maybe you should ask people directly since i’ve only seen one person posting untagged spoilers in the main tag, and general posts rarely reach anyone. otherwise i am also convinced that those who don’t want to see spoilers are also responsible for themselves as to what they expect to see in the main tag right after an ep has been released (leaked or not), and muting and unfollowing is always in option in those cases

That’s actually the reason why i’ve been avoiding the tumblr tag as well as the forums. Usually i do mute/block/unfollow but 99% of the time i’m on tumblr mobile, which doesn’t allow some of these things so i have to just avoid going into the tag lol

As for other websites, i’ve been avoiding those too. Just wanted to make a point that these things -do- happen, and if anyone in future does the same thing for later episodes, i hope that they will be more mindful when posting………

Today is my 11 year anniversary with my fiancée and I remembered once again that in 8th grade I was consciously thinking “man, they relate to Mello and I relate to Near and we ship MelloNear, we’re going to get together at some point, but I am just not going to consider any of the implications of this and store this as a problem for later me.” Like, what even.

Anyway, I told the ‘Death Note made me gay’ story a bazillion times, but I still want to take this moment to say @novumoru is in fact the greatest and most wonderful partner I could possibly wish for and even though they bully me for liking Death Note on the daily, they probably are also my biggest source for new questions and interesting aspects of the franchise because they are super smart and look at everything from fresh angles and indulge all my lame-ass hobbies.

Get you a girlfriend who loves you despite your Death Note blog, it’s worth it.

ye it’s still possible to find Your Brand of people in a bigger fandom if you try hard enough but if the fandom is small it can get really uncomfortable if you don’t agree with popular people…

yeah exactly, and I think that’s why it’s good to have friends who don’t share interests with you, it’s more valuable to be comfortable with someone, instead of following people who are into what you’re at the moment and then ditching them when you don’t share interests anymore

Boa !!

Why I like them: BOA IS EVERYTHING??? I love the character concept to start with. I adore the idea of some background grunt who isn’t recruited in a SPECIAL fashion like Shu or Kyoya or whoever rising up to become part of the main plot solely through his own motivations. I love Boa because he is pretty badass, but always speaks politely. I love Boa because he refuses to be controlled by Ashram and instead pursues his own motivations. I love Boa because he isn’t made totally bitter by his experiences in the Snake Pit, but instead can bond with kids on the street. BOA IS A GOOD KID.

Why I don’t: There is not a single flaw in Boa. 

Favorite episode (scene if movie): 36, more like DESTROY ME INSTANTLY. He has one scene, but damn.

Favorite season/movie

Favorite line: “I survived.” or “You were my aspiration.” BOTH ARE GOOD.

Favorite outfit: My options are with or without poncho and I chose with.

OTP: SHUBOA CAN KICK MY ASS.

Brotp: Boa and Norman had one interaction but I loved it and I want more. Let Boa and Norman shittalk Ashram together.

Head Canon: Always stores his bag in train station lockers as he travels the world following Shu around, which is why we never see him with baggage.

Unpopular opinion: Boa should have a bigger contribution to Shu’s redemption than Valt, because Boa understands present Shu’s situation far better.

A wish: See above, sob… A second wish is PLEASE APPEAR IN SEASON 3.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: don’t write him off the show before he can get a scene with nice!Shu, what the fuck.
