For the last four years, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been growing a US-based staff to help them establish a legacy in charity and business under their own names. Ashley Hansen, the couple’s current head of communications, has worked with the couple for over two years, helping to steer the ship through major moments like the release of the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan and Harry’s blockbuster memoir, Spare. Now Hansen is branching out by starting her own communications firm called Three Gate Strategies, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be her first clients.

“We are so proud of Ashley, especially as a female entrepreneur,” the duchess told Vanity Fair in a statement on behalf of the couple. “We look forward to having her focused expertise on our business and creative projects and her continued oversight of our communications team. My husband and I are excited to be alongside Ashley as she builds something extraordinarily special with her firm.”

Though Hansen will be taking on more accounts as her company grows, she plans to continue her work with Meghan and Harry and their communications team across their Archewell Foundation, business endeavors, and media projects. Hansen will work with other high-profile clients in entertainment, tech, and finance, and will remain based in Los Angeles.

Three Gate draws its name from a proverb often attributed to Rumi, which posits that a person should let their words pass through “three gates” before speaking: “Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?”

Hansen said that Meghan helped her brainstorm a name for the company, and remembering their shared affection for the saying, the selection felt like a “lightbulb moment.” 🤦‍♀️🥴

The Rumi reference is also an homage to Hansen’s Persian heritage, as the poet lived in 13th century Greater Iran. In 2022, Hansen was present when Meghan gave a speech bringing attention to Iran’s Women, Life, Freedom movement, wearing a shirt with its name in Farsi.

Since relocating to the US in 2020, Meghan has been investing in women-owned businesses and she considers Hansen’s new venture part of her growing portfolio, which also includes accessories brand Cesta Collective, beverage brand Clevr, and more. Since April, the duchess has also been teasing the launch of her own lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, with sneak peaks at its future wares, including gift baskets with jars of strawberry jam. In addition to her work on Archewell’s charitable endeavors, Hansen will also work with the duchess on the business and her other creative projects.

Hansen told Vanity Fair her new venture will build on the work she has already done to support the couple.

I think a combination of protecting Harry and protecting himself is the reason King Charles is keeping information about the Sux kids hidden. Anyone paying attention could figure out there was something fishy going on from the very beginning. I say this with hindsight because I wasn't paying attention at the time.

We know Meghan refused to use BRF doctors, she isolated herself during the "pregnancy", the bump radically changing size/shape during engagements, the misinformation on the day of the "birth", the birth notice at BP which had no doctors signatures, how very controlling they were when the first press photo was taken, hiding/keeping Archie from the BRF and public, the contradictory or provably false claims they've made since. There's whole other shady stuff around Lili and that's just the tip of the iceberg, who knows what else was happening.

I just hope when the truth comes out the BRF members don't have to suffer the consequences, I'm thinking particularly of the women. It would be bad if royal women have to have a member of the government present when they give birth like it used to be. Would it be possible for you to do a follow up reading to ask if when the truth is revealed if it will have an effect on how things have to be done in the future?

As for Harry and Meghan I'm sure they'll cry victim when the kids are removed from the line of succession. Harry should be as well for interfering with the line of succession. I really hope the truth is revealed in the next 3 years, I want to be able to experience the schadenfreude!

That whole pregnancy was very fishy. The birth announcement was a huge giveaway. It wasn't a royal announcement at all, imo. In fact, the whole birth and presentation of the baby was not done in a royal manner, as you said.

I think having the baby in a hospital, with a birthing team in attendance to sign off on the birth, has taken the place of needing a government official to attend a royal home birth to ensure that the baby did come out of the mother and wasn't switched for another baby etc.

AFAIK, the legal punishment for interfering in the Line of Succession is to lose one's place in the Line of Succession. I am going to have to go on another hunt for where I read that so I have the source on hand if I need it.

Like a cavalry galloping to the rescue of their wounded leaders, former and current employees of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rushed into print this week to big up their bosses.

In the pages of Us Weekly, an influential American showbiz magazine popular with teens and teen-moms, print and online readers were breathlessly informed by Team Sussex that Prince Harry was a super-great guy, no airs and graces, just a regular dude, rah-rah-rah.

Meanwhile, what about girlboss Meghan? According to those who worked for her and lived to tell the tale, she was completely marvellous, too. No, really. Pass me that halo and let her duchessy love light shine.

For she was kind and thoughtful. She made great gourmet snacks. 'Some of my favourite memories,' said former Archewell president Mandana Dayani, who lasted 18 months until she left in 2022, 'were during our weekly meetings in her Montecito home, where Meghan always served the most incredible lunches and her latest beautiful concoctions.'

I am imagining exquisite delicacies such as 'vegetable soup' and 'green salad', ­possibly even a delightful 'egg‑based ­omelette' sourced from the in-house ­rescue chickens.

As the Sussex staff detailed the ­positives for posterity, it was hard to determine the true nature of their ­relationship with their bosses. Attorney-­client, doctor-patient, jailer-inmate, star-civilian, duchess-serf?

And was it my imagination or were the outpourings of these worker drones ­reminiscent of the rising hysteria of ­someone chained to a radiator in the basement of Archewell Towers, hoping to get home by Christmas?

According to their parti pris gibberish, Meghan was a Tinker Bell of titbits, a Mother Teresa of munificence; this gift-giving goddess who lavished staff with bow-tied presents and on-brand sharing and caring.

'When I adopted my dog, the next day I had a luxury-brand leash and new collar on my doorstep,' said one former staffer, who amusingly thought the gifts were for her pup.

'They want to take care of us,' one ­current employee told Us Weekly. 'Meghan will do things like: 'You mentioned on the call your skin is bothering you. I put together a kit for you.'

Is that being kind and helpful? Is that tending to the pimpled lame – or a tacit message to up their game?

For those of us who have spent a ­lifetime working in offices and assorted workplaces, alongside good bosses and bad, the thought of a superior sending you a tub of wrinkle cream or some self‑improving unguent, well, it just makes me want to die.

But listen, there is more. Meghan, said one staffer, is known for giving credit where it's due.

'If you're in a meeting and a great idea is referenced, she makes sure to give props [respect and appreciation] to the person who generated the idea,' they said. 'And after a big trip, every employee gets a personal email thanking them for their contribution in making it a success.'

An email! Oh, how lovely. Isn't this low-level respect the very least a valued member of staff deserves?

These fawning responses in Us Weekly came in riposte to a ­damning article in The Hollywood Reporter, which stated that the Duchess's 'terrible behaviour' was the root cause of the high ­turnover rate of staff at the couple's Archewell company.

The report in the entertainment industry bible earlier this month claimed that many of those who work and have worked for Meghan are 'terrified' of her. It included quotes from sources calling her a 'dictator in high heels' who ­'belittles' people and has reduced 'grown men to tears'.

I should point out here that Us Weekly is to the Sussexes what Pravda was to Stalin and what The Guardian is to Labour MP Jess Phillips – a blaring bugle of uncritical support. So, we heard in great detail about Archewell team visits to the couple's ­Montecito mansion, where Meghan gave everyone ­baskets of flowers, fruit and eggs to take home. So darling of her! She also passed on her ­children's hand-me downs. Is there no end to her generosity?

One employee even told Us Weekly that despite Meghan's reputation as a mini tyrant, they had 'never' heard her yell. Instead, the Duchess gave her staff 'clear direction and is ­solution-oriented' – which makes her sound like a rather lovely and amenable bottle of glue.

And when it came to hiring staff, another raving Archewell acolyte insisted that the Duke and ­Duchess of Sussex always 'picked the best of the best from every field and watered the seeds for them to flourish'.

But what are Harry and Meghan growing for posterity out there in California – an Archewell empire or a damp squib? Seeds, ­solutions, eggs . . . what the hell is going on?

Of course, these accusations are nothing new to royal-watchers in the UK. The Duchess of Sussex has long been dogged by reports she promotes a toxic workplace environment, along with repeated accusations of what her lawyers insist to this day we must call ­'difficult' behaviour. In 2021, reports that the former actress had allegedly bullied and reduced staff members to tears at Kensington Palace were dismissed by the Sussexes as a smear. Yet it is no secret that the couple have lost 18 employees to date in their short time as a ­company entity in both the UK and the US.

One new American-based source blames 'unbearable' and ­'condescending' Meghan for the alarming 'churn and burn' rate. These rumours just won't go away – but the big difference this time is that it is US news outlets that are making the claims.

Maer Roshan, co-editor-in-chief of The Hollywood Reporter, said he stands by the story after a backlash that included one ­Sussex source saying the claims were 'fabricated'.

Former and current employees of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rushed into print this week to big up their bosses.

'Duchess Difficult is a nickname that has trailed Meghan Markle for quite a few years. What is new is that this notion, since coming to America, that a lot of these rumours were manufactured by the Palace – the reporting that we did suggests that probably isn't true and there is still this ­undercurrent of fear.'

Many of you might remember Prince Harry, in his high, tight, aggrieved voice, telling the world in his various documentaries and interviews that: 'There is a ­hierarchy of the [Royal] Family. You know there is leaking, but there is also ­planting of stories.'

Even The Hollywood Reporter, a neutral observer, now raises an eyebrow at this. This is devastating for the couple whose reputation has survived so far by ­blaming their difficulties on the Royal Family and the British Press, instead of examining their own alleged bad behaviour.

Just a few issues ago in Us Weekly, the Duchess of Sussex was smoothing down the pleats on her kilt of no-guilt and telling everyone that she was opening 'a chapter of joy' in her life and that everything was hunky in her dory.

But now – yet again – the ­Sussexes are back at square one; expending time, energy, favours and friends in defending themselves against the indefensible.

We have been here before, we are back here again; swimming against this avalanche of bad press, slaloming though the ­snowdrifts of snark.

It makes me think, was this westward flight by the Sussexes – this bridge-burning journey into what they presumed would be a better, kinder world, patrolled by powerful friends such as Oprah and billionaire Tyler Perry – ­simply fuelled by a lust for praise and admiration that they felt was their due?

Yet no longer can Meghan and Harry present themselves to the world as a couple under siege, a pair of self-righteous smirkers who felt themselves to be the ­victims of racism and bullying.

The Hollywood Reporter has described them as 'poor decision-makers' who 'change their minds frequently', and added that Harry was a 'very charming ­person' but 'very much an ­enabler'. The poor fool.

Duchess Difficult and the ­Enabling Prince? It sounds like a ­terrible Harry Potter novel, only now there is no magic spell to make this fresh stink vanish into the Californian air.

Now in the Oprah interview, Meghan states something along the lines that there were MULTIPLE conversations held in regards to the color of Archie's skin tone. Making it seem that this happened while she was present and pregnant. Harry later joins in and states that this was a conversation held before he was even married to Meghan. So she was not present nor pregnant. This infuriated Meghan.

So in the lead up from 2017 to the time Harry & Meghan left the BRF, the amount of time Harry was around Kate was pretty minimal. He even admitted it himself.

We also know that once Meghan moved into Nott Cott that she really made sure Harry was never alone with his family without her.

So IF there was a conversation with Kate...it most likely happened before Harry was even engaged to Meghan. Perhaps when they were dating and Harry was speaking with Kate about being a potential father and the conversation of who she thought her kids looked like and if he had kids with Meghan who their potential kids would look like.

Something that was in all innocence is the only scenario I can see happening. Meghan is the one who twisted it into something nasty.

The thing is...they have nothing but the word of Meghan and Harry to incriminate Kate. They have no other witnesses and no substance to the situation as to why this conversation came up. So it is really he said/she said at this point. If there was actually something to incriminate Kate, you can guarantee they would use it...just like they used a one sided text exchange in Harry's book to make Kate look like a bully. You can't incriminate someone without any proof. It's all hearsay.

I am at the point where I’m wondering if William is having a mental crisis of some sort. Even if he’s not doing the ribbon cutting (that apparently he despises), there could be daily updates from KP. William, The Prince of Wales, met with blahblahblah this afternoon to discuss blahblahblah, etc., etc. As it is, there is almost radio silence. You know what? William should be doing DOUBLE the workload to make up for Catherine’s absence. Apparently, that never occurred to him. What IS the man doing with his time? The kids are in school. His wife is under the care of the most competent doctors in the UK. I will remind the Wales fandom that although the Queen was mum about her medical condition–even as it was obvious that she was battling something that was obviously fatal–she continued to WORK. She quietly shuffled off a bunch of duties to her son, the current King, but she was still visually present. I think there has been a serious breach between Charles and William, along the lines of Charles and Harry. Maybe it’s because of Harry. But not actively supporting his father during the King’s medical journey is unacceptable. (As far as I can tell, he’s made ONE comment, and that was on February 8, and it was also a twofer, mentioning his wife first). While the King is undergoing “real” chemo, the Queen and other family members picked up the slack. William did not assume his father’s duties that we can see. I find it *shameful* that William has just enough bandwidth to make rare comments about his wife but is essentially absent in supporting his father’s cancer journey as well. In fact, we can’t see much of what he IS doing.

Also, I find this chatter about Adelaide Cottage rather interesting, because I think the original move was a PR push to pad the fiction that they are just like you and me, except they are royal. Now we hear that they are, um, renovating an annex because, hello, it’s too small. No shit. I guess the push to shove Andy out of the Lodge failed, and how they are stuck with Adelaide for the near future. One look at Amner Hall will immediately dispel the fiction that they don’t have a battery of help to manage their lives. They ARE royalty. William isn’t out in Norfolk mowing the grass and clipping the hedges on Saturday mornings. This place has TEN bedrooms. Are we honestly supposed to believe that they are roaming around in this enormous mansion by their lonesome, dusting, cooking, and sweeping? I don’t think so. Do I think that Catherine is responsible and probably makes the kids make their own beds every day? Yes, I do. Do I think she’s making three meals a day? No, I don’t. If I remember correctly, Anmer Hall has two kitchens. Does Catherine muck about with the kids in the kitchen making brownies on Saturday afternoons? Sure. Is she putting forth meals every night? Not bloody likely. Again, they have a battery of staff at their disposal no matter if some fans think that Wills is washing up every night after Catherine throws together some mac and cheese at the last minute. Someone who can spend over $72,000 on clothes and accessories for ONE YEAR is not putting dinner on the table every night. Get real, people!

It would improve William’s image if he did events WITH his father. And, yes, I know the polls are showing that William and Catherine have the highest approval rating. Let’s look at those stats in a year. It didn’t take very long for the Harkles to plunge to the bottom. I don’t think that Catherine will ever hit any true lows because there is a genuine quality about her that is transcendent. She truly connects with the public, and the camera doesn’t lie (take notes, Meghan). But William seems to be using ANY excuse not to do his job (and I am serious about this; it is his *job* to be The Prince of Wales) that will, over time, deplete all that goodwill generated by Catherine’s illness. I think he’s using Catherine’s illness to shun his duties. Or not. We don’t know! I for one am not swayed by the story that William can’t do anything because of Catherine’s medical regimen. If it’s THAT serious, then it’s full-blown Stage 4 cancer. If it’s not, then what in the hell is the man doing with his time?

Out of sight, out of mind. Royalty is a visual exercise, otherwise the rabble starts to yell louder. Why are they living in these castles and spending 100,000 pounds on clothes and taking ten vacations a year and we never see them? The concept of the divine right of kings doesn’t work except in the minds of people like Andrew and Harry. It’s privilege on steroids. The one thing that the Wales fandom consistently ignores is that Charles has a tremendous sense of duty. He understands or believes that this is a gift from God. His mother believed the same. Perhaps you have to be religious–which both the King and his mother are/were–to have that sense of God’s gift and it’s accompaning responsibilities. I don’t know if William is religious, but if Charles can get his ass out there looking like shit (AS DID THE QUEEN!), then why in the hell can’t William and, yes, Catherine do the same? Unless we are being lied to about Catherine’s condition.

I continue to question this situation because it remains, IMO, murky and disingenuous. And I think all these journalists who questioned the information coming out of KP were entirely correct. It was a clusterfuck of a PR nightmare. Should they have spread those vile rumors? Of course not. But William and the KP media team are entirely to blame for the CONTINUED smoke screen shadowing William and Catherine, except now journalists feel guilty because they were shamed by her video appearance. I’m not shamed. I continue to have serious questions about what in the hell is going on with these two even as I wish Catherine and her children the best.

Oh, I’m definitely publishing this because these are some of the same thoughts I have had since the beginning of this year.

To me, the biggest clue that Kate isn’t as sick with CANCER! as Kensington Palace and everyone else believes is the honor she was awarded yesterday–Companion of Honour.

William only got Grand Master of the Order of Bath because he HAS to be given it as heir to the throne. Believe me, if Charles could give William the same honor he awarded Kate yesterday, he would. Without question. A thousand times over. 

Because if Kate was even remotely close to dying or seriously suffering with Stage 4 cancer, they would have given her The Garter because it would be befitting on death for her position and popularity. The fact that they didn’t is clue number one. Clue number two is that Charles clearly has no intention of giving her The Order of St. John, which she could easily be given three or four years from now after a few more public engagements with cancer charities & etc. Maybe she still will but I highly doubt it. Because honors like this aren’t given out every year or even every other year. She’s clearly not going to get anything else for a minimum of five years. 

And I side-eye the entire Wales/Cambridge fandom for whining about Sophie very likely getting The Garter long before Kate will. Ed & Sophie have been doing Will & Kate’s job for more than ten years. Ed & Sophie have been attending the foreign weddings and engagements that Will & Kate should have been attending a long time ago, as their preparation for being on the throne. Of course Sophie is going to get The Garter before Kate. Sophie has been and still is doing Kate’s job for her! Of course Sophie deserves to get The Garter before Kate.  

But, yes, this entire situation is very suspicious. The timelines of events don’t match up to the story KP & Will & Kate have been spinning from the very beginning. That mysterious hospital convoy from 28 December…well, we still have no clarity on that. We might not get any real details on that until a few years down the road, I guess.

I have a secret.  

Nobody else knows.

I’ve known for a few days and I’m busting to tell someone but I have to tell Bucky first.  The problem is that he’s away on a mission for the next couple of weeks.  So I have to keep this secret until he gets back, because it’s the type of secret that you should tell someone face to face, not on the phone or by text.

I guess given you’re just a journal I can tell you the secret.  I’m pregnant.  Bucky and I haven’t really talked about kids, I mean the subject has come up but we always get interrupted.

I need to figure out a good way to tell him.  Something cute that will make him cry when he realises he’s going to be a Dad.

I’m going to do some google research and see what I can come up with.  It sucks that I can’t tell anyone else, or maybe I can.  Just one person.  Maybe just one?

I caved.  I couldn’t help myself.  I’m so excited that I had to.  I told my best friend Darcy.  I couldn’t really tell any of the Avengers, I didn’t want any of them to spill the beans before I could.

We worked out I can get a couple of winter soldier onesies, and I’m going to put them and the positive pregnancy test in a box and he can open it.  With a sign inside saying  “You might say you’re dad’s a superhero but mine actually is”

I have just over a week to get the little suit in and make the sign.  Then I just have to work out when to give it to him.  It will depend on what time he gets back from the mission.  If it’s late, I might wait until breakfast the next mornings. 

Right, on to the plan.

The present for Bucky is all set to go.  It looks amazing, Darcy was such a great help to me in putting it all together.

I’m about 7.5 weeks along now and the morning sickness is starting to kick my butt.  I am trying to keep it quiet so nobody in the team who is here suspects anything.  

Yesterday Tony was walking past my suite and heard me throwing up and knocked on the door to make sure I was ok.  I was able to pass it off as just a bit of food poisoning or gastro and thankfully because he hadn’t heard any other vomiting, he bought it.  Of course, he’ll understand once Bucky and I let everyone know about our little bundle that’s on the way.

It’s almost dinner time and I know I’ve already written my journal entry for today but I just heard from Bucky and he should be home tomorrow morning.  Valentine’s Day!  What a great day to tell him about my surprise.

I told him I’d organise something for dinner, he said after this long mission he really just wanted to relax and spend time together so we are going to order a food delivery and just veg on the sofa in front of the tv.

Bucky is home!  He’s currently having a nap, but he said he wants to spend the whole day together.  I can’t wait for tonight, I’m going to give him the box between dinner and the movie.

So excited.

Later that afternoon after Bucky wakes up from his sleep, he and Meghan take a shower together and things get steamy not just from the hot water.

Afterwards they lay in bed together, just snuggling and talking.  Bucky tells her about the mission, the things that went wrong and that they ultimately successfully completed the mission.  He has to do a de-brief but because Sam was injured, they are putting it off until tomorrow.

The box with the “present” in it is sitting underneath the side table next to the sofa.  The buyer sounds and Bucky goes down to get the food.  While he’s gone, Meghan grabs the box and puts it on the coffee table.

Bucky returns with the food and sets the bags on the coffee table.

“Hey sweets, what’s in the box?” He asked.

“Just a little gift I got you”

“Sure, you know you didn’t need to get me anything but I’m super curious as to what’s in it.”

“Well, you can open it after dinner, so eat up.”

They eat dinner and Bucky notices she’s just picking at her food.  “You ok sweets? You’re not eating much?”

“Yeah I’m good, just a bit nervous I guess about whether you’ll like the gift.”

“Aww, Meggy, I’m sure I’ll love it. In fact, I’m done now, let’s clear away the food and then I can open it and put your nerves to rest.”

They cleared away the dishes, put the leftover food in containers in their fridge and went back to sit on the sofa.

Meghan picks up the box and hands it to him.  He unwraps the gift and looks at her as he opens the box.

The first thing he sees is the sign that says “Every superhero needs a side kick”. He looks at her quizzically wondering if she got him a cat like they had talked about.  He digs a bit further and feels some material.  He pulls it out and sees these 2 onesies and his face freezes.  Onesies are usually for babies, not for cats or dogs.

She looks at him hopefully and says “Keep going, there’s one more thing in there”. 

In his mind he’s thinking “I hope it’s a I’m joking it’s just a cat note or something similar.”  He feels the hard plastic and hauls out a stick that says “Pregnant” on it.

He drops everything, stands up and puts his hand over his mouth.  He’s facing away from her because this is the woman he loves and is she telling him she’s pregnant?

“Buck, are you ok? Do you understand the gift?”

“Uhhh yeah, I understand, I think.  Are you.. Are you pregnant?”

“Yes, about 8 weeks, aren’t you excited?”

He looks at her and his heart is breaking.  She can see it on his face and her face falls.  “I know we’ve not really talked about babies but I.. I thought you might be a little excited.”

“How could this make me excited.  I just don’t get why you would tell me this, like this, and expect me to jump for joy.”

“Bucky, I.. I don’t understand. I know it’s a shock, I was shocked too.  But I’m excited about this, even if you apparently aren’t.”

“I need some air” he said, grabbing his jacket he stormed out of the room slamming the door.

I don’t know what went wrong.  Bucky opened his gift and instead of celebrating I’m writing in my journal and I have no idea where he is.

He got really angry and just stormed out.  I know it was a shock and I have had time to get used to the idea but even when I first found out, I never reacted like that.

I hope we can work this out, but I do know, that this baby is loved even if it’s Dad is being a butthole about it.

Harry and meghan Ep1

Notes:

1. From the outset we are told this is a first hand account, using footage from their own archives. And members of BRF have declined to comment.

2. For some ridiculous reason, first scene is at an airport arrivals lounge. Private jet Harry's documentary starts with scenes from a commercial airport. Lol. Appary he has just landed at London in March 2020. Probably traumatic because this was the first time they had to take commercial lol

3. It's quite evident that this started as a video diary (Meghan's idea?) around March 2020. Way before they finalized the netft deal. So ...this is how they pitched to platforms? This is the behind the scenes look? Scheming bastards.

4. They are addressing all the little criticism - private jets. How little she knew of Harry. Media scrutiny. Archie. How she gave up everything to marry him and then he voluntarigave up his life to join her world.

5. There is a LOT of footage of the kids. Basicat it's their iPhone gallery made into a movie with piano music.

6. She and her friends really overexplai. That she was single "SINGLE" for a couple of months in summer 2016. And travelly the world with her girlfriends. And that those trips were planned to enjoy the world. Girl doth protest a bit too much.

7. Oh btw they met on Instagram. Lol new twist. And she got to know his through his ig feed. Lol. He is photographer ok guys. And he asked to meet her. So not a blind date.

8. They also show their private chats. URghhhh!

9. Harry is such a doofus. All he wanted was to get married and that's a bit creepy ok. It comes across as if he would have married anyone.

11. Meghan didn't know him guys, at all. Did not know anyone. But told all her friends. Hahaha... And they are all here telling us she didn't know. Hahaha... And well... it would all be cute but it's them. So Diana is mentioned a few times. We get to know about their first meeting. And then it cuts to commentary from the day Harry was born, and how special Diana was and how everyone loved baby Harry. Sneaky!

12. We see a lot of footage of innocent diana talking about Harry and Harry doing cute stuff. Just in case we forget. Harry says he doesn't have early memories of his mom. But, dear viewers, we do, right? So that's more important. We all loved Diana.

13. Everybody who has ever spoken/written anything favorable about the couple is in this series. Noone who could present the other side. It seems a bit glaring.

14. So much royal footage. So much of the queen. If she was alive she definitely would have been offended at this. I'm sure. This is disrespectful. Because it makes it seem like "Meghan against the institution". Instead of Harry and Meghan the lovestruck couple.

This is the undertone that I think Meghan may have wanted to distance herself from.

15. When Harry talks about his childhood it does make a but of sense, esp with the skiing footage and Eug and Bea look overwhelmed.

16. He says what she shared in panorama was her experience and truth. Even if it was obtained in the wrong way.

17. Harry is such a simp. Meghan tries to be, but personally she seems like she is overacting even in their old home videos and facetimes. How is that possible?? And Harry says she is so simar to his mum. ewww... the mommy issues!

18. Lol there really are Diana's pictures on the wall in a tiara in the nursery. Didn't Harry hace any private pictures of her he can show his children because this was literally from a magazine photoshoot. WTH!

19. When he talks about his mum's death, they show a photo of the two brothers. With William looking at Harry, and Harry staring into space. That's heartbreak. Truly. The only time I wished the brothers were still close. What would Will think if he sees this??

20. This episode does a good job at presenting Harry's childhood issues. And his fears. He seems self aware. And you empathise with him up to that point. But then I wonder, with all of this, how could Meghan make this whole thing about herself?? His problems are real and massive and he had so much support. And she and him, they make this all about her not being able to adjust and how unfair it was for her to leave everything behind (for all of 1.5 yrs lol).

21. I think, this maybe one of the reasons that Meghan hasn't liked this series. We get to know the Harry that we liked and loved and thought we knew. It makes her feel.like a nobody. And he overcompensates ofr that constay. But the showrunners, director, Netflix won't overcompensate. They tell us who us the more valuable one.

22. Harry is White Knight-ing in Africa. You know, the wayward, heartbroken lad who just wants some warmth and acceptance... It's a bit much, this narrative. esp in these times. This impression of Africa the land of authenticity and finding yourself, even if true, is something we should all avoid now.

23. Harry's issues are so obviously here, I believe if Meghan hadn't come along he might have stayed on the straight and narrow. She didn't value and respect his heritage. And he mirrored her to be able to keep her. (My opinion from this episode)

24. Whenever Lindsay Roth speaks, I feel like she is auditioning for the best friend's role in a Hallmark movie. Whenever nacho comes on screen I want to scream, he is a skeez.

25. They show Harry's tiny makesft tent. To quell the glamping rumours.

26. Abigail Spencer and her bad extensions. Uffff!

27. There's some friend of hers called silver tree. Lol what? Who is this woman? I bet she is a stand in for Gina Nelthorp Cowne. Poor Gina, was ghosted but would have loved to do these interviews.

28. They are saying that initially it was much easier for her to come to London and stay at KP with him. And then they would drive to Windsor and walk around frogmore and have all this space and privacy without anyone ever noticing. So much privacy in london. Hmm.... The exact life they left behind. Weird (not!)

29. It's all bad media, intrusive media.

30. Pictures of the Halloween party, the night before the news of the relationship broke. Eugene's costume, yikes! Also, did they take permission from her to use these photos because she is a literal princess. The palace would and should protect her. (IMO)

31. Harry says, after the news broke, he didn't know what he was walking into. Lol poor dude never thought Meghan would be thriving on getting papped every where. She really did milk this opportunity and was probably acting all innocent in front of him. Because his concern seems genuine, her shock less so.

32. Some of the news headlines, articles, voiceovers they show here are not from this period. They are from.much later, before the wedding. Not from 2016 i remember back then everyone loved her. And she got a lot of positive press, esp in the UK.

Crying In Job Interviews Anon again!

Lolll I think your brain chose as good a time as any to decide to cry in that situation so you could play it off as a love of helping people SO MUCH!!!! 😭 Presentations are so intimidating too. Super impressive you got interviewed for a position like that imo, and I have no doubt you could've done the job! And trust you to get a little bit of royal gossip while you were there too, even if it was only relevant in hindsight 😂

Probably the worst time I cried was when I got to the final stage of applying for a graduate scheme for a big regulatory organisation (I'm in the UK too). I'd been through I think three or four stages before getting to the last bit, an all day thing split into three parts. Of course I got stuck with the proper interview in the first rotation, and totally fucked it. At that point I thought it was my dream job, and I guess I still do idk. I had to travel super far to London and stay over and everything, so having the interview first thing was my worst case scenario and the pressure overwhelmed me, as it always does. And I cried. And accidentally insulted one of the interviewers I think? It went so badly I knew there was no point in me doing the other two exercises throughout the rest of the day, but I couldn't just *leave*. I was mortified for HOURS, knowing I had no chance no matter how well I did in the group/knowledge stuff.

I wish I could say there's a happy ending, but several years later I'm stuck in a crap office job with no direction 🙃

Sorry it took a while to get to this! I was incredibly lucky that my eyes decided to fail and let the tears go at the moment they asked me a personal question so I could sort of style it out but I didn't get the job lol. Oh and yes, I took a picture of the reception of the Royal Foundation just in case (it had a Union Jack chair - so on brand - and a copy of Meghan's cookbook).

I totally relate to what you've said. I think there's two things that we both had: some other kind of stress so we were already going into the meeting on edge, and the feeling of being trapped. To be fair, it worked in my favour because I would have left the interview for my current job as I thought I'd bombed it, and then it turned out I got offered it without any more interviews hahaha. So sometimes we're completely off the mark about how we've done. I think the older I've gotten the more I've realised it's a job. It used to be a huge part of my identity but as long as I can pay my bills and it's not somewhere where they treat me terribly, then I could do a lot worse! Not that that's very comforting, I'm sure haha.

A theory about Harry thinking he can be co-king -

I think it's also because fundamentally Harry is pathologically codependent. Even a child he didn't have interests of his own. He just liked to be led into whatever by whoever - his nanny, his RPO, his mother, his brother. They organized activities for him that they thought would be fun for a kid and he did those. That was his life.

Even books written by people about Diana or Charles early days (I am basicay basing this on Wendy Berry's Housekeepers Diary and the book by Ken Wharf) say that Harry wasn't exactly an independent kid, he just did stuff that others did.

He liked polo and horses because that was his father's passion, so it was something they both did over. Army/military/uniforms was Williams obsession as a kid so it became Harry's. Then at school it was Rugby because that's what the rowdy boys did. It was never cricket or swimming or tennis or running etc. He just goes with whatever option is out forward for him.

His army career was presented to him. He didn't even think of doing something after school. Didn't think of college either. But did take a gap year like William and went to Africa just like William. Joined the military because William was already in it, so might as well just do that. All his interests were what William was already doing.

His patronages were all arranged around that for his by someone else, and his has still not ventured out of that curated bubble after all these years. Still doesn't, even though he now needs more money and a more versatile profile.

Harry cannot think for himself. Never did as child. So his parents or caretakers didn't have to do much for him other than hold his hand and let him tag along.

All the times he was expected to or even encouraged, as a child to develpy an independent personality, he just say in a corner a smoked up or attended parties. When it came to disciplining him, it was just easier to tell him to go do whatever William was doing, because how else would you get a petulant boy to do anything if he doesn't want to?

Now Harry is rudderless but his conditioniing tells him his purpose is whatever Williams purpose is. Not necessarily because he thinks they are equal, but because Harry always followed Williams lead.

Meghan just came along, saw all that, and told him he could do it so much better. It's not like she can get him to do anything else. He doesn't know how, and will never. William is his North Star.

The only definition of work in Harry's mind is whatever William is doing.

I do think Harry has some serious co-dependency issues, but I’m not sure it’s pathological to this extent, nor is it with William nowadays.

I disagree that Harry was pushed into all of this because William was. Harry was pushed into all of this because that’s the royal family lifestyle. All the princes serve in the military (or they try to, in Edward’s case) and all the princes play sport (Charles and his family played polo; Andrew golfs; Edward plays tennis).

And the issue there is that Harry was competitive with William. He wanted either the same that William got or better than William got. We can argue till the cows come home whether that was nature vs nurture, but the key thing here is that it’s something Diana was fully aware of and concerned by:

Diana was concerned everyone was going to think he was 'thick' as he didn't have any thirst for knowledge and was not interested in sitting down with a book. He always felt the need to compete in everything, especially with his brother.

So is it co-dependency? Not in this case. Yes, Harry has issues with co-dependency, but to the person he’s with and we know that because his personality, his style, and his interests change based on who he’s spending time with. Harry hasn’t been “with” William since about 2015-ish when the then-Cambridges moved to Norfolk and Harry stayed in London.

William is the North Star but not because Harry is rudderless, but because Harry is competitive and doesn’t want to be second-best. After all, this is a kid who used to demand his mother call him her only baby. That’s not co-dependency. It’s a one-sided competition that William isn’t even playing in — just like Meghan has an identical one-sided competition with Kate.

TL;DR One of my cats got sick and racked up a lot in vet bills. I'm on disability, meaning I barely have enough money to survive as it is. Because of this, I have had to start a gofundme. Here is the journey Chloe and I have been on since October...

My name is Meghan and I'm raising funds to help pay for vet bills. One of my cats, Chloe, was recently sick and racked up a lot of bills. This all began on October 22, when I had to take Chloe to the emergency vet. She wasn't acting like herself and just wanted to hide under the bed. She had a fever and elevated white blood cells, indicating an infection. The doctor scared me by mentioning the possibility of leukemia or lymphoma because her lymphocyte count was higher than it should have been. He sent off a blood smear to a pathologist to check the count manually. He also gave me an antibiotic for Chloe to take twice a day, which she tolerated very well. I then spent the next few agonizing days waiting for a phone call with the blood smear results. Thankfully the blood smear was normal in regards to the lymphocyte count.

At the emergency vet

The following week I scheduled a checkup with the regular vet, just to make sure everything was ok once completing the course of antibiotics. She was acting a little better at this point, but wasn't back to herself. The regular vet discovered that she still had a fever, and repeat blood work showed a still increased white blood cell count. Whatever she had, the antibiotics didn't touch it. She was also tested for FIV and FeLV at this point. I was given an immune support supplement to give to Chloe to help her fight whatever bug she had. A few days later the results for FIV and FeLV came back negative, and the doctor recommended more extensive bloodwork. I took Chloe back in for another blood draw, and it was sent to a special lab in North Carolina. A week later these tests all came back negative.

Still not feeling good, wanting mommy snuggles

I continued monitoring her temperature and weight. After November 9th she no longer had a fever. The regular vet had also recommended that I give Chloe and Oscar an additional can of food in the evening (in addition to the morning can and the dry food that is always out). Chloe even gained a little weight, which was good. By mid-November Chloe was up to 6.5 pounds and was starting to act more like herself. She had even started playing with her brother again, just a little bit.

Starting to feel better, and a checkup

Chloe had another checkup on November 14. She was up to 7.1 pounds, and the bloodwork they did that day came back completely normal. The vet was very pleased that Chloe was acting like herself again, that she presented healthy, and that her bloodwork was normal. She said that Chloe must have just had a virus and was able to fight it herself. Chloe is totally back to acting like herself again, talking and playing and getting zoomies, everything. Chloe and Oscar go back on the 22nd for their vaccines.

Hi CC, I hope you are faring well in the heat these days. It must be challenging.

I have questions about MM' pregnancies. If the children weren't birthed by MM, is it possible that she will champion the rights of women who have fertility issues - saying IVF, surrogacy, and even donated sperm/eggs (which I don't believe they used), is the norm. I read years back that Sophie was considering IVF for her second pregnancy.

Another possibility is that Archie was conceived before the wedding. Again she may argue that having children with a partner who isn't a spouse is common these days.

I'm also curious why they got engaged when they did. Was there a rush that was real or pretend? (Eg pregnancy that was faked or really did not go to term.) There has been speculation.

Even though both children look like their parents, something seems off. There's smoke and somewhere there is a fire that has legal ramifications for the BRF. Ultimately she presented as pregnant both times. So if she wasn't, the duplicity would be next level!

It was and is challenging, but we have some cooler weather for Xmas, which is nice (it heats up again after the 26th, I think).

Meghan may try to do something with fertility issues to get herself out of the hole she is in, but that will do nothing for the main issue. If the children were not born of her body then they have no place in the Line of Succession, as they were not pushed into the world by the legal spouse of Prince Harry. It is harsh but the law is clear - if the legal wife of a royal does not carry you and push you out into the world (or have a caesarean), then you are not born 'of their body' and therefore you have no place in the line of succession. Making a fuss about fertility issues some 4? 5? years after the event will not make your deception any less of a deception, and it will not do away with the legal consequences of your actions.

The wedding was on 19 May 2018, Archie was supposedly born 6 May 2019. That is about a year between the wedding and the birth. If Meghan was pregnant when she married Harry, Archie would have been born at the most 8-9 months after the wedding, so say Feb 2019. There is no reason why the couple could not have announced a 'honeymoon baby' and then announce the actual birth if that was the case. In February Meghan was still going everywhere clutching her huge bump, so no early birth for her.

I have read on the reason for the rushed wedding. From memory, there were indications in the cards that Meghan faked a pregnancy to get the knot tied quickly. I can read on that again. The other theory that I incline towards is that they were already married in some sort of ceremony somewhere, although in that case I am not sure why they were given the highly inappropriate big white wedding.

I believe that Meghan wasn't pregnant both times. Her physical changes did not match the natural changes of pregnancy, and we actually had some obstetricians and their relatives writing in at the time saying the pregnancy was a badly done fake (I know, take all tea with a truckful of salt etc). What convinced me was the unnatural changes in her baby bump, like the ones below. No one inflates/deflates like that over an hour, or even a day. I also believe she has no morals or conscience that would prevent her from faking a pregnancy and then pretending to give borth. Other people may think differently, of course.

If it’s true that will make what the post says canon which at least will make the scene have sense

Oh yeah no that is correct, I’ve talked about that before! At this point in time, it is pretty confirmed in-universe that’s what was going on, which recontextualizes lots of things.

Though personally in the tags I made on that post (i’m not sure exactly what OP’s intent/awareness of the present day stuff is) I was more… approaching it from a Doylist ‘grabbing Geoff Johns by the shoulders and shaking him around asking what the fuck was going on in his brain as he wrote Teen Titans Vol. 3 & Adventure Comics (2009) if he genuinely considered Tim as straight’ POV rather than a Watsonian ‘in-universe (due to a comic published well over a decade later by a different writer), the situation has been confirmed as what we all thought’ one.

Like, Meghan Fitzmartin during Young Justice: Dark Crisis obviously didn’t pull that situation/idea out of nowhere—she was working off of subtext in Geoff Johns’ work that many of us have been pointing out for a very long time.

But sometimes it’s fascinating/worthwhile to sit there and look at just the pieces of a situation that were written by the same author/in the same actual timeframe to discuss and think about how things were initially written.

13. Everybody who has ever spoken/written anything favorable about the couple is in this series. Noone who could present the other side. It seems a bit glaring.

14. So much royal footage. So much of the queen. If she was alive she definitely would have been offended at this. I'm sure. This is disrespectful. Because it makes it seem like "Meghan against the institution". Instead of Harry and Meghan the lovestruck couple.

This is the undertone that I think Meghan may have wanted to distance herself from.

15. When Harry talks about his childhood it does make a but of sense, esp with the skiing footage and Eug and Bea look overwhelmed.

20. This episode does a good job at presenting Harry's childhood issues. And his fears. He seems self aware. And you empathise with him up to that point. But then I wonder, with all of this, how could Meghan make this whole thing about herself?? His problems are real and massive and he had so much support. And she and him, they make this all about her not being able to adjust and how unfair it was for her to leave everything behind (for all of 1.5 yrs lol).

21. I think, this maybe one of the reasons that Meghan hasn't liked this series. We get to know the Harry that we liked and loved and thought we knew. It makes her feel.like a nobody. And he overcompensates ofr that constay. But the showrunners, director, Netflix won't overcompensate. They tell us who us the more valuable one.

22. Harry is White Knight-ing in Africa. You know, the wayward, heartbroken lad who just wants some warmth and acceptance... It's a bit much, this narrative. esp in these times. This impression of Africa the land of authenticity and finding yourself, even if true, is something we should all avoid now.

24. Whenever Lindsay Roth speaks, I feel like she is auditioning for the best friend's role in a Hallmark movie. Whenever nacho comes on screen I want to scream, he is a skeez.

27. There's some friend of hers called silver tree. Lol what? Who is this woman? I bet she is a stand in for Gina Nelthorp Cowne. Poor Gina, was ghosted but would have loved to do these interviews.

28. They are saying that initially it was much easier for her to come to London and stay at KP with him. And then they would drive to Windsor and walk around frogmore and have all this space and privacy without anyone ever noticing. So much privacy in london. Hmm.... The exact life they left behind. thank you for this! honestly, I woke up at 4 am this morning thanks to my toddlers and scrolled dm with dread anticipating how much more crap the RF has to put up with. But there’s actually very little beyond the workings of a totally deranged narc who took iPhone videos of everything over the past 6 years. (Who the f does that? This isn’t normal.)

My jaw dropped reading Oprah and the reactions on my IG feed. It’s not like that now, at all.
