You know what gets me about Hancock’s strongroom?

There’s not much actually in there.

Obviously there’s the odd assortment of randomly generated guns & ammo, plus the caps you get from Bobbi. that’s to be expected.

But Hancock practically says that’s not even where he keeps most of his caps anyway when he calls the 1000 caps he asks back for chump change.

The non-generated stuff is two fusion cores, two stealth boys….

But what’s mostly in there are some waters and what amounts to a random assortment of snack foods like Fancy Lads and Sugar bombs. Those are always there.

Right next to a sleeping bag that’s got a few wooden blocks next to it.

Conclusion?

We broke into Hancock’s hangover room that he goes to whenever he just wants some damn peace and quiet.

Feels like I wasted too much of my time on this to not end up posting it (30+ hours 😭), so here is a redesign of my Sole Survivor/Raider/Overboss OC, Daniel Garcia (you can really tell where I started to give up on this one, it was a real drag near the end)

He's a giant piece of shit and the opposite side of the coin for my OC and other Sole Survivor, Charlie (they meet in my Legion AU), and while Charlie does get physically and mentally messed up by being thrust into an almost alien future, Daniel gives into the simmering madness that Charlie fights, taking over the Institute and using it to rebuild the Commonwealth for the Raiders of Nuka World

Reminder that Nuka Break and Death Shroud are getting new installments sometime soon! If you haven’t watched them, or still need to rewatch them, now is the time.

Nuka Break is a short fanfilm, TV series (about the length and pacing of a movie), and spin-off film set shortly before Fallout: New Vegas. It’s a lot of fun, with a memorable cast and even a few canon characters. It fits really well within the source material while still expanding the lore. The plot is about a vault dweller, escaped slave, and ghoul traveling together while being pursued by everyone in the whole wasteland. At some point it was basically required viewing for the New Vegas fandom, but it seems like it’s fallen out of our collective consciousness. But NOT ON MY WATCH.

Death Shroud is a radio play written for Alzheimer’s research, with live performances by the actual Fallout 4 voice actors (especially Nick, Nora, Hancock, and Danse). It’s so much fun it’s ridiculous. The plot is… well, all I can say without spoiling too much is that Nick Valentine is investigating a mystery. For three hours you can’t possibly guess what’s coming at you next. It’s criminally underrated.
