His eyes wander absently until they fall on the beaten, busted up lil Stingray that makes him cringe. Damn, mistreatin a tuff lil car like that should be illegal. "Aw hell, yeah I know that guy. He's always got an attitude problem."

Pony wiggles his skates against Johnny's so the both roll a bit along the cracked cement, scowls down at the ground. "Fuckin hollered at me 'cause the kitchen forgot his fries. Again."

Johnny bristles, tossin his hair out his eyes to glare in the general direction on the kitchen. "Man, he shouldn't get a pass on that. Ya want me to handle it?" He'd taken a lot of shit on the job. Waitin' often meant more then anyone's fair share of gettin bitched at for shit you couldn't control one bit. It didn't bug him most time. Or he wouldn't let on that it did. But he'd fly off the fuckin handle for Pony any time. God, he was just a kid. People could be right assholes.

"Aw, don't worry 'bout it man. Y'know. Fuck the job." He lifts one shoulder, lets it fall. Fuck the job was the mantra. Fuck the job who cares. Fuck that guy don't worry 'bout it. Fuck the manger were off in an hour anyhow. Maybe it wasn't the best copin' skill but it sure worked for them.

Johnny's got the sudden urge to rib him a bit about how hard he'd begged Darry to let him get a job in the first place, but he swallows it. Pony heard enough of it from the rest of 'em 'n God knew Dar brought it up every time Pone set his mind to complainin'. He didn't mean it to be nasty or nothin' but it was a sure-fire way to get straight under Pony's skin. Hell, no matter how old 'n grown Darry got to be part of him would probably always be holdin' told ya I was right over his kid brother's head.

So instead, he pushes Pony's arms so he rolls backward 'n then pulls him back. "You oughta comp him a shake 'n then dump the whole thing all over his upholstery." Pony cracks a sharp 'n malicious grin 'n they both laugh. Another copin' skill. Talkin' extensively 'bout all the shit they could never in a million years do.

"Aw, I bet he wouldn't even be able to tell. What with the way he's fucked up that beater already."

I gotta wonder about this whole "Cold Harbor" thing going on.

Cobel said very clearly that once the file was done, Gemma would be gone. I'm assuming that doesn't meant she's actually gone gone and am instead taking it in the context of "the Gemma that you know will be gone"

We know that Gemma, the "og Gemma" if you will, absolutely retains memories of her and Mark and through her episode we can tell that the Gemma we spend the most time with is the Gemma that Mark knew as well

She changes every time she enters a new room - and also based on context clues - its not like she has one innie for the rooms. She has one innie for one room. So however many innies that is (taken context from the fact that she keeps saying "I was just in here, can't we take a break" and "It's always Christmas")

I can't imagine what version of a room would erase the og Gemma or if Cold Harbor is equivalent to erasing all the memories of her and Mark and who she was outside of this ?? but also the point of severance was to be entirely happy without any of the downsides. And obviously she was happy, and so obviously was she sad. I just can't picture an ending where she doesn't know Mark anymore because how would that serve anything??

would it mean she would stop fighting back??
