It was my birthday today, so I drew the one OC that shares a birth month (but not a birthday) with me-Charlie, my first Fallout OC and canon divergent Sole Survivor

He looks like he's not vibing, but he's actually just overwhelmed because he hasn't had a birthday party since he was five, and his new friends knew him well enough to throw a small gathering to not push him away from the enjoyment of it, and make him Nuka Quantum pie, given his obsession with all things Nuka Cola (and robots-the gifts contain new tools for him to work on the various robots that come his way)

He's the type of guy that many would describe as a gentle giant, and probably the most kind out of all my OCs, and I really should draw him more

(this is the brush I used for the paper chain, I only modified it by drawing the lines over it because there was no way I was drawing a whole ass paper chain)

Did a little something for my good friend @missdsantiart 's birthday today, and drew her patrol ranger OC, Orson Redd-this is the second time I've draw him and I think he's pretty great

Enclave Arcade I drew for a mini AU I started posting on my Bluesky

TLDR: the Enclave came across the Big MT not long before Arcade was born and he grew up there and became an odd, overblown caricature of his canon self in an attempt to hide the immense guilt of growing up in a fascist cult

'but why didn't he just run away?'

Remember those coils in the Courier's head? The ones that would zap you unconscious if you crossed the barrier? Yeah, he has those in his head too, and they also cause that weird pacifist effect if he even thinks of violence against himself 😬

Mocked up what I think an NCR ID might look like for my NCR medic, Ellery (I've never been military so I don't know how accurate this would be)

He's not really much of a smiler around the time this was taken-this is a few months post Second Battle for Hoover Dam (with a NCR/Independent win), and he was dealing with PTSD as well as finding out the mysterious Courier he once helped was an ex-Legionary wanted by the NCR (my ex-Legion oc, Cadmus), all of which severely messed his head and started opening him up the idea that the world is not as black and white as he thought...which he didn't like

For context, I write Joshua as being more unhinged in my canon, hidden under a very thin veneer of religious zealotry-even the sanest of people don't remain 'normal' after 30 odd years of committing the most vile of crimes, and IMO, he's still the Legate under all that

A little Follows-Chalk from a thing I've been working on for the last few months (on and off depending on my mood for this mini project)

I hadn't drawn him before this so I was pleasantly surprised at how well he came out 🤷‍♂️

his eye is kind of gross under that bandage, a Legionary almost blinded him but Ellery basically flattened the guy and narrowly avoided being blinded

Lore below:

-Charlie went to live with his aunt and uncle in Boston at age 11, after being removed from the home. His uncle was his father's brother.

-Michael was an accidental baby, which is why there's a 17 year age gap

-Charlie didn't find out about Michael until a childhood friend in Morgantown reached out to him and told him about a possible sibling in foster care

-He was in the process of being evaluated to formally adopt Michael (he was medically discharged from the military, which hindered things) and was on the home stretch...then the war happened

-Charlie travelled to West Virginia with Nick to find out what happened to Michael, and while he never saw him again, he was at least able to get some closure

-Michael tried to travel to Boston, but it was still so irradiated in some places that it was a no go, and he wasn't able to find out what happened to Charlie

-They both went into their respective Vaults with pictures of each other, Michael more than Charlie, who was only able to grab a few as he rushed to Vault 111

-Michael always talked about the fun things he did with Charlie, in order to keep what little memories he had of him alive, and his biggest regret was being unable to find him

-They both treasured the time they had together

-Synth! Shaun looks almost like Michael did as a child, which in turn also reminds Charlie of his cousin Nate, who looked very similar as a child too (Charlie takes after his mother in terms of looks, but a lot of the men on the Bress side tend to have dark hair and olive complexions)

I put one of those plushes in my camp because I HC that Charlie got it for Michael (Charlie secretly thought it was creepy, but got it for Michael because that was what he wanted), and it was one of the few things Michael was able to take with him into the Vault, and later, out into the Wasteland

Ellery is my NCR OC, and often spends months at a time away from his family as a combat medic-he signed up for ten years, knowing the payoff and training at the end would be worth it at the end and help his family in the long run

He isn't one of those fathers that makes the wife do everything (for one, she'd kick his ass), but he just isn't like that anyway, and is a very hands on dad and did his best to make sure his family lived comfortably

His sister also helps out a bunch when he's away, and the family in general is very close knit and supportive

Not sure when this'll be finished as it features three others not posted here, but I want to post the full thing by Christmas 🤷‍♂️

It's my first Fallout OC's birthday today-his name is Charlie Bress, and he came into my head pretty much fully formed back in October 2020, when I first got into Fallout

He needed a new reference sheet, even if it was just a basic one, so I made one for his birthday today

He's a pretty serious looking guy, and his height and general quietness tends to make him intimidating, but he's one of my kindest OCs, and would give you the shirt off his back if necessary

Meant to get this finished in time for my birthday last week, didn't get it done until a day or two after, the didn't like it and ended up only posting it on Bluesky 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyway I more or less got over what was bothering me enough to want to post it elsewhere

There is a lot of lore leading up to this point and I should really finish the timeline for this whole story at some point 😅
