I always love how chonky foxes look in the winter and absolutely had to recreate that in a huggable form!

Would it really make a big difference at this point if this account stopped updating.

My time in fandom has become almost exclusively miserable and while I still want to draw and make things I enjoy, I just feel kind of sick looking at this place. Its like people are either way too comfortable being lame to others or people are extremely cozy with letting people be awful. I don't even want to look at this place anymore even as I'm making works related.

Honestly joining in the first place was a mistake, but it really has just been an overall horrendous. Worse than I ever could have imagined. And what's worse, outing things I know in public will most likely only turn back on me, so I'm permanently trapped. This is probably being read with so much confusion.

I might be disappearing from this site. It won't put a big dent in this fan base because it will move on like nothing happened. I'm just really tired lately. Waking up and feeling like I'm dying isn't worth this nonsense really.

Is it the stripes. Is it the allergy to therapy. Is it the misread on what is "Successful Famous Rich Guy" fashion and insisting it IS it IS even though he's dead wrong. Is it the wounded pride. Is it the chasing this image others present you of a successful person and changing yourself over and over to fit that mold as times keep changing and changing. But you never quite compare?

I think it would be neat if Vi and Jinx weren't sisters, but were actually cousins instead. Back when I wrote that Lunari theory post I really dwelled on how immigration works for cities like Zaun and how it took on waves of refugees and migrant labor.

I ended up headcanoning Vi and Jinx as first cousins, their respective mothers were sisters instead. I imagined that Vi's mom moved to Zaun first to support their family in Targon. Eventually she met Vi's dad and they had Vi together. Things aren't great for them (not even close), but things are getting far worse in Targon for the rest of her family, where Solari aggression is only rising.

By the time Vi's maybe 6, Powder, Powder's mom, and a few extended cousins move into her home. It's pretty disorienting for everybody to get their bearings with. Powder doesn't even speak the Zaunite language, she's really young at this point, practically still a toddler. She clings to Vi because their the closest in age and Vi's still young enough to decipher toddler babble, even if it's in a language Vi only half knows. Vi was naturally frustrated by the influx of relatives but was quickly attached to Powder. It was helped by the way young children can look at kids no more than 3-4 years younger than them and think, "That's a BABY :D".

All the teens and adults in their family are working for the mines in some capacity, and they often got shafted with the most dangerous work, including Powder's mom. It wouldn't have been too long before Powder's mom was killed in a mining accident (gas, collapse, crowd crush, just so many ways for things to go wrong). Vi's mom informally adopts Powder (there's no paperwork), Vi and Powder are inseparable and the rest is history (for better or worse).

People on this website will be like: "In a gay ship you don't need to have a feminine one and a masculine one! No need for sub/dom dynamics! No need for strict top/bottom sexual positions!"

And you think to yourself yes. Indeed. We are finally accepting that gay people are as varied as any other person because we're all human!

But then the bottom line of the post is something along the lines of "they can both be real men and masculine and muscular and hairy and do fart jokes and maybe have a beer belly" and you're just like oh. This is just one of those posts that doesn't view not-idealised men as men. You don't view "girly guys" as just guys. You're being progressive by saying men... get to be men. You're being progressive by getting mad at... men being depicted as feminine, rather than being progressive by just stating you don't need to enforce stereotypes onto a gay (fictional) couple.

Which btw I agree. Unfortunately it still needs to be said that gay men can be masculine. But there's a difference between that and you just being shocked at the notion that, idk, two guys who pass as women on a good day can be in love with each other and be, indeed, a gay couple and not lesbian lite.
