Channeling my favorite underrated Gryffindor today, badass Neville Longbottom, in my new Longbottom-esque sweater purchased recently from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! (Look for my haul coming to my YT soon! 😉) It’s the perfect blistering, windy day for it...so why not? 🧙‍♀️🌬⚡️#NotaGryffindor #ButILoveMeSomeNeville • • • • • #selfie #selfietime #falloutfit #autumnoutfit #fallstyle #autumnstyle #fallfashion #plussizefashion #autumnfashion #nevillelongbottom #longbottomsweater #nevillelongbottomsweater #wwhp #wwohp #harrypotter #harrypottermerch #harrypottersweater #potterhead #proudpotterhead https://www.instagram.com/p/B3uQ8gQA-mt/?igshid=a613eqndjods

The estate of Stratfieldsay which, the Duke used to say, would have ruined any man but himself, has had more done for it in the shape of permanent improvements  - of draining, of chalking, of substantial farm premises and such like – than, perhaps, any other single property in the south of England. It was a wretched investment of the public money; but the Duke, true to his usual maxim, did the best he could with it, and the annual income for a long series of years has been regularly laid out upon it. We have heard that, a few years ago, one of the agents of his Grace the Duke of Wellington waited upon him with the pleasing intelligence that a small estate adjoining Stratfieldsay, which the Duke had long wished to purchase, had been purchased for him for a certain sum, which the agent said was 2000l. less than the value of the estate. "Is it?" said his Grace, "then take 2000l. immediately to Mr. --; I will buy no man's land for less than it is worth."
Quoted from Wellingtoniana: Anecdotes, Maxims, and Characteristics, of the Duke of Wellington. Selected by John Timbs; London: Ingram, Cooke and Co., 1852; p. 100 et seq.

I want to ask Bertie Gilbert a question but I'm too cowardly.
