Okay time to rip this crossover trailer to shreds. First the Grimm are no threat to the Justice League.

You cannot convince me that Superman will have any difficulty dealing with a Grim army. Add in Wonder Woman, Flash, and Jessica Cruz and it is basically over. Grimm arent even on Parademon level and those things are Apokolips cannon fodder that Batman can beat with ease. I know they see the Grimm are evolving to their weaknesses, but Kryptonite only works on Superman?

Wonder Woman is almost as strong as him and has almost no weaknesses, besides in her early days when you could beat her by tying up her hands but I dont think these grimm can consider that a great deal of strength. In Batman's contingenies for the JL, he needs to give Wonder Woman a "Phantom Opponent" aka fake construct of some sort like a hologram or a simulation to keep her locked in battle. No way any of these Grimm are doing that.

And as for Flash? Again, no Weaknesses besides plot stopping him! Unless those Grimm tap into the speed force no Grimm should be able to touch him.

I didnt see any yellow Grimm either so unless these things can somehow make Jess lose her will power they stand no chance. She has taken on way stronger armies, these glorified hell hounds dont stand a chance

I didnt mention them above so I'll speed run them cuz I still think the Grimm stand no chance. Cyborgs tech is way too immense and can adapt and upgrade constantly, so if the Grimm evolve so can he. Vixen and Black Canary are meta humans and can easily take on the Grimm cannon fodder, both hero's are around building level and are amazing at hand to hand combat. And as much as I hate how OP he is for being a rich guy with good tech

Batman can clear out these grimm. Not only does Batman have contingencies for every league member up above who can easily stomp these Grimm into black mist, Batmans no kill rule only applies to humanoids. Grimm are just animals on steroids, Batman is gonna be mercing them.

Like does the Leauge REALLY need team RWBY? Just call up the other members like Martian Manhunter, the 3-4 other Lanterns, Aquaman, Dr Fate, Shazam, the Hawks, Zatana, Constantine, the Teen Titans, or literally so many other people? If they say in the movie that the other members are across the world also dealing with this then thats fair. Not really cuz so many of these characters can wipe out these Grimm with ease! Grimm are weak! They aren't like something that can give the Teen Titans a run for their money!

You know I actually feel bad when I wanted to see Jaune on screen.

But with the JL this is like Tuesday to them. They've fought the Legion of Doom, the forces of Apokolips, Gods new and old, whole Lantern Corps, demons and monsters, Meta Humans out the ass, and so much more. Hellhounds that can replicate their powers and weaknesses should be a cake walk. But somehow they're gonna nerf the hero's and make team RWBY the greatest hero's of all time! They're gonna save the Justice Leauge and the earth! They did everyone now clap! Clap and forget how those incompetent idiots doomed their own world!

I hate this. I hope this is the last RWBY project released. I feel bad for the animators who got forced to make this, I dont want it to flop so they dont suffer but FUCK do I hate this and want it to flop so bad it finally kills Rwby so I can stop seeing greenlight volume 10. The only hashtag more annoying is the restore the Snyderverse.

so you know the song bouquet by itchiko aoba ? well a good chunk of the song is mainly flowers, so ended up a fic like “crowley and aziraphale through history, but a flower that is mentioned in the song is present in an encounter we see”. like ‘plumeria’—its a ficlet in the garden and a bush of plumerias happens to be nearby or part of the scene ! its mostly chrono, but i tried to keep it as close as possible. not too much has been written yet other than the garden of eden example i gave you, and there’s a lot of flowers, but im gonna dew it all 😌

human incarnate (under cut due 2 length)

okay THIS one’s a bit more complex and infinitely longer. its a reincarnation story ! but of course, not exactly what you might have seen before. now, bit of context, i’ve mever really liked human aus—they are some amazing works out there and i’ve read a good chunk dont get me wrong, but its not exactly something i seek out—im there for the mystical, the immortal dance, etc etc. but one day this story just came up, and i COULDNT let it go. so: human aziraphale and crowley trying to stop the apocalypse but theyre actually an angel/demon duo but reincarnating every few decades. so one day they died (this if ofc plot relevant but if i explain it its ANOTHER long ass paragraph, so lets just say it involves fire and one of my favorite historical events *not alexandria*), and they started incarnating together, some lives never meeting and others meeting once or others changing them entirely, only to eventually truly converge in the present day (like 2008) in time for heaven and hell to realize the trick and the apocalypse on the brink of beginning. easy no memory shtick and stuff, and the appeal is 1) trying to stop armageddon without their respective powers/knowledge, and 2) relearning their love story one life at a time. its the exact balance of Supernatural and Human i would love to read, but never have seen. there might be fic like that out there (and i’d love to read it) but this is hopefully something I can execute nicely. some highlights:

- raising warlock is a such a funnier ordeal becayse they dont have powers to help them out. its a DISASTER

- them figuring out their miracles and their limitations when their powers slowly start tricking back (they're not yet where they're supposed to be, but after heaven and hell's first contact, they arent exactly human anymore, are they?) like warlock's birthday ! its just funny to me..

- crowley and aziraphale's limited contact before armageddon is about. its just a neighborhood crush, nothing more, but then it escalates like THAT ? imagine the guy who curates your flower bouquets you bring to your grandpa's grave (he's not related to you) (and he also happens to be you) and looks kinda pretty ngl is actually your immortal enemy you've been locked in a homoerotic relationship with since the beginning of time. and is a DEMON. of HELL. woah

- hell and heaven don’t really frighten aziraphale and crowley most of the narrative, until the plot ramps up. at first, theyre just Fuckin Weird to them, and seeing a few chapters of them just ridiculing their HEAD OFFICES without knowing just how powerful they can be makes me crack up

- crowley's tattoos (including the snake, which he has NO IDEA where it came from)

- aziraphale's bible and prophecy collection (inherited from his grandpa) (whom he is not related to) (who is also him)

- theyre both trans. one cool thing about this is that aziraphale intentionally chose his name based on the angel who guarded eden, which is HIM. for some odd reason, his name never did fade from the bible editions, and he is still known to this day. Cough Cough Crowley Cough Cough anyway also he and crowley both cycled through some other names before reaching their final ones, which are all names they’ve had in past lices :) because while their past lives have been connected to their old identities in some ways, it wasnt until 2008 where it really became similar. its almost like they knew things were coming…..

- (this trans fact is revealed during the six hours of drinking after adam is delivered <3)

- the bookshop fire

- holding hands at the end of the world

- no stars to run to, because crowley doesnt even know he built that one. but he still fucking loved astronomy anyway!!! he used to want to be an astronaut, you know. before the world tore him down

- aziraphale, on the other hand, never knew what he wanted to be. Good, that he knew, but Good at what?

- all of the fcuking.... scenes.... hittinf anathema, tadfield manor, I JUST!!!!

- some of their cliched past lives being the following: pirate/naval captain, bodysnatcher/cemetery caretaker, brandy spy/allied bookseller, 17th century witches, fugitive/aristocrat, and ofc, present day: struggling florist/bookseller who doesnt really sell any books and lives off of his grandpa's fortunes (again, not related) (who is also him)

- crowley growing up on the velvet underground and aziraphale growing up UNDER A ROCK. queen plagues them both...

for context the book has pacific rim style mechas, but instead of being drift compatible or whatever its usually a male pilot and his concubine whose life force he usually drains in order to pilot the thing, but theres a LOT of propaganda that makes girls want to be concubines, or families might wanna send their daughters for the money. im simplifying it a LOT especially cause theres more info u only learn later on as zetian herself finds out but anyway

at the start of the book zetian and yizhi are besties who obviously have feelings for each other. zetian is poor while hes very rich so their friendship is kind of a secret and they meet in the woods which i think is cute, point is its p clear zetian tries to mantain a distance, not allowing herself to admit her feelings. for reasons i wont say zetian decided to become a concubine to one of the like bigger more badass guys even if she doesnt believe the propaganda and knows she might die, she only tells yizhi this the day before

he shows up at her house the next day begging her family to let him marry her?????? which is sweet because he wants to protect her but that isnt gonna work bestie sorry she's a woman w a mission

so anyway she goes to the concubine thing and shes surprisingly powerful "for a girl" which yeah thats a super common trope but shes so much more than just the strong protagonist. shes extremely powerful in every sense of the word imo and i love her so much and i wish the world hadnt been so cruel that she had to become so strong. but anyway the guy she wants to pilot w picks her. MAJOR SPOILER they have to pilot the mecha on day 1 cause they're under attack and uhhh she kills him lol lmao she drains her life force instead which supposedly is UNHEARD OF

so they cant just kill her off cause that'd look bad instead they send her to be the concubine of the strongest guy (all of his concubines die after 1 fight) and thats Li Shimin my beloved my little meow meow hes looked down on and kinda treated like an animal cause hes a criminal and the only reason he gets to be a pilot is his powerful qi. anyway shes forced to live w him and turns out hes just a lil guy. like hes very big and scary looking but hes just a tired man pls he needs a break. she fucking survived piloting w him which nobody expected. so now theres a lotta stuff going on i wont get into but some ppl arent happy w this duo cause they're both very powerful and not exactly happy to serve. and Shimin has a drink problem.

Saw your post about sexism in the fandom made an account just to say that while the hermitcraft/empires community is generally kinder to its female CCs there is a concerning trend towards girlbossification (for lack of a better term) instead of the sister-racist dichotomy you mentioned. Even more noticeably feminine-presenting streamers are given the same sort of boyish appearance you discussed in regards to DSMP women, with the exception of ZombieCleo who has stated that they likes curvier portrayals of themself.

On the bright side, lore by female streamers in the community get far more attention from the community than for the DSMP from what I’ve seen. The amount of appreciation for 5AM Pearl and Cleo’s role in the series is refreshing. Personal bias speaking, but Cleo’s knack for roleplaying really shines in that series. The amount of content for groups or storylines that involve her such as Gaslight/Gatekeep/Girlboss, Fairy Fort, Divorce Quartet and Crastle (+Etho), while still less than that for those that involve more popular male CCs (ex. Team BEST especially BE, Dogwarts, Desert Duo - may be due to season 1 bias), makes me hopeful.

While M/F ships used to overshadow the female CCs themselves in the past (ex. Iskall/Stress, Joe/Cleo), it’s nice to see that female CC’s dynamic with their male counterparts is now treated with more respect (ex. Soup Group appreciation). The community does fixate a lot on M/M ships though.

thanks for sending the hermit side of things! im not super familiar with it but ive seen enough of the fandom on here to suspect that you're right-- i also think hermitblr/hermit enjoyers generally have the benefit that there's more female ccs and less overall fame, so they see more women and have less of the trickle down effect from twitter & the general misogynistic gaming culture.

fanart is a hard one for any fandom because people are really bad at drawing anyone who isnt thin and white and a dude and often refuse to learn; im glad zombiecleo's stuck up for herself and told people off for drawing her skinny.

m/m shipping has always dominated fandom-- from the origins of slash fiction with star trek (yes, fandom pretty much began with star trek. any fic trope you can think of is from star trek) to voltron m/m is across the board more popular for the reasons i listed in my post. people are scared to depict women in genuine romantic and sexual relationships and more than that they often just don't care. glad to hear female ccs arent defined by their shipping dynamics though!

i love this and i think its amazing genuinely but as a certified freak who's replayed all the telltale games abt 2 morfucktillion times i am going to have to

generally when i look at what could and could not be 'canon' in the sam & max timeline i check for exactly one thing: if it would directly contradict another thing, or disallow another thing from existing.

and i dont mean in text. in 101, sam mentions he 'regrets' his 'lack of technical background' which goes against him reprogramming that robot in hit the road, AND basically all of chariots of the dogs. this means its still canon that sams a big robot nerd.

i think your idea of the comics being the beginning of it all is pretty awesome, but i mildly disagree with the thought of TTIV being seperate from the telltale series, primarily bc of the frequent references to the telltale games - sam mentions the events of 305 like twice

canonically, poker night 1 happens i think right around the same time as beyond time and space, while poker night 2 happens after 305

i agree for the most part, even going past the fact that max IS extremely jealous of lumpy, considering the opening where he loudly opposes lumpy's joining, the throwaway line about him "protecting his territory" from them, etc.

by the end of the telltale games, max is way calmer than he used to be. though this could be chalked up as the max we see literally being a year younger than the original telltale max, there wouldnt be THAT much difference, and considering you the player are not in on the jokes like you are in the telltale games i feel like they shouldve toned it down a bit

having rewatched the end bit, where max PRACTICALLY APOLOGIZES FOR BEING WEIRD TO SAM (!??!!?), which he rarely ever does, especially GENUINELY, and considering the way sam GENUINELY IS TERRIFIED FOR MAX when he thinks max is dead, i'd say that they aren't really tired of each other but more at a low point in their relationship that they arent sure how to get out of. and even then, they still physically fight (which is more or less their brand of affection), they still reminisce about old cases (and that one time max put the aquabears into hibernation), max still gently pokes fun at sam, even if sam's mostly focused on training lumpy 99% of the time. they still care about each other, but theyre just going through it (which also feeds into my personal theory [not hc but theory] that the only reason the two rarely seem affectionate in the telltale games is because of a sudden awareness of other people in the world as potentially being equal to them and a fear of being met with homophobia and backlash and also theyre 2000's games)

ive never played ttiv, just... every single other game...... but i did watch the 99th vr playthrough and have rewatched it about four times and so i hope im not missing something horribly awkward that completely shatters my perspective on these two

i think that in the end their relationship depends entirely on what year it is, who's writing them, what the wind's like today, and how funny their relationship could be in the moment, but what's ALWAYS true is that they ALWAYS care about each other.

i was being a completely sane person today (/s) and was creating a timeline tree for snm would anyone even be interested in that. and collecting my shipping thoughts (or specifics about them being a couple etc). know that i still consider my knowledge of the franchise as poor. its just tidying it up in my head so when i talk about something i can pinpoint a specific thing (i was too deep in fnaf theorizing so now i have to suffer thru a franchise that doesnt even have a canon)

in short/tldr the comics are the base that happened in every possible timeline and everything else is derived from that, happening after, except the cartoon, which shows some events the same way so that would be more intertwined; not everything is connected/within one timeline. and the cartoon is my most fav and where i see them as a true couple.

on one hand i really like the time travel theory where its like comics -> ttg -> cartoon etc by them travelling back in time for that, however there are many holes especially thinking about their families and stuff so

i like the idea of things branching off. one branch is comics - htr - cartoon, as something more intertwined

second is comics -> ttg -> poker night 2 (since it references ttg events) (idk bout 1 i havent played/seen that)

third would be comics -> ttiv (or comics -> htr -> ttiv, i have no idea atm if bosco's is mentioned in the comics but it is in htr and mentioned in ttiv. ttiv is also set in the year it came out, so theres a huge gap inbetween ttiv and htr but i wouldnt say its where the ttg games happened!)

and i dont mean this in like a multiverse way, since the creator seems to dislike that, its simply just a very loose canon that differs with each installment (simply due to different people working on these imo. nothing too deep imo)

but the juicy part!! i even made brackets that im too lazy to remake digitally so i will just write it out for each bigger installment. im excluding poker night 1 as i havent played it nor watched much gameplay

comics: M - unlikely; BF - yes absolutely

htr: M - possible; BF - yes

cartoons: M - i take it as canon here. BF - yes million percent

ttg all seasons: M - no; BF - yes.

poker night 2: M - not sure, implied dating, i take that as good enough; BF - yes

ttiv: M - absolutely not. not a couple at all. BF - they seem too tense, yes, but from my experience playing, their interactions were imo the worst in all of their media, so i wasnt buying it at some points

note - ttiv has to be like the straightest they ever were and i also see it in S.P.'s more recent work. im looking too deep into that, perhaps, but im just thinking were never gonna get anything similar to what we got from back in the 90s again, if theres any future projects

people are also saying they got married like 4 times and its making me a bit confused here. do people mean cartoon, htr dress up card, cake topper and tdph ring scene or am i missing something big?? because to me that is married once, other ones being just for jokes (first one as well but its less vague), and in the ttg games its so extremely vague i cant count that (being realistic here) that said its still fun to joke about them getting married several times, but in this case wouldnt it be more of a marriage per timeline?

and to end this, a personal tierlist

my most fave obviously is the cartoon. not only is it the easiest to work with for me, with the fast pacing and short watch time (but ofc i wish it was longer) i absolutely love how their relationship is depicted there, even if a lot of stuff there is just jokes, but if everything is a joke then its also fine to take everything as canon within this media, to me! like when haters say that people only take the wedding scene out of the intro and ignore the rest - as if the other stuff couldnt happen (isnt one of the shots them fighting a giant octopus, which they end up having an episode about too. like cmon. anything goes here) even if it was contained within this specific part of the franchise, im ok with calling them a couple here. and its S tier overall

another S tier is the comics. nothing else to say

HTR is like A tier to me, only taking off points because its soooo sloooowwww and playing it after watching the series took 3 years off my life immediately. otherwise gud game.

ttg is like A to B tier for me, because of some specifics and preferences but thats just me being nitpicky so, the games overall are good. A- it is. thats all

poker night 2 is fun, i watch the gameplay a lot lately when im too tired at midnight to do anything else, A tier

ttiv. oh how mixed i am about you. gameplay by itself and my first experience with the game - S tier. it made me so giddy more than one time and i kept wanting to come back until i finished the game fully. i dont mind the bugs, its just what i expect in VR games and even tho it made me a bit frustrated at times it wasnt all that bad. its also the only vr game i played for over an hour once and didnt get motion sick - the exception was the level at the store which seemed too bright and actually made me nauseous. which is a feeling that somehow comes back whenever i think about this game. what i dislike was the dialogue, while most of it was fun and fine, i had moments where i just burst out laughing, they (or max especially) were way too mean towards the player. i know its a joke and you could chalk it up to max being unhappy with us/jealous, but it got like, generally unpleasant very quickly. with stuff like good throw - "nice!" bad throw - *neverending insults* and the second was how painfully straight it was and like. the vibes i got from them two was like, oh theyre fed up with each other and my shipping self was just left quite disappointed. i did not get all lines during my gameplay which made it great but upon going thru every line manually after, i was just more and more uncomfortable with what they said in their banter. this drops the game to like C for me? maybe B if i squint. being generous. i also got sick of their talking animations over time... the models are fine just got to be too much. bonus points for max ragdoll physics tho. coming up with a conclusion that this is a completely separate timeline and has nothing to do with anything other than the comics and perhaps HTR. i talked so long about this one cause its the one thing that prompted all of this lol.

but its not that serious! i just knew this franchise for ages as "oh its the two animal guys that are married and its funny" and now that i got into it fully, i see a lot of the shippers are obviously daydreaming and taking things out of context - which is fun, i agree!! i also do that. but it just painted a completely different picture for me. so no. theyre not married, theyre not a couple, except for the cartoon, where its implied, which stays on top for me. but in ttg at least, they love each other, its not as romantic, but i can ship them there (so i ship them in the context of the cartoon and ttg basically)

anyway. nothing is canon for them, everything is canon for them, and everything they say or do is a joke so. its not that deep at all. they gay tho

Ok here me out, Saturn retrograde is demonized at times and tbh well it doesn't click with me. Yes retrogrades are tricky, but listen. We should also consider WHAT planet we are talking about here right.

And according to me? Saturn in Retrograde is anyday better than Saturn in Direct (Saturn direct people dont come for me but you're still killing it ok?)

There are number of things why I make this statement.

Saturn is end of the day the planet of limitations, following rules and routines too, As I said in one of my previous posts how Saturn acts like a Servant, He rules karma and is significator of old age.

Now when it goes retrograde, all of these things, actually flip. (No I'm not saying Saturn suddnely is not signifying old age or karma 💀)

Saturn here, a rule follower, a servant. Doesn't wanna be that anymore. He who in direct, represents limitations, He wants to BREAK them when he is in retrograde, This position actually makes one a lowkey or even high key (Depending on the position) A clear rebellion. Saturn wants to become limitless here. He wants to do things that are not associated with Saturn in direct. He goes all crazy opposite, and tbh most of these things can be considered positive.

As he now wants to become limitless, Saturn in direct natives, who can be restricting in certain way or fashion,With Retrograde Saturn here goes out and wants to experience and learn, the seeking, eager energy is CRAZY here. And he will learn in ways that are not traditional, yeah, he loses his track of traditionality here too. He hates routines and doesn't wanna be abided by them which then makes them someone who wouldnt ever go for a 9 to 5 job, a good tip- if you see someone with Saturn in Retro just know, they arent made for 9 to 5 jobs. Even if they end up in one, it ain't gonna last long. (THERE CAN BE SOME EXCEPTIONS) but so far, I haven't seen anybody with Saturn in retro happily doing the jobs with fixed timings. Its just not for them, while saturn in direct can adjust with it if they want to. (You'll see most celebrities having Saturn in Retro) because mostly in media business, timings, routines, etc are never fixed. And people in Saturn retro can do AMAZING with such jobs , because for them even in daily "routines" they need this feel the sense of newness.

You'll tell them "we going to work 3 in the morning" and they'll be "ah what ok gonna pack bags ig"

Overall this retro kinda makes them adventurous, they lowkey need adventure in some kind or form (If these guys have Jupiter retro along with this, their " adventure" might mean ending up learning about weirdest things at 4 in the morning) .

Now coming with the old age thing and karma. This thing kinda flips too. How?

Saturn in retro makes you struggle in the first half of your life (so making you pay for your karma when you are young) and then letting lose relax as you cross your 30s.

While saturn in direct can make you struggle in later half of the life (old age). After 30s.

People with Capricorn placements even if with Saturn in retro can make one yet conservative, traditional,limiting and unconventional and experimental at the same time. It's a weird weird match. The native might even question themselves here and there "am I legit like that...I thought I was like THIS".

This can be caused, because of constant friction between Capricorn and Saturn retro. Specially if Saturn is in Aries (Lmao idk this is chaotic)

Saturn Retro in Aries legit gonna add such a fire to the already rebellion Saturn and if you have cap placements there is constant back and forth.

Oh and because it has CROSSED the limitations,, it makes you successful in life, cus no limitations right? Specially if its sitting with good placement like 10th, 11th or 3rd.

Saturn in Retro can also make one quite with ethic of being rich. (I'm talking in vedic terms) back then being rich according to sages were being "Spiritual" while pleasures and desires were seen as sign poverty. Saturn in retro kinda gives this boost of possibilty of one becoming rich in life (in sense of desires, money etc)

Saturn in retrograde thus becomes about "Self" rather than the Servant Saturn in direct who is always about "Others". Saturn in retro knows where to think about self and also about others. Here one becomes quite reflecting of their own actions because they are now paying attention to themselves too just as outside.

Now this rebellion side may take a turn and become quite toxic (as in hurting the society and always caring about going against elders to the point its actually stupid) but if your mars is well placed (if Mars in Capricorn for instance these guys will be well balanced of all. They know when to cross lines and when to live by their own rules) and if you have grounding placements of Virgo, you'll be fine too.

-But mostly saturn retro doesn't make you go act crazy etc. This is a rare instance that could take place, though personally I haven't seen anybody with this placement doing such things but let's say it's more like a add up to what could go wrong, IF.

Overall, Saturn in Retro makes you a limitless, experimental, unconventional and quite adjusting of a person. While the direct can make one quite limiting and all this saturn purely represents. Hence why I land on to saying, Saturn in retrograde is tbh? NOT BAD.

These guys are diamonds that are tbh, too excited (If placed in aries) for anything. And if saturn is Retro and in Aries seith not much capricorn present, the friction would maybe be less because there is no direct Saturn to cause restrictions here.

literally after everyone had left he was still in your room looking around like a meerkat assessing it’s surroundings

fast forward; you guys are dating and he was VERY curious as to how your quirk worked, and you explained how your spells and energy came from the crystals and jewels

each crystal gave you a different energy, which converted to your power!

kirishima literally watched in awe as you pointed at all the different coloured gems and jewels and the symbols on your walls

he even asked to touch some of them and asked where you got them

he also asked to see them in battle, and asked if you had any similar to his own quirk!

the both of you engaged in LOTS of different mock battles, which almost always ended up in a play fight rather than real training- just because he ends up enjoying watching you use your quirk too much to actually focus

once you two had engaged in a long, breathless make out session against one of the walls- what can I say? you wanted to see what it felt like to kiss kirishima in his red riot form and have him melt back to normal under your touch

yeahh...it was a bad idea to do that in the school gym, where half of class 1-B caught you two mushed together against a wall

he asks SO many questions

sometimes just sits on your bed for ages and asks one after the other after the other, to the point where aizawa has to come and send him back to his side of the dorm

let me tell you now: if you are 1) planning to get anything or 2) NEED anything, don’t let him find out

you once let it slip that you were considering getting pouches to carry these crystals, and the sweet, sweet boy went out and bought BUCKETS of bags

yes buckets because he didn’t know if your crystals would be affected by material or size of the bag or- god forbid what if it did and he ruined your quirk in battle?! 

he’d never forgive himself.

like literally he’d be on his knees ready for punishment of how you saw fit because of his mistake

all of them were bought with your costume in mind and how could you not keep some of the bags? with kirishima watching you with the biggest eyes and slightly-pouting-lips-but-he-would-never-admit-it there was no way you didn’t keep the most useful ones

you asked him to return the extra bags so he wouldn’t have wasted his money, whilst you repaid his kindness with lots and lots of kisses and cuddles

sometimes it comes off that he’s not interested in your quirk in a general sense, but it’s only because he doesn’t know how to ask without seeming pushy

he gets shy (but doesn’t show it) but with time that decreases to a sort of dry affection

i’m not saying he’s a dry boyfriend but he definitely isn't as spritely as someone like Denki might be

the way you’d see that he wanted to know more was if he asked you to come and fight with him, train with him and study

this is where he asked about your quirk

he didn’t ask to the extent of kirishima, who said everything that came to mind, he asked precise questions that gave him all the information he was desperate to know because you are so cool it makes his heart burn needed

and he also knew you would add more information as you explained, which he loved because he loved hearing you talk so passionately

this time your quirk allowed you to control people to an extent, depending on different plants and herbs you used

the plants each had a special line, muttered as you dropped the herbs anywhere on your opponent for it to activate

best believe todoroki asked for one to knock endeavour out, literally out of nowhere💀

once, one night you had been laying on your bed, and todoroki had popped over to see you. it was still quite early on in your relationship so you weren’t expecting him to cuddle up beside you and tuck into your smaller body, chin hooked onto your shoulder whilst his eyes bore into yours from below todoroki loves eye contact

‘Do your plants have meanings?’

that’s it, that’s all he softly whispered in your ear

‘What do you mean?’ You whispered back

‘Like...like roses mean love...do your herbs have a meaning linked to what they do?’

okay now he was blushing, very gently because he didn’t want to annoy you, or ask you a question you’d never thought of and make you feel silly or insecure about his quirk

YOU on the other hand were smothering a dopey grin. you knew your boyfriend and his boundaries, and you knew that him asking you in such an intimate setting meant he was trying hard for you

you also knew that he’d just given you free reign to ramble however you saw fit

so you explained, how each herb did this, how if you mixed them they did that, if you made a liquid infused with them it helped with your application in battle and so much more

todoroki listened silently, but his eyes were gleaming

literally glowing in the darkness- I mean was that even possible? it had to have been considering how todoroki looked at you that night

after you were done, he replied with a similar thing about his own quirk, and both of you had a long long chat that went from quirks, to schooling, to life, to aliens and more

todoroki had the weirdest humour, he never knew he was being funny until your quiet giggles morphed into full blown laughter- and caused a knock from the next room over because you were being too loud

he would let out his own little chuckles and smirks, seeing you enjoy his company so much

it was a while after that day when something new happened

you’d sent him a message, whilst he was sitting right next to you, and your contact name flashed on his screen suddenly, catching your eye

‘my calendula’

you looked at todoroki

todoroki looked at you

you both blinked

‘calendula?’ you asked

‘yes’ todoroki replied

‘why calendula?’

‘because,’ todoroki blushed deeply, eyes flickering away from yours

‘because you said calendula means joy...you’re my joy. arent you?’

and god help anyone who tries to say you aren’t todoroki’s joy

because you would literally throw them to the ground

your heart soared at how todoroki loved you and your quirk so much

even though it wasn’t blatantly obvious, it was the little things he did for you 😍

he originally going to call you his basil until Bakugou came round behind him asking him if he was writing the dorms grocery list. safe to say that plan was aborted immediately :D

I headcanon you’re REALLY strong

Remember bakugos reactions to all the students quirks and he was like ‘shit I cant beat them 😨’

And his reaction to todoroki? yeah he’d literally see you use your quirk and just

no I’m joking

but I feel like as your s/o he’d be super obsessed with your quirk

he’d always want to train with you, he’d see it as an amazing part of you that he wants to help hone so you can be the best of the best

not better than him obviously but the best anyway

not that he’d SHOW all of this awe and pride to you, it’s normally delivered in a bunch of bakugo sentences:

‘oi your form is shit. do this instead.’

that means he’s realised a new way you can throw this punch, with much more force

‘tch, go train. you need the training.’

he wants to train with you. again.

‘....finally. took you long enough to learn that.’

you’ve just done something successfully and he’s trying so hard not to blush at how well you did it.

here your power is more destructive

you can create sigils using a your finger in the air and they create attack power

this with bakugos quirk makes a formidable duo, and if he doesn’t get partnered with you he will most likely throw a fit

but not a long fit more of a like ‘oi why is she over there we work better together’

but he realises as heroes you need to work well with anyone you meet, so he’s not too fussy

because of the fact that you draw the sigils, you have a habit of tracing out patterns and new symbols and any sort of designs subconsciously

this is done normally on any part of your skin, with a pen

bakugo being old man bakugo 🙄 got mad at you

he told you off for almost giving yourself ink poisoning and ruining your hand and making it all dirty drama queen

but throughout all of this bakugo had been clutching your hand, and best believe he wasn’t letting go

he used the hand he was holding to pull you along and sit comfortably, dropping his own palm into your lap and mumbling something that kind of, sort of, might have been along the lines of ‘use my arm dumbass’

now you had bakugos arm to scribble on to your hearts content.

you used this when you were stressed, worried that your nerves were causing you to forget things or simply because you wanted to hold bakugo close

in fact, bakugo himself had adopted this habit, and you’ll notice I said arm instead of hand

bakugo got nervous around you, and therefore sweaty, which therefore lead to tiny little explosions in his palms when you were near

but this habit had started to make him feel comfortable with his hands around you, it made him trust himself more

he knew his power was strong and he didn’t want to hurt you, your quirk was something that helped him with that

and he wouldn’t tell you that but he was grateful. VERY grateful

he once asked why you used pen, and not your finger on your skin considering the pen ink is toxic

you answered very quickly, by pulling out a sheet of people and sliding your finger across the surface in a sigil shape

promptly the paper burnt into a cinder :)

and bakugo never asked again
