This feels kinda silly, but I can't stop my brain when it likes something, so.. leshycat ship baby who is SO small, it ain't possible as far as I'm aware but by God would that baby be so damn adorable and loved, and also likely a very chaotic and giggly baby. Happiest lil thing ever

FINALLY, I AM READY TO ANSWER! Sorry it took this long, but I put a lot of effort into this and couldn't be prouder of this design. Presenting: Leshy and Tharen's baby girl, Helianthine.

Leshy's genes here won the war as it was supposed to be for a godly creature, so she is a worm and plant. But that doesn't mean Tharen didn't win some fights. Her "fur" is long like her cat dad and yellow... but those are also petals and not leaves and what's a flower with long yellow petals? YES 🌻

Helianthine is in fact taken from Helianthus (the common sunflower latin name). She has Tharen's cat-like eyes but they are green as Leshy's. Just so Narinder can stare inside them and be reminded what he destroyed for his little brother who will never see his child (angst, anyone?) Personality like, Leshy won the war again. She is chaotic and destructive, but Tharen gives her that super sweetness that makes her do no wrong in the eyes of anyone. Heket will defend her with her life. She had Helianthine for half an hour and if anything happened to her she will kill everyone in this cult and then herself.

WRONG TURN 4!!!!!!!!

This is my favourite cause it dangles on the fine line of realism and cartoony which I like Now Wrong Turn 1 will always be my favourite realism design no matter what, it's the OG Wrong Turn and it'll always be the best out of all the series. But my personal favourite is Wrong Turn 4, and it's mostly One-Eye's design I like the most simply cause he fucking hot man. Also he's cute as

Not a single thought behind that eye All cuteness no brains, which I adore Wrong Turn 2 is also a favourite in design, but it's really only the Odets with their current design and Three-Fingers is definitely a good design there, to me 2nd movie and 4th Movie Three-Fingers designs are pretty equal, but his 1st movie design will always be best, I just prefer to draw the 4th one. Though with Saw-Tooth, I prefer his 1st movie design the most, the others just don't compare to the large intimidation of the 1st. Obviously they're not going to get an actor that size ever again, which is understandable, but they started to make Saw-Tooth a bit more silly and stupid as the other movies came along, 4th movie did well with the whole older brotherly care, but its just feels a bit too different. Either way, I do mix the 4th and 1st movie Saw-Tooth personalities and behaviours together when I can cause they can work.

It's always "why does Paper beat Rock?" You just kind of choose to accept it as fact. If you have three items and each one is weak against one and strong against another, you'll likely end up with a combo that doesn't really make sense.

Except it does make sense. You think. Like, this is the basis of your whole world. Of battle. Of creation. Of life. It makes sense. You are not in denial. IT MAKES SENSE!! It has to. Why would the world itself depend on it if there wasn't a good reason. And there's a perfectly good reason.

You boil these concepts down into their rawest form. Simple things, to make it easy to understand. For anyone to easily and quickly grasp. You get it. You struggle too sometimes (how many times have you gone through the tutorial again?) But when you say rock, paper, scissors, you don't really mean rock, paper, scissors.

Protecting, Creative, Piercing.

These are proper concepts. But you can go further, you think. Or rather, you know it does. You've only scoured every book how many times now? You have a sieve for a brain and you still swear to the stars you can see the letters in your mind when you close your eye.

Rock. A sturdy, unyielding object. Crushing. Shattering.

Paper. Pliable, adaptable material. Enveloping. Shielding.

Scissors. A sharp object. Cutting. Striking. Slicing.

Paper beats rock because of its ability to envelop and neutralize Rock’s crushing potential. It encases it. Renders it harmless, incapable of causing damage. All while remaining intact.

Rock loses because it lacks countermeasures. It is rigid, inflexible. It cannot envelop or cut through. So it is bested. That is what you've learned. What you've read. What you believe. You could quote the book directly, citation and all, you think! Odile would be so proud. Haha.

So... yeah! The next time (and there will be a next time!!!!!) someone says, "Paper beats Rock just because!" you can say...

thinking of doing a couple comics with Reith. One is boarded out just silly, Halsin being oblivious to hints they are his kid.

The other more serious Reith getting tossed into the bear cage and them escaping a little early. And maybe Reith having to explain why they've been lying to Halsin.

Also need to actually like. Draw Tav XD and maybe make Reith younger? both cause head-canon about elf families that made me sad from ride-a-dromedary since apparently lore has age eleven be when they stop being parented more directly by the birth parents and spread out more among the rest of the group so Halsin would miss the entire traditional bonding window in a way. But Also cause I want them to be closer to age to Yenna and the other kids and based on Oliver they are like, eight instead of 12.

since i just rb'd a poll abt high school grades now's probably a good time to drop one of my many million-dollar ideas for how to run a high school classroom, which is that i think that at the start of a quarter/semester kids should be asked if they want hw to count towards their grades or not bc i was So Fucking Bad at submitting hw in high school, but my test scores were really good, so i'd rather have not had hw count towards my grades. but obviously there are a good number of kids who are either bad at taking tests or anxious abt their grades dropping and are diligent abt turning in hw, so letting hw count towards their grades would give them some padding in that situation.
