but watching you pick out your clothes, he realizes he wants to do this for the rest of forever

so this man promptly plops down on one knee in the middle of a department store and screams, "WILL YOU MARRY ME AND BE MY SHOPPING BUDDY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE? WE CAN BE EACH OTHERS PROBLEMS"

you just look at him confused holding up a t-shirt, "UH OKAY I'LL MARRY YOU AND WE CAN BE EACH OTHERS PROBLEMS"

you both are so loud that you nearly get kicked

That what if when ms. moon already has a family but has to leave because of him is so HEARTBREAKING. Imagine moving on from a tramatic situation, meeting the love of your life, having a wonderful kid for all that to just get squashed in a instant. That literally had me about to tear up but imagine her kid was a bit older lets say like 10 (i know the math doesnt add up well with the timeline but its a what if)and then she just has to leave, that alone would greatly negatively impact the kid, just leaving a lasting mark. Maybe the kid would remember gojo’s face and resent him for the rest of their life.

The husband thing is equally as sad because I imagine ms.moon as shes about to leave crying and whispering how much she loves him and that shes so sorry. (Bonus heartbreak points they all breakdown as shes about to leave and she cant even hug or kiss them goodbye because shes being watched). After this incident ms.moon’s pervious family completes spiral down the drain and moon’s mental state goes down the drain with it

In conclusion amazing story but that shit was sad as fuck but I still eat it up with silverware and all

ughhhh anytime kids are involved it just gets way more depressing, right? It think age 8-10 is like the worst time for this to this to happen because the kid can understand little, but not enough to get the whole picture.

The kid knows that their mom is leaving, but they aren't seeing the wavering tears in Ms.moon's eyes, the shaky hands, as you hug them for the last time. All that they can see is the fancy new car your new lover sits in. The grand ring that sits on your finger. Yeah, your kid will hate gojo for ripping apart your family.

But they'll hate you more, considering you're running off with a man who has more money than their father.

I think the only upside is that gojo might not bat an eye if you send money back to your family, keeping them comfortable. With enough pleading, he might pull a few string to get your kid into a good school. With your indirect help, your kid will have the best education and prosperity. Them resenting you is a pretty small price to pay, right?

in the fic, the case took about three weeks, so it took three weeks for gojo to just snap.

He would definetly try to toy with ms.moon for as long as he can. Despite claiming that he forgave ms.moon, he does carry a tiny bit of resentment. It's kind of a punishment, in that sense.

And honestly the moment he figures out you who are, I doubt you'd have a chance to run anymore. The reason why Ms.moon was able to 'get away' the first time was because gojo was still a teenager, hier of the gojo conglomerate, but still not powerful yet. Now, he has tons of resources available for him. You're not getting away lmao, I think that's why he's so much at ease this time around.

I never really considered the family's response. their reactions is something I'm not really interested in exploring. i don't think they got any characterization other than 'housewife mom' and 'dad who works'. I don't really think ms.moon would even mention gojo's torment to them. It'd be embarrassing, knowing that some kid the same age as you is just lording over your life, right? I did mention that Gojo confronts your family in EKM, but I don't like that addition now, so I'm retconning it. I feel like they'd find out just like everyone else did: From the media. Everyone in your little town knew who the Gojo was, but the fact that their kid is getting married to one of them has so be surprising.

But then again, not something im interested in exploring

If Gojo had managed to find Ms. Moon before, things would certainly have been much different. The gojo now has 'cooled down' and is far less volatile. If they had met again, if they were in their early twenties....things would not be much different from his high school counterpart.

New Gen 11

so like ive been having thoughts about ng11 given the recent chapters and all and wondering. whats the point of them lol. this is like me questioning the author again lol.

like we were first introduced to them very early on with sae's intro. ever since then the 11 players of ng11 have been mysterious. even more so with how much the manga heaped praises on sae making him compete against all bllk players and still coming out on top. also being the only one (prior to charles) who could actually play with shidou. and given that sae is genuinely the best midfielder we've seen so far, it was obvious that we would be excited for the ng11. However, ng11 is still confusing. according to bllk wiki (bear with me i havent read the manga in a while and im too busy with finals to reread and find the panels but trust once exams are over i will!) ng11 are players who are categorised as the "next gen" of football superstars. which would give u the idea that theyre the best of the best in the current gen. but here's the thing. they're not. look at loki. he's the same age as sae (i think i forgot sae's age but loki is 17/18) but loki isn't part of ng11. which u can say maybe he isnt anymore cause he's pro but remember when we see Michael for the first time isagi knows he is part of ng11 (chapter 157) which means isagi knows who the ng11 are right? Also when we see lorenzo for the first time (210) once again isagi knows who he is. Which definitely means that isagi knows who ng11 are. but thats not the case for loki which can lead us to think loki was never part of ng11. but loki is definitely a better striker than kaiser so why isnt he part of ng11? my problem with ng11 is how it seems so inconsistent? what makes one part of ng11?

again bllk wiki says that ng11 players are those of the next gen who have skills that cant be copied by others in a sense? like we see when michael makes his first kaiser impact even noa admits that michael is better at his speed of shot than noa and thats not sth he can easily copy. not to mention sae with his flawless pass. so is that all that makes one ng11? a skill that others cant copy? so ig ng11 is just the bllk version of knb's miracle generation (this came to me when i was rambling to my sister). the whole concept and history of ng11 being still ??? is so weird to me especially given that we have 3/11 of them in the manga now with sae and michael playing such pivotal roles to the two biggest characters (isagi and rin).

anyways, this thought came up to me cause i was seeing people on twt being like "so rin is better than ng11!!!" cause kaisagi decided to team up to beat him which made me think "huh, is he?" which then made me start questioning what exactly makes one ng11.

but whether rin is better than ng11 or not is still up for debate. especially cause there's 8 other players we havent seen. also... they all play different position lmao. rin is definitely the best in bllk. with rin vs kaiser debate... hmmm. even im a bit like... confused. id say in terms of their personal skills they might be more evenly matched? the kaisagi team up is necessary bc while rin has pxg on his side the entire bm team is divided betn kaisagi with both of them in a tug of war to turn the team in their direction. the match of bm is never bm vs other team lol. its always isagi vs kaiser vs other team. kaiser doesnt fight with just rin he fights with rin AND isagi and the same goes for isagi. which is why the next chapters will be so interesting.

anways these are all my thoughts on ng11! maybe i'll do a better one when exams end and i reread the whole manga and take proper screenshots and notes.

I really hope they use some of this old concepts on the next season cause they seem quite funny and interesting. Those ideas could help flush the characters out a bit more and the worldbuilding. What do you think?

OOOH HOO WE GOT SOME WONDERFUL CHARACTER INSIGHTS! Especially with Husk!

“Angel and Charlie drag Husk out to a carnival show to show him the not-so-sleazy side of life. This proves difficult with Husk being raised to know nothing but crime and no experience with innocent fun.”

Husk has no experience with innocent fun. He only knows the sleazy side of life T.T Also he has mob connections 👀That is good to know. I find that so, so interesting. It explains it grim outlook on life. Why he's hardly every smiling or having fun. I think one of the first times we actually see him smile is after fighting those shark demons with Angel Dust in "Masquerade."

Now that I'm thinking about it, he smiles a lot more after that. Or, at least from what I remember. I might need to rewatch the show (for the dozenth time, LMAO). But, that kind also goes to show how much this guy needs friends. Good relationships. Connections outside of crime, which is all he's known all his life.

I WANT HUSK TO HAVE PURE, DUMB FUN AND TO LAUGH AND SMILE AND IM SOBBING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT

Also love delving more into Vaggie too. How she's incredible responsible, but controlling. After reading through a few of the episode description about her, my personal headcanon/take is that she still has a bit of that "angels are superior" mindset in the way that when she challenges Maxine, she's quickly reminded of her own limits when she's defeated "very easily." It's like what Carmilla was saying in the show. The angels are arrogant in their fighting. They leave themselves open, they're brash, and uncoordinated because they're not used to fighting demons who can actually fight back.

As far as we've seen, all of their victims are regular demons. None of the Overlords. Well, except Carmilla that one time, and she'd taken down the Exorcists with relative ease because she knows how to fight, and she's powerful. Given that this is the first time an Exorcist has been killed, and the first time we hear about an Overlord being attacked during the Extermination, I assume not a lot of Exorcists come face to face with the Overlords.

So, this kind of brash arrogance still lingering in Vaggie, who see's a demon talking down to her and automatically challenges them to a fight, only to lose immediately. Then her falling back into her insecurities that if she's not able to protect/fight for something/someone, than she's useless (which is ANOTHER thing she's learned from her time as an Exorcist angel--if she's unable to fight for the cause, what use does she have?). It's like this double-edged sword, and I'm rahhhhhh I'm gnawing on it.

ALSO ALSO, getting not only one annual event held in Hell, but TWO! "Hells Weapons Exo," (which I like to think Vox co-hosts with Carmilla, as she is a weapons manufacturer, and Vox is the guy to go to if you're looking to sell/buy something. Also, Vox HAS to have a showmanship side of him. Like, a legitimate showy, entertainer side--which I also like to think is what brought him and Alastor together before their, uh, falling out.)

Their second event being "Challenge Day" where lower tiered demons can challenge higher tiered demons for control over souls? I interpreted this in two ways, 1) challenging a higher tiered demon for the souls they already own, or 2) challenging the person who owns your soul as a way to get it back - both of which I really like. It actually fits really well with some of the world-building I've been doing for the last few days, so I am eating it up.

ALSO THE FACT THAT THERE'S A ROYAL BALL HELD AFTER "CHALLENGE DAY." My RadioApple brain LATCHED onto that so quickly. Imagine Lucifer taking Alastor to the royal ball as his date T.T I wanna see them all dressed up fancy, and I want them to dance, and dsofslknjljblkjbj FUUUUUUCK

i am immediately embarrassed because, oops, turns out Angerthas (dwarven runs from Lord of the Rings) has alphabet overlap with elder furthark, so that's where the confusion came from. seeing as it's a post-filming decision, that does mean that the episode description and chat message were translated correctly, but the box is in Angerthas and, despite having the same runes, they do not correspond to the same english letters.

i spend a bit alternating between bonking myself for my mistake and bonking my very tired head against Angerthas for a bit until WhiteQry suggests that maybe what Anathra said in chat is the same thing. later, Aquelon is able to translate it as "IU WER RAIT". or,

skipping back to the events of the episode: Anathra realizes that he's lost time. he says he's only felt this "once before", doesn't know what the writing is, and is generally thrown off by... whatever just happened.

i need to rewatch Anathra's pov before i can dig into what i think the message means-- my initial guess is that it has something to do with his ?nightmare? from episode 5, although im not sure past that. considering his pov plays with the concept of the fourth wall a bit as-is, the message also might not be for Anathra (and he can't read it with glasses on either way).

Anathra's in the middle of something. there's a lot going on with him, inside and outside, and i really want to do more overviews of his lore because it's very fun. until then, keep an eye out for more strange messages i guess.

as far as the mini comic idea goes it’s basically first panel is vyncent and dakota using their powers or something, looking almost straight out of an anime with the text ‘you guys are all super powered kids-‘ and the next panel would be william sitting on a gravestone with his name, shadows covering half of him w a wisp partially illuminating the shade with his skull glowing through the same color as the wisp w the text ‘well, i’m just a dead one.’

i’ve no idea if that’s anything cuz i very much don’t know a whole lot of what happens or how exactly will got his powers but like. based on his dialogue in the first five episodes it might be accurate XD. i’ll see when i get there i suppose but yeah!

Bllk Season 2 Episode 13 Review

I’ll do two of these in a row. Just now getting to the episodes.

The ‘trance train’ speech was a little confusing. And it’s crazy to see, Rin is paying so much attention to Isagi— they’re gonna devour each other[lmao that sounds so dirty].

But this goes back to the Bluelock matches when Rin picked Isagi. He knew Isagi was gonna be a problem for him, so instead of letting him get to that point, he brought him to his own team.

So seeing Sae actually go at the whole team is crazy. Like damn none of these niggas could guard him?? And yk what Rin being upset about Sae being so far ahead of him was pretty sad, and I want their relationship to be better again, but at the same time I’m thinking there’s no time for this. Get up, win the game, and then start the flashbacks like omfg.

But, it did pay off, with him thinking about how to play like Sae, he followed Shidou’s path to get the ball. Then ofc Shidou gon kick him in the face. Red card. Ejected. Rn get him off the field. Then I’m wondering if his face is okay, cause Shidou was bout to kick the ball with all his strength.

Thinking about Sae’s awakening, I feel like he’s really taking blue lock serious now. Maybe I’m reaching but why else would he go so hard. I mean, like I said, this game means nothing to him and I doubt it would affect his career in any way. Even if it’s only a little bit, maybe he’s finally realizing the talent of the Blue lock 11– especially Isagi. For Rin he probably still sees him as the annoying younger brother.[canonically doesn’t know why Rin is mad at him. He thinks he’s going through a phase]

Most of their relationship we see it from Rin’s POV anyways so who knows what he’s really thinking of his little brother.

STILL got my money on Isagi and that game winning go. Maybe it’s gonna be like a parallel with his first game shown— bc like how he passed and they missed— causing his team to lose the game. But now, he’s not gonna pass and he’s gonna make the shot and win the game. Yk. Some growth.

MORGAN ILYYYY 💞💞💞 ofcccc anything for you what..... and tbh this is so indulgent for me you dont even knowwwwwwwww. bc each year i feel like i grow a better grasp on who she is as a person & the reasoning behind her decisions, but also just generally i feel like ive also really grasped her style and where i want to go in her character design. which you've already seen ofc, my loveliest dm 😌 but ill show some snippets here too so i don't feel like im doing her dirty lmao.

that being said if any of my party members could avoid this post ill love you forever.......... 🙏🙏

ive def said this before on here but mimyr's initial inspiration came from user rennybu's design of THEIR wonderful firbolg Loam, and user ckiddo's general stylisation of firbolgs + Caduceus Clay interpretations. i had really pining to make a firbolg before our campaign started and since ours was so centered around islands and the sea, i thought that make for an interesting mix as a sea-faring firbolg i hadnt really seen before, hitching rides to explore outside their secluded home. so especially in her very first design/portrait art, i leaned harder into that vibe. this is also where i first decided her clan would be represented with a mint green and it's been reoccurring since, just with the support of other colors later on. also i kind of miss her big ole ears.... they were so cute but i was also not 100% settled how i wanted blogs to look yet so she doesn't even have her tail until design 2 and her features slowly get more cow-ish.

then we had our second big design change!! right after the big ship wreck and we finally get new clothes on land. there's a literal strip of identity since our members were... literally stripped of our belongings and clothes since the ship incident so honestly there's not much to say with this one other than i imagine it's her best scrounging of cloth in a way that's comfortable to her. its more earthy, loose, comfortable, good for traveling in the hot city we were in. i imagine she specifically chose pieces with the fun beadwork/stitching and colors because she found it pretty. also im now realizing 2 years later how short she looks here oh my god. she is 7 foot, i got my proportions so wrong lmao 😭 and she gets far more wide-eyed by the 3rd which is interesting

and then there was the third iteration, im including the 4th design (second) with it too since it's really just a change in the position of her wrap but it was done at a much later time hence the style difference. im not going to lie im not a huge fan of these looking back, i think it look too cluttered but i think moving the wrap did help break it up a bit even if i still really enjoy the silhouette of the first one. although there was a more lore motivated reason for the wrap moving lmao. i remember really wanting to incorporate that dark blue, which i still do, because i think it goes nicely with the mint. i really don't like her wrap pattern though, i think it's perfectly pretty outside of this but i would've preferred to do something more elaborate and fantastical and fitting to her and not bedsheet pattern. but i couldn't come up with better at the time so it is what it is 🤷‍♀️

it brings over elements of the old design like with the waist wrap, which i think is true to her character. she is a person who likes to hoard however she can, save past materials and repurpose them. in her very first design i was even imagining her head wrap to be an old baby blanket repurposed. also i feel wishy washy about the under sweater layer but since we were moving into a colder climate it seemed fine enough at the time. i thought it looks too clingy but i think my real issue with it is that it would've felt more appropriate if she had more of a loose, flowy layer on top of it, like a robe or loose blouse? it's definitely something im considering to be done for the future.

honestly her outfits up until this point are what have really pushed me to want to step up my game and do better for her so in all this time ive been really crafting just how i visualize her style. i want to do more billowy, loose clothing with a lot of layering, things she'd feel comfortable in. including floral aspects, simple stichwork, simple fastenings that would be easy to take on and off like cloth belts/wraps. things that wouldn't annoy her or get in the way of pulling back a bow. admittedly the sleeves below may be a bit too long for that reason so it might help having some way to tie it up to her elbows or something and let it down when she gets cold.

below are some concepts of that ive been really happy with so far, plus a cute baby mimsy's outfit design lmao. AND a short hair mimsy which i can guarantee will happen at least once in the future bc she's sooooooo cute. i want to add more baubles and trinkets in her hair and maybe some hair wraps because she loves tying stuff into it and i never draw it 💔 heartbreaking

something i didn't mention as well is recently ive been thinking she's gotten too cow-ish so ive been trying to bring back that initial inspiration from c-kiddo's work with firbolgs having more cat-like (?) feature as well, which adds a fun element i think. like whiskers. i think it looks cute n feels more whimsical......

First of all! Let me preface this by saying that im really really lucky because my family has always been very into cycling (my grandpa used to cycle back in the forties and the fifties when Coppi and Bartali were racing and he passed his passion onto my dad, his son): they’re the literal best and the reason why im the way I am right now.

That being said, we never managed to be spectators for the Tour because it wasn’t as easy to reach as the Giro, always too far away: which is why we decided to go as soon as we learnt that the first stage of the tour would be starting here, it really was a no-brainer.

So we made a plan and yesterday morning we packed our backpacks and took my uncle’s car to one the final climbs of the stage, operating on stress levels that could have powered a jet engine. Anyways. Now, I’ve been to numerous Giros, but BOY was the atmosphere different yesterday: SO SO many people from different countries (a couple near us came all the way from the Czech Republic just to cheer on Jan Hirt, which he probably needed after what happened yesterday) and generally you could just tell something big was happening. We also spoke a bit with Alfio Vandi (now 69 years old) who was, back in 1976, the first rider to ever wear the white jersey during the Giro d’Italia: definitely trippy to think about him riding alongside Merckx, I’ll admit I was kind of starstruck lmao!

We then hiked a bit (like a couple of km’s, nothing major luckily) to get to the spot my father had in mind, the same one he always passes by whenever he rides that climb like every Sunday (love u dad). We waited there from 11am to 4:30pm-ish and, while the company was great (group of 70 year olds watching motogp and formula one on their phones, very loudly bitching and moaning about ferrari) the weather was just shit from start to finish. SO humid it felt like breathing in mist and also very very warm: just this fact alone made me genuinely wonder how the HELL the riders could bear it for more than 100 kms while I was almost dying just staying still and laying around 😭

And THEN. When riders started coming it was as if everyone there suddenly reverted back to their kids selves: people cheering and clapping and laughing, literal seventy year olds jumping up and down at the sight of jonas and tadej passing by them!!!!!! SO CUTE!!!!!!! I had promised myself not to be TOO biased but I started screaming WOUT!!!! as soon as I saw him (he kind of made a face at me? I think? Idk im choosing to believe he did) which also means I didn’t even see G, Remco, Egan and basically every other GC contender until I watched my videos back. Lmao, talk about tunnel vision. This also goes for Mathieu, who probably saw me cheering like a little kid, waving and all. Sorry pal💀

Jasper arrived later, almost alone, and I was the only one cheering for him for some reason? Beloved war criminal in criminal team ❤️ And how was I repaid for my love and affection? This bitch spat on my backpack!!!! DISMANTLE ALPECIN RN!!!!!!!!

While we were waiting for Mark (Cavendish) to get there the silence was SURREAL; there weren’t that many people there and so the only noises you could really hear were the bikes and some of the scattered riders talking amongst themselves. It was kind of insane, in the sense that I’ve always associated the tour with loud cheering and large crowds, but right then it was a very tangible and human experience, I don’t even know how to explain it. Very real, very raw.

Eventually Mark (and Fabio!) arrived and you could tell they were both exhausted beyond reason but were still, somehow, pushing on through. Mark used to be my absolute fave when I was a child so BET I cheered him on like there was no tomorrow. FORZA MARK FOREVER!!!!!!! (he also has a really cool bike and I was kind of giggling at him sporting a big ass 300k sponsor watch while clawing his way up that climb. Suffering in style I guess, slay)

Overall, the day was extremely tiring but SO worth it: I would do it again another hundred times and I genuinely think everyone should experience the tour at least once in their lifetime. I feel like it’s one of the very few instances where you can actually realise how INSANELY talented the pros are compared to “regular” people (just to put it into perspective: my father is by no means a pro cyclist, but they rode the same climb as him in a THIRD of the time. CRAZY). They withstand scorching heat, gruelling climbs and every sort of injury for three weeks straight, experiencing a level of fatigue i don’t think I could even imagine lmao (the way jonas and pogi were climbing was actually scary: literally riding like they were on a Sunday outing with their friends. Managed to shock my dad. 10/10).

So yeah, all of this to say: I had a lot of fun and I absolutely love this sport to bits. I really wish all of y’all moots could have been there with me, truly😮‍💨❤️‍🩹

NOW. I’m wrapping all of this up with a few bonuses:

A whole bunch of shit happens that we already saw.

A stab first ask questions later approach is really good for avoiding paradoxes. Slick is very detail oriented in this regard, whether from dealing with the Felts time shenanigans or just his nature, taking note of a clock being or not being destroyed to orient himself to the timeline.

Finally Slick incapacitates Sawbuck without further injuries and time jumps.

Some little bit of character building that I like is seeing Slick try and come up with witty one liners. Hes not patient enough to make his attempts any good, and he has a hard time coming up with them on the spot. Im also leaning towards Slick naming his weapons himself to try and make one liners.

Moving on, Slick takes the time to update his hit list with current deaths and expected ones adding in a doodle of Snowman. On that point, I know this intermission is darker than the main comic but I was not expecting the gruesome decapitation gif.

One death indeed does not count since this timelines Stitch is alive. Droog says as much when he and Slick start hashing out the current state of affairs. Droog has Stitch making effigies of the MC and their hats so he and Deuce are aware of Slicks injury.

I wonder what has to be done to designate an effigy to someone. Visually the only difference is a little bit of height and the hats but theres gotta be more to it. Either way Droog has Stitch fix the effigies eye but it doesnt work correctly.

I find this really interesting. It seems the effigies are static in placement and without knowing exactly how someone is facing repairs can be done to the wrong side. Im curious why that is. They undo the stitching and Slick faces the correct direction gaining the scar weve seen echoes of.

Getting his bearings, Slick takes the time to admire Snowmans Lance. "She'll have to pry this thing from your rigid severed arm if she wants it back." Foreshadowing anyone? Im telling you, the injuries Slick is obtaining are more than coincidence. There has to be an underlying reason for this to have a focus.

That aside, Slick takes another moment to follow a nonsensical command.

You can't BELIEVE she saw you horsing around like that. You will never live this down.

Lmao, absolute peak comedy. Especially when the focus goes to Snowman and she just fades out. 10/10 reaction. Now she'll never take you seriously as a threat.

After that display, the MC are finally gathering around the safe and ridding themselves of the multiplying Eggs and Biscuits. Stitch almost manages to make a break and get revenge but Slick has great timing.

So we are gonna dig into this a little. @homestuckreplay has said that theres lots of bits that are callbacks to Problem Sleuth and now we are getting links to pages from that comic to hammer that home. On top of that @reeseskups also had this to say:

So it seems to me that in a way the link to PS is supposed to mirror the Years In The Future posts we had with WV. Furthermore, while I dont think Hussie will tie the two comics, theres no doubt that we are supposed to come away from this with an understanding that there will be a time where everyone weve seen so far will be in the same place/time. It does also add something I was wondering about the seemingly out of character moments of Slicks nonsensical actions. In a way hes the reverse of WV who was also an 'outside' the narrative character. While WV gained autonomy after joining the narrative and is being gently led by it, Slick is being shackled by the narrative and being forced into the path it wants. This makes them great foils on this comics journey and echoes the sentiments I made about the beta kids own roles in the narrative back in my comparison essay.

All that aside back to the intermission, the explosion from the future is now the present killing Trace and Doze bringing everyone to the same point in time at last. Only five members, not counting English, are alive. It seems we are getting closer to the end of this intermission.

after reading a post on someone’s blog, i truly realized how insane tophabe is. first of all, everyone used to hate abe’s guts in 2020 for the whole cleo and joan thing back in season 1, which was justified. now the 2023 fandom has snapped around and loves abe, which i can see since season 2 is less focused on abe’s selfishness and denseness and instead decides to torture him so the viewers feel bad. this really makes me wonder how many people hated abe during season 1 and now love him in season 2. personally i didnt really hate season 1 abe (i still think the joan and cleo thing was shitty) but i do like abe more after season 2. i think its mostly because of the abe torture and partly because since all the hate is off abe, its finally cool to make and say positive stuff about him

moving onto topher, im not surprised hes popular. even i like him quite a bit (not as much as a lot of other characters though). chronically online short white boy who claims to be straight, his only friend is a boy who he manipulates and blackmails while claiming he has a crush on a girl, said crush having no evidence to prove it unless you squint, and canonically goes to therapy. yeah hes basically van gogh 2.0 where everyone projects onto him and gives him angst that just barely feels in line with the show. i dont hate topher but god damn the fandom really loves him. i made a whole post saying why i think hes so popular but long story short it was most likely because he had gained a fanbase while the show was dropping episodes weekly, and by the time episode 8 came along mostly everyone was too far deep to drop out of liking topher. part of me feels like this may have also happened to abe in season 1 if everyone didnt binge it instead of watching it weekly lmao

and then there’s tophabe itself. tons of fanart and fanfiction, definitely the most popular ship in the fandom atm, even more so than the canon lesbian couple from what ive seen. ive read a bit of tophabe fanfiction since its basically all thats on ao3 at this time, and i find it so interesting that a lot of it have the events of chapter 8 happen. those events have been the most despicable things topher has done, possibly the worst of anyone in the whole show. and many people tend to brush it off, use it as a way to show topher’s supposed crush on abe. what topher did is messed up, and people barely even acknowledge it. whats unfortunate is i can see why, even i dont normally think about how awful topher actually is whenever i think about him. the show itself basically brushed it off in episode 10, something i feel like they definitely shouldnt have done. the oversaturation of tophabe in the fandom also definitely helped wave off topher’s actions

sorry this kinda turned into a rant about topher, so i wont go any further with that. but i find it extremely interesting to see how the fandom has changed from 2020. gone from hating abe for being an indecisive teenager to using topher’s blackmailing attempt as a plot device in their tophabe fanfiction. absolutely astonishing.

Because of my heart break over Good Omens season 2, I have been trying to predict what might happen in season 3. Here's what I've got: I think Aziraphale takes on the forces of Heaven. I think Aziraphale is going to realize, the hard way, how toxic Heaven is and is going to fight Heaven to save humanity. And, I think he will start this fight alone.

Aziraphale has constantly shown that he values humanity above Heaven, but he has never really been given the chance to understand that Heaven doesn't have the same values. I mean he's seen it, but he has been told for centuries that Heaven is good - when you're told something so often it makes it hard to unlearn. He will not be able to stand by as Heaven does something to hurt humanity. He also will not be willing to see humanity last only 6000 years. I think there was a bit of foreshadowing that he will fight for Crowley's nebula to get a chance to really grow. I think having him start this battle on his own allows him to get his personal growth, and show Crowley that he is ready to fight for the things he loves (including Crowley). From there everyone will come together. I would also bet that we will get to see a lot more from God in the next season.

Any ways here's to feeding my delusions of everything being fine and Aziraphale and Crowley living happily in love forever.

hi lovely, i know your ask came in a while ago but I've needed to really take a minute to think about it properly!!!✨ I feel like ive been burned by fire as far as prediction goes (ie i got NUFFINK right haha), and think i ought to just stick to analysis lmao💀

however, possible thoughts on s3:

- second coming = greasy johnson, first up

- in terms of aziraphale, i think he's going to get a taste of actually how difficult it truly is to run heaven. i don't think we're suddenly gonna have him self righteous and be pitting himself against all of heaven's bureaucracy, because i think we need to see actually how difficult it is (as much as id hate to feel ANY empathy with any of the archangels). there's going to be red tape, stupid rules that must be followed for the greater good, moral dilemmas that as a lower angel he didnt appreciate had to be made... being a boss is hard. it's not fun, you have to please a lot of people, and make everything fair whilst essentially keeping a business afloat. i think, as it stands, it's pretty obvious that aziraphale is Not Suited for it, but is too much of a good person to not take his opportunity to make things Better

- the motives behind the metatron are going to be interesting to uncover. something tells me sTILL that aziraphale and crowley, together as a unit, are part of the ineffable plan, and this was a plan to separate them in order to prevent certain things coming to fruition (eg metatron references the second coming, but what if he's trying to prevent it???)

- the BoL has to come in again somewhere (the phrase chekovs gun now gives me a Twitch), but again i think that heaven has misunderstood what it actually is. i wonder, as the link says, if it's actually the deciding journal, or at least has a chapter in it, that chooses which angels fall and which don't... which, if aziraphale was meant to fall originally (and crowley took his place - TOTAL headcanon at this point), that could explain a lot about some motives crowley to keep aziraphale from returning to heaven's clutches, a last big secret that could make or break them... anyway i disgress

- idk about god. what really strikes me is the golden glow from heaven in s2e2, vs the sterile white we see now. plus, metatron essentially being de-facto sovereign over heaven? i think god fucked off a long while ago... i suspect she will come back, but maybe not as prominently as we'd like

- idk about crowley's s3 arc, im still thinking about that, he's probably gravitated towards tadfield or the south downs or st... but we're less than 12 hours post s2 release so all a little premature to be thinking about really!!!✨
