What are your top 10 favorite media ever (can be anime/manga, tv series, books, movies, games, etc)? Why love them? Thanks ⭐
Hehe thanks for the ask! I'd be happy to comply!
I can't pick dude. If you just want me to ramble about media, I'll start by talking about some pieces that have positively surprised me.
• Spaceman
Tuned in for the hot spider from the instagram clips, stayed for the interesting social commentary. I'm sure it would help a fuck ton of cis men if they just watched it. I loved Hanuš even more than I expected. Turns out an emotionally wise & relatable alien is better than one that would gut me after all.
• Pop Team Epic (season 1 especially)
It's one of those out-of-pocket pieces of media that have a ridiculous production value and passion behind it. Like, genuine production value. It's like anything Studio Trigger has made. An old friend and I were obsessed with PTE during the pandemic and pretty much made it half our personality to like it and other media like it (e.g. Way of a House Husband, nyan neko sugar girls, Backstreet Girls (That was a solid 6/10. Good watch dude). I also have Cromartie High School on my watchlist we'll see how that goes)
Now onto some books & poetry
As some may know from reading my fics & following my Lawlight obsession, I'm a big fan of poetry. I enjoy Goete a lot. He's the only name I've consistently been satisfied by. Naturalism is just my tea, as is pretty plain to see in anything I create. I'm bad at reading due to ADHD but I get it done sometimes. Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy is insane. Paradise Lost is great. Can you tell I get my book recommendations from Wendigoon? Holes by Louis Sachar reminds me of kids at Wammy's House but also I like it because every plot point in it leads to a perfect circle and I never fail to be amazed by good writing like that.
My favorite music genre is anything that counts as goth music. Sometimes emo if MSI is emo (I know and I'm sorry. Guilty pleasure). Darkwave & Post-Punk are my go-to for over half the year, but I listen to anything if it captures a vibe well. Anything from Mitski & Penelope Scott to Depeche Mode, Twin Tribes, Vestron Vulture & Bragolin to Lady Gaga (empress of my childhood) to Odetari. Oddly enough, however, my favorite band is Glass Animals. Zaba is a masterpiece, but I love several songs from their other albums too (Hot Sugar, Pork Soda, Life Itself...)
I'm not a huge fan of irl shows but I have enjoyed all 6 seasons of Peaky Blinders for the second time last month and have seen Interview With The Vampire a couple months back. That one also left me extremely surprised with how good it was. I've been disappointed by 'queer' stories before. They were scrubbed of any realism and dumbed down to make them more palatable, which I just couldn't watch for the life of me. As you may know, IWTV is the complete opposite of that lol. I've also peeked into Hannibal a couple times. It was good but I don't have time like that.
Animated shows & manga that I enjoy are:
• Death Note ofc
• Kakegurui (I rewatch s1 & s2 every year. Last year twice, I think)
• [Naoki Urasawa's] Monster (animated by Madhouse♡ I've been considering rewatching that too...)
• Paradise Kiss (just hits different in summer. The outro is Do You Want To by Franz Ferdinand. Love that song)
• Madoka Magica (the themes are Crazy.)
• Chainsaw Man (as fucked as they are, Mappa's creative team absolutely devoured. The outros are all incredible)
• Buddy Daddies (>>>>Spy X Family)
• Dandadan is looking pretty good
• The Summer Hikaru Died manga (impressive pacing, stunning art work, stellar character writing👌)
• Over The Garden Wall🎃🍂🌲🖤
• Arcane (a masterclass in character writing)
Aaand • Gravity Falls because it's literally so good, not just as nostalgia
My favorite movies:
• ARRIVAL (man I have to rewatch that)
• every single Pirates of the Caribbean movie (how had I never seen them as a child? Kinda happy about it though. Now i got to enjoy it with my adult mind spoiler-free)
• Princess Mononoke (to the surprise of no one)
• Spirited Away
• Ponyo (the implied 'children can consent' part is iffy but it's magical. My first Ghibli movie)
• Shawshank Redemption
• Disney's Atlantis (yup. That's what I was super into as a child. Had those on cassette. Every Sunday... I'm convinced the whole experience of the misty town from the second movie has singlehandedly made me who I am today)
• Dou Kyu Sei
• Godzilla 2 (THE CGI???? Also I'm a monster enthusiast)
• Portrait of a Lady on Fire
• that fucking Czech Cinderella movie that's on TV every December
Thank you again for the ask, OP🙏🏻 I love sharing these things. Now my arm hurts
#ask#oh games i like are Little Nightmares. Cult of The Lamb. Helltaker. Untertale. Any games by Yames#pokemon moon is cool#pokemon shuffle i recently finished#now i'm playing Plants VS Zombies again#also I'm Not Human I'm A. Mouthwashing and all your other new favorite indie horror games youtubers are playing

Can I please request Shu fluff with 16."your mom called me.", 17. "i'll take care of it, don't worry." and 20. "can i borrow a hoodie?" "i don't know, will i get it back this time?" thanks! Congrats again on 500!
life goes on
[ INFO ]
✧ word count: ~800
✧ pairing: shu yamino x gn!reader
✧ genre: fluff
✧ summary: a brief moment into your relationship with your boyfriend of 3 years.
"your mom called me."
the soft taps against your phone screen suddenly stop as your boyfriend turns the corner and enters the living room, the plant vs zombies theme still playing despite the lack of attention. when you turn your head to look at shu, you see him casually leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, an easy smile on his face.
"wha'd'you mean she called you?" you ask, eyebrows furrowing in confusion. you raked through your mind to try and think of any possible reason for her to call him and come up empty handed. a sudden shiver runs down your spine. hopefully she wasn't calling about... about... marriage. ugh. even the thought of your dear mother subjecting your boyfriend to talks of marriage makes you want to shove your head into a pile of dirt.
shu pushes himself off the wall and plops himself down next to you, propping his head up against his hand on the backrest. leaning over, he pauses your game to save your poor peashooters.
"she just wanted to ask if we wanted to come over for dinner today," he soothed, grinning at your sigh of relief. you set your phone aside and turn your body to face him fully.
"did she say what we're eating? i feel like we always get pho when she asks us to come over." shu laughs and nods in agreement.
"that's true. why does she do that, anyways?" your glare has him raising his hands up in mock surrender.
"what? why are you looking at me like that?"
"you told her that you really liked the broth when you came over for dinner the first time. now she's doing that thing where you tell your parent you like a certain food and they always get that for you because they think it's your favorite," you grumble. sure, it's true that the broth from the restaurant your mom always orders from is amazing; however, you can't always eat pho whenever she invites the two of you over. at this point you're convinced she only invites you guys when she doesn't want to cook dinner or just wants pho for herself.
a sudden tap against your nose has you dragged back into the present, eyes wide as shu grins at your confusion.
"i'll just tell her you want pizza or sushi or something." your head falls against his chest in relief and you can feel more than hear his laughter.
"seriously?"
"yeah, i'll take care of it. don't worry."
without the threat of vietnamese noodle soup looming over you head, it's much easier to find the energy to agree to your mothers invite. shu is texting her the details when you suddenly remember your laundry still in the washing machine. poking your head out the bedroom door, you frantically call for the only other occupant in the apartment.
"shu! shu!!" the man in question looks up and raises an eyebrow.
"what's up, babe?"
"can i borrow a hoodie? my clothes are still in the washing machine." your boyfriend taps his finger against in chin as he shuts his eyes for a moment and pretends to think.
"hmm... i don't know, will i get it back this time?" he teases. you roll your eyes and head back to your guys' shared closet.
"i'm borrowing your light blue one!" you call out, hearing an 'ok!' in response. as you shrug it on and change into a different pair of pants, you return to the living room carrying your car keys in one hand and your wallet in another. shu is already dressed in outside clothes since he went out to buy groceries in the morning.
shu looks up from his phone at your entrance and stands, stretching his arms up over his head and lets out a pleasant sigh. the sigh quickly turns into a yelp, however, as you can't help but pat his cute tummy when his shirt rode up exposing soft, pale skin. you laugh at his whine ("hey! what the heck!") and slip your shoes on, holding the door open for your lover as the two of you slip out the apartment.
"hey, should we stop by the market on the way there?" shu asks. you nod, pressing the elevator button to take you down to the parking garage. "what did we bring last time? oranges? i think watermelons are in season right now, should we bring that?" the elevator dings and the door slides open as the two of you step inside and start your descent.
"watermelon is good," you agree. partly because you just wanted some for yourself, but you know your mom loves watermelon too so it's fine. "how can you tell if a watermelon is ripe, though?"
shu's eyes widen and starts explaining to you how his parents taught him how to tell a good watermelon from a bad one and you can't help but smile fondly at your lover.
today is a good day.

Name: Scaredy-Shroom
Debut: Plants vs. Zombies
Here is Scaredy-Shroom! A very humble fellow, who I love very much. Scaredy-Shroom is scared, as you likely know. He is frightened, uncomfortable in the given situation. And as someone easily scared, I can relate to this! Especially when I was younger and even more easily scared! When I first heard about Plants vs. Zombies, I thought "Zombies? I don't want to see that!" and assumed it had to be a Scary Game. And now kids are growing up as Scary Freddy The Scare Bear fans. I would not have done well as an iPad Kid. BUT ANYWAY!
Scaredy-Shroom may be scared. But he is courageous! Arguably. I don't think he would be fighting zombies if he was not planted by the player. But he's here, and he does a good job, even if he is scared! I am proud of him. He has a low sun cost, respectable damage, and infinite range! He DOES cower under his cap if zombies are too close, but it is a small setback, and you owe it to him to keep him feeling safe, after all he's done for you!

While he does a good job at night, there is really no point to using Scaredy-Shroom during the day. He'll be asleep, so you'll need to use Coffee Bean to wake him up, and at that point you've spent as much as you would have on a Peashooter! And Peashooter does not cower and stop shooting at any point! I think this is okay, though. Scaredy-Schroom doesn't need to be a miracle worker. He is very stressed and needs his sleep. Look, his cap is even shaped like a pointed sleeping cap, a little! He is so cute.
Have you heard the news? It's part of why I'm making this post! Scaredy-Shroom was NOT in PvZ2 for a very long time, but just recently, after about 10 years, was added back! At first, I was hesitant about the slight redesign, specifically the cap. This is no longer a pointed hat, but instead has a jagged, seemingly broken bottom! I really do wonder if this was intentional, or a misinterpretation of the original design. Oh well! I have decided I like it, and looking kind of disheveled fits his character! He doesn't have arms to do it with, but it makes me think of him rubbing or picking at his cap when nervous, like I fiddle with my hair. He's just like me!

So? Was Scaredy-Shroom's big return worth the wait?

No, it was not! Scaredy-Shroom is, simply, just Not That Good. In the first game's night levels, he is good! He has his use and the game is built around that! But in 2, an unbalanced game with even more difficult zombies, as well as a steady stream of new and extremely powerful plants being added, he just does not have what it takes. They DID give him extra defense when hiding, but it's really not nearly enough. Indeed, Scaredy-Shroom in PvZ2 is not very good.
And I wouldn't have it any other way!

Like I've been saying, Scaredy-Shroom is, in the first game, useful in some levels, and nearly useless in others. He isn't SUPPOSED to be overpowered, or even strong! If he was, that wouldn't be Scaredy-Shroom! I can understand people being disappointed with his weakness in 2, but as someone who no longer plays it, I'm just happy to see him finally in a game again, and with a neat new design. Ideally, he would have been in the base game with campaign levels designed for his strengths, but it is too late for that.
In a way, it's good that he probably won't get used much. It gives him time to relax. I'll just let Scaredy-Shroom speak for himself here:
"How did I get talked into this? I wish I was at home."

TMNT TO ME
TMNT 2012 Season 3
If you've been following my posts, it turns out covering all of the TMNT video games is gonna take a LOT longer. So, we're going straight to TMNT 2012 season 3. Any episodes I skip are because I don't have any memories of them.
It's time to confess my sins. Spoilers below.
Within the Woods
By this time I had watched the first ever TMNT movie, so I was able to appreciate the homage in the beginning of the episode.
A Foot Too Big
This is the beginning of my bad habit. You see, my cable had DVR. Thus, I could watch the newest episodes whenever I wanted (after they aired of course). Furthermore, I could fast forward through commercials. However, this episode pushed me to fast forward through whole chunks, and pretty much the whole episode.
Now that I've watched the episode in its entirety. I can confidently say I made the right choice.
Buried Secrets
I'll always remember this episode fondly. I was watching this episode in the living room. My mom was on the couch playing Plants Vs. Zombies on her tablet (or at least that was what she was statistically most likely playing). This happened:

The sudden shrieking made my mom look at me with wide eyes.
"Are you not scared of this?"
"Nope."
This was a fair question to ask as I was a huge baby at this point.
The Croaking
Boring ass episode. I fast forwarded through the whole thing.
In Dreams
Didn't watch until recently because the trailers scared me off of this episode since I was a huge baby.
Race With The Demon
I love Race with the Demon. Cool car chases and races. We're finally killing the love triangle. Dr. Cluckington. The best part is of course Speed Demon himself. Love the hood mouth. And the bit of Speed Donnie is great.
Eyes of the Chimera
Boring ass episode. Half of it is April and Leo slowly making their way up a mountain. The other half is the rest of the gang being trapped in the mountain. Fastforwarded through the entire thing.
Vision Quest
I completely missed this episode. Never saw it before getting the DVD box collection. Pretty funny considering how important it was.
Return to New York
Iconic. Exploring an apocalyptic New York was cool. The Shredder Mutants are awesome. Love Stockman's new lab. Antonio's pizza is a cool new base.
Serpent Hunt
Cool episode. I was not expecting Purple Guy and Collector Guy to show up again, but the reason and method for their involvement made perfect sense. The whole "moldy ketchup cockroaches" bit is so good. Cool to see the turtles fighting humans again. When the foes don't have wacky abilities or proportions the fight choreography can really go off.
The ending scene is what really makes the episode. I think this is easily one of the most horrifying mutation scenes. So much dread is built. Immense focus is put on the pain felt within Stockman's mutagen lightbulb. I did like the callback to The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman (it was only a callback to me at the time).
Bebop's mutation was haunting. Until it was completely undercut by him whining "Look at me! I'm a dang warthog." That line delivery always cracks me up. I can't tell if it was meant to be funny or not. Fortunately, "They turned us into freaks." properly conveys the anguish from the duo.

This ending scene (and accompanying shriek) stayed locked in my head for weeks, and still is even now.
The Pig and The Rhino
This episode wasn't as memorable. Mainly because the two didn't fight much different after the mutation, especially Bebop. Rocksteady at least had his rhino charge.
Battle For New York
I remember being very excited for this episode. I went through the trouble of registering my parent's cable to Nick.com so I could see the episode a day early. It was so worth it.
Mighty Mutanimals very cool. Dr. Rockwell is much more tolerable with a voice. Very cool to see Slash and Leatherhead again. Was not expecting Pigeon Pete.
The fight scene with the Mutanimals in TCRI goes hard. Love the Kraang having the big pirate hat.
It never clicked to me that this was supposed to be a sort of final defeat for the Kraang.
Casey Jones VS. The Underworld
Very cool to explore the criminal underworld of the world. I'm a big Don Vizioso fan. Scenes were pretty nerve inducing as Casey would not survive this Shredder.
The Noxious Avenger
Frustrating episode. Fastforwarded through it.
Clash of the Mutanimals
With the amount of marketing and buildup this episode got, I thought it would've been bigger.
Meet Mondo Gecko
Very fun. Love seeing Fishface get a starring role as the villain.
The Deadly Venom
The one-two-punch of Karai's arc being set back to ground zero and her kissing Casey made me skip the entire thing.
Despite my disgust, this episode made me a Casey x Karai shipper, purely so Leorai would die. It was a sort of necessary amputation.
The decision between being shot in the head and being stabbed in the hand is not a pleasant one, but a simple one.
Turtles in Time
The introduction of another love interest soured this episode for me. I liked Renet, but I despised what she represented. Not even the callback to the Mazes & Mutants episode could stop my excessive fastforwarding.
Tales of the Yokai
It's always so cathartic meeting characters frequently discussed but never seen in person, Tang Shen was no exception. Focusing on her this episodes rather than Shredder and Splinter shenanigans was the best decision. We finally get to know Tang Shen, which makes what's about to happen all the more tragic.
Getting to see the fight firsthand was spectacular.
Attack of the Mega Shredder
Awesome monster. Peak Bebop and Rocksteady tomfoolery. I always love seeing the Turtle-Mech.
The Creeping Doom
Donnie being dumb got old REALLY quick. Fastforwarded.
The Fourfold Trap
Brain worm Karai episode. Fastforwarded. The traps looked enticing, but I knew it was not worth it.
Dinosaur Seen In Sewers
Love dinosaurs. The ending threw me for a curve with the whole invasion.
Annihilation: Earth!
The scene locked in my mind for this episode was the live Kirby O'neil reaction to the Triceraton's message. The message was funny though.
Very cool to see the turtles flying through space. Team up with the Shredder was epic.
I was once again thrown for a curve with Splinter's death and the end of the world. Amazing cliffhanger with funny robot.
Conclusion
Season 3 was the beginning of the end for my love of TMNT 2012. As you can see above, I couldn't stick with some episodes fully. I skipped and fastforwarded. I was starting to slip. And from what I've heard, this was when it began for many people as well. The 3rd season is not held in the highest regard.

under the cut: undersiders as what plant i think they would main/be in pvz garden warfare 1 (+ dressup)
disclaimer i've literally never touched gw2 so if there's a better fit in that game i wouldn't know it.. just gw1 for now..
Decisions are made based more on gameplay than on physical appearance but I tried to take both into account.. however as a sunflower main maybe I'm biased on some account so fellow garden warfare heads feel free to suggest better fits for them
Reading over all these I'm now realizing I kept mixing up what I think they would main vs what plant they would specifically be, which is a little confusing...
TAYLOR
A Peashooter variant feels a very obvious choice for her, since she's pretty much always on the frontlines. Its hyper ability would allow her to jump to higher up places to retain the "watching from afar with bugs" thing
I chose Law Pea more for the justice bit in its stickerbook description (where there is injustice you will find it etc etc) and less for the law bit (though she does have a code of law it's incomprehensible to anyone but herself). It felt more fitting for her because well she does try to work for what she feels is the greater good.
For dressup we're pretty limited here, both because there's not many bug themed accessories and also because I just don't have that many accessories :( I gave her the "heart and arrow + Mom" tattoo, and the visors. Fuuuck now i'm realizing i could have given her actual glasses... Wait no nevermind I'm not sure I have plain glasses. Well anyway those are her glasses.
LISA
She mains boss mode which I feel doesn't require very much explanation
For those unfamiliar: In boss mode you play as Crazy Dave (or Dr. Zomboss), generally out of the heat of the battle but still able to participate with your various abilities. It's mostly a support role, but you can still attack (cherry bomb drops), heal and revive (sunflower + revive drops), and help your team track the locations of the enemy (coconut spotting machine). You aren't invulnerable as the opposing team can shoot down your ship.
For dressup purposes she's the Shadow Flower because of the mask :3 I gave her a razor grin and some purple crystals. Adding a hat felt like too much but maybe I would have gone with the chaffeur hat.
I'm now realizing Shadow Flower would just be a good plant choice for her in general.
Sunflower life bonds are normally reserved for other sunflowers but she can have one with Taylor I think. Well ok not a true life bond because that requires the ability for mutual healing but it's more accurate this way because honestly chasing down someone across the entire map who will easily die if you aren't constantly healing them is just kind of the sunflower experience
BRIAN
Again, peashooter feels like a given, though unfortunately there's no equivalent ability for his darkness emission...
Plasma Pea because the colors are closest to black out of the peashooters. The Plasma Pea can charge up shots to increase their damage and radius of impact.
I didn't have any skull-based accessories so I just went with what felt cool and what he might use in an actual game of GW1... so basically just the intimidation factor
While we're here though if I was doing zombies he'd 100% be some sort of Foot Soldier. The Zombie Stink Cloud is 1:1 for his darkness ability. I guess since Peashooter and Foot Soldier are kind of parallels in terms of game play this works out well. (Seriously though every Peashooter main I know also mains Foot Soldier. Please I know you are good at video games just stop sniping me from across the map for 10 seconds 😭)
RACHEL
A chomper is a kind of dogy to be honest <---my logic when I was 10
Went back and forth between normal Chomper, Count Chompula, and Fire Chomper. Settled on fire chomper because I was thinking of that scene where she talks about her power burning away heartworm in her dogs, and also because orange. However I think normal Chomper would fit her just as well.
For dressup I was going more for what I envisioned her dogs looking like while reading worm. Additional chompers are there to represent her many doggies. Tentacle is there to be scary and monster esque. Metal brace jaw is there because honestly I think it looks really cool, plus I already had it equipped anyway
AISHA
Originally I was going to go with Chomper because ourple, and I still think it would fit her. However Future Cactus is also ourple. And also I think Future Cactus is so cool
My reasoning was that her stealth would translate well into cacti gameplay since with cacti you mostly need to just find a really good vantage point where no one else can see you, allowing you to snipe people well. But I'm now realizing the Future Cactus is like... a lot more visible bc of its chargeup. Oh well
Aw wait I just realized she matches with her brother cause they both have chargeups.. thats adorable i think
Dressup gives her silly googly eyes ("zombie disguise) and purple markings (they're hard to see but they're there
ALEC
I'm now realizing that in terms of gameplay probably one of the peashooters would have fit him better because well he does play shooter games. And peashooters are The main plant for guys who are so good at shooter games. But we have too many peashooters on this team so Sunflower it is
Originally was going with the Alien Flower because I thought its ornateness might fit him. But I don't have Alien Flower and it's more Aisha styled anyway (ourple and silly) so he gets the Power Flower.
Hey wait I used to main this thing too. Yay <---switched to Fire Flower though. But yeah as a sunflower I don't generally go out into the thick of things unless I have like 3 other guys with me, I mostly just stay behind at the garden and heal whoever needs it (garden ops or gardens and graveyards)
Honestly now I'm thinking I mostly chose this one for the appearance rather than gameplay. Actually wait the electricity theme fits with his tazer. Nevermind!!
The panda face tattoo is there because I thought it looked like his mask. Hat and masquerade mask are there because they're fancy.
Sunflower life bond with Aisha future cactus btw.
Anyway that's my list. If and when in the near future I get better accessories I will do more dressup and also maybe deduce what zombies they main

"I love it when they play nice with each other and have each others back 🥹" Ream User on Take Me Home "Oh I loved this so much. Alastor is always the one to console and care for Lucifer. Seeing Alastor being taken care of is so beautiful. Doms also need reassurance that what they're doing is okay by their subs. Consent, words of affirmation, and safe words are for both parties. I'm glad we got to see such vulnerable displays from not only Lucifer but Alastor as well." Kermit_in_disguise on At Mid Winter " Omyfuckinghell!!! 😳😳😳 I think I need to change my pants now....... Al sooooo good and hot as dominant role here, so I understand Vox in 5 chapter. I'm wanna be in Luci's place too... Anyway in all your works which your write amazing sex scenes. Your fics with dominant Al are really one of the best, which i found in Ao3." Anji_Newman on Boys at the Beach
You have no idea how much my ace ass prides myself on having amazing sex scenes XD
Thanks for reading~

THEY WERE TRYING TO WARN ME!! ONLY NOW THAT I HAVE GONE THROUGH NONOGRAM HELL DID I REALIZE THAT PLANTS VS ZOMBIES: BATTLE FOR NEIGHBORVILLE HAD A NONOGRAM PUZZLE IN IT. OHHH HOW NAIVE I WAS... I SIMPLY LOOKED UP THE ANSWERS....
BUT I HAVE COME BACK WITH FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE!!!!!!!!!! don't ask why I'm playing 80s action hero I know he is not. Ideal. For shooting the gems. I just like how I look ingame

hehe. I love the customization in this game a lot, even if some characters REALLY don't have much to work with... such a pain... it's a shame BFN doesn't have nearly as much accessory's and stuff as the prior games, though with the costume and set stuff I guess it's a bit understandable? I will still be sad about it!!!!
erm. sorry for my pvz tangent. anyways jammers check out these "gnomographs"

Both are 3x3... pretty tame, not too bad.... a good introduction to these things!

A 4x4! again, tame! this is like. 1x1 smaller than size used for the "Easy" difficulty in Treasure Hunter.

the Fuck You. 8x8 baby... 1x1 bigger than "Medium" difficulty.
it's pretty intimidating if you don't know how to solve nonograms, ESPECIALLY compared to the previous ones! Well, I mean... these are supposed to be somewhat difficult to provide a challenge to players- I mean, heck, have you seen the Trials of Gnomus stuff? I struggled with those a LOT... the trials themselves, that is!
But there's also the other Diamond gnome shenanigans, and a small platforming challenge is a lot easier than a logic puzzle!! Or something. Good thing that the answer for this stays the same for everyone! I. I think.
Rather do this than the torch one in Mount Steep, though... yeesh!!!!!!!!!! (guess you could say that one is.., torch-ure shot dead)
why did I write any of this again?
#nonogrammed#animal jam#jamblr#animal jam play wild#ajpw#<- vaguely. I am so sorry:#pvz bfn#plants vs zombies battle for neighborville

Good games, Great games (Part 3)
Bead sort

God I love games like this, minus the ads but I this one I don't mind as much cause mwah. This game is therapeutic, satisfying and has a good start and good ending all in one. I love sorting through these colors and putting them in their right place. Like, it feel so good to match them to their bowl okay?
I'm at level 899 currently,.

Here's proof of that.
And I absolutely recommend this game, as long as you don't mind the ads. There's a pay for no ads version and if someone did pay for that tell me if it's worth it please, otherwise, play it like this cause mwah.
Figgerits

I have never been more angry and happy about a game like this one in my life.
Now I love puzzle games, but this one tests my patience, it tests my intelligence, and it tests my will to live which us impressive cause I have no will to live.
I don't know what level I'm at but the pain that I'm feeling because of it is astronomical.
Luckily, and I cannot believe I'm using that word with this game, there's a website that has all the answers. Just type in the phrase followed by figgerits and you'll get it.
I do recommend this game, but thread lightly and do not throw your device on the floor I REPEAT DO NOT THROW IT ON THE FLOOR.
Plants VS Zombies

I'm completely bias for this game, I played it when I was a kid and I'm proud to say that mini me has finished it years ago. I downloaded the updated version cause the original one doesn't exist anymore and let me tell you something, cause I got a few things I need to say.
It's not the same as the original one, I don't remember what the original one had but one thing it did not have was ads. AHHHHHHH.
I hate ads. The original PvZ was years ago and my memory isn't good so I don't remember most things, but I did discover the yeti at one point, and won all mini games. Sadly, it all disappeared long ago along with my hopes of getting it back.
I tried to find a way to download it again but I quickly realised that that doesn't work so I stopped and just played this one.
I am proud to say I have completed this game 5 times...or maybe 4 I don't know. But without all the mini games cause they're so expensive?? Like, I expected Crazy Dave to have my back but I was thoroughly disappointed.
Even so, I recommend the absolute things of this games cause it's a classic and I love defeating the Zombies with my pretty little plants.
I'm gonna show you what I do to win.

This is situated in the night, which you unlock after playing 10 levels of daylight. So, the first night strats off with one mushroom that attacks Zombies, and is free. The thing us, that mushroom only attacks from a four blocks distance. I start placing them like the picture below, and don't forget the sunflower which gives you sun to be able to buy the plants to attack. Noe the first night starts off with the sunflower and when you move in on other keels, you'll get the sun mushroom.

As you can see, I place my sunflowers on two rows so I can get more sun faster. After I won this level I went on to level 2, and look how cute the sun mushroom is!

Here I Starting putting the mushrooms in two rows, but I pulled a Crazy Dave and placed them on three rows instead of two.

So this is how I won.
(2475 suns is my personal record of the maximum suns I can get on a level. If you've gotten more tell me how much!)
Tell me what you do in order to win! I'd love to see other tactics!
SO! These were some of the games I'd like to play, I would recommend more but I do like sleep but sleep does not like me.
Until next time.
Byebye!

YGO Questionnaire Part 2 Electric Boogaloo
So, my gf/bf @howaboutalittlehelpneos tagged me to do this again a... good long while ago, and I had wanted to wait until I'd finished my GX rewatch before trying this again. But ouch oof I accidentally also got through all of 5Ds again before getting to this lol
But the 5Ds rewatch definitely reshaped a lot of my thoughts, so... cracks knuckles. This won't be spoiler free, fair warning~
Favorite Series: ugh the formatting killed my original essay on this but okay GX and 5Ds are pretty tied in my book, now-- I love them equally, but in different ways! GX fulfills my love for subversive coming-of-age stories with a heartwarming, humorous, and also soulcrushing touch, and I love how each season brings a new story and new characters-- it's like reading installments of a novel series, and I think the formatting works wonders for it as a whole. It has some absolutely phenomenal character writing, too-- even the characters I dislike are ones I can appreciate for what they introduce to the story! And honestly, not enough people give the first two seasons of GX the credit it deserves: they're half the charm, really. How are you going to feel the full impact of the heartbreaking content in seasons 3 and 4 if you aren't properly attached to the characters?
But on 5Ds's side of things... it fulfills my love for stories with time loops, found family, human nature, and of course, love and death and how they intertwine. I love how the leading characters are just a bunch of broken kids from broken circumstances who all find a home with each other, and of course, how it highlights class disparity and how fucked up the prison/"justice" systems are. Yea, sure, maybe it underwent executive meddling and all, but I genuinely love it for what it is and I wish more people appreciated it... my only problem with 5Ds is the untwist with Z-ONE and then the ending s m h I adore it overall and I could go off for a long while on it. Overall, these are my two instinctive recommendations for anyone getting into Yugioh!
(look at these boys they're so important) Favorite Protagonist: Oh, believe me, absolutely nothing has changed here-- Yusei Fudo is and always will be my favorite protagonist, and my rewatch only solidified that.
I just... love him so much? He's seen so much hell in his life and carries so much guilt on his shoulders, but he still has room in his heart to believe in others and to believe that anyone can defy fate and find hope even at rock bottom. I love that he's initially introduced as this quiet, brooding figure when he really just turns out to be a huge softie who wears his heart on his sleeve half the time and wants to bring about change for Satellite and its people. Plus I just really love that his greatest flaw is something that would ordinarily be a positive trait-- he's Overly self-sacrificial, to the point where he's basically setting himself on fire to keep others warm, and that's not really framed as something Heroic
Just... he makes me so happy. I have two Yusei charms that I ordinarily keep on my keys (one was a gift from Zenzen) and they're a constant source of serotonin for me. He's Peak comfort character for me. Best protag in my book Favorite Rival: Same deal here-- still Manjoume!
look at him he's so important
While he spends a lot of the anime getting the good old damsel in distress treatment (getting suckered into a cult, getting knocked into a coma, becoming a zombie, getting fucking Killed, etc), I still think his character arc is really well-written overall and I only appreciated it even more when I watched GX again. I love the fact that he's got a soft heart he buries beneath the edgy facade, and that he's simultaneously really sharp and also kind of dense lol. He's just a fun character and watching how he evolves from episode one to episode one hundred eighty is such a satisfying journey.
Plus, props to him for being such a versatile duelist-- 50 wins in a row is HARD as is, let alone with a deck full of cards he just found laying around in the Arctic. Three ace monsters, three different archetypes... he's a really good duelist and I'm proud of him for it
Oh, but honestly, I don't really dislike any of the rivals-- I'm neutral towards Revolver and Reiji, but the remaining four (Kaiba, Manjoume, Jack, and Shark) compel me. yes I accidentally wound up liking Jack Atlas shhh Favorite BFF: Honestly, I really like most of the characters who fit this archetype-- Joey, Crow, Gongenzaka, Soulburner... I still lean a little bit more towards Joey, but I really appreciate all four of them. I'm gonna say Joey again, just because I find his evolution as a character the most compelling, but I appreciate the other three a lot. Soulburner has the best design though Favorite GFF: Oh absolutely still Aki, but I honestly... really love most female Yugioh characters? I'm assuming this is lead girls only, but like. I'm dumb and gay and I love Girls so this is naturally the most difficult one for me to answer lol
Aki just resonates with me the most because she's the prime example of how trauma doesn't always manifest in palatable ways-- when we first meet her, she's angry and lashes out at anyone and anything just because she wants the world to suffer in the same ways she's suffered, and then... we get to watch her grow from that, once she's free from Divine and able to heal the way she needs to heal. I know the second half of 5Ds didn't give her character the attention it deserved, but I'm still proud of her for winding up on the path she did-- seeing her channel her power and energy into wanting to heal and help others was just so good and was one of the few things I really Loved about the 5Ds ending.
oh, but like. Asuka Tenjoin and Aoi Zaizen are very close seconds for me!!! Aki just has a vice grip on my heart Favorite Villain: Okay, it's still technically Vector-- I think he's the most entertaining, well-written, and effective villain out of all of the ones we've seen so far, but... I also want to add Takuma Saiou and then all of Yliaster as honorable mentions?
As someone fond of tarot myself, I was naturally pretty intrigued by Saiou the first time I watched GX, but my attachment to him only grew the second time around where I actually got the chance to understand his character better. Plus, like... the visuals with him are fucking astounding and he's always so interesting to watch.
As for Yliaster, I just... really love how the big bad of 5Ds turned out to just essentially be a broken man desperate to save anyone and anything and three robotic reconstructions of the friends he'd lost. I still think the untwist with Z-ONE was stupid and I much prefer the idea of him and Yusei being the same person, but I'm still compelled by the other three-- well. Paradox less so, because we don't get a lot of Paradox lore, but. Aporia and Antinomy for sure.
ugh Yugioh has some damn good villains
Favorite Card: now that I actually play the TCG game...
Stardust is always going to be my favorite of all cards because it checks every box for me (my favorite YGO character's ace monster, space theme, what more could I want), but Aromaseraphy Rosemary has really become one of my aces in my best TCG deck! I'm still mastering irl plays, but I'm happy with my progress and I love my plant gang...
Favorite Episode: alright, here's where there's actually been a Lot of change, so...
Season 0: Episode 16: "Turnabout by a Hair's Breadth - The White-Robed Crisis" -- The more I think about this one, the more I love it; there's a... lot of corruption in the medical industry, and I've seen a lot of it firsthand, so just. Seeing a corrupt doctor get what he deserved at the end was cathartic, in a way? Plus, a Jounouchi-centric episode is always a good time.
Duel Monsters: Episodes 96-97: "Darkness vs. Darkness/One Turn Kill" -- this hasn't changed, I still love seeing Marik and Bakura bitch at each other for two whole episodes LMAO
GX: Episode 152: "Activate Super-Fusion! Rainbow Neos" -- This one hasn't changed and it likely never will-- I take so much pride in seeing Judai push forward, past the fear and guilt he's carrying, all to save Johan... it's cathartic and I never get sick of watching it.
5Ds: sweats. still all of Crash Town, but also episodes 137-147-- the Ark Cradle is one of my favorite parts of 5Ds and one of my favorite YGO arcs period, and even though each duel is a fucking gut punch, I love the emotional intensity and weight in each episode... It hurts but in a mostly good way
Zexal: Episode 143: "The Aloof Duelist 'Nasch': The Destined Final Duel" -- this one hasn't changed! Still hurts, still love it, I still weep over Ryouga Shark Kamishiro on a daily basis
Arc-V: Episodes 81-82: "Our Respective Battlefields/The Ultimate Falcon VS The Black-Feathered Thunder" -- Okay, honestly, this was hard because I... genuinely. really don't like Arc-V very much at all lol (it's just not my cup of tea, but more power to those who do like it!), but I thought this duel was a lot of fun! Shun is my absolute favorite from Arc-V and I really like the friendship he struck up with Crow a lot, so here we are
VRAINS (so far): Episode 25-26: "Virus Deck Operation/Three Draws Leading to Hope" -- honestly I am so biased because I just really love Blue Angel and I loved seeing her get a well-deserved victory like this lol. I'm not done with VRAINS, so this is probably gonna change, but anytime Blue Angel or Soulburner are on screen, I'm happy
Favorite Decks to Use: Aromages will always have my heart, but I adore Cyber Angels too! I'm building my Trickstar deck, my Synchron/Stardust deck (just waiting on Dawn of Majesty...), and my Magician Girls deck, too! Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, XYZ, Pendulum, or Link?: Synchros my beloved... but also Ritual Years in fandom: I've been here for just a little over one year now! and I wuv it... I'm never looking back Who am I tagging: no one I'm too shy

Ranking the Best Video Game Soundtrack of All Time*
ehm.
by all rights, i should not be taking the time to do this. it's finals week, i have an essay due by midnight, and i have fifty other things to do related to my current hyperfixation.
there is no audience for this. nobody here cares about my opinions relating to video games or their soundtracks. all this does is serve as a reminder to my mutuals that i am, in fact, back on my bullshit (and also never stopped.)
(thank you guys please i swear i'll write something relevant to my current hyper fixations eventually, but for now, here this is instead.)
i present to you: my ranking of the original plants vs. zombies soundtrack.
i could talk about a lot of things pertaining to why i am doing this, but i've decided to not do that, and leave at, simply: pvz is one of my all-time favorite games, pop cap deserved better (fuck you ea) and if you haven't played pvz, i highly recommend the $5 computer version on steam (that and also peggle. play peggle right now.)
anyways, generally people will explain their criteria and stuff but i am basing this off of vibes alone. i'll be linking the songs via the images, so hopefully you can click on the images and be able to hear them.
(i would also recommend you listen to these songs, even if you don't read through this, because you deserve it. yes they're that good.)
without further ado, let's get into it.
1. Crazy Dave [Main Theme]
(Note: Plays during main menu.)
Though my ears have been dulled to this song via the many times I've listened to it, one cannot deny the instant recognition. Anyone who has played PvZ knows this song.
As you click the petals off of the flowers in the main menu or watch the lawn grass roll open across the loading screen, it plays. Embodying the ideas of PvZ as a concept. This is not just a simple tower defense game, despite what one might think. It's a masterpiece. And this song embodies that masterpiece.
The melody is short, but familiar. Jazzy and intriguing, but light. Playful. In it, we only begin to see the genius of Laura Shigihara's compositions. It's basic, but catchy (especially the end part -- you know what I'm talking about.)
Final Rating: 6.4 brains (out of 10)
2. Crazy Dave's Greeting
(Note: You guys know when this plays. And if you don't, it's when your neighbor, Crazy Dave [as seen above] is talking to you. Now go play the game.)
This is criminally underrated in the way of PvZ music. I know it's technically nothing more than a sting, but I'm trying to be thorough, and not including it feels wrong.
It's simple, barely eight seconds, and plays behind Dave as he talks. And yet, despite that, it's so incredibly snazzy that you can't help but bop along to it. That, as you already know (or will soon see, proven over and over again) is simply a testament to Laura Shigihara's creative (and lone) genius. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer.
Final Rating: 6.73 brains (out of 10)
3. Choose Your Seeds
(Note: Plays as you are choosing your seeds. What else is there to say?)
Admittedly one of the weaker tracks, if only for the repetition. It isn't terrible and fits the mood of what is happening fine, but can be irritating if you let it play too many times over. Not something you would loop just to listen to. It does, however, hype you up spectacularly for the upcoming level music (especially on "boss levels," but we'll get to that.)
It's a simple piano, reminiscent of the main title track, with a slow, dragging feel. It doesn't rush you, or demand attention. It just stands by as you frown at your seeds and plan your upcoming strategy with the seeds you can pick. In endless mode, this track becomes your friend -- a moment of relief within the madness.
Final Rating: 5.7 brains (out of 10)
4. Grasswalk
(Note: Plays during first stage of game, levels one through ten -- "Day." Alternate version, 'Grasswalk [Horde], plays when "a huge wave of zombies is approaching.")
Did you expect to hear the announcer groan, " The zombies... are coming..." at that one specific part? Could you hear it in your mind but not in your ears? Of course you could. It's ingrained into your very bones, isn't it?
This track starts out fine. Good, even. It's simple, plodding. Something to put on and nod your head slowly. It doesn't demand too much attention. It knows you're just starting, or just coming back, and are getting used to everything, and it lets you. It allows you to.
But it builds, too. Slowly. Enough for you to barely notice, to think, "Hm. I wonder where this is going." And then, that part hits, dully cementing the greatness of this song. It's just long enough for you to look forward to hearing it again, breaks up the repetition. And you think, "This is pretty great! If all of the songs are like this, I think that would be pretty cool!"
And then the rest of them are better.
Final Rating: 6.9 brains (out of 10)
5. Victory Jingle
(Note: Plays when you win a level/obtain a new seed packet.)
Again, technically not a song, but how could I not include this? When that last zombie falls and you've just planted that last plant to make perfect, symmetrical rows of plants, bopping proudly to the earth's heartbeat, and you click on that new seed packet -- could not think of a more perfect jingle than this.
It's light, energetic, but final. It's a smug, proud thing, tilting up your chin as you think, "Heh, that was easy," or "Hell YEAH I fuckin' SURVIVED that!" Either way, it feels deserved. It's also probably something you would want to learn how to play on piano, just because it's such a cool little sting. There's no reason for it, you just like it.
Final Rating: 9.4 brains (out of 10)
6. Loonboon
(Note: Plays during fast-paced mini-games, such as wall-nut bowling [as seen above. Apparently inspired by Metroid, Laura's cat, zooming around the house.)
You know it. You love it. It's there, bright an energetic, as you line up your shots to take down as many zombies in a row as you cam (who doesn't love the satisfying sound of wall-nuts crashing into zombies?) Not much else to say, really.
I will say: this soundtrack, while not the most anxiety inducing (don't worry, we'll get there) does certainly fill me with a sense of manic, potential energy. A lot of the other soundtracks are more chill, even the energetic ones, but this one is fast-paced enough that you worry you won't be able to keep up.
Final Rating: 7.5 brains (out of 10)
7. Moongrains
(Note: Plays during the 'Night' level stages. Alternate version: Moongrains [Horde] plays when, y'know. The zombies are coming but more worryingly.]
We all remember our first time, being introduced to the night levels. The horrible realization that, oh shit, sun doesn't fall from the sky? Crazy Dave, are you sure about this?
This track feels like PvZ at night. There's no other way to explain it. It's a sneaky track. For tiptoeing. As you fall into the rhythm of the new play style and begin to fall in love with the new repertoire of shrooms and other fungi offered to you during these levels, this song allows that level of mysteriousness and excitement that you come to expect from PvZ. Glorious.
Fits right along with the night-time plant ambience, my favorite of which being the crumble of gravestones being digested. That, or the sound sun shrooms make when they grow up. (Though, who could forget, the disco theme.)
Final Rating: 7.59 brains (out of 10)
8. Watery Graves
(Note: Plays during the pool stages (day). Alternate version, Watery Graves [Horde], plays when, um... you should hopefully be able to figure it out by now. It's also a complete fucking banger, btw.)
Ah, the pool levels. Just when you had the hang of the night levels, too. Personally, when I think of PvZ level tracks, this is the one my mind returns to. It's just so good. Adding those lower, 'doo-doo, doo-doo' undertones as it builds into the FUNKIEST piano you will have ever heard. You bop your head, thinking, wow. And then it's not even done! It keeps going! It stays new and interesting through the entire time, with its unique vibe, but also that mysterious PvZ vibe that carries through all of the songs.
Honestly, this track is just phenomenal. I can hear that "ding! ding! ding!" in my head just by thinking about it. It has a tropical vibe, almost, which makes sense. Also, lowkey reminds me a bit of Sunflower's song (you know the one.) And the light percussion... just a masterpiece all around.
Nothing but good things to say about this track. Absolutely spectacular. One of my favorite levels to play, strategy-wise (and plant-wise! Some banger plants here, top ten (not bought) plants come from these levels.) I don't even want to move onto the next one yet, just want to keep listening to this on loop.
Final Rating: 9.3 brains (out of 10)
9. Rigor Mormist
(Note: Plays during the pool (night) stages, also called the fog levels. Here's the alternate Horde version.)
The fog levels. Incredibly terrifying to me as a child, still innately horrifying, but less so because I'm really good at this game now. I would still honestly say these are my least favorite levels, but I might just be biased because of my childhood fear.
The song, though? You hear Moongrains and think, yeah, that's PvZ at night. You hear this and think, haha, I'm in terrible danger. You watch the fog quietly encroaching, and even though it's not worth it to invest in plants that would light the way and is probably better to just guess and pray, you want to. You make sure to always have enough sun in case you need to pull out the Blover that you probably should have switched for a more practical plant with the excuse of "balloon zombies," but you know the truth.
You'll be fine, right? I mean, sure, you're straining your ears and hoping that you get enough Cactus plants down (which you also shouldn't have invested in, but you're driven by fear) before you hear the first "fwoosh" of a balloon going up when you hear this godforsaken sound and it's fine, everything is fine. I mean, it's not like it can be any worse than this, right?
Final Rating: 8.7 brains (out of 10)
10. Stage 4 / Level 10
(Note: Where it gets worse.)
PvZ is by no means a horror game, (despite the zombies.) This is also not a song. In fact, this is the only level in the game almost entirely devoid of music. The only things you hear are the zombies, fog level ambience, and the rain. After playing the level enough, it becomes easy. Simple.
But that first time. The shocking lack of sound. The darkness taking over the screen. It's such a well-done bit of atmosphere. Calming, but simultaneously terrifying. The more zombies that appear and the longer the seconds between flashes of lightning...
Usually, level ten of each stage is accompanied by a certain soundtrack (which I'll get to later) that's bright, upbeat, and energetic. It feels victorious. You were expecting that, but now you realize, it would feel out of place here.
Final Rating: 9.68 brains (out of 10)
11. Cerebrawl
(Note: Plays on certain mini-games, such as the "I, Zombie" mini-games. According to Laura, it plays on the more "cerebral" levels.)
Don't have much to say here, but this bop doesn't need my platitudes. It can stand on it's own two feet just fine. Needless to say, this track fucks. It falls right on that line between spooky and funky that Laura has perfected. Plus, it's in one of top favorite mini games (along with several other bangers, such as "It's Raining Seeds," "Beghouled Twist," "Zombiequarium," and others.)
Final Rating: 8.5 brains (out of ten)
12. Graze the Roof
(Note: Plays during the roof levels. Here's the Horde version.)
Y'ALL KNOW WHAT TF IS UP!! GodDAMN, have I been waiting for this one (and you have, too. Don't lie to me.)
By this point, you're wondering, "Wait, there's more? We've done both the back and front lawns, and night and at day? What else could possibly be left?" And then it pulls out the roof. And with it comes Graze the Roof.
It's a culmination of everything you've grown to love about PvZ, but more. This track is so good. Laura does not fuckin' MISS, and this song? With these levels? The Roof levels are some of my favorites, and the music is a big part of that. I mean, also, obviously, the gameplay, but like. Come on. It's so damn good. Hell-to-the-yeah.
Final Rating: 9.72
13. Ultimate Battle
(Note: Only plays during the tenth level of each stage, the "final stage" of each.
If you've gotten to this point, you've probably been waiting for this. Actually, let's be for real: everybody has been waiting for this. When you get to the tenth level of stage one and this comes on, it's like you've been remade. The world will never be the same again. Because this music exists, and now you've heard it.
This track is the reason I replay the main story levels instead of just focusing on endless. I actively look forward to playing the tenth level because of this track. I will go back and play through each stage just so I can get to this point and play the conveyor belt levels.
For one glorious level, you don't give a shit about strategy or sun. You take the plants they give you, put 'em on the screen, and watch huge swathes of zombies battle your excessive amounts of plants as this BOP plays in the background. It's literally amazing. Thank you, Laura. This is... beyond words.
Final Rating: 100,000 brains (out of 10)
14. Zen Garden
(Note: Only plays during the Zen Garden mini-game.)
Calm before the storm here. Just a nice, chill song, for a nice, chill mini-game, that's actually more rewarding than most other "zen-garden" games I've played. It's just... nice. Calming.
Final Rating: 7 brains (out of 10)
15. Brainiac Maniac
(Note: Boss battle music.)
As @gamer-guy2873 in the comments section so artfully puts it: "Everybody gansta til the note is written in cursive with proper grammar."
This is a culmination of vibes, having fully pulled away from that spooky feel to a more energetic, active feel. You're gonna fight this guy. You've been training for this the entire time. And you get an absolute banger to do it with.
The more energetic feel plus the softer, more "smooth" sections brings the roof vibe together with the original vibes presented to us during the very first levels. In a lesser song, these sections would clash. But this is no "lesser song." No. This is art.
Final Rating: 9.89 brains (out of 10)
16. Zombotany (Unreleased Track)
(Note: Unreleased track. You probably haven't heard it before, and it's great, so go and do that!)
I feel like we were robbed. Hello? Hello? This is excellent. The lighter, funky feel, with the spy-esque undertones behind it? I would have loved this, playing PvZ as a kid. I mean, I do now, so I definitely would have then.
The fake-out starts and stops? The little bits of off-key notes? All arranged into this masterpiece. The little bits and peices of audio effects weaved within it? Man, this is just amazing, honestly.
Final Score: 9.6 brains (out of 10)
17. Zombie on Your Lawn
(Note: Roll credits, bitches.)
That's right. We're here, finally. Done. If you've slogged through this (or skipped over if for fear of having to spend an inordinate amount of time reading through a post about plants vs zombies/accidentally opened the read more, not realizing the level of commitment required), good job. This song serves as both a thank you and also end, which is fitting.
What can be said about this song that hasn't already? It's excellent. All of these songs are excellent. Watching the music video after defeating Zomboss was truly an experience my seven-year-old brain was not equipped to handle.
I love this game. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's the music, maybe it's a lot of things. But objectively, these songs are amazing. Go check out Laura and support her if you can -- she's over on Twitch at supershigi, if that's something you're interested in.
Anyways, it's three in the morning here. I'll check for mistakes when I'm less dead. For now, let's end this already horribly long post.
Final Rating: 9.8 brains (out of 10)

Plants Vs Zombies - Blast Review
Developer: PopCap Rrp: £ Free with EA Play
Alright, just to get this out there, no this isn't a review of Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare nor is it a review of the Game of the Year edition. No, this review focuses on the basic port that at one point was being given away for free by EA on Origin at one point (which I think now is given away when you join EA Play).
I remember playing this game a long time ago on a tablet, at the time I put it into the mental category of 'not bad for a tablet game'. Unfortunately that's this games issue, it plays exactly like the tablet version and its clear that this was a lazy port. The graphics don't upscale well and this in turn has made the art assets look more pixelated than they should, this is especially bad if you're playing on a monitor that can handle 4k.
From a gameplay standpoint this works just fine, its exactly the same as the tablet version and I find that to be something of a missed opportunity. Again I want to make it known that this isn't the Game of the Year Edition I'm speaking of, for all I know that version may do everything right. Thing is though... this game is free, or at least its free with the EA Play service and I would assume that there isn't anyone getting that service specifically to play this version of Plants vs Zombies.

finally beat Plants vs Zombies Adventure 2 (play through the game a second time, but the first 3 seed slots are chosen by Crazy Dave instead of you), so now I'm never playing it again (5-9 was a nightmare)
