"When Doves Cry" was a highlight among so many great moments in the Purple Rain Tour. It was the final song of the main part of the show before the encores. For the "Prince and The Revolution LIVE" concert video (now on DVD as part of the new "Purple Rain Deluxe Expanded Edition" set), the mirror effect was used in post-production to connect with the original music video.
