Bio - A chill laid-back individual that on surface isn't really special. They even say as much just your ordinary lil lizard guy. They come from a family of animal herders and caretakers. Alot of horses,sheeps,and some magical beasts been in their family care for many generations. They love animals and will talk to them in their languages many times as learned alot of them.

What they hide is their second life as a professional gamer named "Rex" who is a virtual animated chibi T-Rex that plays Mobas,Battle Royale,and MMOs streaming 2-3 hours 3 days out of the week. Rex is quite popular as super bubbly and really good at the games he plays yet nothing of the person behind the lil dino is known as Joyce would be so embarrassed if anyone found out as their family wouldn't be so supportive of this as want them to work the farm as usual.

They are been tying to maintain these two lives separately since starting NRC but some of that bubblyness may come out if they feel too comfortable or with people they like alot. Does wish to find one day others who may share their passion for gaming and maybe can move in with to finally escape life on farm and do what they love much more.

OH MY GOOOOD THE STAFF SHOW UP IN THIS YEAR'S ANNI STORY, STAFF IN GRIM GROOVY IS REAL

WE DID IT, FELLAS... ..... ......... . ................... ... ...... . ... ... . .... .. . WE WON WITH THE CONFIRMED STAFF IN GRIM GROOVY 🎊 Between the Crowley SSR, the new event type (where we can wailed on Crowley), and now this... STAFF STANS EATING WELL IN 2024!!

Apprentice Chef Grim's groovy is currently time gated and locked, but... we are for SURE getting staff members (as many fans have predicted!) in that groovy!! This is because the short event story associated with the 4th year anniversary has all 5 known members of NRC staff attending a celebration at Ramshackle dorm. In previous years, we had students join us to party by grade level (first years, second years, then third years). These same groups were then featured posing with Grim while holding up fingers indicating the number of years TWST has been around for (so for first years 1 finger, second years 2 fingers, and third years 3 fingers):

Following that pattern, it means staff with be with Grim, and they will be holding up 4 fingers each. The lightning and coloring will probably also be similar to the groovies pictured above, and there will probably be those bubbles too.

... You know what else this means? STAFF IN THE 4TH ANNIVERSARY RHYTHMIC/TWISTUNE!!!! We'll get to see their cute little sprites fooling around with each other and eating food with Grimmy 🥺 Aaaaaaaah, I'm so excited for that!!!

Fools Rambling #1.1:Adult HC Riddle

Disclaimer this is based on speculation and all in the name of fun

3rd-4th year riddle, young adult and adult Riddle

Hair holds memories, and hair is one of the first rule that needed to be broken.

I speculate that Riddle's mom meticulously keeps his hair at a certain style and length deeming it as what is proper. So Riddle doesn't let his hair grow out as per his mom.

But after his overblot and time of reflection and maybe some encouragement from his closes peers, he lets his hair grow just a little.

It was his very first little rebellion and he was somewhat proud of himself taking control .

But years of routine and rules does not simply disappear all together . He lets his hair grow longer, but he still keeps it quite tidy.

Only after somewhat severing (albeit not all together, due to the complexities of life) his mother's control over him, he lets it grow longer. Often he ties it in s neat ponytail or a braid.

I speculated at first that he would wear glasses but something in my mind tells me he has PERFECT vision. Very very good vision.

But for the sake of continuous good health he uses reading glasses if he is reading any length documents.

Again, Riddle still finds peace in order. But this order is now his to control, not his mother's. He still adheres to the Queen of Hearts , however its not to a suffocating degree. But again again again, he is still kinda a stickler for rules and passionate about following it.

At the end of the day he is still a law abiding lawful citizen with a temper.

He is more expressive with those he is familiar with from NRC aka his closest persons.

This one is a more farfetched musing but perhaps at one point, due to impulse he got his ear pierced, only one. It was a simple elegant piercing on one ear. He regretted it immediately the next day but at the same time he didn't want to take it off all together .

The first time Trey Chenya and Cater saw the piercing they thought they were hallucinating .

He grew a bit taller and like all those who grow he is bigger, broader shoulders and all that. But he is still smaller than his peers, genetics mayhaps. Toned legs from horseback riding.

Still have a bit of a baby face despite sharper features. Looks a bit younger even if he grows a bit older. Good diet and all that.

Keeps his appearance tidy and neat. Occasional dark circles cannot be avoided still, because he tends to still somewhat overwork himself.

Also love how Crowleywas in charge of the 4th Anniversary because the 4th year is the last year you'll get while studying in NRC!! Thought… What if there was an AU for [Name] being one of the top ranked mages in twisted wonderland. Like, there is a venue at NRC with everyone invited. Even parents were allowed entry. So the parties PACKED. And then a murmur amongst the students gave rise to a NEW racked mage, saying it was a girl in her teens. Then, an announcement was made, that there was a new Top Rank list.

EVERYONE was shocked. I mean, Imagine that the last change for this list was over 10 years ago, the youngest and last on the list being 32 years old. And all of a sudden, there is a new member on the list? Firstly, it is very difficult even REACHING the top 100, let alone the top 10. Just who is this girl?

As they announced the new list, they went from bottom to top, starting from 10. Number 10, (is now the previous 9th place). This stunt people. It wouldn't be that surprising if number ten was the one being replaced. But for it to go one down…means that the girl was in a higher position. Number 9, (previous 8th place). Number 8, (previous 7th place). Number 7, (previous 6th place). Number 6, (previous 5th place). The more people listened, the more wide eyed they got. There was simply no way a young girl got on the top 5 in one go. That’s just impossible. Yet the announcer didn’t stop. Number 5, (previous 4th place). Number 4, (previous 3rd place). Number 3, (previous 2nd place). Number 2…. People were at the edges leaning forward. The first place belongs to The Prince of Thorn Valley, and had been so for the last centuries. Surely this girl couldn't have beat that…right?

The announcer continued, waiting for no one. [Name], [Name] Fairytale. That was the name outered by the announcer. Number 1, Malleus Draconia. To have a young girl be almost in par with THE Malleus Draconia, prince and heir to the throne of Thorn Valley. That was impressive…and terrifying.

Who is she? 

What is she?

A human like that couldn't possibly exist. I mean, she is standing right infront of them, but still. They needed to know where this girl came from, and how she managed to climb to the top of the ranks. Some want to know out of curiosity, others, out of anger and envy. But the worst of them all, was those who think they could use this girl in their schemes. Use her to their gain. Maybe even to get powers never available to them before.

I wonder…. Do they think you're that stupid? That you are just an innocent little girl? Smart enough to fight, but dumb enough to manipulate.

They’re all fools. You’ll just have to prove it to them. A demonstration will suffice, yes?

Night Raven College: A (Loose) Year's Timeline

I got frustrated that I couldn't find a timeline of events for Disney Twisted Wonderland, to help me figure out which "yearly" events happened when and at what time of year each Story happened during.

So, like the Madwoman I am, I tried to make one of my own.

Just so you know, this is based on when they happen in a single year and not which years they happen at the school (since, despite game logic, I refuse to believe that insanity happens in a single year), as well as the rough estimate of when each overblot happened based on context clues and irl events they match and when the game holds them. (please note, this doesn’t include the Japan-exclusive events)

Since NRC is 4 year school, I would assume that some events wouldn’t be yearly or happen in the same year. This is just a general “yearly calendar” timeline. So specific one-time events aren't really included (like the Tsumtsum or the Apprentice Chef ones), nor are the ones that don't have stories. And since the school is based on the Western school year, it starts in the fall and not spring!

I hope my crazy is useful to someone!

You haven't gone back to NRC in a while. Despite the absolute chaos that goes on way more than often in that school, you’ve grown to harbor fondness for that familiarity. Luckily, you're due for a report of the progress of your internship. Instead of merely sending an email to your professor, you’ll go meet up with him yourself and check up on your underclassmen (maybe even get to know the freshmen) in the meantime.

You are just one of the many seniors of NRC but you found that your dorm members are quite fond of you for whatever reason. So when you come back for that short time period, a few of them come to greet you and catch up with you. Apparently, the abandoned dorm is now occupied by not one but two new students. You didn't even know there was an abandoned dorm!

“One of them can't even use magic and came from a different universe or something? And one of them is literally a magical monster! The school totally got weirder when you left, (Y/N),” one of your dorm members explains. You try to imagine it in your head. Yeah, no, if nobody told you that’s exactly what happened, you wouldn’t have known. You only believe the dorm member because you trust them enough.

“Oh, and remember Idia? The one with the robot brother? He’s a housewarden now. And his brother's a student now. He's an actual freshman,” more gossip makes their way to you. Your eyes widen at the news. You feel like you may remember them, the Shroud brothers - you could tell Idia was trying really hard to stay on the down low so you did him a favor and left him alone for the most part.

You don’t stay at your dorm for very long - you did come to NRC for a reason - and that was to send in that report of yours. Though you already dropped it off before checking up on your underclassmen, you plan just walking around school and taking in the sights that were once so familiar to you. And you haven’t even really graduated yet.

You walk down the hallways and say hi to whoever you recognize, basking in that comfortable familiarity. Some friendlier students stop to chat with you and to be perfectly honest, you feel a little old compared to everyone. You don’t mind but what’s rubbing it in is how some of the students are calling you “Dad” to tease you. You know they’re being playful for the most part but you can’t help but feel a little awkward with the nickname.

Then you run into those three.

You recognize the younger Shroud brother - hard not to with his flames for hair - but you can only guess the other two are the new students occupying that abandoned dorm; one’s uniform seems foreign and the other is not even remotely humanoid. They're definitely eye-catching, especially together. And apparently, you're pretty eye-catching too, with the way they lay their eyes on you while you were talking to another student.

The younger Shroud brother leads the group as they make their way to you excitedly. You're already preparing yourself for what you assume is a normal conversation with these kids. Too bad normal is the wrong thing to expect from these three, you will come to know.

“(Y/N)! You’re back at school!” The younger Shroud - Ortho, that’s his name - exclaims as he flies slightly upwards, happy to see you again. The other two look at you curiously, head tilted to the side and all. You offer them a jolly laugh as you tell the other two who you are and update all of them of how your internship is going. They’re eerily silent when you’re relaying your story but you appreciate not being interrupted. ‘What polite freshmen,’ you thought.

Until they aren’t, because they interrupt you with-

“Can you adopt us?!”

Their eyes twinkle as they clasp their hands together and gaze at you with their best puppy-eye look. Oh, they’re being genuine. This is escalating way too quickly - the nickname was weird enough, you’re not sure what to feel about a bunch of age-ambiguous freshmen wanting a fellow (though presumably older) student to adopt them. You sigh and put on your best smile so as to not disappoint them.

Truth be told, it really isn’t as bad or weird as it sounds. People were already teasing you about it so might as well run along with it. But still. Legally adopting these freshmen would still be too much for you to handle. After all, you’re still going to be preoccupied with your internship. You won’t be present for most of their school years and the last thing you want to be is a father who forgot to bring the milk back home.

You tell them you will think about it, in case they were actually joking and you’re somehow dumb enough to not catch on. They agree to allow you to take your time… but then they start muttering about “getting a contract from Azul” and you immediately step in to stop them from taking any drastic measures.

After that whole ordeal, you leave school more exhausted than you thought you would be. After all, three freshmen literally asked you to become their father and adopt them and were about to get you to agree to some contract.  But then, you find out, they turn out to be the best children you’ve ever had. 

They can be a handful, sure - Ortho is way too curious for his own good sometimes, Grim can’t sit still and picks fights with people often, and Yuu is… Yuu. Being a single father is definitely not the easiest thing to do with them as your children.

Yet you wouldn’t trade them for the world.

Just,,,,,, the way he's so hot and cold while you were in school together, intentionally doing things just to see you fluster or further kindle your affections. He doesn't normally like so much attention, but he admits it feels nice when it's coming from you. He'd play with your feelings like they were a harp, stringing you along just because it was fun and exciting. And then he goes off for his internship/independent study and during that time apart realizes he misses you and your voice and your kind gestures and the little things you'd do. Oh, he's fallen in love with you, hasn't he? He's always felt this way. He just failed to realize it.

Jade hopes to confess when he returns. He hypes himself up for it, cowardly despite his nature to be unabashed in everything else he does. When he gets back to NRC in the winter for the cultural festival and sees you hand in hand with someone from your year, his heart frosts over. He was too late. You've already found someone else who'll love and appreciate you far better than Jade ever could before.

This is a compilation of all the canon information I could find on Ace’s older brother. He has yet to be named, so 😅 errrr… I'll be referring to him as “Anippola" (as in “Trappola aniki”) in this post.

Anippola is older than Ace by 7 years.

According to Ace, his brother was even more excited about Ace getting into NRC than their parents were.

Before Ace was accepted into NRC, his older brother would take him along with him to various places.

He is an alumnus of NRC and was previously in Heartslabyul dorm; this is why Ace is not surprised when he, too, is sorted into Heartslabyul.

Ace talks with his older brother over the phone. Sometimes they talk late into the night, which occasionally makes Ace late in the mornings.

He “built up a whole repertoire of magic tricks” from his days as a NRC student. Ace learned them by playing watching, memorizing, and then finally replicating those magic tricks, since Anippola refused to tell him how to do them. It is through these kinds of experiences that Ace has become quite adaptable.

He learned some sleight of hand tricks from their magicless father too.

Whenever the Trappola men are together, they will challenge each other to pull off various tricks.

Ace reports that his older brother told him "the most convincing lies are sprinkled with a dash of the truth". This implies that Ace may have learned how to lie so cleverly from Anippola, or at the very least was inspired by his advice.

Ace's brother bought a luxury watch with his first paycheck. He framed it as though it was Ace's birthday gift, but then revealed the item was actually for himself and gave Ace an empty box instead.

Anippola later apologized and gave Ace a box of candy, which annoyed his little brother (because Ace says he's not a little kid, of course he wouldn't be happy about receiving candy!)

Another time, Anippola purposefully snuffed out the candles on Ace's birthday cake. This resulted in a fight between the brothers.

From these stories, we can deduce that Anippola s a prankster.

He did his 4th year NRC internship at a theme park management company designing shows and attractions. (The dialogue could also be interpreted as generally working in the entertainment industry, not specifically for the theme park company.) Anippola currently works for that same place.

There is supposedly a picture of Ace's brother hung up in the hallway by the teacher's lounge. The photo is from when Anippola led the card solider parade for a Magical Shift/Spelldrive opening ceremony.

Ace says his brother is not the type to make sweets for him.

Anippola wasn't all too interested in dorm life.

He told Ace about various ways to kill time at his dorm.

Ace describes Anippola as someone who is light-hearted, casual, and easy to get along with.

Ace also admits that it can be advantageous to have an older brother, as they are an example to follow and could support him in that way. He specifically mentions school life and job hunting as examples.

Hello! So I have a question, I wanted to ask if we know if in NRC it goes by three terms or four? As Im only familiar with schools using four terms but I heard that japan only uses three lol

NRC might follow a four-term (or "quarter") system! ^^

Crowley explains that the internships for 4th-year students begin in September (the same time as school begins for all students) and last three months each. While he does not explicitly say "this is the same schedule we follow at the school because NRC is a four-quarter system," it is possible! ^^

Elementary school to high school is often three terms in Japan, but the school system in Twst is being pointedly described as different from Japan's systems! (ref: The prefect and culture shock)

The novel can be very different from the game, but looking at the main story the only time final exams have ever been mentioned might only be in Book 3, which is typically assumed to take place sometime from November to December (unlike other arcs like Book 2 and Book 5, we are not given any specific month for when Book 3 is taking place). Ref: A timeline for the main game?

The "final exams" that have been mentioned in the game take place directly before winter holidays, which we know end just after new year, so it seems to be the conclusion of the first semester of September to December!

Also in the game we have the characters referring to schooling such as elementary school, middle school and high school in English rather than Japanese, possibly insinuating that Twst's school system has been based on overseas systems rather than Japan's own?

We also have references to things like quizzes, test days, practical magic exams throughout various vignettes! The exact timing of these are, however, not specified :>

As of Book 7 is has been "half a year" since the school year began with no mention of final exams since Book 3, so perhaps the next final-exam-period has yet to come? :>

Happy 4th anniversary Twst!

I can't believe it's been 4 years.... I started playing it when I was Sam's age...now I am ....Vargas's age....

But trust me my interest and passion for Twisted Wonderland started around 2018... When Yana dropped such "a bomb" on her twitter with a Disney collab and a thank you 100k followers sketch with Crewel, Crowley, Trein/Lucius and the Yami no Kagami.... I was doomed when I saw "le fanart" of Malleus rising of a coffin then.... I was like....OMGGG ooohhh monnn dieeuuu....that art Yana-senseiiiii....isn't it Maleficientttt!!! I became such ....such the most platoniiic lover/fan-girl ever of Malleus *staring at him with dead fish eyes and not speaking* My kakkoi dragon fairy, Maleficient grandson!! And I literrally "harassed" my partner in crime @twiwoncrackpopcorn everyday with it, being a 90's baby Disney's fan and Yana-sensei's one too.... Character Info

Hopper is a very assertive young man, known in RSA for his immense bravery and extraordinary knowledge in combat. Being the Housewarden of Lepuvince, he values bravery and justice above all.

Growing up, Hopper had always valued bravery and justice. His father taught him all about how to fight and save people, which led Hopper to have many friends, but also many enemies. This did not discourage him, though, as he would be top of his class almost every year and learn many different types of hand-to-hand combat in his free time.

As the years went on, Hopper started to be enveloped in his schoolwork and, as a consequence, lost many of his friends. Yet, he still moved on, determined to be strong and dependable like his father. Many times throughout his middle school life, he would be bullied for his height or how cutesy he looked, but he would just ignore them all. He needed to be just like his father.

One day, Hopper's mother saw just how hard he was on himself and decided to take him out of school early. Once Hopper got home, his mother told him to come help her on their farm. There, Hopper's mother forced him to finally have fun and do something without the stress of being the best, and once the sun set, Hopper's mother gave him a little carving of a rabbit as a thank you gift.

Since then, Hopper has tried his best to be the best he can be, but still saving time for his own health. Though, he gets bored of his life sometimes, wanting to have fun again like he did with his mom that one day. He wonders a lot about what it would be like to have a partner that would break him out of his comfort zone and make him have fun. Yet, he always thinks he's too busy for love.

Relationships

Neige - While Hopper thinks they're just acquaintances, Neige thinks that him and Hopper are best friends. Neige is almost always by Hopper's side, calling himself his #1 fan, much to Hopper's dismay. Though, the two do get along, and sometimes go shopping together.

Elias - Before Elias went to NRC, he enrolled into RSA. There, he befriended Hopper, and the two became inseparable. Though, due to Elias's family business, he had to move. Hopper still talks to Elias, but definitely not as much as he used to, due to Elias now going to RSA's rival school.

Niko - Hopper and Niko's first meeting definitely wasn't the friendliest. The two met during the culture fair, and due to Niko's annoying nature, Hopper had to.... punch him. Since then, they've been friendly enemies, meeting up with each other from time due to coincidence. It started out being just arguments until they gradually realized that they had things in common. The more they talked, the more their hatred turned to friendliness, and Hopper started to think differently about Niko. Something way different.
