Saw something about Hua Cheng always being able to sense his ashes so he can always sense Xie Lian and I just think it adds a hilarious take to him giving Xie Lian his ashes. Like yes it’s a beautiful and romantic ghostly tradition but there is something so funny about him given them to him the moment he has to leave so he doesn’t lose him again after 800 years of searching like someone tagging a bird to track their migration habits. He is not taking no fucking chances.

I swear Ace is such a softie for Yuu.

Imagine Yuu gets lost in new cities so often that, when they go with Vil to that event where they go shopping (I forgot the name), Ace holds Yuu hand/blazer so they don’t get lost.

And it happens so often they don’t even bat an eye, they just let Ace guide them. It’s so cute.

Azul and Jamil are judging with their bombastic side eyes tho.

BRO the Taipas Rogue event has such a slice of life shojou set up for all of the guys but especially aceyuu.

Jamil knows Ace is into Yuu because he sees how they interact, dating would be less complicated than whatever it is they have going on. It would make basketball practice that much more bearable for everyone involved if Ace just admitted he was Yuu's boyfriend. Hell Jamil probably thought they were actually dating and just keeping things secret from Riddle until he said something to that effect and got "corrected." I could see Jamil being somewhat sympathetic? assuming he takes the second to think about it. Being vulnerable sucks and if Ace really was dating Yuu that could bring the both of them a bunch of unwanted attention. What he doesn't get is the lying to yourself bit... not even he does that.

Azul has suspicions about Ace's feelings from his little time blackmailing having him under contract, and he did keep note of it. Love presents an excellent opportunity to the consultant, but in order for there to be an opportunity the person sort of needs to admit it? There's not much Azul can do to take advantage of Ace or Yuu when they're already so close they might as well be dating all the while lying to themselves and others. It's so beyond his understanding at this point... I could see him observing them as a sort of experiment.

The two of them might find it pathetic but I could see Vil being completely fine with it. There's nothing wrong with taking things slow and enjoying the way your relationship is for now. Good things come to those who wait, and Vil is angling for a seat at the wedding party table lol

The fact that Xie Lian is often unable to hide his pain from Hua Cheng, like when there's a needle stuck in his foot, is to me what shows most how deep their love for each other goes.

Xie Lian feels so safe with Hua Cheng, so understood, respected and loved, that even his body fully knows it and is unable to hide anything from Hua Cheng because it doesn't feel the need to.

3x06 breaks my heart for a million obvious reasons but I think one of the many reasons it hurts that isn’t talked about that much is how innocent the whole thing starts out.

So much of their lives forced them to grow up way before they should’ve. Ian was being groomed by predatory men since he was 14 and Mickey was abused his whole life. That and a million other things forced them into adulthood so much quicker than they deserved.

But then they get this night.

Then they’re together and even amongst the chaos and the awful shit in their lives, they get this little glimpse of a normal teenage relationship. Everything about it sounds so typical. Mickey’s parents are away for the night so he asks the guy he’s seeing over. Ian is so excited because he gets to sneak out of the house to actually spend the night with his maybe boyfriend that can be so distant and hard to read but has now actually invited him over to spend the night (and kissed him!!)- that has to mean something right?

They stick on a movie and sit together on the couch sneaking glances at each other wondering when the other is going to make a move. They’re both so nervous but so excited but trying to play it cool to the other. They laugh and joke together and spend time together before they have sex in an actual bed for the first time and actually spend a whole night together. Mickey made Ian food and they got to wake up together and eat breakfast together.

Up until a point, the entire situation is just so typical. They got to be normal teenagers on the cusp of their first real relationship for one night.

Then the next morning all of it was taken away and their entire lives changed forever.

Okay, bear with me for a moment here.

So we know He Xuan was supposed to be the one to ascend before Shi Wudu stole his fate and made Shi Qingxuan become the Windmaster to save him.

So He Xuan would've originally become the god instead, by that logic. And He Xuan knew what happened, he knew he was supposed to be the one to ascend etc - hence his entire vendetta against the brothers.

But then his ghost name now is Black Water Sinking Ships. So essentially, he turned the water element into something sinister and evil.

Who is the Water Master? Shi Wudu.

So why is it not something to do with wind if he knew that was the god who got the place originally intended for him? Because he actually doesn't resent Shi Qingxuan and doesn't blame him in the slightest for what happened. He took water here for a reason...
