Hi yes hello I’m working on ch8 of goalposts rn — longer chapter starting in spring semester all from jeans perspective and goes through basically ch7 from his perspective plus after w the rest, OR do I start ch8 from jeans perspective from when Spencer leaves the locker room?

jean chapter oh my god!!!! okay okay i think whichever seems to flow more naturally to you? i’d personally start when spencer leaves the locker room and then call back to any significant previous scenes in like an inner-monologueish way BUT whatever you think would work best will probably work best!!

Yea so last night our air freyer just completely ruined my bacon wrapped dates

god I'll fully admit there are SO MANY lines that I am very proud of. However, one very little one is probably this: "Spencer froze. Drive? Me? Drive? Another person in my car? In the passenger seat?" I don't know why, but I find this line of thinking just so highly funny like duh where else would they sit Spencer??

also another line is absolutely: “I don’t know if they’re going to claw their way out, or if we’re going to be forced to watch someone collapse like a dying star. But if they call, will you answer?” this is because I love the juxtaposition of Jean and Spencer in this because Jean had those two options as well (kind of - in a way, I'd argue that it was either claw his way out with help, or be dragged along and figure it out), but also Jean has a unique perspective that he can provide Spencer that Neil/Andrew/Kevin/Nicky absolutely cannot

💕 whats your favorite part of your writing process?

honestly, most likely just kinda mulling over everything while I figure out what comes next or what to do next! I tend to write in my quiet moments at work or after work while watching a tv show, so I need time in between to ponder

okay I think my plan for the Fall Banquet is what's going well, I'm SO excited to write it esp because Spencer gets fucking Feral
