I find it interesting that both Scorpius and Draco thought Scorpius wasn't brave When Draco was actually someone who was scared of the simplest things as a child (remember the forest when Harry and Draco saw Voldemort drinking unicorn blood) And Scorpius wanted his father to know that he was braver than he thought.

Scorpius could honestly get with anyone he wanted in seventh year because he grew out of his awkward looks and is finally carrying that patented Malfoy Allure about him. However one is not able to outgrow their awkward and obnoxiously loud personality that makes everyone steer very clear of them.

Albus was always extremely handsome he's just unfortunately the equivalent of the "weird kid" in primary school who had the 'cheese touch' and so was avoided by everybody.

I like a scorpius who swears and drinks and makes sex jokes and kisses people and can be a bit moody and rude and just be a teenage boy!!!! he can 100% be incredibly sweet too and thoughtful and at times a bit naive but I am soooo much more interested in his less inherently positive traits… I just find that more compelling than this innocent cinnamon roll character who can’t swear and doesn’t know what sex is like he contains multitudes!!!! like gang I hate to say it but he’s at a co-ed boarding school I knowwwww shit goes down there!!! and I knowwww he isn’t blind to it!!!

also as much as I love a desperately yearning and possessive pining albus, I want to see that in scorpius too so bad!!!! I want to see what happens when he’s not just Sweet and Pleasant all the time!! I want to see what would push him beyond that and what makes him lose his temper!! I mean we see that in the play already but god I want to see the version of that where he’s in his later teens and dealing with growing up and exploring his sexuality and coming to grips with maybe being a little tooooo codependent with his best friend he’s desperately in love with and that being polite doesn’t always get you what you want!!! let him swear and lose his temper sometimes!!!! god knows being albus’ best friend has got to be a little trying at times!!!! there’s a reason they work!!!!
