To answer the many questions about the status of the construction work above our company headquarters as far as possible, here a short update on the ongoing changes in and around the #feldstrassenbunker Construction is progressing and, according to the latest estimates, should be completed in #spring2022. The rumours currently circulating are that the tenant of the bunker roof will be the @hardrockhotels If that’s the case: #Welcome to the bunker! Restless Travelers 0252 by Daniel D'Auria Via Flickr: Travel restrictions secondary to the pandemic still make it difficult to travel. The logistics of returning home with tests and mandatory deadlines have prevented me from taking the leap. As a working physician, there are patients who depend on me. If I’m stuck a few days or weeks behind a border it leaves too many people inconvenienced. So, I sift through my archives for photos that as of yet have not been published and hope for a day when things will return toward normal.

I would like to thank Drake for making this song, if it weren’t for this song who knows what I’d be listening to now. This was the first rap song I ever listened to and I absolutely feel in love with it and another song on the album called “Headlines”, that was my first footstep in the rap genre. Because drake sings as well as raps I think that is a big reason why I pretty much like every type of music now.

Raw Beauty 6800 by Daniel D'Auria Via Flickr: I should be packing to leave for another visit to Canada’s icy Hudson Bay coast but the tiniest of sub-cellular particles has caused restrictions in travel across borders. It’s understandable and I am thankful that the virus affecting the world is not Ebola. If it were, the negligence of so many individuals would have had devastating consequences for our populations. We are lucky that the mortality rates for this novel illness is relatively low. The world will “only” see mortality rates in the millions rather than hundreds of millions. The overwhelming number will survive to appreciate nature’s raw beauty another day.

Time-out has a different connotation when it’s coming from a mother polar bear. This cub spent over an hour climbing and chewing on its mother. Did the punishment help? Not at all. There’s something to be said for having twins that can keep each other busy. #PolarBears

In collaboration with Blatant, I produced an animated spot introducing a new program by Westminster Savings. 'Project Better Balance' helps individuals and families achieve better balance in life by providing access to arts and active living opportunities in our communities. I managed the storyboarding, copywriting, motion graphics production, video editing and voice over recording session. It was an honour working with Alan Russell who wrote the script for this live-action motion piece. Alan is a legendary creative leader I have admired since I was 14 when I first discovered advertising as a career option during a 2-week job shadow at Palmer Jarvis DDB with my Aunt, Pat Guzzo.
