NM Freddy is Trypophobia (fear of holes), Freddles are Dentophobia (fear of teeth), NM Chica is Stomaphobia (fear of mouths), NM Bonnie is Necrophobia (fear of dead bodies or things associated with death), NM Foxy is Claustrophobia (fear of tight spaces) and Ommetaphobia (fear of eyes), NM Puppet is Aichmophobia (fear of sharp things) and Coulrophobia (fear of clowns), Plushtrap is Ludilophobia (fear of toys), NM BB is Automatonophobia (fear of human-like figures (or uncanny valley)), NM Fredbear and NM Springbonnie are Nyctophobia (fear of darkness) and somniphobia (fear of sleep (kinda but not rlly)), and NM Mangle is entomophobia (fear of insects (or in this case an excessive amount of legs))

so the girl with the nightgown on the bottom left is Pupa she is from the nest and Pupaphobia is the intense fear of puppets it makes sense because her end game is to be turned into one

Epistolo is the girl on the bottom right she works like Thalasso/Marisol in that she brings letters and notes to different child settlements so like a glorified postworker but the job is a lot deadlier and her power is to use ink to make different weapons and well the definition of Epistolophobia varies sometimes it is the irrational fear of knowledge and sometimes it it's a grammaphobia and means the abnormal or irrational fear of correspondence, especially the receiving or writing of letters or messages but her name can mean both meanings

the kid on the bottom of the drawing is Hemo they were trapped in the hospital and they escaped with another kid they have the power to control blood but they are scared of it hence the name meaning Hemophobia the intense fear of blood

the kid above Hemo in the middle is Thalasso I've posted them on here before but they have Aquakinesis and some other things but they don't actually have a name that they remember just a bunch of nicknames from kids they've saved the one most recognized is Thalasso but the name refers to two things Thalassophobia the fear of deep bodies of water such as the sea, oceans, pools or lakes and Thalassophile a thalassophile is someone who loves the ocean, the sea and other big bodies of water. the boy patting Thalassos head is Helio and he can control rays of sunlight his sister is the girl with the flower crown her name is Nycto and she can control shadows Helio's name refers to Heliophobia Heliophobia is a specific type of phobia characterized by an intense and irrational fear of the sun. also, Helio is Thalasso's nome friend Kelpie while Nycto is referring to Nyctophobia is an irrational or extreme fear of the dark the one with the afro is Theo/Zeuso he is from a piece of fanart of Coryxkenshin as character of a little nightmares i made a long while ago but i ended up liking the character a lot and made him into a plot character for their shenanigans the names Theo and Zeuso come from Theophobia/Zeusophobia meaning the Abnormal fear of God and the one petting Zeuso's hair is Terra or Botano they are the ones mentioned in Thalasso's OC sheet and are their rival [haha Land VS Sea] their name refers to Botanophobia, Botanophobia is a fear of plants, they can control plants and the earth [ie. rocks and dirt]

thalassophobia - fear of the ocean/deep water [i played subnautica in middle school and i still have nightmares of it every once in a while]

arachnophobia - fear of spiders [this is a big one and im even scared of small spiders]

nyctophobia - fear of the dark [likely bc of psychosis]

megalophobia - fear of large objects [its not to bad, but images/videos of extremely large objects make me uneasy for some reason]

scopophobia - fear of being stared at/eyes [i absolutely despise direct eye contact horror]

i actually drew this like within the first couple days of security breach’s release but i couldn’t think of a punchline so it got abandoned djfhjdfh

anti is full of cruelty and hatred, but he isn’t fearless.

wow, that song fits this, didn’t even realize until after lol. here’s a little doodle for a little ramble, mostly below the cut-

anti’s eyes slip open, but his pupils stay dilated in the inky darkness surrounding him. he blinks, once, twice, again, dazed and confused, before a creeping feeling trails up his spine and wraps around his still heart.

he can’t see.

he can’t see anything.

turning in circles, over and over, he slowly reaches his hands out to try to feel for anything in the void he stands in, but he doesn’t take a step in any direction, not yet, not-

when he notices his entire body trembling, he stops.

calm down! figure it out. think.

finally, once the shaking subsides, he taps his foot on the ground. in this endless darkness, he listens and waits.

the floor is flat, and cold enough for anti to feel the chill through his shoes, but not smooth like marble, more like a sidewalk after an icy day. no echoes bounce back at him, no walls or ceiling to block the tapping’s path. the cement, the emptiness - he’s not outside, is he? it’s too dark, too silent, too oppressively abysmal.

what the hell is happening to him?

panicked energy shudders through the monster’s chest, and he decides to take a step... another... another... there is no change to the atmosphere around him, yet he continues on anyway...

one more pace, and he nearly screams.

there are fingers gripped around his left ankle, pulling down from the floor.

he tries to tug away, gasping in confusion, and another hand simply stretches out for his right leg. as if it could help, he leans down to pry them off, only to feel more reaching for his shoulders and forcing him forwards. unable to stay standing, he topples. a cry of pain escapes his scarred throat as the front of his body collides with the ground, while more arms wrap around him to hold his wrists and neck.

he’s holding back tears, slamming his own head into the ground. make it stop. make it stop make it stop make it stop make it stop!

but it doesn’t end.

slowly, someone else - something else - grabs a hold of his hair, dragging him upwards by it. anti is kneeling now, mismatched eyes searching frantically for whoever stands in front of him.

a thumb traces across his cheekbone, gentle and careful, and the clutch on his hair loosens.

“w-what is this?” anti relents, finally breaking down into sobs. “what.. why are you…”

the stranger runs their fingertips down anti’s face, trailing along his jaw and lifting his chin.

as they speak, the voice is fond yet unrecognizable, like a hum over the radio, lost in the static and distance.

oh, little one. it’s been so long since you’ve visited. don’t you know this is your home?

anti suddenly can’t speak.

can’t move.

the hands pull him into the ground.

he wakes up in chase’s body, tears streaming down as the alarm screeches beside his puppet’s bed. immediately, anti closes his eyes and lets his consciousness and control return to his own apartment, his own body, his own flesh and bone, where he can pace back and forth until every bit of terror has left him.

for now, possession can wait. he doesn’t want to sleep again, doesn’t want to dream again, doesn’t want to go back there.

he can’t.

What Do You See In The Dark?

Everyone knows the feeling. Some better than others.  Some often, some rarely.  But it affects us all.  We try to deny it of course.  To pretend we’re the one, the person who’s never been to that place, who goes through life fully confident, unfazed and unaffected.

Still...

We know.

It’s the heavy darkness at the end of the hall.  The eyes that watch from the shadows, lurk in every crack and alley that you pass.   The sound, noiseless in the silence but impossible to ignore.  A creak from the floor. The scrape of the clock hands as they tick past midnight.  The nagging itching sensation, insisting beyond all reason that-

You’re not alone.

There’s movement at the corner of your eye.  Strange, unexplained shapes in the shadows.  It’s there again. Getting closer.  Breath on your neck, hands reaching out in the dark to grab, snatch, drag...

It’s in your blind spot. In the 40% of the world that you can’t see, right over your spine, where you’re vulnerable.  

Turn around.  

Don’t.  

You start glancing over your shoulder.  Turning at random moments.  Checking empty rooms before you go inside.  Seeking out company, light, noise, people... anything to keep it away, make it so that you’re never alone, so that someone, anyone can see it.  Trying, trying, trying...

But there’s nothing there. There was never anything there.  

It’s all in your head. Only in your head.

Always in your head.

And if it’s in your head...

Well,

Then it’s already won.

So, like,,, two months back or some shit I designed some funky mouths for Auric and baby Hornet because I thought it would be pretty neat. Then, a friend suggested that I should draw Auri struggling to eat corn on the cob and I created it immediately.
