Now I'm doing the adults of TFP starting with June. Her name would be Daily Dose so that they could call her Nurse Daily, similar to Nurse Darby. Her cutie mark is a calender with a medical plus on it becuase of her strict routines and schedules. Her name being Daily is meant to compliment Jack's name being Knight Light. Also I wanted her medical plus to be similar to Jack's cause cutie marks in the same family are often similar. Had to include it as a patch on her scrubs. I made her a unicorn and Jack a pegasus because of her overprotective tendencies (her son ended up joining an intergalactic alien war, so maybe she was right), Jack being able to fly where she can't reach him is a huge worry for her.

OKAY, after rewatching Teen Wolf after like 10 years, and being as obsessed as I am with Transformers Prime, it's come to my attention just how wildly similar these four characters' relationships and situations are,,, and I LOVE it
This has to be one of my fav parent/child dynamics, next to "man worn down by the world accidently adopts a girl and becomes their dad" trope- aka Joel/Ellie - aka Lee/Clementine. Bonus points if the dad dies horribly.
But onto the point-
We have Melissa McCall- a divorced single mom, raising a teenage son in high-school, who is a hardworking, overworked nurse struggling to make ends meet at home.
And we have June Darby- a divorced single mom, raising a teenage son in high-school, who is a hardworking, overworked nurse struggling to make ends meet at home.
Both remain in the dark about what their sons are truly involved in, and worry about their recent behavior.
NOW, the sons.
Scott McCall- an awkward teenage boy with an average life who works a part-time job to help cover the bills at home.
Jack Darby- an awkward teenage boy with an average life who works a part-time job to help cover the bills at home.
(They also both have crushes on a girl at school that they want to impress- but unlike Sierra, Allison is actually a part of the main cast and plotline)
Both of their lives are overturned when accidentally encountering something extraordinary, and it changes them forever.
For Scott, it was being turned into a werewolf, becoming part of this secret world, and finding out who he is and rising to something he never thought possible. He becomes a leader and a True Alpha.
For Jack it was discovering an alien race marooned on Earth fighting an age-old war, becoming part of this secret world and finding out who he is and rising to something he never thought possible.
He becomes a protector and an Honorary Prime.
Both Melissa and June are introduced to the main events of the show by being put in danger and being saved by their sons. Of course they don't react to everything well at first, scared and afraid for their kids' safety, but eventually coming to terms with the importance of the roles their sons now play, supporting them and becoming healers for the teams.
The relationships between the moms and sons only grow stronger, and the love they have for each-other is always present on screen, even in times when they are at odds with each-other in difficult situations.
I just think this is so sweet. I feel like typically with shows about teenagers and crazy drama, they're fighting with their parents and don't get along at all. But Melissa and June are such great mom characters, and Scott and Jack have close bonds with them.
When Team Prime was in hiding, Jack breaks down and calls his mom, despite knowing how dangerous it would be to open that line of communication cus of the Cons hunting them. Miko and Raf didn't even consider calling their families during that time to let them know they were alive after disappearing.
Obviously, Teen Wolf had way more seasons and time to flesh out their relationships, while TFP didn't, which is a big shame. There was still so much untapped potential for TFP- especially for the humans, before it was canned.
Scott got to reunite with his estranged father (who is funnily named Rafael), and there was a lot of strife there, but eventually the trust was rebuilt between them.
I would've loved a family arc with the Darbys! The only time Jack's father is mentioned is in that one ep with June and Fowler dealing with Knock Out- and BOY I would've liked to see more of that explored upon.
Also another funny comparison I'm just now realizing...
Melissa was friends with a law enforcement character- Sheriff Stilinski, who both got involved with the supernatural elements of the show. And June became friends with a law enforcement character- William Fowler, after being exposed to the Cybertronian War. Both of these guys are awesome and loveable too. Fowler is rough around the edges, but he's easily one of the best human ally characters ever in TF.
Idk,,, i just think this comparison is neat and I had to talk about it. Jack is my favorite of the Trio kids, and anytime I can yap about him in any interesting way, I gotta!

heyyyyy for the oc ask you reblogged. all good if you don't wanna answer (i know you don't wanna spoil stuff) (and obviously it's ur post so you don't have to LOL)
Norie: betrayal: Has your OC ever been betrayed by someone they thought they could trust? Has your OC ever betrayed someone who trusted them?
Bailey: break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?
Zeta: desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?
Ale Oats: hate: What does your OC hate? Why? How do they act towards the object of their hatred?
and... Rin: heartbreak: Have they ever had a relationship that ended badly? Experienced some other kind of heartbreak? What happened?
Also do Natia and Darby get along? They're the same age so they'd share some classes, right (depending on how big the school is)? Idk don't have to answer I just like knowing character's relationships lol
ajshdhkakhkdak woag. many questions! i'll answer as much as i can say atm but sorry if some stuff is vague</3
Norie: norie has been both on the receiving end of betrayal AND been a betrayer. to whom and from whom i will not speak about at this time but yes both have happened to her.
Bailey: bailey has horrible anxiety due to a past experience she has had so she tends to seem on the verge of breaking down. her one means of security is her sister, natalie, and her parents and anything that would come to hurt them would definitely cause her to break. natalie has seen her at a few low points and is aware of how bad things get for her but always tries to distract her from her bad thoughts and brave dangers.
Zeta: zeta's desire is to be loved and protect those he loves, really. he's not super open about his intentions but through his actions, it's clear he wants acceptance and to be cared about and to hold onto that too. he also did want to pursue a career as an artist as well but due to some circumstances in the story, that isn't exactly feasible.
Ale: hatred for ale is something she kind of expresses often. she's kinda bitter and sassy about a lot of things in the world around her that she dislikes before she learns to be less hateful. one thing she really dislikes though is anyone who tries to steal her amulet from her and also losing to someone else. when it comes to games, she's kind of a games master and tends to beat anyone and anything at boardgames BUT chess is the one game she hates more than anything. if she sees a chess board she will feel the urge to flip it
Rin: rin has experienced heartbreak! sometimes it's been in the form of friends leaving, or someone she held dear passing away (happened to some of her patients before and is part of her drive to help people) she tries not to dwell on the sad stuff too much but if she's asked about it, she will probably end up spilling her feelings a bit and tell you stories about them!
and in regards to darby and natia, they do go to the same school and even work at the same cafe part time. they are both 14 and the labor laws of the island they live on allow them to work at that age for a couple hours a week. they tend to be very friendly acquaintances and develop into closer friends in the story too. :) sometimes they spend time at the skate park together too.

Here me out, what if the Nakadai family was something similar to Tatsu and Miku from The Way of the Househusband?
It goes a long way on explaining why Miko the way she is.
We know Jack's mom June is a strong-willed woman while Raf's mom is a bit of a force of nature, but God only knows what Miko's mother will have been like had she been introduced into the series and what she's capable of.

Dirty Mirror
M.E.C.H tries a new method of torture on you. The lasting effects shatter bonds previously made. Can Optimus repair the damages before he loses you forever?
Chapter One - Lost and Found
Word Count - 1210
Tumblr media
-image not mine-
Chapter Two - Holding Tight
The warehouse doors were slammed open, almost ripped off the hinges at the leader’s force. He scanned the dimly lit hanger with rage, fists aching to hurt the humans responsibly for this.
The place, however, was empty.
Optimus knew it would be; the team had seen M.E.C.H hightailing it as soon as they made it through the bridge. But those humans weren’t the reason he burst into the M.E.C.H base.
No, the reason lay in the center of the room, on their side and barely breathing.
Optimus hurried to your side, mouth guard dropping and optics switching to concern.
Your forehead was leaking blood, which formed a small puddle of crimson liquid that soaked your hair. Various parts of your exposed legs and arms were a deep purple, and Optimus had learned that purple on human body wasn’t a good sign.
You needed to be taken back to base and examined by June, now. But was it safe to move you? Would picking you up cause more damage? And why was your breathing so shallow? You didn’t even breathe that weakly when you slept so why now?
“Optimus come on!” Smokescreen called from the hanger entrance, having been placed on lookout.
The young bot was right, Optimus didn’t have time to worry if moving your body was the correct thing to do. You needed help, and picking you up was the only way to get it.
Gently rolling your limp body onto his servo, he cradled you close to his chestplates as he began speed-walking toward the awaiting groundbridge. Once through, he ignored all questions and made his way over to the human gurney, trying to move you as little as possible when he set you down.
June was by your side in an instant, and what she did next made the Prime’s spark drop. The nurse moved quickly to cut open your shirt, revealing your chest and stomach. She gasped, paling as she leapt backward and brought her hands to cover her mouth.
“Nurse Darby?” Ratchet asked, moving to stand over you, but he froze to.
Rings of dark circles wrapped around your front, looking eerily similar to large servo prints that had pressed too hard into your skin.
“We need to get her to the hospital.” June whispered, her voice shaking.
“She was just kidnapped by humans. I am not allowing her to leave this base.” Ratchet argued.
“If I don’t get her to a hospital within the next 10 minutes then she won’t leave this base alive!” June yelled, turning to face the Cybertronian medic.
The two continued to argue but Optimus drowned their conversation out, instead watching you in fear.
Yes, he was scared. Scared because this was the first time he has ever seen you look so frail, so lifeless. You had gotten hurt and it was his fault. He’d let you leave his sights and you’d been kidnapped. You’d been tortured by the vile humans he’d sworn to protect. He was to blame for your state.
Optimus blinked. Why did his servo hurt? Turning to look at said appendage, he was surprised to see it balled into a fist and indented in the wall beside him. Turning his gaze to the others, he saw them looking at him in varying degrees of surprise.
A soft grunt was heard a moment later and all eyes of the base turned to you. You were waking up, face turning into a frown before squinting your eyes open.
Blinking a few times, you turned your head to the side and froze.
Your eyes moved slowly, taking in every inch of Optimus until your eyes met his. Then, you scrambled to get off the gurney, landing harshly on your side.
Optimus flinched at the impact, extending a hand to reach you.
Your scream stopped him. You looked up at the Prime with wide eyes, tears falling as you tried to scramble backward, slipping in and out of consciousness as you did.
“Little One,” Optimus started, moving toward you again.
“No! Please!” You curled into a ball, entire body shaking like a leaf as small whimpers escaping your lips.
Optimus was confused. Why were you scared of him? Why did you cower away as if he intended to hurt you? He had never done something like that before.
You raised your head cautiously and looked up at him. This expression was new to Optimus.
It wasn’t reservation or unease like he was used to when meeting humans for the first time, this was deep rooted terror.
Your bottom lip trembled, shivering so much your body actually shifted backward. “Please…” It was so weak, broken.
How had those monsters reduced someone as strong as you into a terrified little girl? And why did he, your guardian, seem to be the trigger?
Jack recovered first of everyone in the base, moving slowly to kneel beside you.
“It’s ok Y/n. He’s not gonna hurt you.”
Your eyes never left Optimus’ desperate ones, still trying to scramble backward and shaking uncontrollably. Then, you turned your head to the side and emptied your stomach.
Jack moved to pull your hair out of your face, his other arm wrapping around your middle to help hold you up. You blacked out a moment later and stayed asleep.
June moved quickly with her son, carrying you to her car and laying you in the backseat. Jack took the wheel while she sat shotgun, twisting in her seat to start tending to you as Jack raced out the base.
Optimus’ legs buckled and he dropped to his knees. Looking down at his servo, he saw where your blood had smeared across him while he carried you. His optics dropped to the floor, where a trail of the liquid followed your scrambling. The crimson life-source made up a large portion of what forcefully left your body moments before.
He needed to make sure you were ok.
Transforming without a word to the rest, he left the base and began the drive into town, praying to Primus you would come back to him.

Transformers All-Sparks: The Main Humans of the AU.
Tumblr media
The central humans of my AU. Though waaaay ahead in the future chronologically speaking from when the Autobot vs Decepticon civil war actually begins, I still feel appropriate to share... plus a hint of what also crossovers with this AU.
Much like how on Cybertron this AU is a family drama inolving the Paxes and Carcers, the human side is of two families connected by two lovers...
With the added bonus of two agents stuck with each other and keeping an eye on a certain former G.I. Joe.
Jack Darby is a typical high school boy who is unsure of his future and has his soul thoroughly sucked out by the horror of the almighty KO Burger. He loves his mom, and his girlfriend (who most people consider wayyyyy out of his league) Sierra brightens his day. Though he doesn't lookit at first, he's quick thinking and resourceful. A natural survivor.
Sierra O'Hara is the most popular girl in school, has good grades and the local cheer captain. Though at times she can be sean as a 'mean girl', it's a defense mechanism, as she's not the most trusting person. Those who DO earn her trust and friendship find a completely different person. Curious and excitable.
She has a deep interest in chemistry and engineering, and feels at home in a fast car or riding (and working on) motorbikes. For whatever reason, she feels a connection with anything equipped with an engine.
Agent Simmons and Agent Fowler are the local secret agents. One is a member of a mysterious org known as Sector 7, and the other a liason between several government agencies. It is their job to keep an eye on one Shana O'Hara, the local baseball coach. She IS after all, Scarlett, one of the best of the best among the now mostly retired Joes. Unfortunately for them, she prefers to live a peaceful life as a civvie, thank you very much.
June Darby is a close friend of Shana and helped the retired vet get the hang of life in Jasper, Nevada. She's just a concerned mom who's worried about her son's future. She's a nurse, and knows all about how life is a precious thing, and wants her son to have a long and fulfilling one.

Susan and Ironhide: Meetings and Cars
part 3 of Susan and Ironhide
SFW, Platonic, Angst, Mention of injury, Human reader
TFP
“And there. All wrapped up.”
Susan tried to touch the new bandages on her temple but was promptly swatted by Nurse Darby.
“No touching, you can mess it up or get it infected.”
Susan gave her a lopsided smile and a thumbs up.
“Thanks Ms. Darby!”
June smiled softly at the teen girl, silently wondering what did Jack or Miko saw in her. The nurse had met some questionable people (and bots) in her days, but Susan didn’t seem to be like the person to do something bad. The aforementioned Ironhide was currently patting the back of the young scout who was whirling and chirping happily.
The newcomer’s entrance was a bit… eventful.
Mainly with Ironhide transforming in the middle of the base, yelling for someone to get a medkit, while holding a slightly bloodied dazed Susan. The bots were surprised with the arrival of the missing mech, but June just saw a hurt girl gripping to the mechs digits to dear life.
After cleaning and disinfecting the wound on the girl’s head, June was surprised to hear that this was the ‘evil’ Susan Farmfield. The same Susan Miko had gone on and on about being the team’s newest enemy. The same person who wanted to expose the bots secret to the entire world for her ‘secret plans to take over the world’. The single mother couldn’t see the smiling, dazed girl hurting a fly.
Despite the initial injuries, Susan was positively beaming at the Prime as he began his introduction speech. Sure, Ironhide already gave her the run down, but there was something the way Optimus had with talking had Susan grasping at every word. She didn’t notice Ironhide leaning a bit down to June’s level.
“Is she okay? There was a lotta blood comin’ out.”
Susan hoped off the human sized stretcher, stumbled a bit, before standing proudly.
“I’m good! See!”
Ironhide had a bit of a frown as his digit ghostly touched the bandages, venting a bit in relief before addressing June.
“Thank you ma’am.”
June smiled.
“No problem, but next time try to avoid jumping out of moving cars.”
Susan sheepishly chuckled.
“Didn’t have much of a choice Ms. Darby. It was either that, or let Knockout take me to Megatron.”
June shuddered a bit at the mention of the name of the Leader of the Decepticons.
A hand appeared on Susan’s shoulder, turning to see a new person. The man had a bit of a frown on his face and started guiding her to a nearby room.
“Now hold on a second there.”
The green mech, Bulkhead if Susan recalled, stopped Ironhide in his track.
“Easy Hide, it’s just Fowler. He’s not going to do anything to her. Probably ask a few questions.”
Susan passed him a reassuring smile, but for who that smile was for she couldn’t tell you. The girl soon disappeared into the room with the man.
Ironhide felt a bit uneasy not being able to see where his friend was given the day they all just had. He turned around to face Optimus and the others.
“Speaking of questions, I have a few of ma own.”
Optimus nodded.
“Ask old friend. What is on your mind?”
Ironhide made eye contact with Bulkhead. Something in his optics glistened dangerously.
“Starting with you Bulk. What exactly did ya mean when ya said, and I quote, ‘can we just leave her’!?”
This outburst surprised most of the team. They had seen Ironhide get worked up, but never this quickly. Bulkhead responded.
“You don’t know her Hide. She’s—”
“Our enemy!”
Ironhide’s gaze shifted to the other human girl.
“Your what?”
“She’s, our enemy! She’s been trying to expose the team for months and keeps on trying to find relics to do experiments on. We’re lucky enough to stomp on her plans before they get out of control.”
Ironhide blinked a few times.
“…Are ya sure you aren’t talking about anotha Susan?”
“Did she brainwash you?”
Spunk. Ironhide had to give the kid that.
“Suzzy didn’t brainwash me kid. And whaddya mean by experimenting?” The red mech turned to the other bots. “Some more context would be greatly appreciated.”
The mini interrogation was something Susan half expected once Agent Fowler introduced himself. She was not expecting some of the dramatic things the others had accused her of doing. Yes, she fessed up about the website and looking for aliens, but never for harmful reasons. Susan just wanted to know if there was life out there and wanted to show the world. Her grandfather’s dream that was passed down to her, another fellow dreamer. A dream that brought a lot of loneliness, until Ironhide came along. For the first time Susan had a genuine friend who cared for her. A friend whose life was at risk because of her dream. Susan would not let that threat hang over her friend’s head.
As angry as she felt about the others spreading these dramatic rumors about her, a small part had forgiven them. They were, in a way, doing the same thing she was, protecting their friends… though the comments were unnecessary…
Fowler could easily tell that the rumors hurt the girl more than what she was letting on. To be honest, he couldn’t see this as the ‘evil Susan’ Miko had been talking about. That girl did know how to put in the dramatics into her stories.
“Its just a bit hard to understand why they told everyone that. Oh, that probably why they were looking at me like I ran over animals for fun!” Susan groaned as she hid her face in her hands.
“I figured that Miko might have been over doing some of the stories.”
Then the room shook violently.
THUD!
Both Fowler and Susan had been thrown from their chairs from the earthshaking movement.
“What in the Sam Hill…” Susan looked over at him.
“Maybe it was an earthquake?”
“SAY THAT AGAIN I DARE YOU!”
Susan tensed up at the familiar yelling.
“Defiantly not an earthquake.”
Both humans immediately stood up and went to the door to see what had happened. It turned out Ironhide was about to have some sort of fight with Bulkhead leading to a lob flying over into the human area.
Without thinking twice, Susan ran over to the group to see if they were okay.
“You okay guys?”
Jack, June and Raf nodded while Miko just huffed.
“Wait where Mrs. Darby?”
“My mom left a few minutes after you went in. Something about an emergency at work.” Jack’s response calmed her nerves a bit. Susan got to the guard rail and whistled loudly getting the bots attention.
“HEY! Who threw that! Some of us could have gotten hurt!”
Miko piped up behind her.
“And why do you care?”
Susan gave the girl a neutral look while crossing her arms.
“I care if my friends get hurt, now whether they like to think of me as a friend is a different story.”
The girls stood in silence glaring at each other.
Someone grunting brought them back to reality.
The bots were staring at them both, Susan couldn’t read their expressions. A wave of embarrassment washed over her as soon as she saw Ironhide. This was not how she thought tonight would go down.
“I umm… I—”
Miko groaned at her lack of speech.
Susan felt downright ashamed for the presentation and just looked down.
“Well, that was something. Hey Miko, are you sure this is the evil human that you mentioned?” The white one, Smokescreen, chimed.
Susan again ignored the pain the insult did. Ironhide didn’t.
“Yes, Miko, tell us if this is tha person you’ve been talkin’ about to the team.”
“Ironhide—”
“No. That’s enough outta you Bulk, I need to hear this for myself.”
Ironhide walked over to the railing, but Susan quickly got in between Miko and Ironhide. She already brought enough trouble here already; she was not going to let it fester with her being here.
“If you all don’t mind, I think its time for me to leave.” Turning to Ratchet and continuing.
“I understand that you have an operational groundbrigde, you can just drop me off outside the town limits.”
Susan tensed hearing Miko saying ‘Finally’.
She looked over to Optimus with slight pleading eyes. “Please?”
The Prime took a couple seconds before getting Ratchet to ready the groundbrigde as Susan got down to the main floor. She noticed Ironhide was starting to follow her.
“Wait, wait, wait Hide. I can just walk home.”
Ironhide was a bit surprised by the comment.
“In the dark? Not a chance.”
“I’ll be fine. Plus, you have a lot of catching up to do with your team. You mentioned how much you wanted to talk to them, just talk away.”
“Susan!”
“Ironhide!”
Both bot and human were at a standstill, both not wanting to budge.
Susan’s eyes glistened a bit before Ironhide vented in defeat.
“Fine, but if you need me, I’ll be here.”
Susan nodded before turning and walking into the portal. The cool breeze of the night gently passed through as the girl walked out of the portal. Said portal that disappeared as soon as her foot left it and made contact with the rocky sand. The girl’s legs wobbled as some bile crept up her throat.
Note to self, don’t eat a heavy lunch before going through a groundbrigde.
It took a few minutes for her to recover from her lunch attack before looking at the town. Little lights twinkled a bit and grew a bit bigger with every step. Maybe she should have let Ironhide drive her home.
Ironhide…
Her vision started getting blurry thinking about the old mech. That was probably the last time she was going to see the mech. There was no way she could go back there without causing drama in the ranks. The others were probably going to convince him that she was some low life villain, there were enough bots there to convince him anyways. Not to mention that there was a war he had to worry about. Ironhide wasn’t going to have any time to see her.
Her friend…
Her dear friend…
Her only friend…
Her knee buckled a bit before tripping over a rock and falling on her face.
That was the last straw on the camel’s back.
Susan pulled her knees to her chest and began to sob. The tears and sand didn’t help with her depressing mood. Today had just been too much for Susan. As much as she would have liked to change today’s events, she knew that it was probably for the best.
That’s what hurt the most.
It was time to start accepting she wasn’t going to ever see him again. If staying away meant that Ironhide could finish his war and reconnect with his family, she’d stay away. Its not like anyone cared to stick around long with Susan Farmfield anyways.
She didn’t know how much time had passed before the sound of a car pulling up got her attention. The girl expected to see the old red truck, maybe a last goodbye in private. Instead she was faced with a blue, and grey car. A bulkier model too, not too uncommon to see around the town. A small Decepticon insignia caught her eye under the moonlight. Susan just stared in horror as the mech transforming right before her.
Her body screamed to run, but the combination of her blurry vision and pounding head made her movements sluggish. Next thing she knew, Susan was in the blue mechs servos. Her reflection shining bright in the Con’s optics.
“… Hello. Who are you?”
“Someone trying to settle a score, Fleshy.”

Hello can I request a Yan!auto bots x Gn!injured! Autobot Reader? Thank u
Here you are Anon! Enjoy!
✧ Worry not ✧ | Tfp Yan!Autobots x Gn!Injured!Autobot!Reader
✹ You were one of the first Autobots to arrive on Earth, after Arcee and Cliffjumper
✹ You have experience, but prefer to stay in shadows about your performance
✹ You got along with the team well, though you didn't know their darkest secret - they were insanely found of you
✹ For now it was subtile, doing little things to please you, giving you a longer break from patrols, bothering you with questions more
✹ That is until you return from the direct fight with Megatron, not expecting him to be in one of the mines you were raiding
✹ He nearly ripped off your stabilizers, if it weren't for Optimus showing up, you don't know how you would end up like
✹ After that the team decided to limit your time away from them, not wanting to lose you to a maybe more severe accident
✹ At first it was not noticeable, but with time you saw that you instead spent more time talking with Jack, Miko, Raf and even with nurse Darby and Agent Fowler
✹ After the revival of the your home planet, nearly all of your former teammates were gone, but their ways still remained
✹ Noticing the way they treated you, you have decided to join Ratchet on Earth, hoping that he would be the most normal from the rest
✹ Though your joys are short lived when you are not allowed to leave his side even for a click
✹ You can hope that you will find a way to return to Cybertron and not run into the past, wanting a peaceful life that the war ended
✹ That quickly changes when you run into Bumblebee and his new formed team on Earth

WAIT WAIT TFP Megatron orchestrated a plague before!!! Imagine his disbelief in how these children were able unintentionally cripple some of these Quintessons by this naturally Earth made flu before he's starting out planning on how to use this to their advantage
Cue him having to swallow his pride and ask Nurse Darby for assistance and Ratchet is just glaring in the corner so he isn't doing all this scheming using the children without someone keeping an eye on him
I forgot about that, yeah you're right!
He's gonna try🥺
That's such a scene

Catching Up With The Autobots - Danny Phantom x Transformers
Summary: After the events of "Additional Medical Assistance Required," June returns from her kidnapping shaken, and the Autobots are deeply concerned.
---
Notes
Set in a series where Danny finds Starscream one day and decides to start haunting the Decepticons. That's basically all the context you need but if you want more here is the rest of the series:
Haunting the Nemesis
Part 1: Chasing Stars
Part 2: Burning Rubber
Part 3: Adventures of the Decepticons' Pet Ghost Or Tumblr Master List
---
The Autobot base was nothing but quiet on days like this. And by days like this, it means. Days where all the Autobots and kids were under the same roof -Mountain?- Jack and Miko sat on the Autobot base’s only couch, elbowing each other, trying to distract one another from winning the game they were currency playing on the TV.
Bumblebee and Raf watched the game over the teen's shoulders with interest, Bulkhead and Arcee were having a conversation in the back, and Ratchet stood working on a few of his tools, threatening anyone who would try and distract him with a thrown wrench. Optimus stayed a safe enough distance away as he started up a conversation with his old friend.
Miko let out a whoop as her character got the upper hand, and Jack groaned.
"Come on, Miko! That was pure luck," he said, mashing buttons in an attempt to recover before slumping down in defeat on the couch.
Miko smirked. "Luck? Or skill , Darby?" She stood from the couch to do a victory dance.
Before Jack could retort, the door to the base slid open. Agent Fowler, this was normal. The agent would come storming in, about to yell about something or other and get mad at Optimus. Everyone was tired of it. Jack glanced up anyway to see what was going to happen when he froze. Agent Fowler was supporting a person, not just any person—Jack's mom!
“MOM!” Jack shouted, dropping the controller and rushing to her side. “What happened? Are you okay?” He put his hands on her shoulders trying to get a closer look at her.
June offered a weak smile and held out one hand in a slow-down motion toward her son. “I’m fine, honey,” she said softly, leaning into Fowler for support.
“She was kidnapped by Cons,” Fowler answered for her.
“What?!” Jack's eyes widened, and he looked back and forth between his mom and Fowler in horror. The Autobots quickly gathered around. Bumblebee beeped with concern, placing Raf on the catwalk while Ratchet immediately began scanning June.
Fowler led her to the couch and sat her down before grabbing a blanket to place around her shoulders. “We had some strange reports from the hospital, and when we went to investigate, we discovered June in the lot. She was pretty shaken up.” He explained.
“How did you get away?” Raf asked, his voice small.
“They… they let me go,” June said in disbelief.
Everyone in the room stared at her, eyes wide in shock. “That’s entirely unlike the Decepticons,” Ratchet said, looking back at the scan he took of June's vitals, seeming happy with them before closing it. “They wouldn’t just release you without a reason. Why would they risk exposure to take you in the first place?”
“What did they want with you?” Arcee asked, her tone sharp. “They don’t know your connection to us, do they? Because if they do, that puts you—and the kids—in even more danger.”
June shook her head. “No, it wasn’t that. They didn’t take me because of my connection to the Autobots. At least… I don’t think so. They didn't even know who I was.”
“Then what did they want?” Jack asked, sitting down next to her on the couch and putting a supportive hand on her knee.
“They wanted me for my medical expertise,” June explained. “At least, that’s what the jet… uh, Starscream said.”
“Wait.” Miko held her hands up. “Starscream kidnapped you because you’re a nurse ? What would that ugly gray stiletto-heeled Con want with a nurse?”
June looked at her hands and then back up at the others, taking a steading breath. It's been a long day for her. “He wanted me to patch up someone who was very injured.”
“Who?” Optimus asked, his deep voice resonating through the room.
June hesitated, her face pale as she glanced at Jack. “It was… a boy. A human boy, about Jack’s age”
“WHAT?!” the Autobots chorused, their disbelief echoing through the base.
“There is a human in Decepticon possession?” Optimus’s voice was heavy with concern.
June nodded. “He looked like he’d been through a lot. He was unconscious when I got there, but when he woke up, he didn’t seem… surprised. It was like he knew them.” Her voice cracked slightly, and she pressed a hand to her face. “Oh god. He reminded me of Jack. I can’t imagine Jack in the hands of the Decepticons.”
Jack’s stomach twisted, his mind racing. “Mom…” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Hey, what if it's the kid that Jack ran into at the race with Bumblebee?” Miko suggested, voice seeming too chipper for the situation.
Raf tilted his head and readjusted his glasses. “But wasn’t that six months ago?”
Arcee crossed her arms. “I put him somewhere safe after the race. Knockout never left my sight until he escaped. There’s no way they could’ve gotten him again.”
Fowler frowned, rubbing his chin. “I tried looking into it after your report. We couldn’t find a trace of the kid after that incident. No cameras, no witnesses. It’s like he was a ghost.”
“You think they kidnapped him again because he knew too much?” Arcee suggested. “Tracked him down again?"
“It’s a possibility,” Optimus said gravely. “If this human is being held by the Decepticons, it is cause for concern. We must determine his connection to them and ensure his safety.”
June started to speak again but hesitated when she looked over at the kids. Their eyes settled on Jack for a long moment before turning away. “I… I need to speak with Ratchet and Optimus in private… Fowler too.”
“Oh, come on! How come we don’t get in on the hot goss.” Miko cried out.
“It's not ‘Hot Goss’ Miko, this is serious!” Jack snapped, standing up from the couch. “My mom was kidnapped by Decepticons! This isn’t just another one of your fun adventures.” He threw his hand to the side in outrage.
Optimus tilted his head to the side in judgment. “Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee. Please accompany the human children elsewhere while we discuss this.”
Miko crossed her arms in a pout. “So unfair!”
Bulkhead sighed and used his hand to usher the teens out of the room. “Come on, Miko.”
Jack gave one last worried glance back to his mom before leaving with Arcee. He wanted to stay more than anything, make sure she was okay. But something must have happened that she really doesn’t want him to hear.
-
Optimus tilted his head toward June, patiently nodding. “What is it that you wish to speak with us about?”
June looked away, her expression troubled. “The kid’s injuries… Do you think the Decepticons might have caused them, or someone else? I don’t know…If it was the Decepticons, could this end up happening to the kids? I don't want them being in danger like this.” She put her head in her hands, taking a steadying breath. Agent Fowler placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Optimus hummed thoughtfully. “It is a possibility, though an unlikely one.”
“So, is a human getting medical attention on a Decepticon warship,” Ratchet countered. "Perhaps the human has intelligence or knowledge the Decepticons require him to stay alive for.” He placed a servo on his chin.
“That could be,” Fowler agreed. “We’ve seen a few Cons work with humans to get what they want in the past. Like Airachnid and M.E.C.H.” June shivered at the name.
Optimus nodded, his tone thoughtful. “Perhaps the origin of the injuries could shed some light on the situation.” He turned to June.
June pressed a hand to her temple as she tried to think. “There were deep scratches across his side. I wasn’t allowed to remove any clothing to fully assess the injuries. I wasn’t allowed to. I only saw what was exposed. The medic—or whatever Knockout is—wouldn’t let me.”
“Scratches?” Ratchet prompted, optics narrowing.
June nodded. “And burns. Bad ones — they were the worst of it, I think, and what worries me most. I… haven’t seen anything like this before.” She looked up at Optimus, hesitance and fear plain in her eyes. “The burns had seared into his abdomen, semi-cauterizing the flesh on the sides of the injuries. The closest I could tell, they came from some sort of laser.
The only thing that I could see doing something like this are the blasters that you and the Decepticons use. They did seem incredibly unprepared for this, too. There was blood everywhere. The two Decepticons in the room had their hands covered in it, as well as the table he was on… I don’t know how the kid survived that long before I got there.”
The Autobots waited patiently for her to continue.
“Knockout had tried to do some research before I arrived,” she explained. “He was looking up things online—human anatomy, medical procedures. At first, I thought they were going to experiment on me. But no, Knockout had tried using a welder to stop the bleeding. Some… attempt to cauterize the wounds.”
Agent Fowler grimaced. “A welder?”
June nodded. “It worked—at least until I got there. But it made the injuries worse in some areas. Still, it was clear they were trying to keep him alive.”
Ratchet tilted his head, surprise evident in his tone. “Knockout? Trying to save a human’s life with medical care? Never thought I’d see the day.”
June gave a weak smile. “Even though they were short-tempered and upset, Knockout listened to what I said and even wrote down notes. And Starscream—he was pacing the entire time. He wouldn’t leave the room.”
Fowler crossed his arms. “If Starscream was there, then this kid is definitely important. The second-in-command wouldn’t show up for just anyone.”
“Indeed,” Optimus agreed.
Fowler placed his hands on his hips. “Sounds like those blaster wounds are pretty damning evidence that the Cons are our culprits.”
“It is not out of character for the Decepticons to lash out with violence, even toward those they are allied with,” Optimus said gravely. “Even if they later regret the action.”
June bit her lip. “The kid said they didn’t hurt him. I asked. I needed to be sure, and he said it wasn’t them… Do you think he could be lying?”
“Why would a kid lie to protect the Cons?” Fowler asked, his expression skeptical.
“I don’t know,” June admitted. “But he didn’t trust me either.”
Ratchet scoffed. “You’re telling me that while trapped on a Decepticon warship, the only other human around, he didn’t trust you?”
June nodded. “He flinched when he saw me.” She glanced at the children to ensure they weren’t listening before continuing. “Then, Starscream tried to kill me in response.”
The Autobots stiffened, worry flickering across Optimus’s usually calm field.
June raised her hands quickly. “The kid stopped him. He told Starscream to take me back. And Starscream listened. I wanted the kid to come with me so he could be safe, but he wouldn’t. He promised I’d be okay, though.” She looked up at Optimus, her eyes pleading. “I just want that kid out of there. If the Cons did that to him… we have to make sure he’s all right.”
Optimus nodded, his voice steady. “We will do everything in our power to retrieve him. But we have not been able to locate the Nemesis for months now.”
Ratchet stepped forward. “Was there anything you saw on the Nemesis that might help us track it? Anything at all?”
June shook her head. “No. I was trapped in Starscream’s chest compartment the whole time. I didn’t see anything except the medbay.”
Optimus nodded to her. “You’ve been through enough, June. Take a moment to rest. We will handle this from here.”
-
Agent Fowler helped carry June away, and Optimus turned to his long-time friend and medic. “This situation is deeply troubling,” Optimus rumbled.
Ratchet folded his arms, a frown pulling at his features. “A human in Decepticon possession—injured, yet receiving medical care? It defies all logic.”
Optimus tilted his helm. “The Decepticons have never prioritized human life before. Starscream’s involvement only deepens the mystery. If the child’s injuries resulted from internal Decepticon conflict, Starscream would have little reason to keep him alive, let alone seek medical attention for him.”
Ratchet paced, his servos clenching briefly before releasing. “Unless it was Starscream himself that injured him, and he was attempting to rectify the mistake before he got in trouble. Fear of punishment from Megatron? The child must be valuable to them in some way—information, perhaps, or leverage. Whatever it is, it must be significant.”
Optimus’s optics narrowed in thought. “That is a possibility. But in the instance that the Decepticons were not responsible for the injuries, the question remains: who was?”
Ratchet exhaled, a sharp hiss escaping his vents. “Whoever it was didn’t hold back. Blaster burns, deep lacerations. From the sounds of it, it’s a miracle the kid survived long enough for June to step in. And yet…” His frown deepened. “The boy claimed the Decepticons didn’t hurt him but flinched when June approached. For him to react that way to a human, of all things… It suggests something deeper we’re not seeing yet.”
Optimus straightened. “Whatever the circumstances, we cannot leave a child in Decepticon custody. His safety—and the potential implications of his presence aboard the Nemesis—demand our attention.”
Ratchet nodded grimly. “Agreed. But without any way to locate the Nemesis...”
“We will find it,” Optimus said firmly. “Whatever it takes.”

Underfoot
Their (friendly, non-M.E.C.H.) human acquaintances, three kids and two adults, have claimed the old military base as much as the autobots have. Actually, the kids claimed them one way or another as well.
As a family and, apparently, as an indoor climbing challenge.
It's not unusual to see them on either Bumblebee or Bulkhead's, later Wheeljack's, shoulders or on top of their helmet -for which they've been repeatedly lectured on security risks by both Ratchet and Nurse Darby - and hitching a ride both indoors and outside.
They probably would've taken Arcee too if her shoulder blades weren't so pointy and sharp. Frankly, she would've allowed it, but she agrees with Ratchet that the security risk of slipping off would be higher on her shoulders, so she opts to carry them by hand when necessary. And they like to be carried, wether out of comfort or due to them travelling faster that way.
Rafael is mostly the only one Ratchet allows on his shoulders (the hypocrite), if at all, when working in silence on their respective projects and or inquiring each other's opinion. Miko isn't allowed for that exact reason and Jack is rather content working solo on the ground or distracting Miko with games in the meantime.
Optimus has jet to be taken as a perch in any sort of way, likely because he's either too tall -he is the biggest amongst all of them- or he respects his old friend's input and didn't allow it.
And, quite frankly, it was rather advantageous that the kids asked to be carried to other areas of the base, if only to not get under anyone's feet.
Lord knows that one time Miko was angrily stomping on the floor and Bee came into base,  shifted around in front of her and into his usual bi-pedal form. She'd almost been squashed by his turning gears! She hadn't cared for it much, still too upset about one thing or other that she'd just swatted Bee's leg away - the scout too startled that she hadn't stopped that he immediately lifted his pedes at the same time.
So yes, them being on any one of them, within optic range, was preferable than on the ground. Agent Fowler had even made a sign on the ground floor that was reminiscent of a flood warning for humans to get to higher space.
The oldest of the youth's, Jack, had understood the implied warning from Arcee and usually made his way to the human area after he was dropped off from school, so he didn't need to be told twice. If he wasn't there, then he took to the corner where his old unfinished school project was with Arcee in hopes to finish making his own motorbike from scraps. It was their quiet bonding time.
Miko, the sweet energetic rocker, well... she knew of the warning -they all did- but with her one usually knew where she was just by listening to her energetic voice or loud guitar. Bulkhead kept an extra sensor on her the moment more than three autobots were in the main hanger, just in case.
They didn't need to worry about Raf - like Jack, the boy usually didn't stray below the second level when he was at the base, conversing with Bumblebee or Ratchet, working on his computer or playing on the game console.
They knew all this, jet still - still they tested their limits for who knows what reason besides childish folly.
------
basically clips of the teens training their parkour skills with the autobots, running along their arms, jumping from their servos (hands) or helmets, swinging from their fingers-- when their Guardians shift into or out of alt mode they jump up, getting a slight bump-up to propel them, flip and then land in their guardian's - or anyone else's - awaiting servos/ seats.
Ratchet swears his spark nearly gave out the first time he witnessed it. The kids will be the reason he offlines, he knows it.
----
But their new-found gymnastic skills do have their own uses: the increase in stamina and agility being highlighted greatly as well as serving as a trust exercise - main points they've used to let Optimus allow them to continue this 'training'.
It was rather ridiculous when Miko just flashed a grin at Jack and Raf during their latest accompaniment on a mission that ended with them discovered whereas, instead of the usual cat-mouse game with the Decepticons, they made sure to put the fear of Scraplets into the Decepticons. Bee and Arcee vouch that their audio flaps had heard Starscream, well, screech in despair, disgust and fear. A good chunk of Vehicons had run amok when they caught sight of small, fast somethings everywhere on them or their comrade. Miko said they deserve a medal for that, and a scoreboard if they get more Cons than their partners. Considering the distraction that made, Fowler would be inclined to agree with the further idea, but Nurse Darby rather they stop now before they try it on a more dangerous foe. I.e. Megatron or a Predacon.
Admittedly, they didn't get a medal, but they used a sheet to keep score and didn't stop their free bungee jumping either.

Transformers prime story request.
The vehicons are the decepticons storm troopers, treated like nobodies and abused by their commanders every so often.
So... How about a story where one seeks to leave the decepticon life. Posing as a regular car at a car sale. This vehicon figures some time among Humans will be just what he needs. Having changed paint jobs and removing any trackers in him. He hopes to just... Enjoy "human watching", seeing what their lives are like.
He ends up bought by Jacks' mother sometime before she and her son knows about the transformers. And slowly ends up caring about her as he poses as her car. Enjoying the little things of his new life.
... And then her son brings home Arcee and the series ticks off from there.
A "normal" life
T-34B watched as humans mingled around him. Idle chatter filled the parking lot as different fleshy servos brushed along his alt-mode. Grumbled words of distaste and disinterest bounced around in his helm.
Had he picked a bad color? He thought the light blue was good but maybe he was wrong.
Did he look too worn down? He thought if he looked too new that he'd have less options but maybe he was wrong.
Was his model wrong? His research said that VW Beetles were decent cars but maybe he was wrong.
Should he have gone flashier? Sleeker? Been red? Maybe if he-
"How bout this one?" A voice interrupted his thoughts. There was a female human standing in front of his hood. Looking at him. Judging him. As subtly as he could he tried to push out his plating, air up his tires, and catch the sun just right so he looked as presentable as possible.
And it seemed to be working until a shorter and what seemed to be younger human butted in.
"Looks like an old man." The boy stated which was hurtful, he thinks. T-34B knew he wasn't the best or the brightest or even that standout but he didn't look that bad right?
Right?
"Don't be mean Jack I think that gives it character." T-34B was full of character, the lady gets it. Jack rolled his weird organic optics but shrugged.
Which T-34B would later learn was a seal of approval. Sort of.
Being driven through the streets of Jasper was weird. It felt wrong not to be in control of himself. He had to stifle every little desire to take the wheel or change the radio station.
He liked Earth's music but he wasn't a fan of the genre of 'Country'. It sounded too similar to him. As the songs blurred together into one noise it just reminded him of staring at the countless versions of his face. He did not like it. But he did not change it because cars didn't do that.
Pulling into what would be his new home he tried not to feel cramped inside the garage. He told himself that it was cozy and really far better than what he had back on the Nemesis. Because it was, anything was better than the Decepticon ship. Even a tiny garage and fleshy organics who weren't careful with sugary fluids were better than what he came from.
He'd have thousands of drinks spilled in his cab before he ever regretted leaving.
.
.
Life with the Darby's was simple. He learned the woman's name was June and that she was Jacks carrier or mom as the teen called her. He learned what a teenager was too.
He discovered that June was a nurse and that Earth's hospitals were not that different to the ones that once operated on Cybertron. At least from the outside looking in.
They didn't drive him many places. Mostly June's job, Jack's educational center, a place called WinCo Foods, and building with a bright neon sign that read Jasper Bowlarama. He did not know what a "Bowlarama" was but the Darby's always seemed happy after coming and he got to see lots of humans doing human things so everything was good
T-34B was staring to like when the unit he drove around were happy. He liked the talks he got to overhear. Like how Jack was doing in chemistry and that he was thinking of trying out for football. Which his mother didn't seem fond of and countered with going for band instead. He liked when June had a long shift and could barely drive, it gave him the chance to repay her by getting her home safely.
He liked that randomly June decided to give him a name. Apparently naming cars what just a thing humans did. She suggested Nancy because that had been the last vehicles name and the one before that so it just made sense.
T-34B dreaded being named after another.
But Jack interjected unknowing on his behalf. Said he didn't look like a Nancy.
He agreed.
Instead sighting that he looked more like a Buggy or Ozzy.
June picked Ozzy.
.
.
When Jack came back with a motorcycle June had lost her mind but gradually came around.
Ozzy had also lost his mind and was still currently losing it. For one he had to share his garage now. For two he felt like he was losing Jack. The teen didn't need him now because of that death machine. And for three and technically most important that was a FRAGGIN Autobot!
Oh Primus he was slagged. He was so slagged. His only saving grace was that the Bot hadn't realized he wasn't just a beetle and that almost immediately after June left Jack and the Bot began arguing.
He learned the Bot was Arcee. He's never encountered the Femme before but he's heard about her. Quick tempered and a 'shot first ask questions later' type. She's offlined hundreds of vehicons and now he was stuck sharing space with her.
Oh Ozzy was so slagged.

Cybertronians meet the bloody Mary
Words: 2090
Optimus Prime x gender-neutral reader x Ratchet
Fluff/Comfort
Notice: This is a comfort fic for people with a uterus, suffering through their menstrual cycle. Meaning blood, function and structure of the uterus will be mentioned/explained.
I use Bloody Mary a lot in this fic not cause I am ashamed of having a period but more so because I found it funny to give it a name. Also not everyone’s period goes the same way so your period experience may differ from person to person.
This was a request from @theemoteam5994, that I was more than happy to write.
Tumblr media
It was a pretty standard Friday evening I was sitting on the couch next to Miko reading a new book, I just got. Ratchet was working on the control panels recalibrating the ground bridge, Optimus stood at his control panel writing the report of the last mission for agent Fowler meanwhile Bulkhead repaired the lob ball. Jack had work, Raphael was out of country visiting family, which led Bumblebee and Arcee to drive patrol today. Resulting in Miko and me to hanging out alone. Which was fine it was a nice to not do anything for once.
Unexpected I started to feel something damp my pants, or to be precise my underwear. Oh, you gotta be kidding me. Mentally counting the days back since the last time, it happened and concluding that it had been indeed a month now, a defeated sigh escaped my lips. Which in turn made Miko turned to me in confusion.
“Whoa you good, what’s with the defeated sigh you sound like me when we are about to write a test.”
“Miko please just shut up and let me suffer in silence and desperation.”
“Yeesh since when are you so grumpy.”
“Since the high and mighty royal majesty, the bloody Mary decided to show up.”
“Ah Dave decided to visit.”
That caused me to raise a brow at Miko, to which she gave me a smile.
“Dave? Do I want to know.”
“You know that one sound “God, fucking damnit Dave, there goes the last shit I ever gave.”
“Omg, that’s genius.”
“Yes, it’s hilarious when you’re having period pain and just scream fucking Dave.”
“Oh man, Miko you’re a genius. By the way do you have tampons or a pad? I forgot my period bag.”
“Oh, shit did you just get it?”
“Yeah, and I would like to not have to explain to gigantic alien why my pants are red and what the menstrual cycle is.”
“Haha, understandable, I really wouldn’t want to explain what’s going on down there to Bulky.”
Giggling to each other, I’m forced to double over as a sharp pain shoot through my lower abdomen, causing a hiss of pain to escape me.
“Man, is your period always like that? It looks really painful. I mean my crams hurt to, but they are at least somewhat manageable.”
“Unfortunately, yes the problem with these I have to physically double over and can’t ignore them like the others.”
“That sucks. How about you go put on a pad or tampon or both and I call June if she can bring painkillers for you..”
“Oh my god Miko you’re a saint thanks.”
“No prob. The bag is in my front pocket underneath my slash monkey cd.”
Gratefully I go over to her bag as Miko makes her way to the medbay to find June. Finding the small cotton bag I take it out, zip Mikos bag back up and move hurriedly to the washrooms. Oh my god there is nothing more uncomfortable than sitting in a puddle of your own blood.
Coming back into the main hangar I moved towards the designated “human area” as Ratchet so lovingly nicknamed it. Miko was the first to notice my return and waved, as I climbed the stairs up. She intercepted me as I reached the stairs, I wordlessly gave her the little bag back, before she bend over and started whispering.
“Hey I called June and she said she bring some Aspirins and a few heating pads.”
“God I love that women, and you, bless you.”
“Yeah try to remember that the next time I go through the ground bridge.”
“Different issue Miko.”
“Ugh, well whatever, June said she bring the supplies when she picks up Jack after his shift.”
“Why does Nurse Darby have to bring painkillers and heating pads, and would you be so kind as to tell me why you didn’t think to inform me that you are unwell.”
Simultaneous Miko and I froze up as the very distinct sarcastic and very much unamused voice of the resident medic, rang from behind us. Turning around we were confronted with a very pissed of looking Ratchet.
“Ok you look like you can handle this right well my part is done, HEY BULKY LET’S GO DUNE BASHING.”
Miko didn’t hesitate to leave me alone and run up to the railing jumping onto her guardians servo as he immediately transformed around her and proceeded to race out of the base. Sharing his charges unwillingness to become a target of Ratchets anger. Left alone under Ratchets piercing gaze, I do my best to avoid eye contact.
“So, are you inclined to tell me now why you didn’t think it necessary to come to me for medical attention.”
“Oh uhm it’s really not that big of a deal.”
“If I didn’t treat every one that said “oh, that’s not that big of a deal” this entire team would be dead by now. So unless you miraculously became doctor you com to me with any kind of medical issue. Did I make myself clear?”
“Ratchet, it’s really none of your concern, I am fine.”
Quiet. It was deadly quiet, you could have heard a pin drop. Ah shit, I fucked up, I fucked up big time. I did the one thing you don’t do, ever. I broke the one rule on the base, crossed the one line even Optimus doesn’t cross. Don’t backtalk Ratchet when it’s about medical decision. Well it was a good life.
“Oh it’s none of my concern is it? My how interesting would you care to elaborate on why that is?”
“I...I I am sorry Ratchet, I didn’t mean it like th-ughnn.”
A sharp pain went trough my lower abdomen forcing me to hug myself as I doubled over. As the pain subsided and I was able to stand upright again, a green light beam went over my body. Looking up I was met with the sight of a very concerned Ratchet and an equally worried Optimus. When did he come over here, weird? I was ripped out of my train of thoughts as a sharp exhale escaped Ratchets vents.
“YOU ARE LOSING BLOOD AS WELL AS PART OF YOUR INNER LINING IS DETIRIOURATING AND YOU RUN AROUND HERE ACTING LIKE EVERYTHING IS FINE.”
“Because it is?”
Apparently, that was not the right or more like best thing to say. I could already see the oncoming triage, Ratchet was going to put me through. Just as he prepared to chew me out and preach his speech on taking proper care of oneself, a big servo landed on his shoulder plate. Optimus gently pulled Ratchet back before coming closer, bending down to my level.
“We are worried about you. Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed about.”
“Hmpf, especially if you lose essential organic fluids.”
“Ah, shit that’s not it’s, aww geez uh scrap how do I explain it.”
“While we both would appreciate an explanation, please don’t feel cornered or forced to please us. Though I do have to ask you to use a different manner of speech.”
“Huh, oh yeah sorry about that big guy. Just give me a minute”
Seeing Optimus giving a nod and even Ratchet, though begrudgingly, give me some space, I take a deep breath. Ok first me being a nervous wreck is not going to help anyone. So deep breaths, everything is fine. It’s not like you are going to have to explain how and what the menstrual cycle is, to gigantic aliens. Man, I sometimes hate my life so much. Letting out a deep sigh I turn around I make my way to the two bots.
“Ok, so first of all, I am ok, I will not bleed out or am sick with a terminal disease. What’s happening to me is a natural process that happens every month for more or less than a week depending on the person. Every person with a uterus goes through this with some exceptions. Yes, that includes June and Miko as well.”
Optimus and Ratchets frames slightly relax, tough confusion is still visible on their faceplates. Well, more on Ratchets than Optimus, though the leader frame is less rigid than before.
“But you are bleeding, isn’t the leaking of blood indication of an injury, do you mean it is natural for humans to injure their uterus every month?”
“What no we aren’t injured.”
“Perhaps it would help us understand better, if you were to explain on how this “menstrual cycle works.”
“OH, uhm sure. First of all the uterus is one of the reproductive organ’s humans have to reproduce. Each month, blood and tissue build up in the uterus to prepare for a fertilized egg in case a woman becomes pregnant. Important humans give live birth to their young not like other animals in eggs. Eggs is simply what we call the cell. If the egg isn't fertilized, that lining leaves the body through the vagina and that is what is called the period.”
Trough the explanation my eyes had driven away from the bots not wanting to see their faces of disgust.
“But then what is the menstrual cylcle? And that still doesn’t understand why you were in pain.”
Confused I look back up at Ratchet as he looked at me expectantly. Switching my point of view to Optimus he carries a similar expression though way more subtle than Ratchets.
“You, you aren’t disgusted?”
“Why would we I mean, its obvious a bit strange due to our different biologys. But so is your entire race.”
“As you explained, your period is a natural occurrence, there is no fault in that.”
“Oh ok.”
“You still haven’t answered my question.”
“Huh? Oh, yeah there are a lot of names for the period, like menstrual cycle, strawberry week.”
“I thank you for the explanation but there is still concern on your earlier episode of pain.”
“Oh yeah uhm, so basically to flush everything out, the uterus contracts itself which can lead to pain. How much pain someone experience is different for everyone. And well mine is sometimes so bad I double over.”
Both bots fall into back into silence, exchanging glances like they were silently communicating. Feeling slightly Causing me to shuffle my feet on the ground. Until Ratchets open servo comes up to me, an invitation to step into it. Confused I look at both Ratchet and Optimus. Sensing my confusion Ratchet responds.
“It is unreasonable to let someone alone when they are in pain, so get on.”
“What, no I am fine, I have dealt with this for the past 6 years on my own.”
“You should be resting.”
“No, I still have things to do I don’t need to rest.”
“Please do understand that we are just worried.”
Damn you Optimus, for making me feel bad about refusing help. Reluctantly I carefully climb onto Ratchets servo. Letting out a satisfied hum, he lifts me up to his chest, curling his digits gently around me. Carefully moving across the base, we go through a corridor I haven’t been in yet, only to land in front of a humongous door trough which Ratchet and Optimus can walk without any problems. Ratchet crosses the room and gently lays me down on the gigantic bed. Before turning around and walking around the bed to the other side before laying down himself.
Meanwhile, Optimus was closing a drawer, holding something I couldn’t make out and moved to join us. He deposited the content of his servo onto the berth near Ratchet. Before I could ask what and why they brought those things, my feet yet again left the ground.
Warmth surrounded me and weirdly a lot of red. Wiggling around I finally found the end of the blanket and looked up, only to be met, with two pairs of kind optics looking down at me.
“What’s all that?”
“We researched that warmth and comfort in the form of affection, food and a comforting environment prove, helpful when dealing with period pains.”
“Wait, you guys searched the internet to help me? Aww that’s so sweet.”
“Hmpf, well we can’t leave you alone in this time of you err, month.”
A smile starts forming, I snuggle back into the blankets happy about being so well cared for. My eyes are starting to feel heavy as a yawn escapes me, exhausted from the day’s events, I don’t fight the sleepiness taking over my body. Safe, warm, and protected by the two gentle guardians on each side of me.
