Random Obey Me! Headcanons Part 2

During the first year of the exchange program and when MC couldn't fend for themselves yet, the only way they were allowed out of the house "alone" was with Cerberus accompanying them. And when I tell you the hellhound did an amazing job at protecting them… all it took was a slightly off-putting stare at MC for it to send back the most terrifying glare and loud growl at the demon eyeing them. These outings of theirs once resulted in a pretty infamous picture going viral, where MC was mindlessly buying ice cream at a stall while Cerberus was beside them giving off the most ominous aura as all its heads glared at someone off-screen. You can imagine all the memes that came from it.

When Satan was a baby he used to have constant nightmares about the war and would always wake up screaming and crying, waking up everyone with him. Because of this Lucifer would have to stay up at ungodly hours of the night trying everything he could to calm him down, having to rock the tiny demon in his arms for hours around the corridors till he eventually went back to sleep. At some point Diavolo suggested that he read for Satan, as it was a less energy-draining method. And although Lucifer didn't really see the point given that Satan was a baby and couldn't even understand words yet, he gave it a shot anyway. It ended up working, to both his relief and surprise.

When Mammon first realized he could both understand and tell crows what to do he thought he was going insane. And the brothers were all sure he was lying when he first told them of his ability, having to see firsthand Mammon order around an army of crows as if it was nothing. They were definitely left speechless that day.

Asmo has a podcast where he mainly talks with other famous influencers from the Devildom and demons in the fashion or music industry. All the brothers participated in an episode at some point, and so did MC, the Purgatory Hall crew, and Diavolo.

If MC has a similar clothing style to Mammon's, he'll let them have the clothes he doesn't use anymore. And there's a TON of them, since he buys so many just out of greed and never bothers wearing them more than two or three times.

A few months into the exchange program Diavolo came up with an idea to have the whole gang ( HoL, Purgatory Hall, and the Demon Lord's Castle ) meet up monthly to hang out, have dinner together, etc. It was another way he found to strengthen the bonds between everyone, and no one was allowed to miss it. In the beginning it was a chore to participate but now everyone gets excited when the end of the month starts coming around and they can meet again.

This one time when the brothers were all drunk playing stupid games together they decided that whoever ended up last would have to get an embarrassing tattoo of whatever the others chose. Belphie lost, and to this day the brothers still crack up whenever they catch a glimpse of the small tattoo on his rib that reads "baby of the family". Belphie always gets pissy about it, making them tease him even more.

( Spoilers for lesson 16 ) I went into more detail about this in another post but I believe MC also carries memories from the Celestial War because of their connection to Lilith. And this is something that brings them closer to Satan, since as mentioned before, he also has memories of that time but from Lucifer's perspective. Aka, trauma bonding ✨

Following the tattoo headcanon, Belphie definitely lied to MC about the rib tattoo at first since they didn't couldn't understand Infernal and didn't know what it said. Man 100% told them it meant something else and made up some deep story behind it to make himself look cool or whatever. But it all came crumbling down when everyone went on a trip to the beach and the brothers brought up his "adorable tattoo". He never felt so embarrassed in his life.

Ever since finding out about pride month, Asmo made it into a thing to visit the human realm every year to celebrate it by going to the biggest parade happening that year. And he always drags the brothers with him, making sure to pick outfits for Belphie, Beel, and Lucifer since none of them know how to "dress properly for pride." He just can't let what happened the first time they went happen again, with everyone at the parade wearing colorful and beautifully elaborate clothing while these 3 looked completely out of place ( Lucifer was wearing a full black suit, just so you have an idea. So yeah, he was sticking out in the crowd like crazy ).

As a joke, every time Father's Day comes up the characters go around giving Lucifer, Barbatos, and Simeon shitty gifts and wishing them "Happy Father's Day". But not Beel, who even though knows everyone's doing it for a bit, still gives them a genuine gift and a sincere smile every time. Because let's be honest, these three deserve some actual acknowledgment for raising their troublesome children-not-children. ( Fun fact: Diavolo gives Barbatos both a gag gift and an actual one, and Luke gives Simeon a gift while trying to make it seem like he's just doing it for the joke, though it's obvious he means it. )

Long ago when anime wasn't a thing yet Levi used to be obsessed with marine life. He had extensive knowledge of it and would be pulling random ocean facts out of nowhere and leaving everyone confused. And he absolutely loved sharks, like, you know those people that'll go into great detail to explain why our perception of sharks is fucked and they're actually sweethearts? Yup, that was Levi. Also, if you said your favorite animals were dolphins? Oh, you'd be seeing the most disgusted look show up on his face. ( He'd too explain that dolphins are evil and why you shouldn't like them at all, completely ruining your view of them )

Since Asmo, Beel, and Levi are represented by cold-blooded animals ( a scorpion, a fly, and a serpent ) I headcanon that they can't generate a lot of body heat and touching their skin when it's cold would feel like coming in contact with freezing ice and definitely not the move if you're looking for warmth. Lucifer, Mammon, Satan, and Belphie though? These 4 become MC's personal heaters when winter comes around, and you better bet they're demanding cuddles from all of them ( cold-blooded gang be jealous as fuck of this ).

Solomon puts weird shit on what he cooks on purpose just to fuck with everyone. His grandpa ass finds it absolutely hilarious how everyone tries to keep him away from the kitchen at all costs while simultaneously doing everything to avoid outright saying his cooking is terrible because they don't want to hurt his feelings. Because come on, how does a man who's lived this long on his own not know how to cook? He can follow strict instructions to make the weirdest potions ever but not a recipe to make a simple dinner? Nah, I don't buy it. He definitely knows how to cook and does a decent job at making food for himself when he wants to.

Lucifer was probably doing his work when he felt someone staring at him. Yeah, I just know he's so used to his brothers being troublemaker that he can feel when someone's looking at him for even a second. So it's not a surprise that he looks up at you pretty quickly.

At first he'll be so done, he'll straight up assume that you want to test curses on him again but luckily he's positively surprised. And that's when he saw you, eyes filled with love and admiration as you stared at him and he smiled at you with a bit of love before chuckling and hugging you tighter or just hugging you if he already wasn't. Of course, he'll compliment you a little bit as well.

Spending New Years Eve with the Obey Me Boys

Just a short little thing to celebrate New Years.

Lucifer

You have to convince him to stop working before he misses the whole day. He'd take you out on a nice little date around the Devildom during the day, and then the two of you will come back home and relax after. Lucifer isn't big on parties, but if you want to attend a New Years party, he won't say no. Once it's midnight, he'll kiss you, deep and passionate, making those around you jealous. Afterwards, the two of you spend some quality time alone, welcoming the new year together.

Mammon

Naturally, he's taking you to a party of some kind. It's loud, crazy, and perfect for Mammon. The two of you dance, drink, and party for hours, just basking in the fun of it all. There are fireworks and sparklers and shouts of joy everywhere you look. At midnight, Mammon grabs you and kisses you. It's far from a perfect kiss considering he's running on pure adrenaline and alcohol, but that's just fine for the both of you. For the rest of the night and early into the morning, the two of you stay out, enjoying the festivities as well as each other.

Leviathan

As the introvert of the family, nothing sounds less appealing to Leviathan than a New Years party. So, instead, the two of you stay in and binge some anime. It's an anime the two of you have seen countless time together, but it never gets old no matter how many times you watch it. Leviathan keeps track of the time, watching as the clock slowly inches to midnight. Once it does, he shyly initiates a kiss, and it's over as quickly as it began. He's a blushing mess, but he's happy, and so are you. When you finally decide to leave his room, it's already the next day. You haven't slept, too busy marathoning, but you wouldn't have it any other way.

Satan

He's not big on many New Years celebrations, so he lets you take the lead. Wherever you wish to go, he will follow, and gladly. You spend most of the day out shopping at bookstores, selecting stories to read while you wait for midnight. For the rest of the day leading into the night, you and Satan sit in the lounge, silently reading and enjoying one another's company. As the clock strikes midnight, Satan walks over to you and places a kiss on your lips. It is a loving, yet short kiss, and it is everything you love. After a while, you begin to tire out, and you curl up next to Satan. The final thing you hear before drifting off to sleep is his voice reading your favorite story.

Asmodeus

The two of you go party hopping together. Asmodeus has to grace as many people with his gorgeous self before the year ends, and he wants you along for the ride. You go party to party, enjoying yourselves and partying with various crowds. However, at the end of it all, Asmodeus wants nothing more than to spend his final moments of the year with you and you alone. He drags you home while you still have time, and the two of you have a mini makeover session. It's calming and relaxing, and a wonderful way to end your year. Once it's midnight, Asmodeus practically pounces on you, kissing every inch of your face he can reach. Every kiss conveys how much he loves you, and you spend the rest of the night in this sweet bliss.

Beelzebub

He takes you out all around the Devildom for some special New Years treats. There are some snacks that you can only find around this time of year, and Beelzebub intends to try every last one with you. The whole day is spend in every restaurant, bakery, and shop you can find, and each treat is more delicious than the last. However, nothing is sweeter than the kiis Beelzebub gives you once midnight arrives. The kiss is more romantic than anything you've ever experienced, soft and gentle and everything you love about him. Once you've tried every treat you can find, he takes you home where the two of you rest up, effectively sleeping off the food.

Belphegor

Belphegor is determined to be awake when midnight strikes, so he makes sure to nap as much as possible during the day to store up energy. This, of course, means that you're napping as well. As boring as it sounds, napping with Belphegor is a lovely way to spend the day. He's comfortable and warm, and you drift off easily in his arms. Just in case, an alarm was set to ensure you awoke before midnight, which is what happens. Despite still being sleepy, Belphegor pushes that aside in favor of you, kissing you like a starved man. It's soft and comfortable, just like he is, and it's a perfect way to wake up. After the kiss, he immediately falls back asleep, pulling you down with him.

Diavolo

You're helping Diavolo plan his New Years party. It's a lot of prep work, and it takes up most of your day, but being able to spend it all with him makes it more bearable. As is expected of the future king, his attention is taken by a variety of people, from fellow planners to party goes, but he keeps you by his side at all times. You can feel his gratitude for you emanating off of him, and you know how much you mean to him. Right before midnight, he steals you away to a more private area, giving you some privacy. There, he kisses you with so much love and passion it practically makes your head spin. In this one kiss alone, he conveys all of his gratitude and love for you. The rest of the night is spent partying and entertaining guests, but Diavolo makes sure you always remain is top priority.

Barbatos

Unfortunately, Barbatos does not get much of a break on New Years. Much of his time is taken up my party preparation, especially in the kitchen. However, he makes sure to keep you by his side as much as possible, giving you small tasks so that you don't feel left out. Together, the two of you knock out much of the cooking, and he makes to thank you for your contributions. During the party, he is still busy attending to guests, but he does occasionally check up on you to make sure you're enjoying yourself. As midnight approaches, Barbatos summons you to the kitchen, telling you that he needs help preparing more food. Instead, when the two of you are alone, he kisses you. It is short, but it tells you so much more than words ever could. All of his unsaid feelings wrapped up into one small kiss is perfect for someone like Barbatos. After a moment alone, he sends you back out to the party, and you spend the rest of the night stealing subtle glances across the room.

Simeon

He invites you over for some seasonal baking. Just the two of you alone in the kitchen, baking sweets to your heart's content. A small flour fight breaks out, and you know it'll be a pain to clean later, but that doesn't matter right now. All that matters is that you and Simeon are having fun and doing something you both love. Eventually, you do manage to get some cookies into the over, and you have a moment to relax and clean up the mess. It is during this moment that Simeon notices midnight is just a minute away. He comes up to you, taking your attention away from your work, and he kisses you right as the time changes to midnight. He keeps you there for what feels like an eternity, the both of you swapping kisses and basking in the moment. After what feels like simultaneously too long and not long enough, a timer breaks your focus, signalling the cookies are done. The two of you share a laugh as you tear yourselves apart to go enjoy some sweets.

Solomon

Seeing as Solomon is the only other human in the program, the two of you have to indulge in classic New Years traditions. After some light arguing over what to do, you eventually settle on a marathon of The Twilight Zone. It is enjoyable, and it feels like time is at a standstill as you let the show draw you in. Solomon is particularly enjoying this marathon, and he actively engages by attempting to figure out the twist or true message of each episode. It is entertaining to watch him come up with his elaborate theories, and it feels like no time has passed despite the clock telling you it's almost midnight. Solomon suggests that, since the two of you are already indulging in traditional New Years activities, you might as well partake in one more. With that, you share a kiss with him as the clock strikes twelve, and it is a delightful kiss indeed.

Bonus: Luke

Luke tried so hard to stay up to midnight, he really did. He even had the idea to invite you over to ensure he'd stay up. All night the two of you played games and watched movies, all in an attempt to keep Luke awake. But, eventually, his body couldn't keep itself up much longer. After all, he's still a growing angel, and he needs his sleep. He passes out just a few minutes shy of midnight, and you're honestly surprised he lasted this long. You contemplate what to do for a moment before deciding that you should bring him to bed. You scoop Luke up into your arms, careful not to jostle him awake. After putting him to bed, you check the time and see that it is now midnight. You look down at the sleeping angel before placing a gentle peck on his forehead, whispering him good night. Then, you carefully make your way across the room, turn off the lights, and make your way back home.

It had been a month or so since the brothers first started withdrawing from you. And you knew all too well why, but it didn’t stop the tears streaming down your cheeks. It was all about her. But why? What did she have that you didn’t ? Ever since she joined the devildom as the newest exchange student she’s been all the brothers seem to think about.

Want to play video games with Levi? Sorry, he’s watching an anime marathon with her. Planning to take Beel out to Hell’s Kitchen? He’s already there with her. Cuddle with Belphie? He’s laying on her lap sleeping soundly. And mammon ? Your first? Seems he’s long forgotten about the time you two have spent together, as he’s out with Satan, Lucifer and Asmo buying gifts just for her.

It’s all about her. What happened to you? What happened to their sweet, sweet mc?

So it comes spiraling down. Suddenly Mammon can’t find his razors he uses to shave, and neither can some of the other brothers. It’s the summer in devildom and you’re wearing long sleeves? What’s up with that ?

Even though the brothers have been neglecting your presence, they never forgot about you, but they’re concerned, what’s going on with you ? You haven’t been showing up to any of the meals and when they call out your name you don’t respond. Eventually Lucifer finds it in him to confront you. He knocks on your door to find that it’s open.

The sight in front of him makes his blood run cold. He’s immediately hit with the scent of blood, which he sees is coming from the bloody tissues in your trash can, and that’s when he sees your wrists. bloody and scarred. In your other hand seems to be mammon’s razor, and he finally puts all the pieces together. This was on him.

He promised to Diavolo that nothing would happen to you, not just because it was his duty , but because he loved you. How could he have been so blinded by the new student?

Immediately he snapped out of his thoughts and shook you awake “Y/N, Y/N sweet heart wake up,”. To your shock, you woke up to Lucifer shaking with tears running down his face, and pleading for your forgiveness.

You quietly said his name, and he immediately through his arms around you, profusely apologizing. He immediately yelled for his brothers, and they all felt the same thing, guilt. They all managed to stay with you while taking care of your scars.

They couldn’t look at you, out of shame that this was on them. Eventually Mammon started balling rambling out apologies, “please, please don’t do this ever again… I’m so sorry for getting caught up with the new exchange student, I love you and I can’t bear the thought of you hurting yourself.”

And with that tears surfaced your eyes, as you finally felt relieve. They were yours once again. Of course, it would take time to get back to the point that your relationship was with the brothers but you’d get there, because it was easy to tell, none of them wanted to leave your side.

Unbeknownst to you and the brothers, the exchange student seethed in anger and clenched her fists as she stared out at how they were touching you, and how you allowed it. How could you? Don’t you know the reason she tried to get them away from you is because you belong to her?

She won’t have this, and as the brothers are busy with you, she slips a little something into the dinner, making sure the brothers get a nice rest.
