you dont like bothering oscar when he's at work. its a weird thing you have, one that oscar's tried getting out of your head on more than one occasion. does it stick? no.

the cramps you had been feeling for the entire day had made it almost impossible to move, so you weren't exactly able to reach your phone to tell oscar either.

that is a fact you use in a later argument. which by the way doesn't work.

so when the door to your apartment swings open and you hear your boyfriend's voice, you nearly flat out start crying. its so nice to hear a comforting sound.

"sweetheart?" oscar calls out for a second time when you don't reply, even talking feels like too much right now. you hear some shuffling around and then the soft footsteps as he walks down the hallway.

"hey, baby," he murmurs when he enters the room, coming to sit next to you on the edge of the bed. his hand comes to rest on your back rubbing slowly through the duvet. "how are you feeling?"

a noncommittal grunt escapes you and you wince in pain as another wave of cramps hit you like a train. fuck periods actually.

oscar sensing your situation quickly, he gets up and places a quick but soft kiss to your forehead before walking back out to the kitchen promising to be back soon. you stay awake for a little while but eventually the sounds of him moving around, and the soft clinking of dishes quickly puts you to sleep.

it was a comfort knowing someone else was home with you.

some time later you feel a dip in the bed beside you, two arms wrap around your waist and pull you into their warmth.

"hey you," you whisper.

"hey you," he whispers back his hand drawing circles on your skin. "are you feeling better after that nap?"

"sort of," you sigh. "mainly im-"

"hungry?" oscar guesses, you can hear the smile in his voice and you slowly sit up, cautiously testing different positions before finding one that doesn't make you feel like you've been shot.

you look over at oscar who has turned away bringing a tray of snacks over from the bedside table. it has all your favourite snacks, chocolates, your phone and a warm cup of tea.

"i called mum, while you were asleep earlier," he said almost nervously. "and asked her what type of tea to use because i was worried and wanted to help and she said to use-"

you shut him up by placing a kiss on the corner of his mouth "its perfect thank you osc," you settle back against the pillows - and him, okay mostly him. his arms are wrapped around you as you soak in the quiet afternoon, the soft sound of the show you had playing on your computer earlier the only noise in the room.

"why didn't you call me?" his voice rumbles through you.

"i didn't want to bother you while you were at work," you look down to the cup of tea in your hands and realise now that you probably won't be winning this conversation. there is no one who cared more about you than the man currently wrapped around you. he would drop anything in a second for you.

hence why you didn't call him. he cant be distracted from work. its so important to you.

but he won't take that as an answer.

"you know i always have time for you, sweetheart, i'm never too busy for you. you're my number one priority. always."

the cramps didn't seem so bad after that.

It was another day of baking. This time you wanted to bake something for Alfred since he was the one who taught you how to bake in the first place.

You decided to bake a vanilla cake! Alfred’s favorite of course.

So you obviously went shopping and had to sneak out since Bruce didn’t want you going out by yourself since ‘Gotham is too dangerous’ maybe it is but you’re just going to the supermarket

You bought your ingredients and decided to start baking without your brothers finding out of course you can’t let them know that you can actually bake.

After a while you finished the cake. Its pretty surprising that no one came into the kitchen! Well its pretty early on the weekend so they’re probably still sleeping.

Alfred came into the kitchen and you gave him the cake. He thanked you and grabed a piece.

But

Just at that time Damian walked into the kitchen. Just perfect.

You both just stared at eachother. While you still had your dirty apron on.

“Good morning [name] i see you baked a cake for Alfred… it smells good?” Damian said

“What does that mean Damian! Does that mean you dont like my cooking?!” You said in a dramatic way trying to get him to leave the kitchen but it obviously backfired. “I didn’t bake thi-”

And at that moment Alfred decided to betray you!

“Young Miss [name] baked me a cake Master Damian would you like to try it“ Alfred said with a smug smile he wanted for you to stop poisoning your sibling with burnt cookies.

“[name] baked it? Didn’t you said you didn’t bake it dearest sister?” Damian walks up to the cake grabs a fork and takes a small bite.

“shit…”

“Are you sure [name] baked it?” (That little shit of course you did but he can’t know that!)

“N-” “Yes” Alfred cuts you off once again.

“Oh everyone would love to hear this” he says as he leaves the room.

As you took another sip of your cocktail, you felt a presence slide up beside you. Turning, you found yourself face to face with Minghao, his eyes gleaming with a familiar intensity in the strobing lights of the club. Your heart skipped a beat, a mix of surprise and something else, something deeper, coursing through your veins.

"Minghao," You said, surprised. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be out of town on business?"

Minghao shrugged, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "Plans changed. Besides, I heard this club was the place to be, and I wanted to see if the rumors were true." His gaze raked over your body, taking in the way your dress hugged your curves. "Looks like they were right. You're here, after all."

You felt a blush creep up your cheeks at the heat in Minghao's gaze. "Well sometimes an actress needs to load her mind off things. Not my fault the media says I'm here every Sunday." You replied, rolling your eyes. You had come to the club to escape, to lose yourself in the music and the moment. But seeing him now, suddenly showing up out of the blue, you were reminded of all the reasons you had fallen for him in the first place. His charm, his confidence, the way he seemed to see right through you...

"I've had time to think about it," You spoke, your voice barely audible over the pounding beat. "About us, about everything. And I realized...there's too much bullshit that surround me. I don't want it at all."

Minghao's eyes narrowed, his head tilting slightly as he studied your face.

You met his gaze, your heart pounding in your chest. You knew what you wanted, what you had always wanted. But were you brave enough to reach out and take it?

"But hey, I wanna have a good time," You said, a slow smile spreading across your face. "I want to dance, to laugh, to forget about everything else and just...be. With you."

Minghao's eyes darkened, a hunger flashing in their depths. He set his drink down on the bar and held out his hand to you, a silent invitation. "Then let's dance," he said, his voice low and rough with promise. "Forget about everything else and just be with me, y/n. Right now." You hesitated for a moment, your heart racing as you stared at Minghao's outstretched hand. The logical part of your brain screamed at you to refuse, to remember all the reasons why you both had called it quits in the first place. But the other part, the part that craved freedom and spontaneity, yearned to take his hand and lose yourself in his arms, consequences be damned.

"I...okay," you replied, a mischievous grin spreading across your face as you placed your hand in his. "But I get to lead. And I'm warning you now, I don't plan on holding back."

Minghao's smirk widened into a full-fledged grin, his fingers tightening around yours as he pulled you onto the dance floor. "Wouldn't have it any other way," he said, his other hand coming to rest on the small of your back as he pulled you against him.

As you began to move to the pounding beat, you felt a thrill run through you. You had come to the club to forget, to lose yourself in the music and the moment. But now, with Minghao's arms around you, his body pressed against yours, you felt like you were finally... alive.

The two of you danced like no one was watching, your movements syncing up as if you and him had never spilt apart. You spun and gyrated, your hair whipping around your face as you threw your head back in laughter. Minghao matched your every step, his hands roaming over your curves, pulling you impossibly closer.

In that moment, lost in the music and the feeling of Minghao's body against yours, you felt like you had found a piece of yourself she hadn't even known was missing. The stress and pressure of your life melted away, replaced by a sense of pure, unadulterated joy.

(!! Bonus: The upcoming morning was horrifying, you woke up, head throbbing and vision blurry. You blinked a few times before your vision finally settled, and there he was, the one and only Xu Minghao. And there you were, in his bed, in the same spot you would have originally fallen asleep in whenever you both fucked, and in his arms. Damn Minghao for all this. And damn you too. (Damn the alcohol talking too.) !!)

By the time of our discovery you already drank four glasses of water when they told you to do so, now you truly regret drinking all of that water.

Suddenly your bladder started to ache as you had your realization, and in no time your crotch did too.

Your legs would twitch whenever you sat, squirming in place did nothing but you were so determined not to piss on a pad like a dog.

When your F/O came back home they smirked at the sight, your leg was bouncing in place while you were trying to distract yourself from the fact you were so desperate it hurt.

As you got up from your spot on the couch to find something else to do your thighs felt numb from how long you've been holding and with tears in your eyes you looked towards your F/O who's been calm this entire time, "please..." you softly pleaded.

They shook their head, "I gave you an option, if you don't wanna use it, fine. But you're the one to blame if you wet yourself."

You let out a small sigh that could easily be passed for a whine, you looked at the pad that was by the couch and the droplets of piss threatening to leak couldn't be ignored any longer.

With one hesitant step after another you finally stood over the very thing you were trying to avoid and your F/O couldn't feel more satisified that you're giving in.

"Go ahead, you know you want to." they said in a taunting tone.

You undid your pants, sliding your pants and underwear off to avoid having them touch anything and threw it onto the couch.

"Do I have to?" You double checked to which you were met with a nod.

You looked down and relaxed your body, a warm stream cascading down your legs, you saw a wet patch below quickly form. You then shut your eyes to relieve yourself from any embarrasment.

"Good job," they praised, eyeing you up and down with approval, they loved it when you were desperate enough to piss on a dog pad.

Once you opened your eyes you were met with a very pleased F/O just a couple of feet away from you.

"See was that so hard?" they cooed.

You felt embarrassed but at least the ache was gone.

i went through the zaun family au tag (plus a little of work/life balance but i prefer the former lol sorry!) and i dont think youve gotten into many details of how jayce and viktor cope with a newborn baby? clearly viktor wants to go back to the lab asap, and he does carry naph around in a sling, but it's not something he can do like. the next day after popping out that kid.

(admittedly i just want more of jayvik + their baby 😔 you manage to get them soooo right)

I don't think I've rambled much about Jayce and Viktor with their newborn (more about once things have settled).

Because we are basing this in Zaun Family I'm going to stay with a comparison. I think where Silco during those early days after the birth kind of curls around the newborn to the point where even Vander has to convince him to be able to see them and that only getting more intense the worse the labor and delivery are, Viktor during those early days kind of dissociates and leaves the baby caring to Jayce and it goes on for longer/is more intense the worse the labor and delivery are. He's in a least a decent amount of pain, has gone through an intense experience, and hasn't been able to (and still can't) return to his lab to like 'ground' himself with his work. I've heard some people talk about feeling like their body wasn't their own in those very early hours/days after giving birth and I think Viktor falls into that camp.

I do think both Jayce and Viktor knew that Jayce would probably be doing the bulk of the baby caring in the days immediately following the birth. They didn't have a sit down conversation about it but they know Viktor will need to rest and recover and Jayce kind of needs to do it to help his own feelings of uselessness throughout the pregnancy. It does frustrate Viktor because they're meant to be partners and right now Jayce is doing most/all the work while he's basically stuck in bed recovering but also... Viktor did all(/most - Jayce was a very attentive support through the pregnancy) of the work to that point. Viktor doesn't do nothing but at the start all he can kind of do is hold Naph while Jayce organises things.

Obviously as Viktor heals and is able to do more (and return to his lab - that probably feels like a turning point day of being Himself again for him) the dissociation fades and they more find their rythm together and it does end up being that more equal split that I've talked about previously.

Ximena also probably basically moves in with them the last days before Naph is born and for that early period while they are adapting. But she is very much the Good example of a grandparent moving in when the baby's born. She's there if they need her but is mostly dealing with the day-to-day life stuff (you know organizing food, doing the dishes, emptying the bins) so they don't have to think about it while they adapt to life with a baby (and while Viktor is kind of out of action).

y/nzuha shippers are the worst because they genuinely feel like their ship is real. like gayer and realer than any other kpop ship out there, and you and yuzuha feed into it so much. even though you were rivals, this shipping thing is actually beneficial to both of your groups. almost all of your group's fans are also fans of yuzuha's group and vice versa bc of your ship. your duo with yuzuha is even more popular than the duos in your respective groups.

ok anyways, so you and yuzuha finally get up and decide to make some tiktoks together and you decided—after depriving your fans of y/nzuha content, you were going to release ALL the tiktoks you made that day. two of them were your group's respective tiktok challenges, then there was like one thirst trap, two of the tiktoks were like those couple trends—yes your fans went crazy and that is an understatement, and then another random tiktok dance challenge.

yeah, that could never be you and yuzuha. in every video, fans have noticed you guys have to glance at each other while dancing. giving looks that say "i'm doing your choreo better than you are."

oh your rivalry would also show in variety shows. there isn't really any room for rivalry in terms of music and popularity 'cause you can hardly control how fans view you and if anything, you both are always so supportive of each other's careers. so when you get a chance to go against yuzuha, you take the damn chance.

variety shows are definitely nostalgic for the fans 'cause you two refuse to team up with each other for games unless you were assigned to the same team. fans eat it up so much, there would be so many clips going around on tiktok, instagram and twitter.

while we're on the topic of rivalry, ISAC is a big day for y/nzuha nation.

when everyone finds out yuzuha was the head of the kyūdō club in high school, they're immediately expecting her to win in archery. but you practiced longg and hard to go against her.

now imagine the fans reactions when they find out yuzuha herself helped you train for ISAC lmfaooo

Adding on I feel that people who defend Jinx or dont' think about who she killed is due to the fact that its enforcers/corrupt politians so they go with they got what they deserve but I think that ignores how like it or not those people are very much still human and you can't just go around murdering people with zero consequences bad people should get prison time but not outright murdered. And how jinx somehow becomes a syombol for zaun despite working for silco and.. causing more stress for zaun after blowing up the capital building makes little sense to me. Jinx herself didn't even want to be a symbol just wanted her family back. she's not a Hero because she kills Cops.. she's a traumatized girl who needed mental help

She met vi for what 2 days? got kidnapped nearly killed by her sister/ had her mom blew up by her crush sister. Let woman act on emotions humans are emotional people.. that scene was a long time coming. and i say that as someone who didn't really ship em in s1 that moment was long overdue. Maddie was also cute to me but I love REDHEADS I felt she needed more screentime her betrayal left zero impact to me cause .. I barely knew her .. same with Vis new male friend death..

The main criticism I have is to much music video montages.. i give the season a 6/10 .. needed 2 more episodes or to skip the au ep all together and.. focus on ekko/jinx not powder/ekko for timebomb to hold better weight

but that just my opinion.. Im poor and I dont think cait had more power over vi at all.. if anything Jinx held power over Vi.. as vi felt she had to save Powder.. but for all the people saying it should have ended like elsa/ana storyline of sisterly love. while that's all fine and and dandy.. . I gotta say you're family who commits terrible actions isn't your responbility to save and the sory isn't bad because it didnt' cater to the disney storyline of happily ever after for jinx/vi some of ya'll wanted .

I think s1 is better but not because jinx/vi didn't get the happy ending just thought we wasted time on other plots more when we should have had more time with Vi outside of Jinx and noticed jinx was. a lot different that it felt like a new character in general .

With the way people hate on caitlyn it's like she murdered bunches of people when I recall it was jinx who was killing people with zero remorse in s1 no hate to jinx but man her actions get ignored it's her fault that zaun gets targeted in since she blew up the capital
