i have moved! like this post if you would like me to follow from the new blog. be warned: i reposted and reblogged a lot of headcanons and posts, so your dash will be flooded when first following me. sorry in advanced! i wanted the blog to be completely set up before launching it.

;;Clarification on verses and how I generally handle Post-TYBW:

In my opinion, Rukia being settled and having a family is nearly a prerequisite for Rukia assuming captaincy. That or some other significant event for her, which I don't know the shape of at the moment. In canon, it's only when her child is more grown that she actually takes the title(10 years after the end of the war), so she remains acting captain for a long time even if fully compliant. I would suggest by default that you assume she's lieutenant but fully assuming the responsibilities of an acting captain of the thirteenth if wanting to do something post TYBW. If you say post-TYBW I'm usually picturing this length of time.

OR if you want full captain Rukia, just remember that you are adding at least a 10 year gap for her to take up the rank... >3> I'm open to other ideas on discussion as well, just talk to me on them so we're on the same page.

Not noting this because I want to avoid the verse where she's captain. it's the opposite really. I think this point is very interesting, and want to get into the headspace of her here and what leads up to this more so. It's really more of an invite because I want to detail out before she makes captaincy and her headpiece and ten years is lot to fill in for my brain and I know there are significant things that happen before that point I want to fill in.

Some headcanons on her and captaincy:

She will actively respond to Captain Rukia, and or Kuchiki-taichou even while just acting captain, but make fun of you on getting your eyes checked or something.

With the passing of her captain, she's very reflective and actively refuses the title or pressure to take the rank. In her heart is some uncertainty in her life's direction, and some thoughts on making the most of life, where that takes her is open though. I don't think it specifically needs to take the shape of canon, but it is some kind of journey or change in focus for her. She's stops just looking at what's in front of her and maybe even looks back and beyond.

Her absolute first priority after thousand year blood war is looking after what remains of her squad. She knows she's now the highest officer that remains for them to look towards after they've lost someone who has been there so long and was important to so many. More than herself, she puts her squadmates first and will shut down and hide her own grieving or emotions to look after them and be the sign of strength that they can lean on.

She attends meetings in place of a captain for the thirteenth while acting captain.

Rukia still thinks she has a lot to learn, on leadership, and particularly on her bankai before taking on the full role of captain.

You could change my mind with a good thread on it or maybe have the right person talk to her, but this is my current mindset, until something makes me think different ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

nosy anon again making a return because i think what my brain did was read that i helped find some kind of writing and then did not fully process what the writing was?? but upon rereading i am very intrigued if you ever get the urge to share i will be all eyes/ears/senses required to enjoy things!!

I GET TO DO WIP WEDNESDAYYYYYY!!! the writing exists mostly in the form of a tag (fantastic! 'verse) and also a thirty-two page doc of snippets and planning, so the sense you will be using most is imagination:

don't think i have ever actually formally written out anything about fantastic! 'verse but! the tl;dr of it is that it's a semi-college au: joel is still a hockey player for the lv phantoms, but morgan is a college student-athlete. it's incredibly relevant to the plot that joel falls in love with morgan in the check-out line of a wegman's, lies a little bit, and ends up going back to get his degree.

most of it is just good fun about college kids growing up, but i think there's a lot of parallels between making your way through a development system where traditional "success" isn't always guaranteed (ahl -> nhl, completion of higher education -> pursuit of a career) because that development system isn't always designed for you to "succeed" or have opportunities. heavy quotation marks around success because part of that struggle is learning what you want in life and how you define success. are your dreams achievable? are they still the same dreams you always used to have? it's infinite branching universes of would you still love me if i was a worm (ahl player forever) (a college dropout) (a college graduate) (older) (realizing the fallibility of your body) (uncertain of the future) (human).

The first few people he encountered, everything seemed to work fine. The first person that brought him to bigger land even gave him some old shirt and pants that he could put on to wear more than just his cape and silver arm-protections, and when he made contact with people here they seemed to answer his - for them perhaps obviousl - questions willingly enough. Now, though, he realized something must have not been quite as simple as he understood it, for after a heavy hit on his back he woke up in this shed, his arms tied behind his back and his knees tied together and to a pole behind him, and he flinched away as a person in front of him splashed another bucketful of water against his face.

He was a very bad liar, so trying to claim he doesn't know anything might not help convince the person, but it wasn't like Ryand'r had any other option for what to do, except struggle against the ropes tying him.

MAIN :: I'm going to become King of the Pirates! —

Luffy has completed a two-year hiatus to undergo training in order to grow stronger before entering the New World. He has matured somewhat and is less naïve now, however for the most part he still retains his ambitious, optimistic, carefree, and impulsive attitude with a renewed excitement. At this time, Luffy has been named the youngest of the pirate of emperors at the age of 19, with a current bounty on his head of 3 billion berries. [ This verse spans the events of manga canon post-timeskip and up through the Wano saga. ]

PRE-TIMESKIP :: Come on board and bring along all your hopes and dreams! —

Luffy is a young pirate captain, age 17, building a name for himself and the Straw Hat pirates as a notorious crew in the eyes of the World Government. He and his crew are currently making their way through the Grand Line, but have yet to reach the New World. [This verse spans the events of manga canon up until the 2-year time skip.]

DAWN ISLAND :: I'm not a kid! I'm a man! —

Crybaby Luffy is the local, loudmouth 7-year-old village child who has made it his mission to join red-hair shanks' crew and make the grumpy portgas d. ace his friend! and he's doing his very best to annoy everyone along the way! [This verse follows and takes place during the varying events of Luffy's childhood on Foosha island.]

OPLA :: being a pirate is about adventure & freedom! —

Monkey D. Luffy, a nobody kid in a straw hat, suddenly appeared claiming he was going to be king of the pirates! He has since gathered himself a small crew and ship, while taking on big name pirates in his home sea, the East Blue. [This verse follows the events and timeline of Netflix's live action One Piece series.]

MODERN: WORLD TRAVELER :: I don't want to go on a boring adventure —

After graduating high school, Luffy chose not to attend college, but instead decided to travel the world. To his grandfather's dismay, he's not really sure what he's doing in life yet, but he doesn't care because he's having fun and making friends along the way. When he's not running off to another country to check it out, he's either staying with his grandpa or with one/both of his brothers. [Would like to plot this verse out more.]

MODERN: PRO FIGHTER :: Eye of the Tiger —

Monkey D. Luffy is a young, up and coming mixed martial arts fighter who just recently made his professional debut. he is determined to make it to the top and become the international lightweight champion! [More to be added.]

Resurrection: Explanation

They seemed to come from all direction: the mountains to the South, the sea to the East, the ruins of the Guili Assembly to the North, Mt. Tianheng to the West, and every inch of life far beyond each corner of Teyvat; each speck of ash, of chalk, of dust...

As I absolutely don't want to intrude on the game's events, past and present, I wanted to keep the nature of Guizhong's 'resurrection' rather in the corner of a... natural phenomenon. It's stated within Genshin's own lore that gods never truly die, and we all know that elements never cease to exist either. When Guizhong succumbed to death during the Archon war, the element that she had originally formed from never perished. If anything, everything always returns to dust, but she exists within that concept as she is the element of dust. It's why it lingers at her fingertips and why her attire disintegrates into it at its tips. And Teyvat is littered in ash and dust, and this only accumulates more throughout the centuries. For example, it is my personal (firm) belief that the darkening of the sky above Cuijue Slope is actually a dust cloud, or what we were made to read as 'black dust that choked the heavens' (and still does) as a result of her form having perished so long ago. If so, dust cannot disintegrate any further and/or beyond itself, and it's lingered for thousands of years. Has it possibly grown over-time, and does it pull more ashes into itself? All valid questions, but all in all, if it's dust, that means that it is her.

Keeping this in mind, my concept of her returning is rather simple. As I tie them all so very strongly into their element, and considering that hers is so overbearingly present throughout Teyvat, it is not far fetched by any means to think that the gods could reform from their element after regaining their strength within this phase of 'death' that is not ever final for them. Beyond that, I think it's incredibly dependent on the type of god that they are and what they are tied to, as we know not all of them are tied to a physical element (time, wisdom, to name two examples). With Guizhong being tied to dust (and ash and chalk, as Albedo notes the significance of in the creation life in his character story), I think it may be easier for her to do so, as long as she's capable of, in essence, using something as an energy battery. This simply leaves me with that latter and the timing for her return.

While I had originally decided on the Moonchase Festival, due to its tie to the moon, or specifically, the full moon (a meta for another time); I was a little silly and entirely forgot one monumental detail about Lantern Rite. It must have been a night during which my mind took a little stroll down the pebble beach. But again, I digress. The detail is as follows:

Lantern Rite is a festival in Liyue celebrated on the first full moon of the year and lasts for five days.

What is more symbolical than two of Liyue's founders to be tied to the new year in one way or another; a nation that celebrates its traditions and honours its forebears as it does? But outside of that, this doesn't come without inherent reasons for her directly as well. To reform as she does, especially to redraw into an appearance that perished long ago; it wouldn't be as simple as putting one's mind to it; one would, additionally, likely need a separate body of energy to generate the power needed to accomplish this. Again, pending the incoming meta, the celestial body she's tied to, the moon, when it's at its most significant in either power or symbolical importance (the faith/belief from humanity). A year's first full moon.

Remember the lone glaze lily that overlooks Liyue Harbor? It would be occurring on that cliffside, not chosen out of any notion of romanticism per se, but simply because of how it's one of the 'items' that she has always had such an inherently strong tie to (as we know, when she passed, the glaze lilies dwindled in number significantly, even if that had more to do with the land being ridden of tragedy), much more so than any other. Not only that, but Liyue Harbor represents the area that houses most of the people that are descendants of those that once lived in the Guili Assembly, who were in part, her people. That is another tie, for humanity is exceedingly important to her. Beyond that, from the cliffside there is a fully unobstructed view of the moon even before it reaches its apex as it rises in the east.

What does it look like? It mostly happens in the veil of nighttime, so the entire occurrence would hardly be noticeable to the human eye, nor does any mortal seem to venture out to that location habitually (and as for immortals, Zhongli and Madame Ping are likely its only visitors). But as dusk settles upon the land, motion is found in the dust cloud above Cuijue Slope. Flecks separate from it one by one, and as they do, it thins out, releasing the area of its gloom, joining flecks of dust and ash that gather from all sides of Teyvat to that one cliffside into a small zephyr of sorts. And it takes a long time, it's slow at first, and the higher the moon reaches, the faster they are carried on the wind, or rather, they themselves cause a breeze simply by their motion. And in the midst of this, as the moon dims, seeming a little less luminous than any other full moon throughout the year (but nothing too odd or inherently noticeable), the flecks gather into a form, one recognisable to anyone who knew her in days long passed. I can see it taking hours, and at its peak, it's a rush of wind that's caused by the whirl of them, and the more the moon dims, the brighter the form held within the flecks becomes, and the fuller and clearer it becomes: the same garments, the same hair, the same sleeves. She re-manifests into a solid and corporeal form as she once was, over a period of numerous hours. This would, however, leave her drained of lot of her power for possibly weeks, but ultimately, she would return to how she was, as they all are.

Keep thinking about what happens after the Shadows in Witchdrop drabble and I think I kinda have it pinned down.

Selena's Corridors of Darkness aren't really reliable and can be volatile if anyone other than herself or those with the Kingdom-Hearts edition [Org. XII] black cloaks walk/falls/dives into one. Her destination could literally be anywhere.

But for simplicity's sake, that corridor takes her to Idyllshire where she takes a recovery break, a haircut because I know she'd accidentally fry her hair with that thundaza spell, and some adventuring where she'd meet and eventually befriend Roundrox.

She will call herself Selena Wolfsong again because Artemis died at the North Shroud, pushed off the cliff. Her progress regresses. Unable to trust anyone, she adventures and often takes quests alone.

Eventually, Selena will leave Idyllshire to deliver the letters and the Dragoon soul stone she had found and trek all the way to Ishgard. The delivery does not go well and she ends up fleeing. This will open up a questline where the deceased's young child wants to try to return the soul stone back to her. Unlike Selena, they are aware that the stone chose her. She just thought it was a shiny, lucky rock.

Selena will try to make her way back to Gridania. She had left behind Lisanna the squirrel and Squackers the griffin cub and she misses them. She also wants to dig up and reclaim her backpack at the Bramble Patch but does not want to run into Carlisle again. Or anyone else at Gridania who knew Artemis for that matter.

She will be likely to send Umbra to fetch Lisanna and Squackers. Knowing Umbra, this will very much cause chaos since Umbra's body is made from darkness and will likely be mistaken for a Voidset or a dangerous familiar conjured by dark magic. But the two critters will remember him from when they took naps together with Sel.

So I sat down the other day and went through the crane wives albums and some other songs to assign to Ninjago characters and I've finally sat down and decided to write the post out. The content are going to be under cut because this post will certainly be too long. I'm going to go album by album here starting with Coyote Stories and ending Here I Am: From The Listening Room.

okay, here we go!

Coyote Stories

Keep You Safe: in some ways, I like to interpret part of this song as relating to Nya's perfectionism, especially within Possession. The bridge especially and lines "What if the steps I take turn out to be mistakes? How can someone like me learn to say "come what may"?" (X)

Allies or Enemies: this is Jay and Cole to me from Rebooted to ToE. Specifically, from Cole's perspective. The song has a lot of regret and bitterness in it that I just think fits so well. The first verse and second verse ("you owe me ears from dropping eaves"), and the bridge are all so clear to me. The bridge, "what happens now? do we have another go (oh) do we bow out and take our separate roads, I'll admit I've had my doubts (oh) but I want to be let in not out (oh) I want to be let in now out", reads to me like Cole's sudden giving in and desperation in their match in ToE. (X)

Hard Sell: this one's a little loser but it reminds me of Lloyd struggles to keep himself strong and straight with everything that gets thrown at him, all the stress. To be The Green Ninja (X).

Little Soldiers: Young Garmadon and Wu, I think. It's their doomed brotherhood, the way they loved each other clearly as impulsive youth ("on the broken backs of all the words we spared, like little soldiers in the trenches, it was a march we made through ruin and despair but we held hands all the while") but ultimately Wu couldn't keep his brother. The bridge reminds me of the war. (X)

Metaphor: Harumi, obviously. There's really no debate, it's her fake mask as the Jade Princess, it's her relationship to Lloyd even. "I've gotten good at leaning on metaphors, I've gotten good at leaning on someone else's page, I cut my teeth on second hand sentiments, you can't trust a single thing I say" -> princess era. It's a sweetly bitter song, chalk full of implications of trauma. The line "but I always dig up bones in your sympathy, I can't trust a single thing you say" is relevant to her relationship with Lloyd, I feel. (X)

Of Everlong: This is a lovely and very soulful song, short and sweet. It's reminiscent of Pixane, to me, specifically from Pixal's perspective. There's a certain connectiveness in being in someone's head. "and if my lover will not hear it take my voice and take my spirit leave weakened and dig my hole only my lover not I can keep my soul" vs "I do not know if there is anything after this life for beings such as you or I, but if there is, I will find you there. Goodbye my Zane." (X)

New Discovery: Fairly simple and not to deep, but this is a Misako song. Adventurer and explorer, and all (X).

The Moon Will Sing: I want to preface two things, A) this interpretation is very much looser and a little less connected t the full original meaning of the song and a little more based in reworking it to fit the characters and B) Wu haters will be stabbed by my mighty and large sword. This is Morro and Wu, on a level. "I shine only with the light you gave me", the light here i the green ninja prophecy,something Morro latched onto to prove his wroth, who is, who is to Wu. The entire song as an air of bitter grief I think fit's Morro and Wu's story. Morro could've grown up and been something more than a half baked angry ghost chasing a dream from 40 years ago, but he wasn't, "I could've been anyone, anyone." (X) (X) (<- an extra link to the demo of the song!! I find it rather lovely)

(Extra note on The Moon Will Sing, I could also see this being a song about Zane/The Ice Emperor and Vex.)

Rockslide: this is about to be very unsurprising, I associate this with Cole! There's obviously the title but generally I think the energy of the song is very Cole-like, in the fun sense. There's also the lines about feeling the "quakin honey I feel it deep" which is rather self explanatory. (X)

The Hand That Feeds: I'm shaky on this one simply because I don't remember or know her character very well, but Akita. Has a lot of mention of wolves and is a very angry song against systemic oppression (though, in the song it's anti-capitalism lol). (X)

Sleeping Giants: another Cole song, mostly based on the presence of mountains, and the 'calling' aspect of the song. I also tend to associate songs with strong drums like in this with Cole (like Drumming Song by Florence and the machine) (X).

Never Love An Anchor: I've seen this song go around actually, mostly with Misako. Which, I agree with! However, I consider it a dual song with her and Garmadon. Specifically, their season one selves. It's Misako leaving Lloyd at that boarding school, it's Garmadon being so absent even though he so clearly loves his son (and despite his evilness, he doesn't seem to wish Lloyd to follow in his footsteps). The first verse really resonates with me as being Misako, clumsy hands and trying her best, and all. The last verse however, is Garmadon ("I am selfish I am broken I am cruel") and so is the line "With this heart of mine that's guilty not remorseful." If you haven't heard this song, I truly, truly recommend it, it's gut wrenching imo. (X)

Okay! We've reached the end of Coyote Stories. That's 11/12 songs out of the albums, the best ratio we have on this listing I believe. Moving onto Foxlore now!

Foxlore:

Nothing At All: when I was looking at this song, trying to decide who to apply it to, I ended up getting kind of emotional. It's Zane, post Ice Emperor specifically. In his self-dehumanization. I'm just going to list out the lyrics that made me incredibly sad lol. "Happy is the man who wants for nothing happy is the lair happiness itself is desire", "heart broken men long to feel nothing to free themselves from strife handle pain, pain doesn't define a man it sure lends an hand getting measured in the sweeter parts of life". (X)

Down The River: Lloyd, post Garmadon revival and Crystallized. All his bitter feeling towards his father, and the angry abandonment issues. The first verse ("I've been wishig that you'd prove me wrong, that you'd come clean and rue the damage done, restore my faith in you, but you've got no reaosn to") and fifth ("Now, tell me, when you start again where will you house your skeletons? Or will they stay behind? Your settlement in kind?") especially. (X)

Can't Go Back: Zane, post Ice Emperor, again. It's that guilt man, I don't really have more to explain but know it makes me Sad. (X)

Turn Out The Lights: Jay, this is mostly about an anxiety head-canon lol, considering the song is about a racing mind. (X)

Ribs: this song is so Nya it hurts. It pretty strongly connects to her arc over the seasons about self independence, identity, and misogyny. It's her finding her place as who she is, and taking back things as her own ("It is mine, it is mine). Verse three I like to connect to her element being of Wojira's and how that is so symbolic of her place in the team (and why she reflect Morro so well in a lot of ways but I won't get into that), "time has changed the metaphor, now, dust is not the orgin of bone, little girl don't let them sell you any armor all your ribs are still your own". There's also the main chorus, which, god I got sad when I looked at it from the angle of Seabound. "The dark doesn't frighten me I chose to close my eyes, it is mine, it is mine, the night doesn't frighten me I chose to let it thrive, it is mine, it is mine." (X)

Not The Ghost: perhaps a little literal but, Cole in his Day Of The Departed era. Though, it connects to his feelings at the time more than his literal ghost-hood. It pretty strongly captures the depression, low self esteem, and growing urgency (around the Latter half of the song). You could also read some of the lyrics as paralleling the events of DOTD itself. (X)

And that's it for Foxlore, that is...6/10 I think, so not the worst either. Fun fact, this next section is my favorite album as a whole :)!

The Fool In Her Wedding Gown:

Icarus: now who else would this be about if not the doomed siblings of the series? Of course it's Wu and Garmadon. I think of this pretty strongly as paralleling their 'adventures' as young children, and then the war. "Oh my brother, oh my brother, oh my brother, who have you become in the wake of all that's happened here", yeah. The entire energy of the song has that weird sad, yet hopeful regret Wu seems to carry around with him in regards to Garmadon, it's a very loving song. (X)

Fangs: Nya, the entire song carries the desperate anger she has, the longing for independence and strength. It's bitter too, in a way that reminds me of her from Rebooted to Skybound. "I am not your highness, a damsel left helpless by fright, I am a lioness, fierce as I walk through the night", "a man will never know his bride"...and well, she was a bride once, wasn't she? (X)

That's it for TFIHWG actually, I know, sad sad ratio but I am also not suprised because a lot of the songs on this album are rather specific.

Safe Ship, Harbored:

New Colors: this one is really simple, Lloyd, and only because it reminds me about how consistently stressed he is lol. (X)

The Crooked, The Cradle: This is a Morro song, to me. The idea of were you doomed from the start (the cradle), or was this purely because of the choices you made? The line "can anyone hear me? The crooked are smiling, they know me the best" strongly reminds me of him and the Preeminent. (X)

(Additionally, this came to me as i was writing this section but I could also see this song being Garmadon coded.)

Caleb Trask: Oni Lloyd! The entire song is about the concept of having 'bad in your blood' and how you simply have to embrace it. That you cannot let it chain you, that love will bring you back. Reminds me of him. (X)

I Ain't Done: if you look at this from a purely conceptual level and energy wise, this song is very Morro. It's got his vengeful, jealous and vicious return from the dead to wreck havoc vibes lol, the lyrics in a literaly sense, however, do not fit. (X)

We're nearing the end now! kind of! 4/12 ratio.

Here I Am: Live From The Listening Room:

High Horse: Jaya, actually. From Rebooted to Skybound, from Nya's pov. Mostly, I connect it to that weird, unhealthy desperation Jay had for Nya and Nya's desire to be free of it, her own self. "You're a sweet heart, you're a curse, you're a passing grade on a low, low bar, you've got your eyes open, I know your worth, but I've got so many things in my hungry, hungry heart", sums it up pretty well. (X)

Here I Am: This one's Cole, but it's a bit of a mixture on why. First up, it's again DOTD era Cole with all his being forgotten angst and anxiety. Secondly, and maybe more painfully, it really reminds me of his and Lou's relationship early on. Neglected child core, and all that ("I promised myself I'd learn to be the one who leaves, with no more roots to tie me down, it's just a different kind of lonely"). The last verse is strongly reminiscent of his pure stubbornness, too. (X)

Queen Of Nothing: Solidly Harumi, a lot on vibes and mood. It's got a dark, sort of unsatisfied sound to it. The chorus screams her , "Isn't this what you wanted? Time sure feels like it's running out, just finish what you started, queen of nothing wearing such a heavy crown." (X)

Sowing Seeds: this one's a bit more general, it reminds me of Possession, the season. It's also a very moody song, having a tired, haunted sort of energy. It also fits nicely into the theme of consequences in Possession. Hollow Moon: fairly simple, Hollow Moon reminds me of Cole's fear on DOTD. It's got that spooky and paranoid sort of energy. (X)

The Wolf: this both a Harumi and Morro, bearing that bitter, self destructive energy. (X)

Now, that concludes all the albums thus far, and I know I sad we'd leave off on HIA:LFTLR, however, I am a lair. There's a couple songs that aren't on albums that's be a shame not to mention.

Scars: this is a newly released song! I believe it connects back to Never Love An Anchor, and as such, it fits Lloyd very well. Specifically in relation to Garmadon, post revival. It so so fits all that anger in him at his dad ("cause I was born with a whole in my heart, yeah, we were fucked from the start, tell me it's inevitable I'd end up with scars from falling down, down, we were always meant to fall apart"). My Nagademon 2024 project

After a month of my inktober challenge of tying a ttrpg to each prompt, now it's November 's time to be busy with NaGaDeMon, a month long game jam I have done for the last few years with more or less success.

This year I am going to do Witch-Knights of Azulmarr

It all started with seeing a picture of a witch knights on social media. It all started with an idea for a character creation tarot system. It all started with a thought of implied system. Where does that lead ?

You are Witch Knight of Azulmarr, a prestigious order of the Kingdom. You were chosen according to prophecies. Now you must find the Major Arcanas to restore the kingdom to glory. 

The main idea for creation is thus : 

Separate the major Arcana from the minor arcanas

Divide the minor into : Pages/knight/queen/king together, Sword, Wands, Cup, Pentacle. 

For creation, draw a card from each of these stacks

Sword : you weapon, your style of knight fighting

Gives you abilities for when there is a Sword card in your hand of fate, and one when you discard a sword card ( plus one when you discard  a sword + another suit, thinking about it)

Wand : your preferred type of magic

Gives you abilities for when there is a Wand card in your hand of fate, and one when you discard a wand card. Plus a Wand +Pentacle for creating an artefact linked to your magic

Cup : your place of origin

Gives info on region

Gives you the trigger for drawing a card

Pentacle : a magic artefact in your position

Activated by discarding a Pentace card

Court : your prophesied rival/enemy

No mechanical effects

My idea was to make it semi diegetic, like based on old extracts of poems by this invented poet/prophet. Each card drawn would have a two line part of a poem and all of them together form the character prophecy That’s where the Lost Verses book comes in. The lost part that no player should see. Only written by the poet. May be seen in game if the players find them

Will gives info for the Wand card : the secret when the pc uses more than one card. For example, death magic will learn that the entire world was a battlefield. The Fate magic will learn that the kingdom prophecies are…fake. That they can choose. 

And it will gives info on the major arcana and how to obtain them. Ideas for ow CHariot : in the mountain, there is a chariot stuck there, never moving, no matter who tried. The one to make it move will gain the arcana

The Major arcana will be placed in a Past, present, future spread, which the one player who gained it choosing where to put it or IF to put it. 

Some will involve the rivals. Some can be gained when a PC accomplish a certain action, no matter where or when. And the World arcana will just be “Come find me”

I don't know if it's Claire nakti herself that does her own research or if she works with an occultist but the person behind her work is absolutely talented, and insanely well versed into the occult world. Right now I was doing some research on Ancient Egypt Mysteries and let me tell you that this lady has an insane intuition, the amount of observation that must have gone into this work, if she is the one behind it, she is truly a mystic, and the most surprising thing is that she reveals such a superficial part of it to her audience on ytb at least. As somebody quite young who is interested in astrology (I'm 18), I'm just flabbergasted by the things that I find and see: Astrology is truly real in fact it is the key behind understanding the world and it's symbols.

if you are interested in the occult Astrology is a non-negociable, Ancient Egyptians were so advanced because of their knowledge and use of Astrology, Astrology seems to be the things that link together multiple concepts and ideas that you find in every culture, if you don't have this knowledge you will definitely have a hard time establishing those links unless you have an insane intuition and a lot of inate wisdom which is quite rare in this era. Anyways Claire Nakti is definitely talented and cultured and she doesn't reveals much that's why people love to criticize her "superficial" content however I don't think that if she offered the type of content that her research allows she would have an audience at all most people wouldn't want to hear this type of knowledge which very much feels like an anthropology lecture.

So I have always knew how restricted my occult knowledge was, however now that I can count this on a number of pages I don't think that I will be ever comfortable with opening my mouth on this subject for the next 6 years at least 😅 my God there is so much that is to know it's bonkers 😫😫

😈😈 I’m cooking up some comics. Anyways “To Prevent Consequence” is the title for my American Revolution arc in Nor’easter verse. The first of these I made back in April to help introduce major characters in this arc in a fun way. I will note that these “cheat sheets” are an oversimplification of positions at the beginning of the American Revolution. I’ll keep this as a navigational post, and I’ll try to update it as each comic page comes out. The End: Most of the 13 colonies see no other option, but to agree with their people and declare independence from Arthur thus putting their lives on the line. However some colonies remain on the fence. Furthermore, the colonies can’t seem to agree upon one of their own to lead them, or really have as a figurehead. In general the colonies can’t seem to even decide if they want to be independent together, or strike it out on their own. Henry (Massachusetts), a fierce advocate of independence, and an advocate of remaining together proposes that his cousin Alfred Jones, who was once Plymouth colony (yet his exact role in the present is unclear), be their figurehead while they unite together. However Henry & Alfred face great opposition from their peers.

The Ashes: Following the Battle of Long Island, Jennie Van Slyke (New York State) wakes up in Albany, hurt and disoriented. There she finds her longtime rival and now ally in independence, Henry with her.

You may be familiar with the Haudenosaunee as the Iroquois Confederacy, some suspect the name Iroquois comes from an insult and was later adapted by colonists. I put their names in their respective languages so Mr. Seneca (O-non-Dowa-Gah), Mr. Mohawk (Kaniek’kehá:ka), Mr. Onondaga (Onoñda’gegá”), Cayuga (Gayoghó:no’), Oneida (Onyota’a:ka), & Ms. Tuscarora (Skarùr:re).
