I've been looking at some negative reviews and critical discussions of Silver Under Nightfall out of curiosity, because I'm very much in HOW COULD ANYONE NOT LIKE THIS mode and one of the most common points of criticism I've seen is people saying they don't feel chemistry between the three leads, because they don't find Xiaodan's and Malekh's attraction to Remy believable.

and this has made me wonder to what degree I simply adore the romance dynamic in this book because I absolutely want to: like yes, give me vampire polyamory with decent writing and a serious but not grimdark tone and I am on board just like that.

But there's also the aspect of it just being delicious wish fulfillment. Like oh no, our self-doubting wet cat of a protagonist is being told he's worthy of kindness by two beautiful, powerful, dangerous people who take him under their wing and just implicitly start protecting him from those who have abused him in the past, even before he realizes that what's happened to him is abusive in the first place.

Maybe I don't need a logical explanation for why these two powerful vampires - who have a history of picking up dying strays and nursing them back to undead health, if you remember - see a kind, competent and unfairly shunned guy and go "we'll get him out of there, and if he's up for it we'll take him into our lives and our bed".

Maybe Rin Chupeco's summary of "vampire couple finds himbo in the trash and takes him in" is actually all the character motivation and logical reasoning I need for this.

The movie four end credits are SO cute.

hiiiii happy munday !! i haven't written one of these in... genuinely i think over 2 years, so i guess i'm probably way overdue for one !

"Oh! Sure." Ink nods with a smile, wondering whose visiting her. Oh! She almost forgot to call her friends about Davion. She has to tell them. But she needs to try the snacks.

But then she heard Denji's voice. Oh, he is here to visit? But then she sees Denji tackle him. Eh?! What's going on?!

Navarro sees Denji doing his thing but it isn't what he expected. Navarro twitched his eye seeing this. For once, he agrees with Bakugo! That wasn't a distraction! That was a takedown. Ugh! The short teen made a face. He should of ask Rin to do it instead of that chainsaw moron!

But he didn't expect Denji to be lifted up like a stray cat after getting back. Yeah, that takedown didn't do shit! As the other questions him, Rin goes for an attack and swings, sending out blue flames.

Oh for fuck's sake!

Then he got tackled right through the all down two floors making Navarro twitch an eye. The sound of nurses gasping and screaming.

"Oh fuck it! I'm going to back them up!" Navarro had his grenade launcher and jumps down. "Who do you think you're messing with?!"

Kali saw this and walks past Atsushi, Midoriya, and Ren to get Ink. "I go get Ink."

"D-Davion?!" Ink gets up and goes over to see what's going on. But she didn't expect to see Kali standing in front of her. "Huh? Kali?"

"Come with me! We're going somewhere!" Kali grabs her arm and drags her out of the room. This confuses the girl. "Wait...what?! What's going on?!"

"Well, even so I'm glad to see that your alright Ink." He laughed but he was indeed happy. Seeing Ink safe made Davion happier than anything else. He did already leave some presents and things for her but already gave some wrapped up treats for her too.

"Guys, I think we need to just calm down here before we-" Ren started to say but he saw Denji give a nod. "You got it!!!" He quickly goes but quickly goes to knock on the door quickly. Davion heard the knock.

"Hold on Ink I'll be right back." Davion smiled but stood up to head to the door. "Be sure you try the snacks. I made them myself." he laughed now going to answer the door.

As soon as Davion opens the door, he was suddenly rammed down to the floor as he was holding Davion down. "Got ya!"

"Denji! That's not how you distract someone!" Bakugo said with Rin glaring.

"You have any better ideas!?" he shouted holding him but as he did Davion slowly stood up but he lifted Denji up that he was hanging on him.

"Ummmmm, can I help you? Are you guys here to see Ink too?" he asked.

"How about you stay away from her!? We won't let you take her away from us!" Rin said now taking out his blade and swings but Davion ducks seeing the flames hit the wall.

"Woah, you shouldn't be fighting in the hospital! Others are-" Davion got tackled down right through the wall going down two floors as Bakugo and Rin jumps down to help him. Atsushi, Izuku, and Ren was shocked seeing this with hearing some fighting noises.

Ngunit hindi na niya mababalikan ang nakaraan kaya ngayon wala siyang ibang magagawa kundi tanggapin ang parusa ng tadhana sa kanya.

But how great it would have been if he wasn't immature back then? He would probably live with Lily in their condo; being furent to Suka, his cat. It would be really great to sleep beside her, laugh with her, drink, study and even cry due to their exhausting courses. Lily would be a great student nurse—if only she was still here.

Mag-aapat na taon na nang mawala si Lily pero hanggang ngayon, wala paring balita ang mga pulis. They concluded that Lily might be dead—which almost crashed Eron in pieces. He closed all the doors and did not let anyone in. Tinalikuran niya ang pamilya niya, ang mga kaibigan niya, at ang buhay niya.

Napakurap-kurap si Eron na kahit medyo kinakabahan sa naririnig ay pinilit parin na sundan kung saan nanggagaling ang boses.

The weeping voice was mumbling something...It's like a name that wasn't audible enough for him to apprehend.

Eron continued walking through the dark forest track. His only light is the flashlight on his phone that's why he couldn't see the way clearly.

It took him a few minutes before he finally found stairs towards an elevated walkway that was just finished around last year.

The weeping voice was coming on top of it so he didn't hesitate to walk up the stairs with a heart beating so fast—probably because he was worried that coming here might be a bad idea.

Who knew that that thought would vanish as soon as he stepped up to the top floor?

Everything went faster as if his thoughts joined the fireflies flying around the air. His eyes drifted to the girl seating on the bench chair alone, crying with both palms on her face.

The young man couldn't gather his thoughts while looking at the helpless young girl. He didn't know that a person can see his reflection without even looking at the mirror. She's just like him.

Dahil sa malakas na hangin, maingay na kaluskos ng mga dahon na nalalaglag mula sa mga puno sa paligid ay nagising ang diwa ng dalaga. Her red eyes soaked of tears gazed at the young man.

Their lifeless eyes finally met each other.
