the two girls back to they’re apartment.

-Wisp knows a lot about the earth but not the entire thing.

-When they got home she immediately took the H/C-haired girl to the couch.

-When the E/C-eyed girl woke up with her roommate...

-Wisp and the others were all just strolling the house.

-Rhys explained everything to them but the pink-eyed girl didn’t understand.

-When they got they’re free-time,

-Wisp was talking to the girls.

-They’re name was Y/N and Ava.

-Later they all went to sleep.

-Ava was sleeping alone while Wisp was sleeping with Y/N.

~Time skip~

-Noi said Ava was her boyfriend for some reason....

-When the boys found out that Ava was a princess,

-They all freaked out and they were fighting over her.

-But Wisp didn’t care about Ava.

-She still liked Y/N.

-She gets to know Y/N better when she had the chance.

-Y/N liked making music.

-And when Wisp said she knows how to sing Y/N cut her off.

-”WAIT YOU KNOW HOW TO SING?!” Y/N shouted.

-“Ummmm...Yeah…?” Wisp confusingly said.

-“OH MY GOD THIS IS GOLD.”Y/N exclaims.

-“How about we make a song?!”Y/N excitedly asked.

-“Sure.”Wisp answered.

-“YAYYYYYYY!!!!” Y/N screeched.

-Wisp liked seeing her princess happy.

-They made a song called “Not from this world”.

-When they were done Y/N asked Wisp.

-“Why did you call our song “Not from this world???” Is it about the daemos or you?”

-Wisp then froze.

-“It’s because…I’m a daemos…” Wisp nervously said.

-“WAIT WHAT THE-” Y/N almost cursed.

-“SHHH.”

-Wisp then only showed her horns to Y/N in secret.

~Another time skip I’m so sorry ;-;~

-Fall came and Ava asked them if they wanted to come to the Fall Festival.

-Wisp and Y/N was ready while the other daemos took a bath.

-Y/N checked the calendar and it said...

-October 25th.

-WAIT WISP’S BIRTHDAY WAS TOMMOROW?! (Yes my birthday is October 26th)

-She then was super happy that tommorow was her birthday!

-After the festival she went shopping and she picked this outfit:

-It looked soooooo cute! 

~Her birthday~

-When Wisp woke up she was being stared at by Y/N.

-“Hi Wisp!” Y/N greeted.

-“Let’s go outside! But first you need to put this blindfold on!” Y/N said as she gave Wisp a blindfold.

-“What are you planning?” Wisp asked.

-“Just follow me!” Y/N ignored her question.

-When she was out of her room,

-Y/N took her blindfold off.

-“SUPRISEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE” All of them said at the same time.

-Wisp was shocked.

-Confetti, a sign that said “HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISP!”, balloons-Anything you could wish for your birthday.

“Wisp?” Y/N shyly asked.

“What is i-!”

-Y/N had kissed her...On the lips.

-Wisp couldn’t believe it…

-”Here you go!” Y/N said while blushing.

“Thank you!” Wisp happily took her beautiful clothes.

Other: A conversation between old friends and a reunion

She thinks the worst part of her visit to Daemos is the lack of color. Despite Asch's efforts to make people more tolerant and his changing of the rules, it's still nowhere near as nice as Earth. She wishes Ava could be with her as she stays in the castle while she works through things with Asch, trying to motivate him once again due to Pierce's request. "You could come visit Earth again. Maybe being there for a few days will help you out?" The king stares at her, his hands crossed in front of his face.

"We both know I wouldn't come back," he mumbles, and she can see him force back a frown.

"Even then, you know she's not the boss of you. And maybe not coming back wouldn't be so bad."

"You're only saying that because you hate it here, Ligh."

"Don't you?" There's a charged moment of silent, defiant eyes meeting resigned acceptant ones. "What's so much better about this place? You hated this place. All you did was complain about it. Why come back when Earth is just right there? Where you could pretend you weren't royalty and just let loose and be yourself? Where you could let yourself grow and be happy?" She holds back on mentioning Sarah, just so she doesn't spill about Charlie's existence. She still doesn't feel he deserves to know after being gone for so long, but she also doesn't want to make him angry.

"Ligh I couldn't just leave behind my responsibilities here. It didn't matter if no one on Earth cared who I am, because I wasn't really looking for a fresh start. I just wanted to see if I could help Daemos, and I did." They maintain eye contact for a few more seconds before she looks away, getting out of her chair and heading for the door. Before she opens it, she looks over her shoulder and sighs.

"Fine, your highness. I hope you enjoy the you you're forced to be. I'm going home." She wants to mention how he said ‘did’ and not ‘I am’. It just speaks about how there’s nothing more he can do without a horrible amount of pushback.

Making the portal back to Earth is draining, and she feels quite tired afterwards, but she stumbles through, leaning against the wall of a building when she appears in an alley. She feels a bit under the weather, but she hides her horns and makes her way back to her apartment, managing to keep herself moving in the crowd.

When she does get home, she climbs up the stairs and to her apartment, pulling out the keys and unlocking the door. She glances at the clock, and realizes there's still a few hours before Ava comes home. She slides off her shoes and locks the door once again before walking into the living room and flopping down on the couch. She figures a short nap couldn't hurt, and lets her eyes flutter close. She can faintly hear voices from the radio from Avery's room, letting them help lull her to sleep.

She wakes up when she hears the door unlock, her long blonde hair a huge mess as she sleepily stares at the door, rubbing some of the sleep from her eyes. She slowly comes to process that Ava has returned home, and a smile tugs at her lips. She slides her legs off the couch, getting up and making her way to Ava, who's busy setting her stuff on the counter.

Just as she gets to the other woman, Ava turns and looks up at her, a smile on her face. "Glad to see you're back," she mumbles, wrapping her arms around Ligh's neck, standing on her tippy toes to accomplish this task. She leans down a bit to make it easier, wrapping her arms around Ava's waist before gently kissing her.

"I missed you," she mumbles, how tired she is evident in her voice, and Ava gives a small laugh, looking up at her lover.

"I missed you too. Try not to leave for a week again, it was so boring without you." Ava puts emphasis on the last word, and it warms the daemos’ heart. She missed this so much, just being able to hold the other close and stare into her eyes. She’s glad to be able to come home to someone who loves her, and someone who makes her happy.

"I'll try not to," she whispers, before kissing the other woman again, happy to know she’s in a house of love and acceptance.

Nicknames: Pretty much everyone- Princess or Princess Hibi, Asch- My jewel and Ray of light, Ava- the good one, and Pierce- Little one

Likes: defending herself, proving to herself that she is not that weak, having long talks with her brothers, getting to know Asch that other people don't get to see from him, learning everything about Earth or learning about anything in general,and human cookies and milk

Dislikes:How weak she is (or what she believes), her sister trying to take Asch away from her, her father, and been found out

Fun Facts

She is just as weak as Noi when it comes to magic and/or strength, but no one can tell (somehow)

Her and Asch's marriage was out of love not to get something out of it from each, even though she lived in a little town with little to no trades

She has two older brothers named Ares and Heph and an older sister named Cyana (Yes she’s the baby in the family)

She's really close to Pierce and sees him as a big brother and he always tries to look out for her whenever he can (and she does that same for him)

Doesn’t get along with Lady Bish when Hibi joined the royal family

Just like how Rhys loves ice cream and Noi loves pizza, she love human cookies and milk

She’s nice as long as you’re on her good side

She learned at a young age if she acts tough no one will expects her of being “weak”

Like how Rhal “gave” Asch, Pierce. She was given to Asch by Lady Grandma to be his sixth knight, because she was scared for his safety. (mainly think about Pierce’s safety first though)
