As you were on your phone, headphones in, listening to music and colouring in a book, you hear the door open. Its your boyfriend Art, you smile and jump up to give him a hug. "I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" you squeal in excitement as you hug him tight. He looks down and smiles as he hugs back, not as tight, and kisses your forehead softly. You hold him until he gets a bit uncomfortable and pushes you away. "sorry.." you whisper in embarrassment. you then go back to the couch and get back to colouring. Art sits next to you and watches you colour with bright markers and crayons. You look at him with a smile, "what?" you ask as his eyes stay on yours. He then grabs your hand and holds it before brining it to his lips and kissing it. You blush and look away before feeling a familiar feeling. You look at his lap and then look back up. "can i sit there?" you ask still flustered from the kiss on your hand. He nods and pats his lap as he watches you climb over him, legs on each side of him, and sit. You then look into his eyes before kissing his lips. Your lips intertwining immediately. Art moves his hands around your hips and pushes the kiss into a small makeout. Your phone rings and pulls both, you and art, out of yalls "makeout". You pick up your phone realizing its just a spam caller. You turn your phone off and look at him again before saying, "im hungry..", He looks at you confused before rolling his eyes. You look at him with a dirty look, "what? you calling me fat huh? you think im big huh?" you accuse. He looks at you and shakes his head quickly, you start laughing and then randomly stop. "Art im really hungry.. can we go to the store or something?" you ask, "ill get you something and you dont have to drive!" you add. He then silently sighs and nods before shaking his head, singing he doesnt want anything. You smile and slide off his lap running to get the keys, as arts still stuck on the couch just looking at you. "what are you waiting for??" you ask, trying to get him off the couch. he then sighs and gets up walking over to you. You walk out of the house making sure hes still behind you before walking over to the car, parked in the front of the house, and you open the passenger door first, waving your hand towards the seat "ladies first" you say with a cocky smirk on your face. He rolls his eyes and then gives you the finger before getting in. you walk to the dirvers seat and open it for yourself as you jump up and into the car. You put the key into the ignition, and put the car into reverse as you back out into the street. Art moves his hand onto you thigh as you start to drive. You stop at a stoplight and turn to look at him. He's already staring at you, you continue to stare back untill the light turns green. You drive until you see a 7/11 and you pull into the parking lot. You look at art and smile as you open the door. "you wanna come in or stay in here?" you ask, he then points to himself and the door and he begins opening it. You walk to his side and hold his hand tightly as yall walk into the store together. You grab a couple snacks and you grab a soda before looking up at art to see if he wants anything. He shakes his head, no, and you nod again walking to the cahsier. you hand him the money and you leave with a smile. You hold his hand as you sit down on the ground. You open your snacks and start eating them. Thats when you see Art eyeing your food. "you want some now, dont you?" you smile as he nods. You hand him a chip and you watch him devour it like hes starving (which he probably is). Once you and art finish the snacks Art stands up and walks towards the car, leaving you behind. You pout as he leaves you, and you run after him. "Whyd you leav me!?" you ask while grabbing his hand tightly. He shrugs and then silently laughs. You roll your eyes and walk with him to the car.

when companies predict/speculate elriel is next I am actually glad Elriels are a minority in the fandom. Because no one can say they are pandering to get click and views. If they wanted to pander for views, they'd write about GA/EL. But none of all these companies even acknowledge GA/EL. I mean look at TODAY, scrolling past GA commens with 1000s of likes, to like an unpopular comment about Elriel being endgame.

Also, if it was just one or two times, I'd kind fo just laugh it off as a good time for Elriels. But when it's so many and within a single year, close to the announcement... it does kind of feel like a soft launch... and I don't care if the Queens of delulu calls me delusional for simply considering the possibility it's a soft launch. We deserve some good times for staying in this cesspool of a fandom for so long because of our love for Elain and Elriel.

Just wanted to create an article to get views, likes, engagement or whatever they would have mentioned all 3 ships and talked about how fans have been speculating that elriel or gwynriel could be next. What I find just sad is antis insulting the journalists and calling the article AI which btw - is a huge, disrespectful, claim to make especially if you have 0 proof. If any of that was true, and E! wanted to gain attraction from the acotar/book community- they would have also mentioned gwynriel, why? Because for the past 4 years since ACOSF’s release - fans have also heavily suspected acotar 5 will follow gwynriel as the next couple. Yet the journalist mentioned no other ship aside from Elriel. And if AI was used for this article -> A simple engine like chat gpt, would also bring up Gwynriel. In fact - according to chat: Gwynriel is the biggest, sensational ship coming from acosf that has a huge fan following. If E! Had mentioned gwynriel, then their article would have increased 10x in popularity.

Quite literally no one is taking this as confirmation that elriel is next, no one is daft enough to believe we’re going to get the acotar 5 announcement from a news outlet before the author herself.

But its when you combine everything together that it is very clear this is a soft launch. You have TIME - talking about elriel, spotify and audible which Sjm works with, now E! Which also referenced Time and then E! Also mentioning Sjm talking about rejected mates. Do antis think BB is unaware that this is happening? Ofc not. They know that these companies are talking about elriel. Its been made clear that an announcement is coming soon. It makes the most logical sense for it to be around spring - thats like 5/6 months from now. Its about this time, when soft launches occur to prepare the audience for the real deal. BB knows who the next couple is. At this point, Mass would’ve told them. How bad does it look that you have multiple, huge, credible sources talking about elriel only for gwynriel to be announced? BB & Sjm do not want that sort of confusion going on for such a huge release. Even these companies wouldn’t want to lose credibility by being wrong.

No one here is saying this is confirming elriel - but it is definitely a good, positive thing. I doubt whoever is writing/liking elriel content from these companies know who is endgame but they will have been aware the general directions the books are going in. Elriel make the most logical sense. Unbiased people easily come to that conclusion.

Thing is anon, if the roles were reversed, you and I + every elriel reading this, know that antis would have had a field day. They would have been just as happy as we are, rubbing in our faces that such credible sources are mentioning their ships. But thats not happened so they’re left with being bitter, petty, spiteful little haters. It is disheartening- not at all surprising- that antis are mocking elriels. I expected nothing less from such a mean group of people. The fact they’re going around claiming how unbothered they are but at the same time, have not stopped talking about elriel, “debunking” elriel or elriel stans goes to show how much they are panicking and trying to delude themselves that this doesn’t matter. But it does.

Synopsis: poor Michael has never learned to love himself because for his whole life hes only cared what god thinks and wants and not for his own well-being so niiri helps him find positive traits about himself in order to love himself properly.

Authors note: i was inspired by a favorite scene in a black and white french movie called angel-a but i reversed the role where niiri takes the role of the angel women in the movie where as Michael is the guy shes helping him find self love and esteem.

A beautiful evening it was today, the wind was perfectly cool and chilly enough to wrap around your arms into your lovers warmth.

But for niiri and Michael they only stood away a bit from eachother, elbows barley touching as there arms where crossed relaxing on the bridge watching the scenery of the city.

They had just finished accomplishing another extermination together a successful one at that. Now finally alone together enjoying the view, streets filled with the stains of there enemy, grinning in pride as the taboo couple enjoy the view in silence so peaceful it felt and yet something was a miss..

A soft sigh that was filled in woe caught the attention of the Harlequin demon turning her head over to see Michaels eyes ponder down in the dark streets with flickering street lights.

" Angelica whats the matter?" She eagirly wanted to be closer to his touch but best until he signaled her to do so for now.

He wont lie but Michael really did appreciate niiris concern during time like this when his mind wonders of to not so great places. such as judgement from the heavens, if they found out how filthy hes become with associating himself with a demon. To think back when his beloved lucifer hyung was so called veiled his eyes by such unclean creatures only to have been fated by the most irony of all things to happen in his life, to fall in love with one. In the end he accepted these feelings, yet it still didnt change the fact that the fear creepily lingered deep within his psyche slowly trying to take full of him. Before it could get any worse he finally spoke, breaking the silence between them. " Filthy...im filthy, thats whats the matter..." The sound of defeat was loud and clear to niiri now. He was beginning to resent himself over something that should never feel sinful. He moves his head,leaning against hers, aching for those comforting words of hers to echo in his mind to overshadow any negativity within him. Her hand moves to caress his raven locks, soothing him down in the process. " How cruel~ how dare your consciousness play evil tricks on you and make you see ugliness of our relationship.." niiri tip toes her fingertips around his scalp, then traces them around " Its never been ugly my dear, its nothing but beauty what you and i have~" and yet he couldnt see that. No matter how much he tried it always creeped up. And god how he hated feeling this way about himself. " Oh dolly..." He lifts a hand to cup her face. " Why must i suffer?" Then niiri tilts his head face hers. Luckily the streets where completely empty for them to be a little bit vulnerable with each other.

" let me ask you this my angelica~ do you love yourself?" Michael only blinked in confusion of her surprising question. "Pardon?" A small chuckle leaves niiris lips. " The fact you dont have a proper answer speaks volume deary~" with the same hand niiri moves from his head to shoulders, rubbing them to avoid any outburst just in case. " ...is this a joke? If course i love myself! God created me i am the angel of decapitation and bring justice by destroying every demon on sight! To rid of this hellhole of its sin! If god were still here hed praise me!...if only he where here to see what i had just accomplished...". As soon as he sniffled immediately niiri used her blouse to help wipe some tears away. " Thanks dolly..." " And you just proved my point, you don't actually love yourself. You love more your god than you do yourself..." She scoots him closer to her. " You love him so much that his opinion matters most, your afraid of his opinion about you and me more than anything yeah? More than what the angels would think?" He said nothing except a gentle nod. His face hiding on her chest. " Oh Michael...you really do suffer so much." She looked up the sky to watch god himself for a moment, Michaels spent year of his life only caring about gods words and ideology that hes never bothered to think much for himself, and the fact he was ok with that worried niiri alot.

The doll demon herself did love god, after all without him Michaels existance would not exist. She has always been grateful of that. God fated them to be together for a good reason she was most certain of that. Perhaps this was an opportunity to finally help Michael see the purity of there love. She was going to help him find love within himself, to finally see that. something thats been long overdue to be done. " Come with me, i want to show you your worth somewhere private." She lends a hand out. " How could an angel like myself be worthy of anything now that ive sinned..." Michaels body felt a force walking him with niiri, she dragged him to a nearby public restroom. "Wait here let me inspect" She went in to check around if any demons where hiding. Thankfully none where seen seemed many retreated back to there base. " All clear, now come inside~" hesitantly he walked in, just to make sure and double checked he inspected each stalls and even the small closet sure enough he felt much better. " Stand here next to me" when he walks foward he looks at niiri with wonder in his face as to what she is up to, she then points at the mirror. " My angelica tell me...what do you see?" Crossing her arms waiting for an answer. What on earth did she mean by this? It was obvious it was just them two, or perhaps she wanted him to look outside the box? Michael pondered as he stared deeply. " I suppose..." His eyes ponder to niiri, due to a fight her face looked messy and cracked. Her pigtails let loose as strands of her hair scattred in uneven places. That didnt take any beauty away from her infact it only made her more beautiful. Michael always found her bloodshed mode aftermath to be far more breathtaking combine that with her joy his heart skipped and so inevitably he blushed. " I see a beautiful demon who took my breathe away..." Niiri was caught of guard then smiled with a giggle. " Ahh thank you my angel~" gives a small peck on his cheek.

" but what else do you see?" Michael looked back towards the mirror again this time struggling to see what could possibly be there? "Nothing?" Two hands where met behind his shoulder " nuh uh~ there is something worth seeing, look closer. What do you see? Anything worth seeing in that handsome face of yours?" She gently caresses it. Michael Became nervous, gulping down his insecurities. A small smile creeped up when she mentioned his beauty. But what on earth is there besides that? Surely his divine existence should be enough just what on earth was she seeing that he was failing to see? The more he stared at himself the more irritated he was feeling. That was until when he looked deep within his own eyes in his reflection he could see something...pain years of bottled up emotion's from the past and now. That golden eye of his held it all, a very painful memory. But the other eye, blue as the clearest sky with a lilac circled around it, filled with outmost pride of bieng an angel of authoration and confidence. These eyes have always represented himself and now he is seeing it clearer as his head was slowly getting into a better mindset to understand himself.

" a mask...a mask that shield s me from unveiling the truth of how i feel..." " And what do you feel?" He tried to find the courage to say it ". broken...numb...angry.... explosive...and tired." Niiri wrapped her arms behind him. " Your right Michael, you do feel that. And you feel it everyday. But when your in my dollhouse i see a change. Your happier, because you can finally be yourself without the constant expectations of heavens law...you feel free there but once thats over you regress back to that awful state...my angelica." She tightly squeezes him. Michael let out a shaking sigh, feeling extremely vulnerable at the moment he could break down at any moment. "Niiri...d-dont let go of me..if you do, i fear i-ill..." "I would never let go of you in this moment darling dont worry~ im here, always making sure you stay together~" he turned to place a kiss onto her broken face. " This is why your my savior.." This was a step needing to happen to find self love and it was slowly working he just needed to find it within himself by seeing past his flaws.

" look again my angelica, what else do you see? If you can get past all those flaws of yours what else is there?". Niiri eagirly awaits for him to see the spark shes always seen enough something so precious yet years of bieng locked away for him to see. Scared, he looked back into the mirror, face in shambles as he looks at his imperfect self. Closer he looked within himself. " Intimidating?" " Haha yeah you are! But what else?" " This is beginning to get irritating my dear what is it that you see in me that i dont? " She points to his eyes in there reflection. " Closer love, look deep into yourself like youve never done." He annoyingly sighed but he was so curious as to what it was he was missing. He looked sharply at himself anxiety rising that he had to face his weaknesses in order to find the answer to something so simple, until he realized. All hes ever described himself where things givin to him as titles by god, the things he was ment to represent. No wonder he couldnt see much else about himself, all hes ever known was those things he just said to niiri. Christ for once he felt at loss. Was there something he was known for positively about himself? Infact there was. " Do you need a hint? " " Dare I say yes?" With a sudden sound of beads shaking gained michaels attention immediately, he knew exactly what niiri pulled out that without even thinking he snatched from her. Nuzzling his favorite toy that he hadnt touched in a good while. " My sunshine! Oh how ive missed you!" He laughed with such enthusiasm that all his worries went away with a snap of a finger except it was a toy in this case. " My dolly thank you, this just made my day entirely!" She smiles " now look back at the mirror and youll finally have your answer that youve been desperately looking for~" When he did he noticed a huge change within himself. He was happy. He looked more peacful, not a look of ready to kill on sight for once.

No infact just like his priced possession his sunflower toy. He looked playful, cheerful and kind. This was how he used to be back when his big brother was still around until he wasnt and that all changed. It was all returning back to him, he finally sees the old love he used to have of himself right before him. " I....i am happy and i am kind...perhaps in my own unique way i am that not alot of people see but i am." " Yes yes! And? " Nods up and down looking towards the toy another hint. Michael tilts his head looking at it and he smiles. " I remember when lucifer once told me i looked as happy as this sunflower when i smiled..." Such wonderful memories these where to Michael that he hugged his toy close to him finding comfort in it. " When i look at myself, i am as happy as a sunflower..." Then with a finger he touches the edge of his lips as he smiles. " When i think about that, i realize now how much i love my own smile...i love when I'm actually happy..." Clutching his childhood toy tears of joy begin forming. Finally he properly began to love himself. The heartfelt moment made niiri clap for him she was so proud of him her mission was a success. " Bravo angelica! You see? You finally gave yourself love you filled your wounds with nurture thats been long needed!" She picked Michael up, swinging him around. Both of them laughing with each other. " I certainly did dolly, i dont think i recall ever feeling this positive about myself in recent times."

She has to agree thou the most time shes seen him like this was in her playhouse to play make believe but to see him be more like that in reality was a breath of fresh air. " And you know why that's it Michael?" He cocks an eyebrow to her statement " It did not just start with loosing god but your brother aswell" he grew silent but stayed composed in an attempt to listen. " He was your big brother, and brothers are ment to love and protect his family. But when he did what he did that day..." She had thought about doing this for a long while and now she is taking the opportunity in doing so. She places her delicate fingers onto his fabricated eye. " N-niiri?" Oh how he loved this womens care. " You felt betrayed, heartbroken and confused that it left your heart filled with a void of revenge and thus no room for love anymore not even with yourself. Am i wrong?" " No i suppose your not..." All Michaels ever seen is the color red, from anger to rage like no other always focusing on taking out demons for what they took from him has taken such a heavy toll on him. Without proper support of a close one he felt lost but finally he didn't feel that way anymore. Demon or not he was glad to have somone like niiri who was so pateint with him never giving up on wishing his psyche to get better one day. " You know Michael...i relate to your tragedy alot" he was taken back from that comment " wait you do?" She nods " back in hades i was created to be the playmate of his majesty Leviathan, we where like brother and sister to each other" he was shocked to hear this sudden information " all this time you both had a familial relationship?! Consider me intrigued" niiri laughs. " I was pretty much created by his legion in order to make him happy and distract him from what happend to him when he got captured..." Suddenly niiri's joy faded, looking tensed up. Michael took note of this and offered to hold her in his arms, moving her face to lay on the crook of his neck

" its ok if you dont want to talk about it my dear, sometimes it pains me to even open up about lucifer hyung~ i understand you." Like a gentleman he caresses her hair, treating her the same as she has for him in his most vulnerable moments. " I failed him Michael...i failed to make him happy! his court was not happy with me i was alienated!" Michael squeezes her in his embrace, not to tight he wouldn't want to break her. " You told him you where an angel didnt you?" Silence. Warm tears stained his white button up shirt but he did not mind it. If she needed to let it all out so be it. " I did...he at first took it as me bieng a doll doing it as roleplay until he realized i was serious..." Michael seemed to understand a bit better how she was treated back at her home knowing now the king of envy knew of her delusion. Although he did wonder if they ever attempted to help her. Regardless it seems shes put those days behind her but the wounds linger on her forever. " I dont think theyd understand you to the fullist my dear, however if one day you ever reconcile ill support you. Just as you support me." He lifts her chin up to look directly at his eyes, they felt ethereal to look at so much so niiris woe went away with how mesmerizing they where. " You think hed miss his sister?" Michael shrugs " i cannot say for sure. But maybe he does who knows." For once she felt a small ray of hope light up within her but leviathan was sure as hell scary she certainly doesn't plan on approaching her past anytime soon or if she even wants to. " And i pray that one day you and your lucifer hyung reconcile and be a family again. If im bieng honest i think you have a higher chance than mine." Her strand of her that was blocking her face was then moved to the side of her ear by Michael. " Never say never my angel."

With the shake of his rattler he lends it to niiri " since your my lover you are the person i trust most and thus I trust you with the most precious thing to me." Her eyes widen " oh Michael i couldn't! " He stops her from giving it back " but you could, besides i think mr sunshine needs to comfort you most right now". He says confidently. " Ill be frank Mr feathers, i appreciate this token of affection very much and ill treasure it!" Wraps her arms around his shoulders. " is it greedy of me to say i want to be comforted by both you and mr sunshine?" Michael rolls his eyes but in a playful manner for her " oooh fine~ ill indulge in your sin of greed~" without warning he picks her up bridal style ready to go back home. " Woah woah woah there! Atleast let me check if no ones outside first!. " A soft snort leaves Michaels mouth. " Nonsense, it seems we scared all the demons away from this area. Ill fly us out like nothing ever happened." Both of them cackle in sync laughing from there devious battle from hours ago that the lower ranking demons needed to retreat from them. " Alright lets go " "Wait angelica" " Hm?" "Im very proud of you today." One last time she leaves a kiss this time on his nose. "And im proud of you for opening up to me about your past. I feel even closer to you knowing we both went thru the same thing." " Now you know your not alone" with a smile from both. Michael lifts his wings and flys out of the area with niiri, a long day it was for them but worth it in the end .

So. Why no 🍊?

I think it hammers home that Schneider was the trigger for Vertin's trauma of the Breakaway Incident, she promised a shelter that didn't exist and Schneider for a while knew she was a dead woman walking, but at the very least with Vertin in those final moments could be selfish.

Tuesday wasn't wrong about Vertin's fear, honestly had she appeared before 1.9 and the Umbrella she would have likely won. However it had "came too late for some", Vertin now has a method to protect everyone, part of the reason why she can now pursue Urd is because of that Umbrella and immunity. No one has to be another Schneider, Ring or Issabella.

But.

Unless when it comes to global more translations reveal more parts of the 2.1 story, many might say the ending was too clean, no casualties (maybe Kayla but Im not entirely sure her fate in CN) and Vertin is on her merry way to Brazil (hopefully in 2.2, but either way the main story is continuing in the next patch as far as I remembered about the 2.0 patches even event stories will tie closer to the plot)

Ive already said before but something probably will happen to Vertin or Matilda in the next update/s.

So far here's my predictions/ speculation: (or I would like to see but either way I look forward to being completely wrong)

Matilda angst (were gonna end up with one less mother in the series)

Vertin will suffer (I mean shes been suffering for most of the story but I think were gonna reach a crisis within the 2. story arc)

Meeting Urd? (This is either Martha, or Bessmert or someone who knows Vertin's mom)

Who the hell Ms Grace is (lack of 2.1 full explanation but I don't think she is Kayla, maybe she is?)

The White Doves of the Foundation making an appearance, mentioned by Constantine in Book 4.

The Guiding One is potentially Arcana, and the goal of the Order of Enlightenment/ Manus is to either resurrect or place her in a vessel (likely Vertin because Arcana kept calling her a puppet and had come to the island for Vertin).

What the hell FMN is doing (seemed he acted separate to the Order of Enlightenment members in Chicago in 2.0 story)

maybe it's because i've been working on my own transfem stevie fic for ages now and so i have my own very specific headcanons, but going through the tag is truly . it's not the greatest experience. for me. there are surface level reasons for this and also far more insidious reasons.

like there is the matter of me not really shipping steddie or harringrove. this is surface level. i just don't like either of their characters and i find the fans of the ships and those characters annoying. this is life in fandom. it means that most of the time, if i want to read a fic about stevie, i must also suffer reading about eddie or billy, neither of whom i care about. again, such is life. it's fine. ship what you want.

but. but. i do not like how transfem stevie gets written a lot of the time either. whether it's in posts or fics. there's a lot of ideas ppl spout that they have not actually examined. many of which feature transphobia/transmisogyny. and i have to see them. and it sucks.

bc. like. why do so many ppl write stevie's bf du jour as gay. like this is often specified. eddie is a gay man who has just found out that his boyfriend wants to be a woman. wow how does eddie feel about that? i dont care. thats what a lot of fics are about tho. yay. eddie isn't even gay, its just a popular headcanon. altho some ppl believe in it so much they've convinced themselves there are hints of it in canon. there isn't. there are some ppl out there who do feel at odds with transfem stevie and eddie dating bc they believe so strongly in gay eddie. which is fine. eddie can be bi. or straight. i think a bi realisation is fun and i think its even more fun when the bi realisation happens in reverse to what is expected. but there are a number of works out there that still insist on eddie calling himself gay. when he has a trans wife. and i do not like that. it feels invalidating to stevie's identity as a trans woman. it's also. it's not about stevie. it's about how her boyfriend feels about his partner transitioning. most of the time.

i also do not like so many ppl feeling the need to explain why stevie and robin aren't dating in this au. like. there's a few reasons why so many of those posts rub me the wrong way. there's some that are obvious. i distinctly remember a post that posited a PANSEXUAL robin and stevie attempting to have casual sex. first off. there's zero need to specify a pansexual robin. it can just be regular old lesbian robin bc lesbians are attracted to women and. forgive me stating the obvious here but. trans women are women.

that's just one post. but there are MANY that state that robin and stevie do not and will never date bc it is "disgusting". that is often the word used. disgusting. it's meant to be funny perhaps? some joke about stevie and robin being sisters and incest is gross. okay. well they aren't sisters. personal headcanon time but i dont think they see themselves as siblings, canonverse or otherwise. i think they're just friends. and i dont like seeing all these posts saying that kissing, having sex with, or dating a trans woman is "disgusting". it upsets me. more than once ive seen robin being upset with/at?? stevie for being attractive to her and still somehow unavailable to her. bc ? she knows that she does some gross/embarrassing thing? they know each other too well? so they can obviously never date. which is. honestly it's just confusing. do you think couples dont know the other farts? that they don't know each other? but again the image invoked is that being with a trans woman would be gross or embarrassing. that's not a fun thing to hear about.

sometimes the reason given is that they've known each other too long. they spent so much time only thinking of each other as friends that it's weird to think about the other in a romantic light. okay that can happen. but again this is usually accompanied with robin being like. kinda mad at stevie for being hot as a woman. so she's attracted to her? but not bc she knows her gross habits too well. but maybe if she had met her now, and not before she transitioned, then they may have gotten together. so the fact that robin knew her as a man is putting her off dating her? wow. that has some implications. i've seen many reasons as to why stevie and robin can't date, except really the most important one: that they don't want to. they're happier just being friends. it never occurred to them to start dating each other bc they're happy with the way they're relationship is. but that rarely comes up. the fact that it would be gross comes up far more often.

you don't have to write about stevie and robin dating. or having sex. or being anything other than friends if you just want them to be friends. seeing this same idea repeated over and over again, that it would be gross for them to be together, just makes it feel like you are overcompensating. like maybe you do believe they could date and be very happy, which actually would be fine. it's a niche au and has very little to do with canon so i don't think it means that you secretly want stobin to date in canon. but honestly? the way ppl speak against stobin dating in this sort of au implies that they are still primarily thinking of canon steve. in a transfem stevie au. which i think colours the way they talk about stevie's relationships, not just with robin but also with other characters. i think they are thinking of canon steve pretending to be a trans woman. which is. well, do i need to say it?

i also can't believe i need to say this but ppl who want to ship a lesbian and a man together will just do that. they already don't care. why would they jump through those hoops of genderbending a male character when they could just write what they want to write? no one is stopping them. you can post whatever you want on ao3, for better or worse, and if you actually delved into the tag you would see that the way transfem (or even cisfem) stobin is written is very different from canon stobin. there are completely different kinks going on. it's as asinine as believing that men will dress up as women to attack women in bathrooms, imo. like. they don't need to do all that, they can just attack women in bathrooms. and they often do. that thought might be too harsh but i do believe it's the same sort of sentiment.

i think that's sort of the crux of my issue with a lot of transfem stevie content. the idea of canon steve is too forefront in her creation. she is a woman but still male enough to date a gay man and also still male enough to not date a lesbian. and it's not about her. it's not about stevie. it's upsetting. i don't like it. i think transfem stevie deserves better.

General information about retroviruses.

Details about The Corruption and theories about how it works inside the body.

SPECIFICALLY ROBBIES viral weird shit. Cause what he has going on is even more fucked up than normal fucked up. Fucked up squared.

Me ranting about skin necrosis and why I shouldn't have just. Thown it in there because I thought it would look fucky wucky.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT RETROVIRUSES:

As most people know, a virus is a cell that enters the body of a host and alters its DNA to turn that hosts cells into virus making factories. This is what allows viruses to duplicate and spread through the body so quickly. But whats that? 'What makes retroviruses different from other viruses?' I hear you asking? WELL EXCELLENT QUESTION THATS A PERFECT PLACE TO START. A retrovirus is different because its method of self duplication involves an enzyme called reverse transcriptase. This makes retroviral infection PERMANENT. Even if the virus is defeated by the immune system, those changes stick around. The phrasing used was 'ipso facto mutagenic' meaning 'by the fact itself/inevitable'.

...Which is kinda metal honestly I want it on a tee shirt (definetly not thinking of Amadeus saying that to Robbie as he tries his best to explain theres no way to undo whats going on with him. nahhhh angst don't got a hold on me like that [<- vibrating])

'Ohhh but if those genetic changes never go away, doesn't that mean that those viruses will get passed on through peoples children?' ASKING SUCH GOOD QUESTIONS TODAY MY MUTUAL BECAUSE THE ANSWER IS YES. Once a retrovirus codes itself into a hosts gnome, its called a provirus (pro gamer move right there) Fun (not fun) fact around 8% of the human gnome is made of proviruses. These are called endogenous viruses, and for the most part they just kinda sit there and stay dormant. TERRIFYINGLY, other viral infections can trigger these endogenous viruses out of dormancy. As for what actually causes a provirus to go dormant uhhhhhhhh I dunno. Couldn't find an answer in my research someone make me look stupid with an answer please because I wanna know.

Ok now lets talk about the immune system a little bit. There are a few different kind of cells at work (hehehehehe) that help to fight viruses and other infections in the body. The first are Cytotoxic T cells or Killer T Cells. These are the cells that directly destroy cells displaying genetic patterns they recognize as bad. Next we have CD+4 Cells (Helper T Cells) which act as a library that stores information about how to identify an infected cell, and shares that information with other Killer T cells once one figures it out. Then there are the Regulatory T cells which suppress your immune responses to maintain homeostasis. They're what (USUALLY) stops your immune system from killing you while trying to clear a virus. Last there are Macrophage. CELLS AT WORK MAID MILFS- I mean cells that clear the debris that remain after the Killer T Cells are done destroying them.

Retroviruses have two primary ways of either side-stepping the immune system or just. Overwhelming it completely. Acutely transforming retroviruses do just that. They reproduce too quickly for Killer T cells to destroy them all and exhaust the system. The second type are called Non Acute Retroviruses. They camouflage viral particles as immune cells to suppress the immune system. For example, HLTV-1 is a retrovirus that disguises itself as a Regulatory T cell to artificially suppress the immune response thats trying to kill it.

HTLV-1 is really interesting because most of the time patients are asymptomatic, but 5% can graduate to HTLV-1 associated myelopathy/tropical spastic paraparesis, which affects the spinal cord and white matter of the central nervous system. This usually results in the weakening of lower extremities and sometimes total bowl/bladder control loss. It suckkssssss (but is also a retrovirus that affects the central nervous system so were circling back to it later 👀).

SPECULATION ABOUT THE CORRUPTION:

I've said previously that The Corruption has potential for a retrovirus that affects the central nervous system by degrading the brains ability to regulate muscular contraction, while also pumping out a ton of cortisol and adrenaline to encourage 'hysterical strength'.

Now I did a little more research about Hypoglycemia and combined with the nerve damage people would likely die from cardiac arrhythmia, which is a life threatening kind of ventricular fibrillation. Long and short, it means their hearts don't have the proper energy and stimulation to keep beating properly, so they stop beating in sync. This results in insufficient blood flow to vital areas like the brain, and combined with the inadequate blood sugar, this would result in very fast brain death.

Let's talk about the immune systems response to this Corruption retrovirus. We would most likely see lots of inflammation, and with the main focus being on nerve cell this would probably result in meningitis, which is inflammation of the tissue surrounding the brain and spinal cord. If left untreated this could result in a coma and then death. So we're seeing a SHIT ton of pressure on the brain and central nervous system. Which is like. VERY BAD for a person. We're talking brain death very very fast.

As for how the virus would target the nervous system directly we could look to real world examples like rabies (ahhhh rabies. can never get away from you). The virus would attach to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, which are what turns chemical signals into electrical signals in your nerves. It would then spread through the axons of the central nervous system and eventually reach the brain. We could also pull a rabies with 'once you see symptoms it's too late' which I, personally, find fucking terrifying.

In terms of the virus losing its effectiveness once outside the body of a Demon/Kaiju we would likely need to look at the anatomy of a retrovirus itself. The outermost area is composed of envelope spikes, which tell the cell to let it in. After that is an envelope protein which plays an important role in complete virus particle (virion) assembly. Theres then a protein shell that contains reverse transcriptase and the RNA gnome that it will use to recode a host cell. If this virus evolved to survive in an environment that is always warm (hell. lol. lmao.) it might not be prepared to deal with these colder temperatures in our world. This could result in damage to the protective protein barriers and cause damage to the real important parts, the RNA and reverse transcriptase. This would mean that the virus would not be near as effective as a fully intact retrovirus cell.

The Corruption could be an endogenous virus thats embedded into the Demon/Kaiju gnome that wouldn't affect them, but would absolutely affect us because we haven't seen them before.

ROBBIES WEIRD FUCKSHIT:

alright guys this is where we put the FI into SCIFI cause your about to read a whole lot of nonsense sentences.

Robbie. Robbie is fucking WEIRD in EVERY universe and this shit is absolutely not different. Him being exposed to that previously mentioned damaged version of the virus from a young age might not give him true immunity but it would give him SOMETHING to work with. His immune system is at least slightly familiar with it and at this point whatever damaged version he came into contact with has already established itself as a provirus in him.

The Corruption thats established itself in The Charger is different.

Like I mentioned in my first diagram, I think there was a chemical reaction that stabilized the corrosive aspect of The Corruption, but this reaction would also have had an effect on the retroviral properties of the Demon/Kaiju material. ESPECIALLY when we add Eli into the mix.

Now, I think generally the amount of radiation that these viruses would be exposed to would kill them (if you believe viruses are alive. there is some MEGA debate going on about that). But if the corruption was just stabilized/hardened on the outside and left squishy and organic on the inside, that would successfully protect everything. And whats that organic squishyness on the inside? EXCELLENT QUESTION AGAIN. If Eli died while inside The Charger then it's not a stretch to think his DNA would have been incorporated and stored via through the natural processes of the retrovirus as a provirus. And so you end up with the genetic mixture of a horrifying creature capable of heinous acts, and a Demon/Kaiju. WITH retroviral properties. Dear god.

Robbie would get exposed to this the very first time he enters the Charger. Because of his semi-immunity + genetic relation to Eli he would likely be able to overcome the more meatsuit damaging aspects of this mixture and just get right through the genome editing without much fuss from his immune system. We would still have a certain degree of damage to his nervous system which allows for that change in strength that would occur in usual examples of the virus (maybe some added aggression from mild influence in his amygdala), but not to a deadly degree. Honestly this shit would barely classify as a virus its just. A nightmare mutagen at this point. So while some of his gnome would remain fairly the same, a good 30% to 50% is megafucked.

Changing Robbies genotype to this degree will naturally result in a change to his phenotype! For the sake of fun were gonna ignore stem cells and their weirdness (for now. I just need to stew on it a little longer and I can make up some bullshit I'm sure). The damage his muscles would experience from less regulated signals would mean they experience muscle tears and subsequent muscle growth. For usual muscle damage from exercise this takes a few days, so if we wanted to keep with that timeline it could be interesting to introduce some minorly sped up healing. That would also be fun for reactivating the growth plates in his bones to allow him to become bigger and taller overall (boring body horror my beloved @cicada-candy that term is never leaving).

THEN you can get into some of the fucky wuckier traits like tapetum lucidum and TEEF. TEEEEEEFFFF. The teeth in particular could go a few different ways. You could just have growth and development of the canines resume until they become elongated and more prominant. OR. You could replace the teeth with bony protrusions from the skull that would push out the original canines and grow in their place. Because of the time it takes for bones to heal your looking at this happening around 20 weeks out. Literally any fun trait you want to take from Demon/Kaiju could apply here.

The most important part would be the nerve bundles on his spine that would be used to bluetooth to The Charger (<- this is a nonsense sentence. I am aware of this). These would provide faster communication with the charger and (theoretically) more intuitive movement, while also allowing him to eventually controlling the charger from the outside. Please note that this would cause EXTREME STRESS to his nervous system. It would be like a person trying to flex a muscle the size of another person for the first time. LEARNING PROCESS. TAKE IT SLOW OR HAVE AN ANEURYSM.

Which leads me to the youtuber apology part of this.

WHY I SHOULDNT HAVE JUMPED TO SKIN NECROSIS:

Skin necrosis is a result of the mass death of skin cells that is furthered by the damage to blood cells. This usually results in a blackened, leathery texture to the necrosed skin. I SHOULD HAVE NEVER EVEN MENTIONED THIS.

What I SHOULD have done is said 'hmm ah yes it would make more sense for some protective covering over these nerve concentrations to either come from materials in Robbies body or to mutate into the skin of the Demon/Kaiju'. This is why we do sufficient research before getting back on our bullshit, wazz (mental note mental note mental note mental note).

I am quite partial to the idea of that stronger/thicker Demon skin/armor growing under Robbies skin and it just itches and burns until he cant ignore it anymore. And then he can pull off. Whatever skin is on the top of it. HEHHEHEHOHOHOHO DELICOUS MENTAL IMAGE of him panicking because he just wanted to scratch his back but now theres blood on his hands and skin sloughing off and dear fucking lord how did he get to this point in his life (<- I daydream about normal things guys don't worry. very average things).

Sent back in time to the year before her attempt, in order to complete her death, she must remove the emotions of her past self and use them to bring couples closer together, no matter what that loser has to say about it. Psyche's going to make the whole world love, or live trying.

meet: PSYCHE^2! youre your own roommate forever, and its probably in your best interest to figure out how to get along, but for a lot of people this is very difficult. also metaphorical. for psyche, on the other hand, this is very, very real. she is for reals stuck constantly hovering her past self, and she hates that bitch so bad.

its been a while since ive seen princess tutu but the basic mechanic is like that but in reverse..? so, psyche (cupid) takes emotions from psyche^2, recrafts them into arrows that she can shoot at people to make them feel that emotion in the name of love, leaving psyche^2 just a little more empty.. lets say that psyche^2 feels happy! cupid will take that from her, make another couple feel 'happy', leaving psyche^2... um... without the ability to feel happy... but at least shes a little closer to her goal? so neverthless we persist.

do i have any plans to do anything with her that would necessitate further ironing of the details and the implications..? not really. so its just fun to think about and draw. speaking of drawing, the way you can differentiate between the living and dead psyche is by their hair color. living!psyche at the beginning of the story has nearly/entirely pink hair, while dead!psyche has nearly/entirely blonde hair. the pink slowly disappears in living!psyches hair the more emotions she loses, while dead!psyches hair seems to absorb more pink the closer she gets to completing her goal. thats right, every time youve seen me draw psyche (her origin comic notwithstanding) shes been fucking dead!!!! dont worry though, i havent really bothered with any art pieces that have utilized this difference up til now.

everything will work out in the end for her, dont worry. but until then: what if the manifestation of your self-hatred was a cute girl who looked exactly like you but was meaner!!!!!!!! theres no textual selfcest yuri but i mean. it ends with psyche realizing that 'love' emotion she was looking for to solve everything was love for herself. so whos to say.

A phone is an electronic device, that is, well, not used often as a tool to communicate with officials/important people. of course if i was talking to my prof. i would pay attention to my grammar and spelling as i see it as something important. typing fast on a phone, not giving enough fucks to correct the things i write since “tumblr” is not as important. neither are instagram, tiktok, linkedin or facebook. i dont know?? is it that hard to accept that people dont give any shits about their grammar and spelling if kts not going to be official/..? We live in times where everyone has new, unique ways to express themselfs (yes😯 the way they type can also be a signifixant factor to their character!) (shocking right??) literally the grammar and spelling shit u pulled is annoying me so much. how can someone be as thick not to understand the easiest thing. now dont pull the uno reverse on me. i know what i did was stupid but im not going to stop it until u get the grammar and spelling point into your head.

I use emojis as a filler, as they end the sentence perfectly, not boring. Also called sense of creativity and ability to understand and recognise as u try to match some pictured expressions to the sentence. thats why i love the ability to wrjte on a phone. some people arent able to do so (ex.: people diagnosed with autism spectrum). I’m way different in real life, except it’s the anonymous rounds in the clinics i have to do internships at. everyone should be honest there and say what they think, no matter how bad or ridiculous it sounds. we seek for solutions everyone can agree with. both sides work on it, not only one.

this ones real tricky cuz i feel like my output is really eclectic. ive got some weird ideas in the books (like a collection of parallel-history card games, or a game-riddle that you can only play twice) but i dont know how many of them would be surprising coming from me, yknow? maybe the zine about how to run a Tarrasque would, given my noted.... disdain for dnd, but that wouldnt even really be about dnd yknow?

The Tower: Talk about about a game you tried to make that crashed and burned. Reversed: Talk about a game you were surprised didn't crash and burn.

ill do both of these! i had a game years back (pretty sure inspired by a Prokopetz post) called Party Planners, where youre a high-level adventuring party who spends more of their time throwing galas and managing your reputation as heroes and adventurers than you do actually saving the world. the idea was you had to meticulously schedule everything with a diegetic calendar, so you could make sure to attend all your rivals' events, set up your own, and fit in some adventuring on the side. new dungeons would pop up periodically and everyone would scramble to explore them first for the best loot and biggest bragging rights, but can you afford to do that when the same weekend youve gotta accept an honorary diploma from the wizard school? sadly the concept never got anywhere past "god thatd be really funny" despite trying to make little prototypes several times. i did wind up using a pared-down version of the calendar mechanic in Unskilled Labor though, so thats neat!

and for the flipside, BXLLET! i think ive told this story before, but i had BXLLET 95% done on my hard drive for three months before i finished and released it, because for some reason i was really struggling to get it to a place i was happy with and didnt wanna look at it. if it werent for my friends' passion about it, i dont know that i would have released it at all! which is such a weird thought now that its undeniably my most successful game, lmao. just goes to show, perfectionism's the enemy! reject its vile promises and put yourself out there, flawed and vulnerable, and let the chips fall where they may!

and hmm. nine of swords is usually associated with doubts and anxiety, which i kinda covered in the tower reversed, so lets take a slightly different spin on it

working on large, long-term projects is definitely a struggle for me. ive been getting better at it, im happy with how KATABASIS is coming along even if i wish i could put out releases faster, but i definitely long to be one of those folks who can disappear for a few months and come back with 300 pages yknow? as it is i tend to juggle a couple projects at once, and then switch between them as the mood strikes or as i get blocked on something, and that helps me get things done but doesnt really lend itself to working on A Magnum Opus yknow

on a much more minor note, i wanna get better at worldbuilding around food. i cook! a lot! im pretty good at it! and yet for some reason whenever i sit down to write about food it doesnt come out right lmao

Sorry for mentally ill thoughts this evening but I've always wondered how this is going to end. To me, welcome home has been a story about changing. And because of a certain music artist's album and WHs popularity being around the same time, I can't let go of my interpretation of what change will look like at the end of this project. (1/?)

(2/?) I've always found what characters a fandom gets attached to QUICKLY to be a marker of what a story is going to do with these characters and what metatexually that is gonna mean for the story...

Let's start with the big one: Wally himself. THIS GUY HAS SO many interpretations! He is simultaneously the most dangerous and fascinating character out of all of them. To analyze him (and some of the neighbors I'll talk about) I used tarot cards, btw I'm @pretty-in-possible but this is my reblog alt

Wally was Judgement which is intresting because its definition includes

(3/?) When reversed, it can represent refusal of self-examination and growth, self-doubt, regret, and blame. In my eyes, change and (what I think will happen to the puppets) transformation is only possible with that kind of thought. Which, coupled with your own analysis of wally and home spells as disaster. Whats particularly affecting MY brainworms is Barnaby. His card is the Magician: The Magician is an artisan and the ideas person.  It is a very action oriented card. It represents learning and using knowledge in creative and unorthodox ways, and seizing the day by displaying resourcefulness. Barnaby is definitely an open-minded person just with his behavior shown through just visuals.

(4/?) I am also invested in his pipe which I know just has bubbles in it, but it adds to this stoner read to his character that *I* see??? There is just something about him that tells me he will have the easiest time with this Existential crisis as to him (based of the tarot reading) this knowledge is incredibly freeing, cuz it would just mean there is More in the World to Discover. In my experience reading past life regression therapy testimonies, I've heard of how some people encounter this place in the afterlife people under hypnosis describe as a soul cleansing, a place where gem-colored rays of light shine through every inch of your soul, cleansing your spirit of the trauma it had experienced during your last lifetime. And I feel like Barnaby will experience those same feelings (NOT THE SAME PROCESS). (I might ramble more about this later, in ask box or in dms if thats okkkk)

my sincerest apologies for sitting so long on this one, i wanted to make sure i had time to really, like. sit down and Process it. and then shortly after i started writing this response i got food poisoning so. lol.

because of of how in-depth this ask gets, i wouldn't feel right neglecting any part of it, so i'm just gonna write down my thoughts bullet by bullet as i go through this. under the cut for convenience:

how welcome home is going to end .... obviously, i cannot offer anything conclusive right now (if i can offer anything at all) given how early we are, but i have always had the vague impression that whatever the ending of this story is, we as the audience may never be able to see all of it. it feels like so much has been given to us already. i assume we will be given much more, regardless of how willing to give or receive anyone involved is. we owe it to our neighbors to let them decide which parts to give and which to keep, at the end of the day. i think that's the best way i can phrase it. but as always, only time will tell.

agree about Change likely being a big part of welcome home, whichever form it takes.

I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO KNOW THE NAME OF THIS ARTIST. i am Dreadfully unfamiliar with a lot of 70s musicians outside of the biggest names - my first thought was either connie converse or daniel johnston, but iirc most of converse's music was recorded in the 50s-60s and johnston only started recording music in the late 70s. i don't know if bruce haack was ever super popular back when he was actually making music.

the idea of which characters fandom gets attached to being indicative of what canon does with them...? i'm not so sure about this one, honestly. fandom can get attached to a stale piece of toast that shows up for a single scene if so desired (which, for the record, isn't a bad thing.) of course, i say that based off of my own experiences, but fan reception has never really been a Factor in speculation for me either way.

calling wally dangerous doesn't feel inaccurate, but i think it's more like. i do not think he is inherently dangerous but he absolutely has the Capacity to do dangerous things. i think it is interesting that despite this (or perhaps because of it?) he appears to be more vulnerable with us than he Ever was with the other neighbors? but a.) that may not be saying much and b.) it is Also largely rooted in speculation + the fact that home and the audience are currently the Only two entities wally has been seen interacting with directly, as opposed to his interactions/relationships with other neighbors that have so far only been briefly described by the WHRP or showcased in brief snippets of concept art.

grinning so so so wide at the judgement/inverted judgement descriptions. i wish i had more to say but i'm having a hard time coming up with something that isn't just pointing to the inverted judgement description and going "yeah that's almost Exactly what i'm getting from wally so far."

again, agree about the possibility of Change playing some kind of role here, eventually - more specifically the fear of change even when it may prove to be beneficial, whether that be on wally's part or the neighbors' or the WHRP's or the staff's or the audience's or even the very setting of home itself. i imagine some grotesque hodgepodge of all of the above. something something points to that post i reblogged about sitcoms as horror.

BARNABY, HUH... for the record my personal hc regarding his pipe is that whatever's in it changes depending on what would be the funniest answer at any given moment. if tobacco is funnier, then it's tobacco. if bubbles are funnier, then it's bubbles. looney tunes logic.

on a more serious note: i'm a little worried i won't have much to say about barnaby that i haven't said already! i think it may be too early to discern the Specifics of his personality from website art/descriptions alone but i do get the distinct impression that he's meant to be a lot more down to earth than wally, which of course is an interesting contrast to the nature of wally's whole [gestures vaguely] Everything. from this, i think it is Reasonable to assume that he's also a lot better at rolling with the punches as well, although i never did consider the possibility that learning about The Bullshit would be liberating for him, in a sense - i don't know about it being a cleansing experience, unless you count the recontextualization of things that didn't previously make sense as a sort of cleansing in itself, in which case it could absolutely be that. something about the parallels to cosmic horror... the relationship between the Fear of change and the Catharsis of change...

oh, but wouldn't this also put him at odds with wally, who seems to be on the Exact Opposite End Of The Spectrum, even when they understand each other like no other? Much To Think About... very exciting potential for Conflict there.

Analog Horror for the reverse unpopular opinions

found media is one of my fave subgenres/styles of horror, like its both a subgenre in that it defines the structure the medium is in, beats and expectations, but its also a style like a technique, its nice that more people are making art in this way, it often feels like that couple of years when people were refusing to use the word horror and instead were calling things psychological thriller because there was something to be embarrassed about when being into horror and i think thats whats happening here a little bit, there is enough though now to really define it as its own like demisubgenre or something like that, its way cool that there are more ways than ever to try out different techs and like encouraging people to do that, seeing the ease of which something can be done, a lot of early online horror artists would act like if you knew their tech youd Ruin them and now thats not as nearly the case, its good people are thinking about credit and where things come from, if it like cuts into the presentation because people arnt use to the depth of like this sort of media history

"Oh my gosh [your name], I have booked you an amaaazing online show!"

Your eyes light up as your agent is babbling to you over the phone.

"He's this really hot internet celebrity. You've never heard of him? He's like, one of the original YouTubers! Yes, I swear to you he's hot, incredibly hot, you'll have a breeze putting makeup on that one!"

After the phone call, you smile to yourself. You reassemble your makeup kit for the hundredth time and still decide at the last minute to include a nice peachy liquid lipstick. You eat a healthy dinner, brush your teeth and proceed to watch Too Hot To Handle on Netflix until you fall asleep.

You're the new girl on the block in Hollywood, you're originally from Japan but you're just obsessed with American culture. A reverse weaboo if you will. You have a proud collection of shiny cowboy boots, hats and you own a vintage, actually antique pair of Levi's jeans.

Next morning you wake up and make yourself some coffee. You read the email your agent sent you yesterday. "Hmm, Anthony Padilla, never heard of him," you think when you read the summary your agent has sent you. The photo she included shows a handsome guy, but not THAT handsome, not as handsome or hot as she had described. "Well then at least I'll have something to do!" You think and you giggle inwardly and breathe out your nose. "lol"

You get into your hot pink but small Honda Civic and drive to the location for the interview. Anthony will ask you about your life as a beauty guru. Although you're still a small fish, you had a couple of viral moments and are making connections in the beauty world. So you feel like you do have plenty to say.

The waiting room is really cozy and well-stocked with vegan snacks and cold drinks. You take a few, as you don't get the opportunity often to just snack for free.

Just as you're chewing on some peanuts, Anthony enters.

You're taken aback. Anthony is indeed very handsome. What the heck was your manager thinking sending that now obviously very unflattering picture?! This man is a Greek sculpture. A hero of old, looking muscular but at the same time sensual and feminine. He has incredible tattoos, and you immediately worry your makeup is going to ruin the impeccable look he's got going on.

"Hi," he giggles as you quickly swallow the nuts.

"Uhh, hi! I'm [your name], you stammer. Not only is he hot but he's also cute, kind and charismatic. Oh no! You silently curse your agent but smile through the strain this puts on you.

"Wow, you're so pretty and cute, wait.. what?" He jokes but then he still looks at you expectantly so was he really joking??

During the interview you're sat across from each other and his eyes keep fluttering to your lips as he asks you about all things beauty. He keeps flirting. You don't mind at all. You start to feel a bit more confident and flirt back a little, which delights Anthony.

"I.. thank you Anthony, you don't look too shabby yourself, if I do may say so my…self" - you fool! you tell yourself off for being so awkward.

And then you see it. He's wearing Levi's jeans. It's over for you. You've fallen.

"Shall I make that cute little face even more beautiful?" You ask him.

"Hit me with whatever you've got!" he answers with a grin. You look through your kit and just can't decide. Until the orange liquid lipstick catches your eye once more.

"Now, do you know what this is?" You ask when you finish putting it on his lips. You felt his breath on your hands, it was very warm and it sends shivers down your spine.

"Uhh, lip.. lipgloss or something?" He giggles and it's truly the most wonderful sound you've ever heard. You're fully intoxicated by Anthony's charming personality and being this close to him makes you blush. Luckily you have your face of makeup on.

"It's liquid lipstick. It's very special because it's waterproof, snack-proof… and…" In a moment of either courage or lapse of judgement, you say "kiss-proof" and you plant a nice little peck on his lips.

Anthony breathes in with a smile, looking startled but very happy.

"Oh, it's the good stuff!" he jokes. He leans in again. This time he kisses you. His lips feel great even with the lipstick on, and Anthony smells extremely good, although you have no idea what scent it is. It drives you nuts. You get so carried away in the kiss that you run your hand through his curls and tug on them. Anthony moans. You break the kiss. "You like it that way, huh?" You ask him. "Whatever you say, [your name]" and he kisses you again.

This morning you'd never have believed that by noon you'd be kissing an internet celebrity. You're going to call your agent and thank her for booking the best interview of your life.
