So the issue with creating my Rook/Veilguard OCs so ahead of release time is the backstories they have given us are very specific... I have already deluded enough to craft my own possible backstories- so now they will be reworked into AUs, anyway, here's Holly Monett 🦋✨️

Lore dump below...🦋🫶

She's an alchemist, in her late 30s, who was born in Orlais.

Black hair and bright blue eyes (she has her mothers eyes), prominent dark circles. Olive tone skin(?), lot's of beauty marks. Petite frame, short.

Blue moth/butterfly as her character motif. This theme will be prominent in her armour/outfit design.

Her mother (Edith Monet) was Orlesian, and her father (Marcus) Nevarran.

She moved back to Nevarra with her Papa when her Maman passed away from a rare terminal illness.

She learnt alchemy from her mom. She became highly skilled in her craft, able to cultivate and gather ingredients to make an aray of tonics, toxins, poisons, and explosives. She continued her mothers work (trying to make a cure for the same sickness that took her life, yaay), so that she lives on in their hearts and memories. (Poor Papa was not okay tm).

She's a Rogue(?) Mainly using deadly poison coated daggers and throw this vial at the enemy and see what happens style.

Holly never fully processed her grief, too focused on making sure her Papa was okay.

Holly has unrealistic expectations for what love should feel like. She's never felt it before (she came close once), not in the way her father describes it. (Girl, watch out that old man gonna make you feel so loved)

She ended up (kind of) joining the Mourn Watch after she sent a letter in, requesting to join on one of the excursions deep into the Necropolis, particularly interested in the flora and fauna she would be able to acquire and study down there (idk man I've not looked into any lore accuracies yet, I'm just having fun).

Emmrich took an interest in her work, passion clearly coming through in her writing, and agreed to let her come along despite his peers' protests. They made for quick friends, the chemistry between them apparent. (You know when u meet ur soulmate, yeah)

She then stayed within the Necropolis after that and helped with the preservation and organisation of the dead.

She would then occasionally be assigned to other expeditions with him, both finding different excuses to see each other while working within the Necropolis. (TeeHee)

Fun bits:

She has a stuffed rabbit simply called 'petit lapin' she has trouble sleeping without.

She likes to climb up high on things, like a cat, then she can't get down.

So, this is my little world where my 'canon' Rook is going to be her Cousin, Robert - he would be the one to drag her along into staying at the lighthouse, aiding them with her tonics and the like.

I'll no doubt switch it up when the game comes out but, I always end up making NPC OCs rather than main characters, oops.

I'll make more posts talking more abt Holly's parents and her Cousin.

can zam like, secretly begin to break his oath.

like can he do it slowly in a way you'd notice if you payed attention but in no other scenario.

I do think a few people would notice to varying reactions;

mapicc would notice and be happy about it I think. Reason: never stopping him killing people and eventually joining in most times or zam would just straight up tell him.

kab would notice and do that I'm so sorry voice with him, then like beg him to change his mind or some shit. Reason: he killed her and she got annoyed about it.

derap would notice and probably be confused but supportive as long as he didn't stop wanting to help him. Also, he'd probably be happy about zam killing people that annoyed him. Reason: teammates, they'd probably communicate about it.

4c would notice, probably through listening... I'm not too sure how he'd react, probably negatively. Reason: he overheard something.

mane and flame might notice, be confused about it but overall happier aslong as he continued fighting them. Reason: zam being more willing to kill people other than them.

minute maybe if he logs on would notice familiarities from last season. I'm not sure on his mindset though so he might be happy or neutral about it. Reason: getting more help with things from zam.

I'm sure there are other people, idk though.

Mouthwashing rant tw spoilers abt jimmy and curlys 'relationship'

Ok so idk abt here but on tiktok alot of ppl are shipping curly x Jimmy. And personal i get Jimmy's a rapist that doesn't deserve happiness but ik damn well that would not be a happy relationship. Idc eitherway I don't ship them, but literally any edit with the two of them is filled with comments abt how DARE you ship them and this isn't something you make ships abt (with yea I agree it's a horror game and Jimmy's the antagonist.) But you can't tell me you say this scene and didn't have any thoughts.

Jimmy is quite literally on his KNEES BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS. This whole scene is just UGHHH like we dont know if Curly would or could actually say this stuff, that he'd still play the villian in Jimmys fantasy, or if it's just Jimmys perception.

And let's not forget the scene where they were in the cockpit and shared their deepest concerns with eachother gay asf.

Now, personally, I see this scene in the photo above to depict their relationship very well, as Curly bring Jimmys adol, his so-called end goal. A higher power (quite litteraly with Curlys position as captain) to repent to. Constantly, he envys Curys position and wants it for himself, saying "your the highest ring on the ladder." Going as far as taking his title as soon as he's incapable and constantly correcting the crew when they don't acknowledge his just gained power. Aswhile Jimmy is jealous of his character, Curly always "takes care of it" and takes "responsibility" (at least in Jimmiys eyes), so he tries to replicate it. I believe that his final act of 'saving' Curly was him accepting that he can't be the 'hero' or captian that Curly is.

Jimmys a horrible fucking person (obviously i dont know why i have to state that ik he is) but this whole game is a look into his fucked up mind and to break it apart is to break him apart.

Anyway, thanks if you actually read this. If u have any thoughts, I'd like to know about them ^^. Also, poor Anya having to pay the price for these mens egos and issues.

Tldr. Jimmy wants to BE Curly, not inside him.

Fionna and cake.. Gosh.. it's shocking to be able to see new Adventure time content whilst being an adult. I grew up with the show- was INSPIRED by the show, it feels so.. surreal to appreciate this new content.

Not only that but gosh.. Simon- as a kid I could never fully comprehend him, But now I can actually understand exactly how tragic this man is and it hurts. Like I might even admit that Simon petrikov is one of my all time favourite characters just because of his story. He is so tragically broken that it actually hurts sometimes.

I adore him so much and I cannot wait to see more of this show
