the catharsis I just experienced at a midsummer nights dream is CRAZY…. if yall have ever lived with someone who hates ur fuckin guts you’ll understand!!!
#me when I’m at the show with my best best friend and we’re tipsy and giggling and having the best time#and I used to watch the proshot of this production on repeat when I was severely depressed/lonely/suicidal in m*lb#and I always said I’d give fuckin anything to see it live#and then I’m moving to london and they announce they’re bringing that EXACT production BACK!!!!#so I do actually get to see it live!!!!#and I’m with my best friend and I’m working my dream job and living life in a way I’d given up believing was possible#and oberon is giving bottom a lap dance to love on top and I get SMACKED IN THE FACE with his fucking pillows#and they knock my free flower crown off and me + bestie are laughing so hard we’re nearly crying#and then the show ends and we get ushered to the front to take pucks hands#and he delivers the final monologue of the play TO US#“give me ur hands if we be friends#and he’s holding my hand and my best friends hand#god that was so fucking special#and it’s the original puck actor as well from that video I used to watch alone in my dark dark apartment#and then he’s holding our hands saying thank you thank you so much#and we’re saying it back to him#and I can’t even tell him I’m thanking him for keeping me sane (lol) and keeping me company in the darkest time of my life#GOD!!!!!!#that was fucking MAGIC!!!!!!#best night of my life fr fr#I can’t even tell you how good everything is rn and the way I thought I’d never feel like this#girl. if I could tell the me of then that I would in fact get to see that production live#and that I’d be seeing it with my best friend living in my dream country working my actual unreal dream job#and that we’d be included in it in such a special way…..#LIFE!!!!!!!!#there’s more I could say but I shant…..#just know I’m doing amazing <333
