10 hours at @staggstreetstudio yesterday with producer @nurviwop, Steve McDonald behind the board, @jdpesk, The Malonettes and Mike Baird, Mike Baird, who gets the MVP award for coming in sick with the flu and playing his ass off when he should have been home in bed. I was too young to have been around for the Peter Green era of Fleetwood Mac, but in the 80s, teenage me acquired a copy of their 1980 live album, and while I loved all those classic “Rumours” tracks, the thing on that record that really stopped me in my tracks was “Oh Well.” So of course I had to go digging and find out where that came from. And that’s when I discovered the great Peter Green. This is my tribute to him, and that great song - just one of many he gave us. R.I.P.
