THINGS. I shall list them for better reading purposes:
THE UNIFORMS ALL THOSE POCKETS
Hoshi becoming more confident
Malcolm becoming more open and mischievous
the bridge crew plus Phlox
The NX-01
Malcolm teasing Hoshi about frostbite in a deleted scene
pineapple (you *know* Malcolm eats pineapple on pizza, don't try and convince me of anything different)
Malcolm eating ALL THE THINGS
Silent Enemy and the engineering/armoury teams installing phase cannons to show up Jupiter Station
Sleeping Dogs and Malcolm's heart eyes when Hoshi wants to blow up all the torpedoes at once
Marauders (Sniper Reed & Badass Hoshi) with Hoshi making Malcolm proud when she shows off her phase rifle skills
Vox Sola and the banter between Rostov and Kelly (my rarepair)
Shockwave 2 and Malcolm taking a beating to save the ship
T'Pol & Trip's banter
Sunshine Travis & his friendship with Malcolm
Trip & Malcolm's friendship
Actually the bridge crew's friendships as a whole
Hoshi catching the Pyrithian Bat
Malcolm imitating Trip's accent
Phlox and his menagerie and how he tortures Malcolm with his creatures to heal him
Babel One/United/The Aenar, Affliction/Divergence and yes, Demons/Terra Prime (they got theirs)
the gym scenes
The NX-02 and Erica Hernandez and THAT WARP SCENE with Trip and Malcolm
Hoshi kicking ass when training with the MACOs
Malcolm & Hayes brawl
Dead Stop, The Breach, Similitude, E2, The Catwalk, Doctor's Orders, Proving Ground
I would say Chosen Realm but it fills me with blind rage for 2/3 of the episode so maybe just the end of that one
T'Pol and Hoshi forming a friendship after early antagonism
Hoshi defending Phlox
Hoshi slyly teasing T'Pol about Trip
Malcolm & Travis defending Phlox
Shran being Shran. Even when he's being a total little asshole.
Shran roasting Archer virtually every time they meet
The Kumari
Faith of the Heart
shut up I like it
The end title music
This is not everything but I should probably stop now
Your turn. Help me look like less of a weirdo!

Can I ask you what you think of this?
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/article/2024/jul/02/google-ai-emissions
https://www.npr.org/2024/09/20/nx-s1-5120581/three-mile-island-nuclear-power-plant-microsoft-ai
https://x.com/tsarnick/status/1842401670225125539?s=46
I’ve been reading a lot lately on how energy consuming ai actually isn’t, but then I see stuff like this and I get confused?
the two real sources that you've linked are using topical headlines for clicks--you will note that they both actually only describe power usage of datacenters. the percentage of any given datacenter that is used for AI is not publicly divulged but sources from google suggested a while ago that it's 10% or so. if you snapped your fingers and made LLM technology disappear overnight, microsoft and google would still be constantly expanding their datacenter capacity because they operate two of the biggest cloud systems in the world--there is a very misleading trick in these headlines where they say 'microsoft uses one morbillion kwh to power AI' and then you read it and they're just opening a datacenter.
now you might argue that constantly opening datacenters with huge power costs is still not good regardless of why, but that's a symptom of an economic system that demands endlessly climbing growth and profits, not of AI being scary and evil. if nobody had ever invented LLMs these tech companies would still be trying to make crypto or the metaverse happen and if nobody had invented those things they'd be making up some new solution in search of a problem to sell to anyone gullible enough to buy it--hell, they'd probably still be on Google Glass.
the last thing you linked is the CEO of google talking--& do you think perhaps there might be a vested interested for the CEO of a company who's put billions into LLMs to spread the message that the demand for LLMs is going to stay high and keep climbing forever and ever? not worth taking any more seriously than when elon musk says ai is going to make ready player one real or whatever

Nutrek has a received a lot of criticism but you have to admit the newer shows have done a much better job of showing more female characters, a wider range of female characters, and more women in leadership. And I’d say more positive women in leadership. We saw a lot of antagonist female admirals in the 90’s. If I had made this poll in 2005, most of the options would be characters we only saw for an episode, or brief scenes.
1. Philippa Georgiou
2. Michael Burnam

What’re your most rewatched ENT episodes? What about your most rewatched Stargate episodes? (And do you think those have anything in common, like similar plotlines or similar themes?)
Oooh, now that's something I hadn't ever considered. Let me see.
By now you should know that I don't do anything by half measures. So I managed to cull my list down from over 200 to 79 of my most-replayed episodes (and this does not mean they are the highest-rated or best, just what I rewatch regularly, sometimes for certain scenes only, sometimes because they're good in the background). I went for both SG-1 and Atlantis as they both overlap with Enterprise in air-dates (The Storm overlaps with Babel One and Unending in timing, for one, and now I feel really ancient since SGA is 20 years old and the others are way older).
Green shows my go-to, will always rewatch these when I need something on. The other colours don't really matter for the purposes of this ask.
Most of these are quite action- or humour-heavy. Hathor and Bound are very much "the guys get brainwashed by pheromones" though I find the women of the SGC far more capable than Enterprise's in taking back their base (knocking out several men to do so, partly out of frustration and partly to stop being attacked themselves). There's also the issue of consent and what happened to Daniel, though that's kind of sidelined.
Friendship and found family are big, big drawcards, and there are several excellent episodes across all three series that highlight this, which is what I love most of all in my shows. Fighting back against a takeover makes an appearance across all three, too, which makes Foothold, Prometheus, the Storm arc, and Midway so enticing in Stargate; and Shockwave, The Catwalk, and Chosen Realm (okay, the second half, as the first half makes my blood boil) in Enterprise.
On the whole, I'd say most of these episodes either show the crew/team/individuals kicking ass and taking names, or facing natural disasters (especially Inferno), alien threats, or war time. I also love individuals showing their true natures and growth (hence both versions of Proving Ground, Death Knell - Samantha Carter is an absolute badass in this one - Sleeping Dogs, the Romulan/Andorian arc, Malcolm's Section 31 arc, Rodney's sister episodes (David Hewlett and his sister bring their true sibling dynamics to both).
And then humour, of course. John Billingsley is a hoot in The Other Guys and Bound (and I love Phlox in all the Enterprise episodes, natch), and then Rodney's performance in Duet and Harmony makes my day. And Window of Opportunity, Wormhole X-Treme and 200 are among the very best of SG-1's line-up.
I am a big fan of (space)ships, hence my love of episodes introducing these (aside from the NX-01 and NX-02, naturally). Thor's Chariot introduces us to the sexy beast that is a Biliskner-class Asgard warship, with Earth's Prometheus making two appearances; in Enterprise's Proving Ground we see the Kumari Andorian warship (and then again in Babel One, getting the living hell blown out of it, sadly); and in SGA, an Aurora-class battle cruiser in Inferno (not to mention the Daedelus showing up in The Siege).
I love Marauders because it shows Malcolm in his element, being an actual tactician and playing with his big guns; while Hoshi shows how all that training he gave her made her a crack shot; even if the whole Klingon storyline doesn't do much for me.
Vox Sola introduces my rarepair and I dig it for Hoshi and T'Pol's interactions (also in Sleeping Dogs, plus Hoshi insisting on using all the torpedoes). For me that's very much a Death Knell and Upgrade kind of situation - and Foothold, go Sam yet again! - for SG-1. And then Elizabeth and John facing off in The Long Goodbye - the diplomat against the military leader? Yes, please. Plus, the kiss!
I have Exile in there even though I hate the stupid nightgown-wearing what the hell because it's such a Hoshi-Malcolm-centric episode, right down to Tarquin using an avatar that looks very much like Malcolm - short, dark-haired, light-eyed. I imagine Hoshi feels safe around Malcolm so Tarquin uses that look as part of his stratagem to trick her into feeling at ease. And also because Hoshi shows just how tough she actually is when her people are threatened.
This is already way too long an answer, or I'd go through every episode, but as you can see, several of them cross over in themes, across all three series, and it depends on what I'm looking for at the time.
Thanks for the ask!

A Whovian Watches Star Trek for the First Time: Part 072 - The Ship that Waited
Star Trek: Enterprise - Season 3 Episode 21 - E²
Somewhat unusually we open with some old Vulcan Woman. Apparently, another 7 million people are dead, and this Vulcan needs to find Archer. What is happening?
After the intro, we cut to T'Pol on Enterprise, and Trip is stopping by for Neuropreasure, but because of T'Pol's heightened emotional state, she's reluctant to spend time with him. Apparently she hasn't left her quarters unless she's on duty.
Really really strangely, Enterprise encounters another Starfleet NX class ship. It can't be the NX-02, because it's still under construction, and then, the name of the ship comes on Screen: It's another Enterprise.
The crew of this second enterprise, captained by a Vulcan warns them that they'll be thrown back in time if they travel forwards. A perfectly reasonable explanation for how this has all come about, even if the attempt to stop it happening transgresses the First Law of Time.
Apparently the Lorian's Enterprise has ways to modify Archer's Enterprise to reach speeds as high as Warp 6.9, which definitely gonna be helpful! Archer and T'Pol don't believe Lorian however, so they got o Phlox to check DNA and apparently Lorian is Trip and T'Pol's child, which is a bit of a huge reveal!
Lorian got a nice scene with Trip. Apparently Lorian's Enterprise's Trip died when he was young, and the scene is kinda sad. Archer also got to spend time with his great granddaughter, and even with a much older T'Pol.
Lorian is an absolutely amazing character. He's sort of a reflection of the path Archer started going down in Damage. Just like Archer there, he's filling to sabotage Archer's Enterprise in the name of his mission, and justifies it with "We have no other option". Hopefully, this serves as a wake up call for Archer.
A firefight between both enterprise ensues, and Archer's solution of Transporting Lorian's Enterprise's key components onto our own enterprise was a genius way of getting around their equal firepower.
Lorian's Enterprise's sacrifice at the end, to keep fire off of Archer's enterprise was a really touching ending, and redemption for his character. I hope this isn't the end for him, but it seems like he either went down or it's mission erased itself from history. I would make a Faction Paradox reference, but not even most Whovians would understand that.
This episode was really good. Both crews interactions with eachother were brilliant, and the premise of this episode was a very creative way of furthering Trip and T'Pol's relationship. This episode feels a lot like Eleventh Doctor episode "The Girl Who Waited", just with less tragedy to it, and that is a high compliment. This was a really good episode.

Taylor Swift’s economic impact
December 6, 2024 Taylor Swift’s worldwide “Eras” tour has grossed more than a billion dollars since it began in March 2023, boosting hotel stays, restaurant visits and Swifty tourism on five continents. As the tour comes to an end this Sunday in Vancouver, British Columbia, hosts Carol Hills and Carolyn Beeler look at the economic impact of Swift’s appearances on the local economies where she performed.

"What comes after the Eras Tour is anyone’s guess, but it will surely be remembered as a cultural touchstone, on par with Woodstock or Beatlemania. The political, demographic and economic conditions that made the Eras Tour a historic phenomenon will inevitably shift, but Taylor Swift and her army of Swifties have created a new template for finding joy in an often-troubling world. Even if it doesn’t translate to fundamental change."What comes after the Eras Tour is anyone’s guess, but it will surely be remembered as a cultural touchstone, on par with Woodstock or Beatlemania. ENT Rewatch Starlog, 5 May, 2024- Final Entry: Episode 4.03 “Home”
Archer and his senior staff are welcomed home where the Captain gives a speech reminding everyone of the 27 crewmembers lost in the operations to stop the Xindi.
He prepares for a board of inquiry regarding the mission while reconnecting with Erica Hernandez, former romance who is about to take command of the NX-02 Columbia.
T’Pol asks Trip if he would accompany her to Vulcan and he agrees. They arrive at T’Pol’s childhood home where she is surprised to find her mother, T’Les, at home.
T’Les informs her that she has stepped down from the Vulcan Science Academy, and is herself surprised that T’Pol has brought a colleague home. Later alone, she mentions to T’Pol that Koss, her betrothed, has been reaching out.
Reed, Mayweather, and Phlox are in a bar in San Francisco when they are accosted by humans who display ignorant prejudice against Phlox (because prejudice, xenophobia, and judging someone by race or species is ignorance and if I have to tell you that I wonder what the hell you’re doing watching Star Trek in the first place) which results in a fistfight. Phlox demonstrates an old Denobulan defensive posture inflating his face, which scares off the human dipshits. Later, when invited to the surface by Hoshi Sato, Phlox chooses to stay on Enterprise.
Ambassador Soval seems to be out to get Archer during his inquiry, specifically about the Vulcan ship that was destroyed during their Zombie-like attack. Archer loses his cool and is ordered by Admiral Forrest to take some time off. He decides to go rock climbing but is joined by Hernandez. In the course of their climb Archer begins to display the inner turmoil he’s been dealing with since his actions in the Expanse, and tells Hernandez that he wants to be away form her for reminding him of what he used to be. She offers to help him find that man again together, and they kiss.
Tucker is beginning to grow on T’Les, particularly after doing some repairs around home. Koss arrives and asks to speak to T’Pol. He reveals he will not break their betrothal, offering even to resort to the Kal-If-Ee if necessary—the fight to the death for the bride. T’Pol continues to reject him until he tells her that her mother was asked to step down from the academy because of T’Pol making enemies in the Vulcan High Command. He says his influential father could restore her status.
T’Pol takes Trip to the statues near the Vulcan Forge and tells him she will marry Koss. Later when confronted by T’Les, Tucker admits that at that moment he realized he loves T’Pol. T’Les says T’Pol should know that. Tucker remains silent however, and tells T’Pol how wonderful she looks. She steals a quick kiss, and then the marriage proceeds.
Archer completes his hearing and stays after to apologize to Soval. Soval states he has listened to T’Pol and reviewed the case. He is grateful to Archer for saving not just Earth but the Alpha Quadrant from the Expanse, and shakes his hand.
This is a very good episode giving us the closing to the Xindi storyline we needed. I know it’s beating a dead horse, but something like this I believe would have served the end of Voyager well. I especially appreciate the post-trauma reaction Archer is going through (something I have also experienced after my own service in war zones) and if I had to complain about anything in this episode it would just be that it could have used one more scene of him finding a little more reconciliation. The implication that he will be better because he doesn’t have to face it alone is great, but I think a little too much of the healing happens off screen.
Let’s however hear it for Ada Maris as Erika Hernandez (though she goes un-named here…and that’s dumb). Dispelling the old TOS line about the realm of being a Starship Captain being for men is great; I know we see her again, but it’s a shame season 5 didn’t let us see some more. I am very aware of the Beta Canon fate of the NX-02, and the evolution of her character, but would love to have some more just plain Captain Hernandez stories.
The Tri’Pol stuff here is the kind of thing that propels a thousand shippers (me too) and is so well played for the tragedy. As much as I praise Ada Maris as Hernandez, let’s also applaud Joanna Cassidy (a science fiction legend herself) as T’Les. Not only do I immediately buy her as T’Pol’s mother, but she brings a calm a subtlety to match Jolene Blalock, that was too often replaced with arrogance for Vulcans on this show. But this?
This is a knife to the heart in the best way.
The introduction of a human xenophobia is good here, and wow do I wish it were less relevant to us today. I know this will play out later in the season with Earth First movements, etc, but even when this aired, I think it said a lot about what happened in the US after September 11th with many darker skinned people being assaulted in a blanket reaction to actual terrorists (my then brother-in-law among them). I wish we’d learned more in the last 20 years, but also hope we’ll learn more by 2154. Watching the news though admittedly gives me some of Archer’s pessimism.
But this brings it to an end; I have spent the last few months rewatching and reviewing the Xindi storyline, and for the most part find it holds up pretty well, perhaps even better than I received it then. There are certainly some missteps along the way, but it has definitely reinforced my appreciation for this show as a much stronger member of the Trek family than me as a dumb-ass continuity-obsessed gate-keeper two decades back might have thought. Glad I got better, and I hope we all can, honestly. There is new Trek I love, and some I think really misses the mark, but in the end Star Trek is ALWAYS relevant, and all Star Trek speaks to someone. I can’t fault that. Gives me faith of the heart.
If you’ve read these and enjoyed them, thank you for coming along with me. If you've like to find the rest they are all tagged "enterprise rewatch" and "xindi saga" on my blog.

O evento foi anunciado oficialmente nesta segunda-feira (02), pela 30e, a turnê “I Wanna Be Tour”, que contará com a presença de nomes que marcaram o gênero pop punk: Simple Plan, A Day To Remember, The All-American Rejects, All Time Low, The Used, Asking Alexandria, NX Zero, Pitty, Boys Like Girls, Mayday Parade, Plain White T’s e Fresno.
