God of Fury by Rina Kent
My heart couldn’t handle the emotions of reading this book, and I will forever miss the first time I read it. Sometimes, we relate to a character because of the joys they experience in life. Other times, we relate to the characters because of their dark side, which is not often highlighted. Brandon King is such a sweet and caring man. Being different is never bad, it’s the most special thing…

With November being the month of Rememberance Day and the birthday month for the US Marine Corps (which anyone who knows me knows I have a huge affinity for), I figured this month my reading would be devoted to the Marines. Novembers Reading included: 1. Fields of Fire by James Webb (1978) 2. With the Old Breed by Eugene B. Sledge (1981) 3. Helmet for my Pillow by Robert Leckie (1957) 4. On Infantry: Revised Edition 🇨🇦 by John A. English and Bruce I. Gudmundsson #bookstagram #novemberreads #readingchallenge2022 #unitedstatesmarinecorps #usmc @marines #fieldsoffire #jameswebb #withtheoldbreed #eugenesledge #helmetformypillow #robertleckie #oninfantry #johnaenglish #bruceigusmunsson (at Aldershot, Nova Scotia) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClmkwwsJUZoq3ueM_3QCwdhY9pvhYJafkz4A_00/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Reading adventures!
I read a great deal of George Muller of Bristol today. I have about 150ish pages left. It reads more like a devotional book instead of a biography in places, but I don't mind. It's been a real blessing to me.
I also picked up Turkeys and Thanksgiving by Leena Clover. It's been sitting in my Kindle library for who knows how long, and of course now is the perfect time to pick it up. It's a short story, and the writing feels like there are some gaps, but I'm enjoying it overall.

Yes, hello, hi 😊 I've read 16 books for November, which I feel is still impressive considering I've been packing and moving and unpacking. TOG was amazing. I cried so much during Kingdom of Ash, it wasn't even funny. I finally read Blood and Ash. It was....Okay, I liked it more than I thought I would, so..Wins. I'm already behind for December because I haven't been doing much reading 😅😅 #bookworm #Novemberreads #itriedokay #struggles #allthestruggles https://www.instagram.com/p/Clw6jarJVyM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

💬 What was the last book you added to your shelf? 🤎📖 When I received Co-Op by @tdwittreadsandwrites in the mail I literally jumped up and down!! I cannot WAIT to start this one!! • forced proximity • marriage of convenience • second-chance romance • dual pov • angst & banter • beach setting • home renovations I’m so here for this!! Thank you so much to @tdwittreadsandwrites for gifting me this copy!! 🤎📖 . . . s u m m a r y : They say love and construction don't mix. By that logic, hate and construction may as well be condemned. LaRynn Lavigne and Deacon Leeds had one short and contentious summer fling when they were teens. Certainly nothing to build a foundation on. But a decade later, when their grandmothers have left them with shared ownership of their dilapidated Santa Cruz building, they're thrust back together and have to figure out how to brace up the pieces. LaRynn has the money, but to access her trust, she has to be married. Deacon has the construction expertise, but lacks the funds. A deal is struck: Marry for however long it takes to fix up the property, collect a profit, and cut ties. Thrust into a home without walls, they quickly learn that it's easy to hide behind emotional ones, even in a marriage. But, with all the exposure and pitfalls that come with living with the opposite sex (and none of the perks) they'll also have to learn what it means to truly co-operate as a team. The Co-op is a steamy story about restoration and renovation, and uncovering all the things that build character within ourselves. It's about the never-ending construction project that partnership is, and finding enjoyment at every stage. . . . h a s h t a g s : #coop #tarahdewitt #funnyfeelings #romancebooks #bookaddict #cozyreading #novemberreads #bookrecommendations #bookrecs #mustread #readingtime #alwaysreading #booknerdsandfriends #hygge #lifestylephotography #bookphotography #bookpic (at Home Sweet Home) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ckt0f14OkhL/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Heartless by Elsie Silver
I never thought a single-dad romance would have roped me in this much. Heartless introduces us to Cade and Willa, a brooding cowboy and a free-spirited woman, as they are thrust into each other’s lives head-on. The author balances laughter, love, and longing between both characters to the fullest extent possible. Somebody needs to get me a tissue for the tears I shed from the joys and sorrows of…

Reading Adventures
I finished Perilous Fight by Stephan Budiansky. I enjoyed it, although the writing style drove me a little crazy. He clearly researched this era thoroughly. I learned a lot about this war and enjoyed the discussion.
