I'm constantly scared of losing my phone. My phone is one of the few pieces of tech that I owned (and that still works) before my mom's death. It's been with me since 2019. Just like my old tablet was with me since maybe 2016. I'm attached to this phone, but it sometimes crashes from too many pages on my web browser. And sometimes it'll also just struggle to load stuff. And the phone case is a real disaster. It's pretty much being held together by constant tape, but I can't find any new phone cases that fit this old phone (or that I feel comfortable with texturally). So i'm almost in constant panic mode because of how much i worry about this thing. I don't know what to do if i ever lose it. Hell, even the idea of losing the phone case sends me spiralling. So it's all just really stressful for me. sigh...

Ideally I would make detailed posts like the ones for Banana and Cathy for as many of our plush as I can, but honestly. Not a lot to say about a lot of our plush. And ideally I, personally, would want a collection of highly sentimental and equally adored plush. I don't like the idea of hoarding I don't want just, storage bins of plush that I only keep because we'd feel bad selling or donating them, or that we only really like as a set and not individually, or yadda yadda yadda. But we've given away so many plush over the years that we now wonder about and dream of finding again and I'd hate for that to happen to any of our currents. It's why I've taken up documenting all of them (privately). If ever I was going to give away or sell our plush we have now, I'd want them to go to someone who will love them as much as they deserve to be loved. Maybe one day soonish I'll post photos of them all so people can see them (I do have photos of them all)

Number whatever of dunmeshi stuff i enjoy is. Ryoko kui showing how easy it is to just Not sexualize a teenager. Itsuzumi has one of the most revealing outfits of the main cast- midriff showing, no sleeves, simple cloth around the waist- but theres no attention drawn to it (that ive seen). Shock of all shocks, a teen character can be drawn in somewhat revealing clothing that they choose to wear and the artist can be normal about it!

Honestly, the ghosts can feel other ghosts theory is very well supported, and I would like to share some proof shown during the season.

In episode 1, Charles clearly felt the other ghost (the WWI soldier, Wilfred) strangling him, he also got his face covered in that black liquid after he took the cursed mask off his face.

If ghosts could be able to play the same rules with other ghosts as they do with the living, Charles could have chosen to simply pass through Wilfred and seize the knife. However, he was unable to do so.

Also, during Episode 3, when that ghost's head exploded, Charles and Edwin were covered with the pieces of his ghostly brain, so I guess, fluids are other things that have their own rules when we talk about ghost-to-ghost interaction.

Sure these are not the prettiest of examples, but they support my point just fine. And I guess, it's good information for when you're writing... All sorts of fanfiction.

Kieran has me in a chokehold. His character arc is so GOOD. You can tell that his bitterness and anger doesn’t just come from everything that’s happened to him recently. It’s pretty obvious that he’s been living in Carmine’s shadow for a LONG time and she’s always kinda treated him badly. But it wasn’t until the player character came along that he was finally able to voice that in his own way;; Just when he thinks he’s made a true friend in someone, someone that can and will stand up to his sister and is able to defeat her in battle (which inspires him to start speaking up for himself more), Carmine steals them away. And that’s a big betrayal to him. He clearly has self esteem issues which leads to him thinking that Carmine was talking shit about him behind his back and getting the player to believe that he wasn’t worth being friends with. And that makes him think both of them were laughing at him and making fun of him. And THEN the player goes and takes the last thing that Kieran has, the last thing he truly cares about: Ogerpon. It’s no wonder he got so frustrated and petty and lashed out 😭 Still breaks my heart to see but they did a really good job showing that progression of him losing more and more of his patience with Carmine. And him generally feeling like everything he cares about is being torn away. And losing to the player over and over just makes things WORSE. He’s not strong enough to beat them, he’s not strong enough to stand up to his sister, he’s not strong enough to be worthy of Ogerpon, he’s not strong. He needs to get stronger. Stronger and stronger and stronger.

GODDDD. He’s going to live rent free in my brain forever now. I can’t wait to see the direction they take with him in The Indigo Disk

you know chatelaines ARE super-cool but I always wonder how common they can possibly have been outside the house

this is a culture, in most western countries' urban/suburban areas, where pickpocketing was basically a sport. and you're going to go around with all your personal effects dangling on the outside of your skirt??? people weren't stupid back then, on the whole

I mean sure it's usually just sewing tools, a memorandum book and pencil, and a perfume vial. but some of those could be pretty valuable- and I've seen ones with little mesh purses, as if for change!

chatelaines MUST have been an Indoor Thing, right?

(but then why the change-purses, is the question? you don't exactly need to buy a lot of things around the house. were the purses in fact NOT intended for hanging on a chatelaine, but rather pinning to the inside of a skirt pocket or something, to deter theft? was that a style choice for days when you were going shopping with a carriage? I have Many Questions)

EDIT: some folks have theorized that the change-purses were for things one needed to buy at the door- paying for milk/egg/butter/cream delivery, tipping errand-boys, knife-sharpening, etc. I don't know if the nightsoil man was paid at the door or if that was settled up with the city, when/where that was a thing, but that could be another possibility for Things That Require Small Change In The House. thanks for the good thought, guys!
