Arospec headcanons #7 Kitty Higham - BBC Ghosts: ace/lithro

This is an aro headcanon post so I won’t dwell on the ace aspect, but I don’t think I need to; Kitty’s curiosity around sex really seems to be from an outsider perspective and not something she has any personal investment or experience in, that’s the gist of it

Onto the important bit

Kitty loves the idea of romance and she recognises things that could be attractive in a person, at least on a surface level, but I feel like she would lose interest quickly. She seems like she’s more into the idea of romance, the stories and fantasies, but between the show and the book, she never really goes beyond brief flirting or taking a short walk with a guy that one time and it not going anywhere, romantically. She’s never even thought about actually getting into a real romantic relationship, it’s all about the idea of it. She isn’t bothered about the feelings being reciprocated, she just enjoys the pining

Tbh there’s definitely some other arospec labels I can see Kitty being but I particularly like this one

You wouldn't be wrong to believe Shelby is a docile, sweet omega. Often she is! Katherine loves doting on her too. Their sex can be as soft and gentle as it can be rough and fast.

The mistake is to assume Shelby is only a docile, submissive omega. People assume Katherine is the person to be scared of in the relationship. And she still is! But get on Shelby's bad side and she packs just as much of a punch as Katherine's axe. Then, she'll turn on the tears and innocence to pull people to her side.

She only uses it to people that deserve it - so many alphas think they can push omegas around just because, or that she shouldn't leave Katherine's side and ugh. They deserve what's coming to them.

She returns to Katherine's side with no guilt, gleefully nuzzling into her neck and enjoying her girlfriend's scent.

Kat: O nerd esquisitão. Ele cortou relações comigo quando me viu com a Irmandade pela primeira vez. Lembro até hoje do chilique que ele deu na mansão. Ele é um hipócrita. Não falo com ele tem uns dez anos. Se ele cair morto, não vou ficar muito triste.

Liam: O Rupert sempre preferiu os livros a nós. Então, sempre que estávamos juntos, ele se trancava na biblioteca e interagia pouco comigo ou com a Kat. Eu tentei me aproximar dele quando ficamos adolescentes, mas não deu muito certo. Ele tentou fazer minha cabeça pra eu escolher o amuleto, mas ficou decepcionado quando preferi a espada. Minha irmã é a única que consegue se dar bem com ele de verdade, mas eu espero que ele esteja bem.
