LADs Men And How They React to You Falling Asleep
A/N: Just a little ramble of what I think the men would do. Includes them all.
Please enjoy and feel free to send prompts to my inbox. ^^
~
Sylus:
You had been up late the past couple nights filling out a bunch of paperwork you needed to catch up on for work. You were exhausted. One minute, the pen was in your hand, and the next you were laying face down on the desk snoozing.
After three nights, Sylus finally returns to your shared apartment. Upon entering, he knew you must be asleep. Usually, the apartment is filled with noise from the TV or music from the radio. Right now, though, it was complete silence.
First, he enters the bedroom, figuring that's the obvious place you'd be. When seeing that you're not in bed, Sylus' heart stutters for a second. It's unusual. You're okay, right?
Before the panic could set in, the more logical part of his brain takes over. Let me check around the house first. Eventually, Sylus makes it to the office where you're fast asleep. His heart returns to normal.
Walking up to you, he takes in the calmness of your face, the absolute beauty of it. Adoration fills his eyes.
"Darling." he says, lightly stroking your hair. You stir but don't wake. A small, loving smile takes over Sylus' lips.
Without another word, he lifts you and carries you to bed.
~
Zayne:
You always try to stay up to greet Zayne when he comes home from work. The problem is that he typically works really late. You were cuddled up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket while watching a random show on TV when you fell asleep.
You didn’t hear the door open and shut, or the shuffle of Zayne removing his shoes. When he fully enters the living room, his eyes land on you. A small chuckle escapes his lips along with a shake of his head. After the long day he has had, knowing you had fallen asleep waiting for him, puts some of the weight on his shoulders to rest.
Zayne crouches in front of you, slighting shaking your leg. You had fallen asleep sitting up, so when you were startled awake, you feel a horrible pain in your neck.
“You should really take better care of yourself.” His voice was stern but his eyes showed hints of playfulness. You groan as the ache in your neck doesn’t go away.
“Here.” Zayne stands and goes behind the couch. His hands find their way to the knot in your neck and starts to massage. You wince at the pain but don’t move away.
Eventually, the massage sends you off to sleep once again. Zayne can’t help but chuckle at how cute you are. Always so sleepy and it’s no one’s fault but your own, but it’s a part of you that he loves.
He gently lays you down on the couch and covers you with the blanket. He finds himself staring at you for who knows how long. Soon, he decides to sit on the floor beside you, carefully caressing your cheek. Before he knows it, Zayne falls asleep like that, not listening to his own advice.
~
Xavier:
It was your day off and you were determined to get chores around the house done. You’d gotten up earlier in the morning with Xavier to get started after he left for work.
It was only 2pm and you were already exhausted. Clothes were spread folded across the bed while half a basket was still waiting to be folded. Your eyes were heavy and the scent from Xavier’s shirt that you were wearing was making you more tired. He just had that effect on you. A little nap couldn’t hurt.
Surprisingly, Xavier comes home early today. He was so tired, it was becoming too dangerous for him to keep working so he took the rest of the day off.
He sluggishly makes his way to the bedroom. He knew you were busy today so he assumed you were out running errands. When he sees you fast asleep in a pile of his clothes, he can't help but fall in love with a little bit more, if that's even possible.
Doing his best to not disturb you, he silently folded the rest of the clothes and put them away. He might be exhausted, but his love for you is so much more.
Once the bed is cleared, he scoots in beside you, pulling you close, and falling asleep.
~
Rafayel:
Rafayel has been working nonstop, per usual. This time, though, he has a big investor wanting multiple paintings. He's been talking nonstop about what an amazing opportunity it is.
You've been in the studio with him all day, giving him ideas and inspiration. You're so tired, though. Especially now that the sun has gone down and the room has gotten a lot quieter, only the sounds of Rafayel's paint strokes.
Eventually, in a chair not too far behind him, you fall asleep. You stay like that for the longest time. Rafayel hasn't noticed your silence as he's been too focused, but when he asks you a question about how he's doing and you didn't answer, that's when he turns around.
Upon seeing you, he feels warmth circle his heart. Also a tad bit of guilt. He shouldn't have kept you up like this for so long.
He puts down his paints and makes his way to you.
"Cute."
You must be in pain. The way you're laying doesn't look comfortable with him. So, as gently as he could, he picks you up to take you back home. You stir a little before settling against his chest, hand loosely holding onto his shirt.
"Cute."
~
Caleb:
He'd been gone a couple months. Work had him out of town for very serious missions that he doesn't want to worry you with. You missed him terribly, even more so right now. It's your three year anniversary and he's not here. You don't blame him, of course, but you can't stop yourself from crying.
You pulled on one of his hoodies from the closet. His sent filling your nose, making you cry even more. You slide down the closet door onto the floor where you stay for what feels like hours. Before you know it, you've cried yourself to sleep.
Caleb stood in front of the door of the apartment the two of you share, trying to make himself look good with a bouquet of flowers in hand. He opens the door quietly, slowly peaking his head in. When he doesn't see you, he fully enters.
"Pips?" He asks, a smile still on full display. He searches every room before he sees you on the floor of the bedroom. The sight before him breaks his heart, but he knows that in just a few moments, your smile will put it back together.
He places the flowers on the bed and crouches down onto the floor, his face extremely close to yours. His thumb traces the trails your tears left, making sure to wipe all the ones he missed.
Slowly, you wake up, eyes fluttering open and trying to focus on what is in front of you. Once you register that a person was staring deeply into your eyes, you scream.
"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?" You yell as you fling yourself into Caleb's arms, wrapping yours around his neck. His laugh rumbles through his chest.
"Surprise!" He says coolly. "I got you something." Without letting you leave his arms, he turns to reach for the flowers behind him.
"Happy three years, pips."

———
“You’re such a fake friend!”
“Oh, Jesus, Nam Gyu. Will you grow up? It’s a Wednesday night-“
“But it’s black out Wednesday!” He whines, throwing his head into your pillow.
He’d been begging you to come to his stupid club for weeks, but each time you only responded with a “Maybe. I’ll decide for sure later,” which you never ended up doing. Now, the night before had finally came and you were set in your decision that no, you would not be attending.
“Yeah, which means Thanksgiving is Thursday-“
“What makes you think I give a fuck about some stupid American holiday?” He yells.
“What makes you think I give a fuck about getting black out drunk at your stupid club?!” You yelled back, the words coming out before they could stop. Your hand flew over your mouth, and Nam Gyu’s playful demeanor changed. “Nam Gyu, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that.”
“Whatever. See you after the holiday, I guess.” He says, grabbing his coat to leave.
“Wait, Nam Gyu, don’t go. We still have to smoke, Nam Gyu!” You called after him, as he quietly closed the door behind him. You sighed.
“Fuck.” you had really done it this time.
You hurt his feelings when all he had wanted to do was spend some time with his friend at his club since you never go out. And now that you had dug yourself into this hole, the only way you could dig yourself out was by going.
You texted and called his phone, but he didn’t answer. And at this point, the only way to get his forgiveness was to just show up.
So, you took an everything shower, laid out one of your few dresses best fit for a club(a cute little short and black strapless dress that wasn’t leaving much up to imagination), and then went to bed.
Of course, you didn’t sleep well. Your mind was racing with thoughts of what tomorrow night would hold, because you weren’t one to make the best decisions when drunk. In fact, you and Nam Gyu had hooked up once or twice after attending his club and getting too hammered. It would probably happen again this time, but you felt like you owed it to him after your outburst.
The night eventually came, and your outfit was was jaw dropping. The second you stepped out of the cab outside Club Pentagon, all eyes were on you.
You stepped inside, the music and bass thumping your whole body. Men were throwing themselves at your feet, but you had a mission. A mission to find Nam Gyu, get wasted on free drinks, and head back to his place to hook up.
You weaved through the crowded dance floor to the VIP area, assuming he’d be in his usual booth.
“You can’t come back here.” The bouncer outside the section says, placing an unnecessary hand on your chest. You stared up at the tall guard, his height towering yours.
“I’m here to see Nam Gyu, I’m his friend.”
“Are you on the list?”
“I don’t think so, he didn’t know I was coming. Just go tell him it’s Y/N.”
The bouncer turns, eyeing Nam Gyu’s usual booth that was covered by a curtain.
“He’s busy.”
“Bullshit, you didn’t even check.” You say, but he ignores you. “Please just let me in, he’s literally my best friend.”
“Then why haven’t I ever seen you before?”
“I don’t come out often. Just come on please?”
He eyes you, saying nothing.
“Pretty please?” You bat your eyelashes at him.
He was just about to fold, when a man walks up beside you.
“How’s it goin’, brother?” The bouncer greets him much more politely than he did you.
“Not too bad. Should be under Thanos.” The man says. The bouncer checks the list before nodding and lifting the red rope. Just before the man crosses, he glances at you. His gaze lingers, squinting as he attempts to put a name to your face.
“Hold up, I know you.” He says, pointing. “Uhh… fuck… I think it’s… Y/N, right? Nam Gyu’s little side piece.”
“We’re just friends, actually.” You respond, a slight hint of venom on your tongue.
He smirks. “Sure.”
You roll your eyes, ready to give up and turn to go to the dance floor, before he stops you.
“Wait, aren’t you coming back here?” He asks.
“Nam Gyu didn’t put me on the list.” You say. He laughs, assuming a deeper meaning than what there actually was. It felt pathetic, appearing as if you were just a little forgotten floozy chasing after Nam Gyu.
“Come on, señorita.” He says, holding his hand out to you. You don’t wanna accept, given his cocky nature, but you also don’t wanna be on the cramped dance floor alone.
You take his hand, and he gives the bouncer a slight nod before pulling you towards Nam Gyu’s booth. He pulls open the curtain, revealing Nam Gyu with his jeans slightly lowered, legs spread, getting what appeared to be one hell of a blowjob.
“Whoa! Get the fuck-Oh, shit! Y/N, my girl, what the hell are you doing here?” He asks, way too happy to see you, given you interrupting him. The girl pulls off him, covering her face in shame. He pulls up his jeans and fixes his belt as the girl runs off.
He leans over the table to hug you. “Ew. Don’t touch me.” You say, holding up your hands and leaning away in disgust.
Thanos laughs, reaching his hand out to dap up Nam Gyu. “How you been, brother?”
“Can’t complain.” Nam Gyu says, giving him a ‘bro hug’ and leaning back into the leather couch. The table in front of him is a wreck, filled with empty glasses and lines of coke just waiting to be snorted.
“Help yourselves.” He says, noticing you staring at the table.
“I think I’m okay.” You say, disdain in your voice.
“Such a priss.” Thanos mumbles, loud enough for you to hear, his voice laced with a challenge.
“I’m sorry, did you say something?” You spit at him.
“No.” He says, shaking his head with a grin.
“I didn’t think so.”
He smiles even wider. You roll your eyes, taking the rolled up dollar bill from his hand.
“Whoa, Y/N. Don’t think you need to prove anything to this guy.” Nam Gyu teases.
“Trust me,” You snort a line, then look at Thanos and say, “I know.”
His smile falters, just slightly, knowing you’d won the battle.
But, would you win the war?
As the night begins Nam Gyu orders rounds and rounds of shots for you all, back to back, non stop. You grew more drunk with each shot, and your body fought you to force them out everytime you forced one down.
Thanos inched closer to you as the night progressed, until eventually his thigh was touching yours.
His rough jeans scratched your bare leg, but you were so far gone you hadn’t paid it any mind.
“So, Y/N,” Thanos drags your name on his tongue. “What does someone like you do for a living?”
“Someone like me?” You ask, sipping on your drink.
“Yeah, someone so… uptight.”
You scoff, rolling your eyes and setting your drink down. “You’re so insufferable. How does anyone stand to be around you?”
“Usually they’re sitting.” He jokes, nudging your knee with his.
“Hm. Well maybe I should stand then.”
“You never answered the question.”
“Huh?” You ask, already having forgotten it in your drunken state.
“What do you do for a living?” He asks, irritated this time.
“I’m an assistant attorney.” You say.
“Well, maybe you can help me with a crypto problem of mine then.”
“You’re on your own there.” You say. “What do you do for work? That is, if you even work.”
“So mean.” He teases. “I’m a rapper.”
You laugh, so hard that your stomach hurts. You’re leaning over, gripping his arm for support as you try to pull yourself together as best you can. “Oh, my god. It makes so much sense.”
He’s not smiling. In fact, he’s irritated at how unserious you’re taking him.
“Sing to me.” You slur.
“I said rap, not sing. Learn the difference. Since you’re so smart, with your fancy lawyer degree.”
“Aw, okay, don’t get your panties in a twist.” You laugh at him.
“Don’t make me take yours off.” He attempts to tests the waters, but he’s so drunk he just dove straight in. His breath catches as he waits for your response, he knows for sure he scared you off now.
“I’m not wearing any.” You respond, smirking. He smirks back at you, amused by your warm and flushed cheeks. He glances past you at Nam Gyu, dead asleep on the other couch.
“Rap to me.” You pull his attention back to you.
He pulls something out of the air, free styling to the beat of the music that radiates through the club. The words go in one ear and out the other, but you’re still pretending to listen.
You nod and laugh, so drunk. He laughs back, reeling you in with that sweet smile and those pearly white teeth.
He rests his hand on your knee, drawing little circles. He’s waiting, testing, challenging you.
Your hand grabs his, moving it slowly up your thigh, all the while staring into each other’s souls.
Thanos fingers graze your inner thighs, feeling the heat of your cunt through your panties.
“Liar.” He says, his face inching closer to yours.
“Where’d I lie?” You smirk, your fingers grazing up his chest and to his neck.
“You said you weren’t wearing any panties.”
You’re both so close, yet so far.
“Guess I’m just full of surprises, huh?”
“Yes, you are.”
You break, closing the distance between you both as you grab his collar to yank his lips into yours. Your teeth clash together, the kiss rough and drunk and desperate. So desperate, so full of need.
His tongue sneaks pasts your lips, desperate to taste every part of your mouth. You taste so good; your lips the flavor of fruit and vodka.
One hand wraps around your throat, holding you for balance, the other moves your panties to the side to rub your wetness with his fingers.
You break the kiss, moaning.
“Shh. You don’t wanna wake him up now, do you?” He says, looking over at Nam Gyu, who was out like a light.
“Fuck, I-I don’t care. I want you.” You moan. The music was so loud anyway. You should be fine, right?
He slips a finger in you, drawing gasps and moans from your lips. You roll your hips into his fingers, wrapping your arms around his neck to pull him into you. You moan right in his ear, fueling him to fuck you with his fingers even harder.
He kisses you again, rough and sloppy. You’re too coked out to notice the way your lips are starting to bruise. Your nails dig into his arm, and your moans are trapped in his mouth as you inch closer to your release.
He pulls away, growing even more hard as he hears your whiny moans.
“Beg for me.” He tells you.
“You annoying fuck.” You moan, and he curls his fingers in you. “Fuck, fuck, okay. Please, please, Thanos. I need you to fuck me.”
He urges your finish and you’re a whimpering mess onto his shoulder, a string of curses and his name leaving your lips like a prayer.
He pushes down his jeans, taking off your pink panties and stuffing them in his pocket to keep as a reminder of you. If you had been sober you would’ve fought for them because they were your favorite pair, but unfortunately you were too desperate to be fucked to pay it any mind.
He thrust himself into you, not even wrapping himself first. Your nails dig into his back, moaning in ecstasy. His whispers in your ear are breathless and dirty, an attempt to make you a mess beneath him,
which was succeeding.
Tears pooled in your eyes, and you begged for that man in the most heartbreaking way. He was grinning ear to ear above you.
You, such an uptight little priss, falling apart beneath him.
“Who’s your daddy?” He teases.
“Ew, shut the fuck up.” You say in disgust, but the whine in your voice betrays you. He sucks on your neck, leaving bruised and purple hickeys on every inch. You were gonna be so screwed at work.
“You know you like it.” He groans in your neck. “Little prissy princess.”
You scoffed in response, still moaning. You hated to admit it, but you did kinda like it.
“Say you like it.” He slows his thrusts.
“No.” You moan. He slams into you, hitting your cervix. “Oh, god, I l-love it.”
He smirks, “You love ittt…?”
“Ugh,” you groan. “I love it, daddy.”
“There’s a good gjrl.” He picks his pace back up, fucking you relentlessly. You fingers trail under his shirt, clawing his chest.
“I’m so close.” You whine.
“Come on, then. Give it to me.” He growls. You come undone, screaming in ecstasy, barely even audible over the music.
But he hears it, and it pushes him over the edge. He spills into you, whining just like how you were.
He pulls out, sitting upright and fixing his jeans. The clarity hit him like a train, and he knew he was cooked. He needed to see you again, and you hadn’t even left yet.
He looked over at you, hand on your forehead as you caught your breath, legs spread and pussy on full display to him still.
He glanced over at Nam Gyu, who was laying down staring right back at Thanos. Thanos’ breath hitched slightly, but Nam Gyu just held a finger to his lips and closed his eyes, pretending he hadn’t even stirred in his sleep.
By the time Thanos looked back at you, you had fallen asleep too. He pushed your legs down so your body was straight, then he fixed your dress by tugging it down so far no one could even get an idea. He took off his jacket(his favorite one!) and draped it over your legs.
He got up and left, knowing you were safe with Nam Gyu there…
knowing he had to see you again.

Hi! Can I have #16 with Oscar please?
I’LL LOOK AFTER YOU…
1K SPECIAL - OP81

Taking care of them while sick!
SUMMARY: Oscar comes down with a cold and you offer your help!
WORD COUNT: 500
WARNINGS: Fluff, sick Osc :(, reader is not practicing germ prevention etiquette
FEATURING: Oscar Piastri x Reader
NOTE: I LOVE HIM he’s so squishable!! I kept this one short but yay! And 500 words on the dot? I’m incredible.
OSCAR WAS CURRENTLY BUNDLED UP TIGHT. He was sitting beneath layers of thick blankets to combat the cold that had been fighting him all day, even though you insisted it was actually quite warm inside his apartment. The poor fellow had contracted a simple cold, but it was hitting extra hard this time. When he called you that morning, voice raw and hoarse, you knew he needed your help!
“Alright, I know it’s not your favorite, but…” You tenderly set down a mug on the coffee table in front of him. The smell instantly told him it was ginger honey tea to help soothe his throat and clear his sinuses. Oscar hated the taste of ginger, but he understood why it was important. If he wanted to heal, he’d need to drink something he had a strong dislike for.
He picked up the mug and breathed in the scent, mostly to stall for time to prepare for the first sip. “Thank you, love,” He grumbled hoarsely before taking a few gulps. He wanted to down it all at once so he wouldn’t have to drink it again, but the taste set in fast and he reeled the mug back instantly, setting it back down. “Not sure what I’d do without you. Even when I feel like a pile of used tissues, you’re here for me.”
It was a cute profession of undying love, but when he was currently wearing one of your spa headbands to keep his hair away from his face, and probably ten throw blankets, it was hard to take him seriously. You giggled. “You’re just as handsome as ever.” You raised your palm to his forehead, checking for his fever. He waited patiently, expecting some sort of statement. “Definitely warm, but not as bad as this morning.”
“Hopefully the medicine kicks in soon,” Oscar claims, referring to the cold medicine his doctor had prescribed him. You had picked it up from the pharmacy that morning— You had pretty much done everything for him today, and you weren’t about to stop. Your boyfriend deserved this sort of pampering. “Thanks again, Y/N.”
“Hey, it’s what a girlfriend does. I’m here to make sure you stay hydrated and don’t end up stressing yourself out over a minor cold.” Maybe it’s just the fever, but the tips of his ears definitely go red at your teasing. Mr. Nonchalant tended to overthink his sickness. “You’d do the same for me, so let me take care of you.”
He stared at you gently, his eyes droopy. It was probably the medicine taking effect finally, the sleep inducement beginning to become more and more apparent. You kissed his temple sweetly, interlocking your hands as you sat beside him.
“You’re gonna get sick too,” He commented softly at your sudden closeness.
“Well, then you’re gonna have to care for me afterwards.”
“I can’t say no to you.” He rested his head atop yours, slowly shutting his eyes to catch up on much needed sleep.

Um sorry uf this is a weird one but could the reader be shy and mattheo uses bdsm on her for the first time and she likes it
Yes!!!! Love this idea!
Do You Trust Me
Mattheo Riddle x F!Reader
Warnings: Bondage, cussing, unprotected sex, creampie, blindfold, fingering.
18+ Minors DNI!

You and Mattheo had been dating for a while now. You obviously have had sex many times, you were just always shy about it. Embarrassed about the topic. You loved having sex with him, but if he tried talking about it, you always shied away, always wormed your way out of the conversation. Mattheo found it funny and cute, but really wanted to talk to you about something that he’d been wanting to try with you for the past week. But you kept managing to get out of the conversations.
Finally, he had enough and had you under him as he was kissing you, he had you pinned to his bed, no way you could get out of this now.
He pulled back from the kiss and smiled down at you. “Princess, you know I’ve been trying to talk to you about something for a week now.”
“I think I prefer the kissing.” You said with a blush.
“You know I love how shy and cute you get.” He teased. “I wanna try something.”
“What?” You asked quietly.
“Do you trust me?” He asked back, not answering your question.
“I do.” You said, but with a bit of caution.
“Would you trust me to take care of you if you were tied up or blindfolded or anything like that?” He rubbed at your sides soothingly, not wanting to scare you off.
You stared up at him, face red in embarrassment at the conversation. But you also couldn’t deny that what he was saying intrigued you. So after a short pause, you finally spoke up. “Yeah.” Your voice was quiet and he probably wouldn’t have caught it if he wasn’t so close to you.
“Would you be willing to try that with me?” His hands stopped and squeezed your sides slightly in a reassuring way.
“Yeah.” You said with a small nod.
He smiled again, giving you a sweet kiss before helping you out of your clothes. He might’ve been going a little faster than usual, eager to try this out with you. He figured you’d say yes and already got what he’d need, so once he had you undressed, he quickly grabbed the soft ribbon he bought to tie you up. He didn’t want it to hurt you, so he opted for that instead of rope.
“Hands up for me, sweetheart.” He said as he came back to the bed, sitting beside you. You lifted your hands up and he tied them to the headboard before checking to make sure they aren’t too tight and aren’t digging into your skin too hard. “This makes you look like a present.” He smiled, trying to ease your nerves. “How’s that feel?” He rubbed along your stomach gently.
“It feels fine.” You said quietly, gently tugging at the ribbon to see if it’ll come undone. It won’t. Mattheo had done his research on how to keep it from untying.
“Good.” He said, bringing a hand to your cheek, caressing it softly. “If you ever wanna stop, if it gets too much or anything at all, just say ‘pomegranate’ and I’ll stop everything, okay?”
You nodded, leaning into his touch.
“What’s the word?” He asked.
“Pomegranate.”
“Good girl.” He said. “I’m gonna blindfold you, too. Just focus on how I’m making you feel instead of worrying about things, yeah?”
You nodded in response again and he smiled.
He placed the blindfold on you, leaving you in darkness and unsure of what he was planning. You could hear some shuffling before he settled between your legs, rubbing them gently. He slipped his fingers between your folds.
“You’re fucking soaked, princess. It seems you’re into this stuff, huh?” You could practically hear the smile.
He pushed two fingers in you, thrusting them in and out quickly as you moaned and whined. His thumb found your clit and you were trying to close your legs on him.
“You’re doing so good for me.” He said, using his free hand to push your legs back open. “So beautiful.”
“Matty, please.” You whined.
“How about we try ‘sir’ instead?” He said and you were too worked up already to overthink anything.
“Please, sir.” You begged.
“That’s much better. Please what, angel?” His fingers were relentless, just working on trying to make you cum.
“I’m gonna cum, please.” Your hips were trying to move to meet with his fingers.
“Beg for it then, princess. Use your words.”
“Please, let me cum, sir. Please.” You begged, pulling at the ribbon as your legs shook.
“I’m not convinced yet. Keep going.”
“Please, sir. I need to cum. Please. It feels so good. Please.” You were nearly crying at this point.
“Good girl. Cum on my fingers.” He said, his free hand coming up to play with your nipples.
You came on his fingers with a cry of his name along with some profanity, body trembling beneath him.He helped ride out your orgasm before pulling out his fingers.
“Open.” He said and you opened your mouth. He pushed his fingers in. “Clean them.” You followed the order and sucked and licked his fingers clean, tasting yourself from them. “You’re so obedient.”
He pulled his fingers out and pushed your legs up to your chest. You could feel him starting to tease his cock along your pussy, coating it in your arousal. You whined and hissed at the contact, still sensitive from the orgasm.
“Please, sir, I need you.” You begged, wiggling your hips a little to get a little more friction.
“Yeah? Need me to fuck your sweet little pussy?” He teased, just wanting to hear you beg more.
“Yes! Please!”
“Always so shy, but act like such a slut for my cock, huh?” He started easing his cock in, wanting to go slow to make you feel everything. You both were moaning, panting with every inch that he pushed into you.
He bottomed out and groaned before starting to thrust in and out of you, setting a brutal pace. With how he had you folded, you were feeling him so deep in you, feeling like he was in your stomach. He moved a hand to rub at your clit, the other wrapping around your neck, lightly squeezing the sides. It had you getting lightheaded and making everything feel much more intense.
“Fuck, you’re squeezing me, baby. You like this? You like me fucking you like a slut?” He asked and all you could do was moan in response, too fucked out to think of anything else. “Got you all dumb on my cock now too? My sweet, shy girl, all fucked out on my cock. You look fucking perfect, princess.” He was rambling, but it only made you wetter, building your orgasm much quicker. “Gonna cum on my dick, angel? I can feel you fucking clenching me.”
You were moaning and crying out as best as you could with his hand around your throat, pulling on the restraint. Your orgasm tore through you and cried out his name again, tears spilling down your cheeks in pleasure. He helped ride it out before untying you and flipping you over, getting you onto your knees and pushing your chest and head down onto the bed before pushing back into you.
“You’re so fucking perfect for me, princess.” He said, grabbing your hands to hold them behind your back with one hand as he pounded into you from behind. His other hand landed a spank on your ass, causing a yelp to escape your lips followed by a moan. “My princess likes that, huh?” He said and spanked you again, rubbing the area softly. “Fucking slut. You’re so fucking dirty. Just hiding behind all that shyness.”
He ripped another orgasm from you before finally cumming himself, filling your warm cunt with his cum as he helped ride out both of your orgasms.
He helped you back onto your back, gently taking off the blindfold. You had to blink a few times to adjust to the light before seeing his face, softly smiling down at you as he rubbed at your side soothingly again.
“How was that?” He asked gently, brushing your hair from your face. “Good?”
You nodded, catching your breath. “Good.”
“I got other things we can try later, too.”

. . . jason grace

˖°𓇼bf!jason is NOT classy. this man grew up with wolves and warriors what did you expect. bf!jason who doesn't know whether to spend the day in the mortal world or in new rome. bf!jason who would ask every single woman he knew how to woo you properly on valentines and they would probably end up messing with him. bf!jason who picks you up by flying into your window all smoothly with a huge smile on his face. bf!jason who brings you your favorite flowers. bf!jason who ends up being so formal and taking you to an impressive restaurant as a favor from his dad. bf!jason who uses son of the king privileges to get you expensive gifts and drive you around in a car he doesn't own (oop) and stuff. bf!jason who is a complete gentleman and so respectful and kind (ultimate rizz level). bf!jason who gets a little shy because he just adores you so much. bf!jason who takes you somewhere "secret" and it ends up just being a quiet neighborhood. bf!jason who parks the car somewhere hidden and wraps a strong arm around you and flies up to one of the roofs to watch the sunset. bf!jason who listens to you talk so fondly and asks if you had fun with him. bf!jason who holds your hand on the roof as night fell, scooting ever closer, your head on his shoulder.
the sun was low in the horizon by the time you left the restaurant from your lunch date with jason. the day had been going well, you were half-doubled over with laughter, and your cute blonde boyfriend was unable to stop smiling.
"okay, gentleman," you tease as jason opened the car door for you, closing it before entering the vehicle himself.
"i hope you liked the food?" he asks, fixing his seatbelt and refusing to meet your eyes. your lips quirk up at that, running a hand over his arm comfortingly.
"we were there for hours, jase. the waiter was about to kick us out."
he was pleased with that. "just checking."
he starts the car and drives. the flowers he had gotten perfumed the interior, the bag with the personalized necklace for you sitting comfortably in your lap.
the blond boy breaks the silence, "you okay with spending the rest of the night with me?"
"yes."
"no time limit from your parents?"
"no."
"are you sure?"
"yes."
"are you sure sure that you don't need to be home by nine o'clock?"
"jason!" you laugh, turning your body to look at him. "my parents trust you a lot, my dad may not show it but he's really fond of you, okay? i can come home late tonight."
you kiss the tips of your fingers then hold it to his cheek. he beams. "just checking."
the rest of the ride was silent, but not awkwardly so. he pulls up to a wealthy looking neighborhood, was let in by the gate guard (to your surprise), and parked beside one of the huge trees.
"did you buy a house?" you joke, stepping out of the car after he, once again, opens the door for you. jason looks pleased with himself, and although you expected him to say no, he had a couple more surprises up his sleeve.
he scratches his nape, pushing up his glasses with his other hand. "i, uh... rented it."
"you rented a house?!" you exclaim, but before youcould scold him for his lack of monetary responsibility (despite it being provided by his father), he wraps an arm around your waist firmly and shoot up into the air, eliciting a loud scream from you.
"just making sure nobody was around to see tthis, exactly," he says.
he lands on the roof. the sun was quickly reaching its lowest point, and the sky was painted by hues of red, orange and pink. you watch it in awe from your new view point, even standing up a little to see the expanse of houses stretching out as far as your eyes could see.
the air was getting cool now, nipping yourskin slightly and making you shiver in your sleeveless dress. you felt jason's presence coming closer behind you, and he turns you around softly.
your eyes glittering in gratitude, you wrap your arms around his shoulders and kiss him, his glasses pressing into your cheeks, his lips soft except for the part where his scar was, pouring every single thank you in your mind into it.
he pulls away first. "we've still got dinner."

morning scrunches, harry lewis.
summary: mornings with harry and baby bog
warnings: girldad!harry, cuteness overload!!!
waking up besides harry had quickly become one of your favourite things ever since the two of you began dating. his face being the first that you saw everyday was just so refreshing and bought you so much comfort.
today was no different, your hand naturally coming up to caress the side of your boyfriend's face as he slept peacefully. before you'd gone to bed, your head was on harry's chest but now, it seems the roles had reversed and harry's head was now on your chest, his arms wrapped securely around your body.
turning to the bedside table on your side, you checked the baby monitor, seeing your baby girl was still asleep.
using that as an excuse for a couple more minutes of cuddles, you inched closer to harry, feeling him readjust his head on your chest.
a few moments after, you heard harry groan, waking himself up after a good night's sleep. and like he did every morning, he searched for you, smiling through tired eyes once he found your beautiful face.
"morning, love," he rasped, kissing your cheek.
"morning, babe."
now that harry was up, you checked the baby monitor again, seeing your little sleeping beauty was wide awake, just feeling rather quiet this morning.
"d'you want me to go get her?" harry asked.
"no, it's alright, i'll get her."
the two of you often took it in turns to do the morning shifts, as you called them. one of you would tend to your baby and settle her down or get her ready for the day, whilst the other got to breakfast and making sure the rest of you were ready for the day.
walking to the nursery, you outwardly awed at the sight of your little bundle of joy, picking her out of her cot. the newborn scrunch was something you absolutely adored and would definitely miss as she got older.
"hello, my precious girl!" you cooed as she smiled a gummy smile, reaching for your face as you held her near you. "let's go say morning to daddy, hm?"
the first time you say harry interact with your daughter, you almost gave him another. he was such a natural with babies, people were surprised to find out he head a mild feat of them.
walking back to your bedroom, you saw harry had moved positions, his body now sat up against the headboard as the sheets rested around his waist, exposing his naked upper body.
he put his phone down as soon as he saw you and your daughter walk into the room, smiling so hard his cheeks were starting to hurt.
"look who's awake," he gushed as you handed her over to him, sitting right besides him. resting your chin on harry's shoulder, you watched how he interacted with your daughter, your heart swelling at the sight.
he kissed both her cheeks, watching as she squirmed and smiled at her dad's touch, her small hand holding his finger, grasping so tight as if it was all she knew.
"i'm gonna get started on breakfast," you spoke softly to harry, leaving as he nodded and kissed your forehead.
it was actually his turn to make breakfast, but seeing how occupied he was with your little girl, you were sure you could manage another day of making breakfast.
meanwhile, harry spent that time talking to baby girl about everything and nothing, things he did with her uncles lately, how big olive was getting and the playdates that they'd be able to have soon, things he'd seen that reminded him of her mother, how beautiful her mother was... literally rambling to an 8 week old about whatever came to his mind.
"did you know i actually wanted to call you bog? yeah, your mum put a straight end to that dream. you'll still be mini bog to me though," you heard as you came back into the room, laughing to yourself at the almost name of your baby girl.
"breakfast's ready," you mumbled against harry's skin as you kissed his cheek, giving your daughter one too. "oh look, you changed her! she's so adorable, i might cry."
"oh, please don't, you'll set her off again." harry rolled his eyes as you nudged him.
the next few moments were filled with a comfortable silence as your baby glanced between her parents, a serene look on her face.
"can you believe we made her?" you sighed.
"i can believe it, yes, because that's what happens when two people───"
"harry! gosh, i'm trying to be sentimental here." you groaned at his inability to be serious.
he laughed in response to your reaction, wrapping an arm around your shoulder as his other arm was being used to hold the tiny human. "i'm joking, i promise. but i get what you mean. like we're actually parents."
"still feels unreal."
"mhm. but," he said, facing you. "i wouldn't change it for the world."
humming at his words, you placed a sweet kiss on his lips, a hand on his cheek as you stared at him lovingly. "me neither."

lord powerfultenderness, I don't know how to fully picture it but can we have neighbor könig doing grocery shopping with y/n? Please!~
I swear I saw a post somewhere that said König probably makes bank. And Sugar Daddy König hc born/accepted. This man will spoil you if you give him the chance (and then idk wreck you later?)
Either you were oblivious to the looks strangers gave you, to the way women quickly turned around and went down different aisles, or you didn’t care. It was, in fact, the latter. This big menacing looking guy beside you practically cleared a path wherever you wanted. Busy aisles you’d normally have to do trick maneuvers with your cart? Cleared out when he looked at other shoppers. It was amazing, really.
You stopped and looked up at the shelf, the item you wanted on the very top and if you stretched out…you still couldn’t reach it. Even before you could pout and try again, König reached over and plucked the box of snacks off the shelf and dropped in the basket.
Maybe it was the way his eyes crinkled a bit, but you could tell he was smiling at you. “Those are car snacks.”
“Car snacks?”
You nodded and continued to push the cart down the aisle. You’d deviated from your shopping list so much that you were now just going up and down aisles to see if there was anything you needed.
“You know, snacks you keep in the car for emergencies. Like, getting stuck in traffic, or on the side of the road while waiting for a tow truck…or lost…”
“How often do you get lost?” He laughed, shoulders shaking as he tried to keep his laugh at a reasonable indoor level.
“It was just the one time! My GPS wasn’t working!” It wasn’t your fault downtown was an impossible maze!
“What did you do?”
“I had a snack and figured it out.” You gave up and went home, but he didn’t need to know that.
Though he could probably guess with the way he was side eyeing you. You knocked your hip into his side (and he didn’t budge at all!) “What do you say to pasta for dinner?”
He titled his head, “you’re making dinner for me?”
“Yea, I want to do something nice for you for helping me out.”
König beamed at you, though you couldn’t see behind his mask and you were currently looking at one of the shelves. “I will eat whatever you cook.”
You laughed, it sounded so weird when he said it like that. “Alright, pasta it is.”
On the way to the checkout, you happened upon a display of clothing, mostly blouses and tee shirts, but some printed leggings as well. “Ooh, that’s cute.” You stopped and picked up a strappy sundress printed with your favorite flowers. “And my size!” You cheered to yourself as you looked at the tag. You flipped it over to check the price tag then set the dress back on the rack. “Pssh, not that cute.”
You looked at him just as he turned away from the dress you liked. “Hey, can you wait in line while I run and get my prescription?”
He nodded and took over pushing the cart as you handed him your debit card, “just in case it takes too long.”
It was a good thing you handed him your card too! There was a bit of wait while your prescription was transferred to the new in store pharmacy. You half debated whether or not you should just leave to pick it up another day, but you already missed a day and didn’t want to throw off the effects.
By the time you had your medication, König was waiting for you out front. “Sorry about that!”
He shook his head, “no problem.” And handed you the receipt and your card back.
You giggled as he loaded the bags in almost one scoop into the back of his truck. Your car was currently in the shop and he very quickly offered to help you out in the meantime.
“Thank you so much!” You smiled at him once all of the groceries were sitting on your counter.
“Anytime.” He answered simply.
“Still up for dinner tonight?”
He nodded, “of course.”
The little short answers, no hearty laugh included, were weird. But maybe he just had enough company for a few hours. “Alright, I’ll pop over later then?”
“Goodbye.” He nodded again and quickly left you alone.
Weird…
Whatever. Maybe he’ll feel better once he…oh!
You pulled out one of the very dresses you thought was cute, but too expensive, from one of the bags. König’s doing? You checked the receipt and it wasn’t listed. He…bought it himself? And hid it from you? Suddenly the way he was acting nervous before he left made sense.
-
König’s stomach flipped and his face burned when he opened the door later that night. You were standing in front of him wearing the dress he bought. “You look like an angel.”
You smiled and spun around, the dress flaring cutely as you did so. “I can’t believe you bought this! Thank you so much! But, let me repay you?”
“No. Have dinner with me?”
You giggled, you were already having dinner with him! “You sneaky man! Come on, let’s go!” You then grabbed one of his hands and started to pull him out and towards your flat.
“Wait. Let me lock up.” He fished his keys out of his pocket and locked the door with one hand, refusing to pull out of your touch.
“Oh. right!”
“You didn’t lock up, did you?”
“What! It’s just right there!”
König was laughing again as he followed you to your home, a dopey smile you couldn’t see lighting his eyes
[More neighbor König]

All the music you didn’t hear: The Good Omens soundtrack is lying to you. *Part 1*
The Bonkers Meta Series part 2: Electric Boogaloo.
I so rarely get a chance to misuse my experience in classical music, but here we are. When I realized on my most recent watch-through of the series that the David Arnold score was brilliant, but also really wonky in some parts and I couldn’t put my finger on why, @embracing-the-ineffable suggested I listen to the album soundtrack to compare.
And when I tell you what I found hidden in there, you’re going to need Eccles cakes...
1) The Song is the Clue

So right up top we have this banger. The 12th track on the album is the orchestral backdrop to the scene in the Job minisode where Aziraphale reveals Crowley’s crow/goats. The duration is 2:22 (the only track with multiples on the album), and if you look at the track by itself it doesn’t mean much. But the song just before it is actually from this fucking scene:
You know, the one where there’s a song that’s a clue to a mystery. Except Clue is capitalised, and Aziraphale pronounces it. I’ve seen guesses that this is a reference to the movie Clue, but I would put a lot of money on the fact that we are supposed to read the title of the song currently playing at that moment in the show *as a Clue*, which is super convenient, because the word Clue is capitalized in the track listing.
Seems like the overlords of Good Omens have a message for us : The song is the Clue. It’s what God wants. Cool cool cool. WHAT SONG?
2) Symmetry in all things
Before I straight up tell you, we have to go back and look at season 1.
Now I’m far from the first to notice tons of parallels between the story, details and even lines in both seasons. It got me thinking that maybe there are some fun synch-up parallels between the two season’s soundtracks, seeing as they are both 6 episodes long. Here’s the end of S1 and then S2
Oh that’s a bummer, I thought to myself.
They don’t even add up to the same number, or playtime, and neither of them is exactly 60 tracks. But do you want to hear a secret? S2 is actually missing 3 tracks on the album. And because there are 2 discs in S2 (cute), the numbers of the tracks start over again from 1. Remember how much God likes sevens? Check out where all the weirdness is happening in disc 2 (I’ve added the missing track listings in red to add context):
After checking each track with the show and listening side by side (for reasons that will become clear in another post) I can definitively say that there is something *very weird* going on at the end of episode 4.
First is track 7, Zombie dressing room, which seems to actually reach over two distinct scenes of the photo evidence in the dressing room and then Shax in hell even though it only has one title.
But *between* these two scenes we get an eerily silent wine date with Aziraphale & Crowley.

There’s really no music or even sound here besides the dialogue and room tone (until after the cheers), and it seems like a very intentionally silent version of a ritz date from season 1.
My best guess is that we are supposed to divide that track into two tracks of 7, before and after the date to get a second track 7. Or maybe the silent one is missing music? The third track number 7 is the weirdest one. It’s this scene here, when Nina parks her bike, and Aziraphale parks the car at the end of S2E4.
If you take a close listen to the music, it’s a jaunty little piece, with an oom-pah base in 3 ⁄ 4 time. The thing is, this music does not exist in any Good Omens album. Please feel free to correct me, but I’ve tried to find any part of any song that this could even be a reprise of, and I Shazammed it to be sure it wasn’t anything else. This song does not exist anywhere except in this scene. (It quickly morphs into a reprise of the original theme once Nina leaves Aziraphale). It’s an invisible song.
So we have 3 tracks at the end of S2E4: a long one, a silent one and an invisible one. Only one of which is numbered 7, but that all fit into that place in the track listing.
Which, when we add the two extras to the original total of fifty-nine we get... sixty-one! Hey wait a minute.
How are we going to get to 62?
3) The real missing track.
So the real reason we had to go back to the S1 album was because it contains the missing track that God is talking about. Let’s compare the last tracks on each album.
I’ve highlighted the mismatch between the in-show music and the album in S2, which means I had to add A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square back into the S2 album because guess what, it’s not in the S2 album. Even though it plays in the show.
You want to know how not in the album it is? Amazon had to track it in the show as a season 1 song. They had to give Tori Amos credit for her song on Good Omens in the X-ray bonus features because that’s how not in the album this song is.
So my fellow beings, if the song is the Clue, then It’s what God Wants.
And if God wants a happily ever after with Aziraphale and Crowley on their own side, then by Job, I think Neil is going to give it to her.
-----------
And there's more where that came from! Part 2 coming shortly.

PART TWO
Dipper dozed fitfully for the thirty minutes that Grunkle Stan was gone. He tossed and turned and sweated a bit, hearing himself whimper every few minutes.
But the door finally opened, waking up Dipper fully. Stan walked in and came across the room, sitting down next to the bed.
“Hey buddy,” Stan murmured gently, reaching over to put his hand on Dipper’s head, “how are ya feeling?”
Dipper moaned and leaned into Stan’s comforting touch with a small dry-sob. Stan ran his hand through Dipper’s curls as softly as he could, smiling at the child.
“You’re alright, kiddo. Shh, it’s okay,” Stan whispered, feeling the heated sweat on his nephew’s forehead, his face falling into sadness. The poor kid.
“Gr-Grunkle St…aan?” Dipper whimpered, his voice slurred and slow. Stan sighed, feeling even sadder.
“I’m right here, Dipper. Hey, it’s okay. It’s okay. Don’t try to get up. Just lay there buddy,” Stan murmured, putting a hand on Dipper’s shoulder to keep him lying down. “How are ya feeling? Do you wanna try something easy on your stomach yet?”
Dipper muttered something incoherent.
“What’s up, kid?” Stan said gently, leaning towards him to hear better.
“I still feel like…like Imma…throw up…” Dipper said slowly, his eyes mostly closed from the fever. He looked utterly miserable. He shivered beneath Stan’s hand, which was still on his shoulder.
“Hey, that’s okay buddy. Remember, we got the bucket over here for ya if you need it, huh?” Stan told him, gently running his hand through Dipper’s curly brown hair.
“Mmm…kay…” Dipper whispered. Stan sighed, knowing he should leave Dipper at least another thirty minutes or an hour or two before giving him anything, just to make sure his stomach was fully calmed down.
“Alright buddy,” Stan replied. “You think you’ll be all good for another thirty minutes? I’ll let you rest.”
Dipper nodded sleepily, the chills still wrecking his body. Stan gently pushed Dipper’s hair off his forehead and kissed his birthmark again as a goodbye.
“See ya in a minute, buddy.”
He walked out of the room, shutting the door.
—XXX—
Stan let Dipper sleep for two hours, checking on him every thirty minutes. Finally, he brought Dipper some ginger ale, sitting beside him and gently shaking him awake.
“Mm?” Dipper murmured, his eyes clearer now. When Stan felt his head, it seemed that his fever had gone down quite a bit.
“Hey, buddy. How are ya?” Stan asked softly, smiling at him. “Your fever’s gone down a bit. And your stomach is probably calm enough for you to start sipping somethin’,” Stan told him, running his hand through Dipper’s hair gently.
Dipper smiled tiredly, looking somewhat confused.
“Come on, sit up,” Stan said, reaching around his nephew to help him get into a sitting position. “You’re okay,” he added when Dipper moaned in discomfort. “Here, let’s try to get something in ya, huh?”
Dipper nodded, opening his eyes more and trying to squint around the room. Stan put his hand over the back of Dipper’s neck, tilting his head back just slightly and lifting the cup of ginger ale to his mouth as gently as he could. Dipper’s hand reached up and tried to grip the cup too. Stan was startled at how small Dipper’s hands seemed.
“Shh…that’s it…just a few small sips, okay? There we go,” Stan murmured gently, tipping the cup slightly to help his nephew take a small drink.
Dipper obeyed Stan to the best of his ability, slowly taking in ginger ale for a moment or two before Stan decided he’d had enough and set the cup on the nightstand, helping Dipper lie back down.
“Alright kiddo. You should rest a little more. Then we’ll see what we can do with more ginger ale and maybe something salty, hm?” Stan told Dipper quietly. Dipper moaned slightly and reached towards Stan, a pleading, frightened expression on his face.
It was clear he wanted Stan to stay and hold his hand.
Stan stared at Dipper’s small hand and drew a deep, long, shuddering breath.
“Oh…” Stan muttered, feeling tears sting in the corners of his eyes. Stan carefully sat down on the edge of Dipper’s bed and gently took the boy’s small hand in his large, rough one. He stared down at their hands, realizing just how small Dipper was.
Toughening him up, huh? He’s just a child. Just because you were roughed up as a kid doesn’t make it right, Stan thought to himself. He gently stroked the bridge of Dipper’s knuckles with his thumb, trying to assure the boy of any comfort he could offer.
Dipper closed his eyes, smiling in his sleep, his weakened hand briefly squeezing his grunkle’s. Stan ducked his head, turning his face away, his vision growing blurry.
Dipper wanted him. Oh damn, Dipper really wanted him there.
Dipper was comforted by him.
Stan’s body heaved in a singular, silent sob. But he stifled his emotions, promising himself he’d cry later where the kid couldn’t see. That didn’t quite matter, however, as Dipper was already fast asleep again, under his fever.
Stan covered his face in his free hand, squeezing Dipper’s small one as his shoulders shook and a small droplet traced its way down his cheek.
—XXX—
Stan didn’t realize he had fallen asleep until he was awake. The clock read 6:00AM.
He’d fallen asleep on his bed next to Dipper, and while they were both asleep his revered nephew had nestled in the crook of Stan’s arm, his small hands gripping Stan’s shirt in tight little fists.
Stan smiled at him and noticed that the boy was no longer shivering with fever, instead looking quite peaceful, even if his breathing was slightly irregular.
He didn’t want to, but Stan gently shook Dipper awake with the intent of getting something in the child’s stomach.
“Hey buddy. You wanna sit up and try to get something in that stomach of yours?” Stan asked softly.
Dipper made a soft whining sound and nuzzled his face more firmly into Stan’s side. Stan chucked.
“Come on. Up you get kiddo.” Stan helped him sit up and gently pulled Dipper into his arms, settling the small boy against his shoulder. “Let’s go find you something easy, huh?”
Stan took the young boy to the kitchen and settled him in a chair, which seemed to help him wake up a bit. He followed Stan’s progress around the kitchen as Stan heated some applesauce for him and set a small pack of saltine crackers on the table in front of him.
“Why don’t you try nibbling on one of those? Take it slow. And you can have small sips of ginger ale, okay?”
Stan went about warming the applesauce, and then brought it over to Dipper with a spoon. Dipper glanced at the applesauce and then up at Stan, his tired brown eyes slightly confused.
“It’s for you,” Stan murmured, pushing the warm bowl so it was right in front of him. “Hopefully you’ll like it. Or at least your stomach might.”
Dipper nodded, lifting the spoon to his lips and gently nibbling at the applesauce as though he were scared it would hurt him.
“Don’t worry, kid, it’s just a little bit of applesauce,” Stan chuckled, sitting down across Dipper with a mug of coffee.
Dipper nodded. “I know,” he said thickly, sniffling slightly. “Why are you…so…” Dipper trailed off, looking at Stan quizzically.
Stan glanced to the side and then back at his nephew. “Why am I so what?” he asked, bewildered.
Dipper sighed. “Why are you being so nice to me?” he asked in a soft, timid voice, staring down at his applesauce, his fever-flushed cheeks turning crimson.
Stan chuckled. “I’ve been pretty tough on ya otherwise, haven’t I?” he asked, feeling slightly saddened. Seeing his nephew so small tonight had made him change his mind. Of course, Dipper could still be roughed up a bit to make him tougher. But he needed more than that from his caretaker.
He needed to be built up too.
Stan was almost ashamed that he’d only just realized all this. He reached across the table and gently placed his hand on Dipper’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry, kid. When push comes to shove, I care about you and Mabel, and Wendy and Soos more than anybody on the planet,” Stan said. He omitted one person, but that came easily. “I may not act like it. And I sure don’t like saying it–heck, it makes me look like a big ol’ sap, huh? But whether I like saying it or not, it’s the truth.”
And it was the truth. Most of it. Stan couldn’t tell Dipper about Ford. He wasn’t ready for that conversation.
Dipper looked down at the table, clearly unsure of what to make of this. Stan lifted his hand from Dipper’s shoulder and instead tilted his chin upwards a little.
“Hey, now. It’s okay, buddy,” Stan said with a small, weary smile.
“You’ve spent all night caring for me,” Dipper whispered.
And working on the portal. “I’d do it a million times over too,” Stan answered. “If it helped ya feel any better.”
Dipper’s face broke into a small, but genuine smile. He reached for his applesauce.
“Attaboy, Mason,” Stan said without thinking as Dipper took a bite of the applesauce.
Dipper nearly spat it out, but instead quickly swallowed and wiped his mouth on his sleeve, with an expression that reminded Stan starkly of a startled owl.
“H-How’d you know my name is Mason?” he spluttered, his eyes wide and his face flushed again. Stan grimaced nervously.
“I…uh…saw you and Mabel in the hospital just after you were born,” he told Dipper. “And it wasn’t like I was just gonna forget your names.”
Dipper was staring at him with a mixture of surprise and some type of hopefulness on his face. But he didn’t say anything else.
After a minute, Dipper went back to his applesauce. Stan gently touched the back of his hand to the kid’s forehead, discovering that his fever was fully gone.
“There we go,” he murmured with a satisfied sigh. “You’re gonna be just fine.”

Just as predicted, Chiara was in the throes of her hangover by the time [Name] had woken up. Kermit (who she later was able to establish as the calmer of the two Tullys) had been handing her a water while Oscar and Benji were in the kitchen, cooking pancakes and cutting fruit.
"The world is upside down and inside out." Chiara says out loud.
"How much did you drink?" Kermit questions, only earning a groan from Chiara as a response.
[Name] is the one to respond, "Enough for her to forget that Chemistry exam."
"What exam?"
Kermit and [Name] exchange a grin. "Told you."
Once she reaches the first floor, she makes her way over to Chiara, checking on her friend. She looked worse than she most likely felt, with her hair pulled into all kinds of knots and volume.
Chiara seemed to have been pulled in and out of sleep, her mind seemingly wanting her awake while her body looked a couple hours behind from the way she lifts her arm up and lets it go, the limb smacking her across the face. Chiara groans again.
"[Name]!"
"You always get piss drunk and regret it the morning afterwards. Its like you never learn your lesson. Didn't we have a conversation about you eating bread before you started drinking?" [Name] comments as she pushes the glass of water to her lips again. "Keep drinking water. I know you also have Liquid IV in your purse so pour some in that too while you're at it."
"You're awful good about knowing the cure for hangovers." Kermit comments as [Name] kneels for Chiara's purse to find the powdered packet. "Do you go out often?"
[Name] shakes her head. "My older sister gave me some advice before I started uni and I guess I just remembered it. I tell Chiara all the time but she never seems to get it in her head that protein and bread will keep her from any of this--"
"I do not wish for a lecture now."
An eye roll came off from the girl as she throws the powder on her lap. "You'll get it now or you get it later. Your death."
Benji comes up to them, plates of breakfast on his arms, to which [Name] takes gratefully. He sits beside Kermit and watches the two argue back and forth before chiming in.
"You've been harping since she woke up," Benji says quietly to her. They watch as Chiara gets pulled up by Oscar from behind and Kermit makes a comment about the pancakes being tasty. "Maybe you should ease up on her?"
"Easy for you to say." [Name] says, taking a fork full of pancakes. "I'll be the one dealing with her later if she doesn't follow that routine I so willingly researched to make after one too many hangovers with her."
Benji snorts. "Of course you'd research it. Little miss routine and research."
He bites into his food but [Name] felt her body tense at his comment. "Routine and research."
Benji nods. "Yeah. When you have to figure out a routine, you go and research it. I don't think I've ever seen you do anything spontaneously."
"Us fake dating isn't spontaneous?" [Name] suggests.
Benji laughs. "I mean, maybe, but you sat me down and showed me the probability of people figuring us out and then basically started a lecture about how we should be careful one night and what kind of lies we should have on hand in case we slip up."
It had been our of precaution, [Name] remembered thinking. She had looked into what could have happened in case Aeron and his friends rubbed their braincells together to culminate that they were fake dating. Benji had shrugged off the conversation at the time but she wonders if he changed his mind after last night.
Clearly the precaution had been more necessary than anything after last night. She had nearly been lost in herself when she realized Aeron caught them and knew they were lucky he had been enough in a drunken haze into thinking her and Benji actually did come together.
Routine and research had been her only means of getting her comfortable with this situation. Something just felt right when she had all the information and statistics laid out on the table for her to see. Regardless, the comment left a dry taste in her mouth.
Of course she knew she was perceived as a little strange with her long lists and scheduled times. Even her own siblings made comments on her constant need to wanting to know everything. It kept her sane since she had started university and was the only security she knew that would keep her from losing whatever sanity she had left since the fake dating conundrum.
"Clearly we need to work on it." [Name] comments as she takes a bite of her breakfast, doing her best to avoid anyone's faces, even after she heard Benji groan.
"Please, no. That was so gruelling. Not to mention long. It didn't even work last night."
This time, [Name] sent a burning look to Benji. "Next time I'll just stay quiet then instead of trying to save our asses since my effort trying to keep up this little ruse is all one sided." She says, her voice icy before taking another bite of her breakfast.
The room stilled for a moment. In any other situation, [Name] would have done something like walk away or apologize for ruining the mood. It was too early in the morning for her to be in a hurry to alleviate the tension so she had let her anger be known as she ate in furied silence.
All that was heard was the clanking of the utensils against the plate. Glancing to her other side, even Chiara was eating silently, which was never the case even during moments [Name]'s patience was worn thin. Benji was tense beside her, glancing at her every now and then as be bit into his breakfast.
By the time she finished her plate, she announced that she would be gathering her things in her room and that her and Chiara had to get home. She spent the remainder of her time in the guest room, gathering her items before a knock could be heard.
Chiara stepped in, offering a sober smile as a peace offering. "Thanks for coming to get me."
"That's what friends do." [Name] says as she pulls her sweater over her shirt - Benji's shirt. It almost fit her too well, as if Benji had outgrown it long ago.
His suggestion to bring it home with her last night rang through her head, though she wasn't quite ready to broadcast that she had not only stayed over at his place but also insinuated something to imply she had to wear a change of clothes.
"You know," Chiara starts, settling on the pristine mattress. For an apartment full of boys, they had done well to keep the area decorated and clean. The guest room hadn't a single speck of dust and the sheets smelled like lavender and linen. "I'm sure Ben was just teasing earlier."
"Does teasing also mean hinting that I'm a Class A bore? Aeron Bracken already made me aware of my plight for some time now - and with everyone - and I don't need any more reminders."
Aeron, with all his obsession in wanting to make [Name]'s shifts a living hell, was also a perpetrator for gossip on campus. She knew it had been him who started the insulting stories about her being so boring, she most likely was the only virgin left on campus.
Not that it had been his business, or anyone's for that matter.
"He hadn't meant it that way." Chiara says but [Name] continued to fold her items with tempered patience. "Just that... You know..."
"No, I don't know what you mean, Chiara." [Name] challenges.
Chiara sighs as she lays down on the bed. "Don't take this the wrong way - I love you and you have your reasons to be so distant with men but you have a habit of being guarded with them even during friendly fire."
[Name] only sent her a look of caution. She hadn't been wrong; throughout [Name]'s 20 years of being alive, she hadn't had the best with talking to men. She did her best to limit her experience, subconsciously or not she wasn't sure anymore but every interaction she's had since then had always ended with her being short with them or just keeping conversations short.
Until with Benji, that is. The stories about him were just half truths from how he actually was. With all the rough edges and harshness he harbors, an equal amount of kindness is what she seems more often than not when they're around each other. Between the both of them, [Name] would have to admit she was more talkative than him since they had gotten more friendly with one another.
Sometimes she would even poke at him to see how much it would take him to show that callousness he oh so had. Nothing concerning ever came out of it besides him teasing her endlessly but it wasn't geared toward anything about her insecurities the way he had earlier.
She gnawed at her lip as she thought about this morning again. Chiara was looking at her expectantly, waiting for a response. [Name] only gave an answer by shoving her clothes under her arm and saying, "Come on, I have half a day off and I'd rather not spend it at a stranger's home."
"Technically this is your boyfriend's home so it shouldn't be awkward."
[Name] rolled her eyes, ready to remind her that Benji was technically not her boyfriend before she spied Oscar standing by her door from the corner of her eye. "You aren't working all day today?"
"Miracle, isn't it?" Chiara comments. "Looks like Rhaenyra finally wants her employee of the month to finally take a break."
"I'm her only employee?" [Name] counters, earning a raspberry blown her way. Oscar straightens himself in excitement.
"You should come to our bonfire tonight. We don't do much, just sit around a fire and talk. Sometimes we take night swims if enough of us bring something to swim in." He offers, making Chiara jump up from the bed.
She shakes [Name]'s arm, who nearly dropped the spare clothes under her arms. "We'd love to go!" [Name] opens her mouth in protest, but is stopped when Chiara continues to speak. "[Name], come on. It'll be fun."
Kermit and Benji stroll in, watching as the brunette practically begs [Name]. She bites at her lip, glancing at the three men just outside the door, her eyes meeting Benji's. He was hard to read at the moment, anticipation only tracing his face as he waits for her answer.
Her gaze cuts back down to her feet for a moment, trying to decide if meeting them at the beach was a good idea or if it was going to be as awkward as it was right now. Benji was the first to speak up.
"How about you sit on it and you can let us know later? Besides, the beach isn't just meant for us. You can even go there tonight and not have to be around us the whole night." He suggests, the idea calming her nerves a bit as she nods in response. Benji nods back, as if there was a mutual understanding only they both knew about.
Chiara smiles. "I don't hear a no. We'll need to go now, then; can't stay around here all day smelling like booze and with ruined makeup." She comments as she walks out the door, [Name] trailing behind her.
[Name] offers a quick thank you before leaving, doing her best to avoid Benji's burning gaze as she steps out the door and watches her retreat into the crisp morning air of King's Landing.
The afternoon shift at Nyra's Nook was mediocre at best. [Name] had done inventory on new books that arrived the day before and reset any books that had strewn about (though she wasn't sure it made a difference with how majority of the books stacked one another along the shelves anyways).
She had been in the middle of counting the till before she finished her shift when Jace had walked in, ready to relieve her. An amused look fell on his face and [Name] had already known what he was going to say.
"Don't--" She starts, but Jace had beaten her to the punch.
"Quite a ruckus happened last night, according to my sources." He comments as he walks behind the counter. [Name] rolls her eyes. Sources meaning Cregan Stark. "Who knew our very own [Name] could pack a punch."
"It was not a punch. It was a bitch slap." [Name] corrects, earning a howl of laughter from Jace. She slapped his chest. "You can either help me clear the items off this counter while I count or you can walk away before I tell Syrax to sic you."
Jace shakes his, though he cast a glance at his mother's cat, who had a clear favorite among the two as she sidled herself beside [Name], who adjusted the large pink bow attached to her. He does as he told, removing new books out of the last box she hadn't been able to finish.
They worked in silence for a moment, giving a bit of respite in his teasing. Jacaerys Velaryon, in all his popularity and golden boy image, was most definitely raised by his mother. He was kind and hadn't minded others opinions too much like [Name].
He kept a good head on his shoulder whenever something went awry, which was a good thing to have whenever [Name] had to deal with people who weren't on their best behavior, at work or on the rare days he wasn't at football practice and was walking around campus.
They weren't close, so to speak, but he had been more or less been like a brother to [Name] whenever he was around. Always teasing her but without any nasty intentions.
"Its good you slapped him, by the way. Aeron Bracken." Jace comments, his nose wrinkling as he mentioned his name.
"This wouldn't have anything to do with your little feud with your family, would it?" [Name] asked, recalling his family drama.
Jace shakes his head. "I mean, the Brackens are technically in partnership with our family in some way, just not us. So to speak." He tries to explain, but [Name]'s blank stare urged him to broach the real subject. "No, I went to school with Aeron and Ben."
[Name] blinked at him, shocked at the news. Of course, it had made sense. Benji had been only a year older than her and if she thought hard enough, so was Jace. She never knew to try and connect the dots until now.
"They were both hot tempered and made the school year interesting, but between the two, Aeron was more cruel. Ben only retaliated in the way he knew, by being as vicious as he needed. But he never took things far the way Aeron had." Jace explains, adding the last part as if remembering he was talking to Benji's girlfriend.
[Name] nods, attempting to not seem interested but she was. Benji's life before he attended Crownlands Imperial College was shrouded in a mystery she didn't wish to press him for. The only information she heard about Benji before college was from Chiara and unrelated stories of his past he had mentioned to her before.
"Why do you think he changed all of a sudden?" She asked Jace, referring to Benji's sudden subdued behavior when he started university.
Jace hums, thinking deeply for a moment before he shrugged. "No clue. He almost felt like a ghost, though. Like he was here but not really. Ben wasn't ever like that before and well, he doesn't seem like that now that you've been seeing each other."
[Name] frowned, not quite understanding the sentence but knew better than to question it at the moment. Maybe Benji had a change of heart in his behavior lately; she could hardly believe she would influence anyones sudden outlook in life that quickly.
But then again, Benji was more sensitive than she was at times; breakfast was enough of an indication that at the very least he felt a sense of guilt. Guilt swept her up as well, the anger from this morning having subsided on her walk back home.
She petted Syrax as she thought on Oscar's offer about coming to the beach. After a moment, she found herself pulling out her phone and texting Chiara that she still wanted to go to the beach but wouldn't bother swimming.
The only response she received was a set of heart and wave of emojis, to which she let a small laugh at. Jace had made sure to spot this as he continued to work.
"Did you have fun afterwards?" He asked, smirking over at [Name]. She blinked at him for a moment before understanding the suggestive question.
"What happened after that public display of violence is none of your business." [Name] responds back, face bright red. "Besides, the Tullys and Chiara were with us..."
Jace snorts. "That's never stopped me before."
At this mentioned, [Name] rolls her eyes. "That's because you're a manwhore--"
She hadn't the opportunity to finish the sentence as Jace had covered her mouth the minute Rhaenyra walked out from her office.
The car ride to the beach nearly gave [Name] a heart attack. Chiara had her license for more than four years, though [Name] was sure her friend only used it for less than a year with how recklessly she had just driven them.
[Name] let out a sigh of relief once her feet made contact with the ground, glaring at a nonchalant Chiara who only said , "What?" before walking toward a small group of people surrounding a fire.
Kermit had been the first to spot them, running up to Chiara and helping her offload the chairs on her as she carefully held the booze she had brought for that evening. Oscar and Benji walked over to them, taking any heavy bags from [Name] as well.
"Looking a little green there, [Name]." Oscar teases.
"I'll throw up on you." [Name] threatens, feigning to lurch forward and a sense of satisfaction rolling off her as Oscar lets our a shriek in terror.
Kermit and Chiara trail after him, the older of the Tully brothers grumbling about his brother being too loud. Benji puts a hand on her shoulder, stopping them from moving to allow a safe enough distance from their friends.
They look at each other and for a moment, the crashing waves and laughter being swallowed around them. [Name] feels as if she couldn't breathe from how long they stood in front of each other, though she couldn't pull her eyes from his as they try to read each other.
Slinging her bag around himself, Benji pulls [Name] to him by her waist, nearly hugging her to him as he settles his head against her own. Faintly, she felt her stomach flutter at the gesture but spies a few prying eyes from the bonfire. She lets her rigid back soften slightly, leaning into Benji's side hug before he leads her toward the group, her hand fiddling with the end of his shirt as they moved.
"How was work?" Benji asks when they walk.
"Good." She responds back. The walk to the bonfire felt like a million miles away. The morning of their disagreement hung between them and [Name] did her best to swallow down any nervousness before it shook her whole body. "How was your's?"
Benji nods along in deep thought, as if trying to remember the fog of his shift at the downtown tattoo parlor today. "Could have been better but we're here now right?"
There was a double meaning behind that sentence, one only [Name] could understand. An allusion to what happened this morning, as if to say Let's not worry about it anymore. Gods if they really were going out, [Name] certainly didn't deserve someone as understanding as Benji.
His eyes cast at the group in front of them, spying something far ahead before moving away from her. "Do you want a beer?"
[Name] nods, settling down a log and letting the fire warm her legs as she watches the orange and pink hues of the sky beating down slowly. Her eyes train over to Chiara, who seems to being having a fun time with Benji's friends.
She seemed to fit right in, with her boisterous laughing and big smiles as Oscar and another one of his friends, Martyn Whent, threw a frisbee around. [Name] smiles at her friend, remembering how much she thrived around being near other people.
"She's very extroverted, your friend." A soft voice says from her right. [Name] turns, her stomach doing an uncomfortable flip as she makes looks up at Ulla Greyjoy.
Up close, Ulla was even more gorgeous. Her black hair was in a windswept ponytail, all the baby hairs jutting out this way and that but she looked as if she just stepped out of a magazine cover. She had makeup on and not a smudge was found on her sharp eyeliner. She had chosen a black tube top and denim shorts that were unzipped to reveal her black bikini.
In layman's words, Ulla looked hot.
"Yeah, Chiara loves people." [Name] comments, moving aside when Ulla takes seat next to her.
The dark haired girl nods. "I can tell; I'm not great at it so I'm a bit jealous."
Nodding, they continue to watch Chiara strike up a conversation from one person to another as they slowly start to grow a circle of frisbee players. At first [Name] used to be envious of Chiara when they had initially been roommates from how well she was able to fit in with a crowd so well.
After some time with her, though, it developed more into admiration from how observant Chiara was. She had been the one to invite [Name] out and made sure she knew just about everything happening at the school. Even today, she had made sure to ask [Name] if she was really okay with the outing before they left.
Jealousy was a feeling she understood but did her best to not take over as she knows she can't force herself to be social the same way Chiara can't force herself to enjoy seclusion the way [Name] did.
She did her best to not contemplate too much and was a but grateful when Ulla continues speaking. "I was a but surprised when I heard you were coming. From all the things I heard, I thought you weren't really the social type."
"I'm not very social," [Name] admits. "But that doesn't really eliminate the fact I want to go out and meet some people."
Ulla nods. "Does that happen often with you and Ben?"
"What do you mean?"
She nods toward Benji, who was unceremoniously stuck between a few people by the cooler, nodding along and laughing at a joke someone said. Benji's all black t-shirt and denim shorts getup was nearly matching Ulla's own outfit. The thought made [Name] tug at the skirt of her pink sundress.
Ulla offered a tight lipped smile. "Its just, I've never seen you two out before besides on campus. Do you guys go on dates or anything? He certainly took me out often after..."
She pauses for a moment, clearly knowing she spoke too much and showed it from the way she offered a faux smile and looked away. A bubble of irritation rises in [Name] as she realizes what was happening. She hadn't cared too much about what Benji did in the past or his off time - after all, this was an arrangement that was only a couple of weeks long - but she knew when she was being made to look like an idiot.
"We go on dates; granted its not every time something happens but I guess that's just the benefit of doing more than sleeping with each other." [Name] says with narrowed eyes, watching as Ulla regarded her with faint surprise before morphing it into overplayed shock.
"I wasn't insuating anything like that--"
"Then what were you insinuating? You're a grown woman, Benji's a grown man. That's not something new, especially at university. As long as it isn't happening now, then I don't really care about Benji's dating history, no matter how questionable that person is." [Name] says, leaning against her palm to look at the dark haired girl.
Ulla regarded her with a calculated stare and [Name] held it with as much intensity. She's had her round of bullies this year. Aeron was easy enough to deal with. She always fought him off whenever he bothered her but the slap and this morning had seemed to have given her a healthy reminder that she can't always plan things ahead of time.
Their stare off at had come to a head when another dark haired girl walked up to them, settling on [Name]'s other side as she says, "Trying to scare off more girls from this group, Greyjoy?"
Turning her head, [Name] met another pair of familiar brown eyes, though it was more intense and they narrowed to an obvious distaste for the other girl in front of her. Her pitch black hair was tied into a bun but she was still just as pretty as Ulla.
Ulla doesn't say a word as she gets up from her spot, sauntering off to the other side of the firepit.
The new dark haired girl turns to [Name], all hostility gone from her face as she says, "Ignore her; she's all bark, no bite. She's also just upset her newest toy lost interest in her before she had her fun. Not to mention, I'm sure you scared her off a bit with that response. Ulla wants to chase off any competition in this group. Not there's anything to scope out with these idiots."
Taking a glance around the men in their wake, [Name] lets out a chuckle in agreement as she spots Martyn and Kermit wrestling in the far distance. For a moment she envisons her brothers back home, who always tussled about with each other that way. "Yeah, you're right, I guess."
"I'm Alysanne Blackwood. Or Aly. I'm Benji's cousin - well, technically aunt but we're only two years apart so it doesn't make much of a difference." The girl tries to explain, taking a sip of beer in her hand. "And you're Benji's girlfriend. [Name], right? Cregan told me about you from last night."
[Name] groaned. Of all people, she hadn't expected Cregan to be so loose lipped. "Does everybody know about last night?"
"I'd wager yes. That was epic. I wish I was there. I'd do anything to see a Bracken get knocked down a few pegs." Aly comments. "Whatever Ulla said to you, don't worry too much. They did have something going on but it was short lived and she's just bitter someone managed to break Benji down before she did."
[Name] raised an eyebrow. "You mean his no dating streak?"
Aly confirms with a smile. "The most he did was sneak around with Ulla and a few girls a couple of months the first year before completely cutting any kind of woman off. Imagine my surprise when I hear from Oscar and Kermit say he started dating a girl whose head isn't full of logs."
"Any particular reason why he decided to do all of that and suddenly break it?" [Name] asked, watching as Aly's face fell slightly.
"I think its up to Benji to talk about that." She says. [Name] takes that as a sign to be patient and wait.
"Fair enough." [Name] says, recalling her own secrets she wants to hold close. "If its any consolation, us dating was a complete accident."
"Yeah?" Aly asked, frowning. "How'd you two meet?"
"At Nyra's shop." A voice from behind them interrupts. Benji sits at the spot Ulla had sat from - a good thing so she could finally swipe that memory of her in exchange for him. Benji hands her a beer, the condensation from the cold bottle running between her fingertips as she takes a sip. He falls easily into their story as she fiddles with the ring on his finger. "I thought she was too pretty and pink for her to take a chance on me but I couldn't resist."
She feels his lips touch the crown of her head, a silent signal for her to say its her turn now. "I thought he was a mute so I didn't really notice him."
Benji's lip twitches in amusement. It hadn't been a complete lie - she really had thought he was a mute the first couple of months they interacted until she heard him garble out a quiet "thank you" on a random evening. It had nearly frightened her, thinking a spirit had made itself known. It had been an embarrassing story to admit but Benji had thought the story was amusing enough.
"You're the most reasonable person in the world and you think a ghost is more likely to show up than me talking?" He had asked her that day. They had gone to the diner for another late night study "date".
"Well excuse me for not realizing you were weren't verbally impaired!" She shot back, nearly falling off her spot on the leather seats from laughing with him. They had gotten absolutely nothing done that night.
"He dropped a few books on my hands when neither of us were looking and apologized after I screamed. He asked me out to dinner as a way to make up for nearly cutting my fingers off." [Name] said, peeking at Benji as she jokes.
"Now you're just being dramatic."
"Fine, my circulation cut off. But still a bit bold to ask someone during a shift."
"You clearly liked it if we're still together." Benji teases, leaning his tall frame over her.
Their noses brushed against each from how close they were and [Name] felt her heart race when she had thought he was going to kiss her on the lips. Her gaze stayed on his lips for a moment before she glanced up at him, realizing her had been staring at her the entire time.
She swallows thickly, hiding it away her nervousness by moving away and pressing her lips against his cheek to avoid any confusion. Her gaze tore to the burning wood afterward, not wanting to meet Benji's eyes.
What was that? She wanted to ask him. Had he wanted to kiss her or was she thinking too much on it? She wasn't sure. She couldn't inquire too much anyways, not with his own cousin (aunt?) right next to them. If Aly suspected anything, though, she hadn't said a thing, smiling at the pair before walking off with the excuse to help Chiara win against Kermit and Oscar, who were well known cheats at frisbee.
Now it had just the two of them, staring at the fire since it was better than looking at each other. The crackle of the fire was the only noise she could hear, conversations around them drowning out as she realized that had been the first time she's ever had to make a move since they first started fake dating.
And for some reason she wanted to do it again soon. It must be the beer, she thinks. Still, it doesn't stop her from taking two gulps to possibly help numb that though.
"Fancy a walk?" Benji asks suddenly, the low baritone of his voice breaking their barrier of silence, making her jump a bit. An amused smile plays his lips at the action, making [Name]'s stomach turn again. She tales another sip of the beer. Then nods after a moment.
"Sure."
He holds out a hand for her to take as they walk a far enough distance from everyone else. Distantly, one of his friends makes an innuendo about straying far enough to do something. [Name] does her best to ignore the comment as Benji turns around and screams at him to get his head out of his ass while sticking a middle finger up.
"I'm sorry about them; they're all from the Riverlands like me. Formalities aren't our strongest suit." Benji explains with a laugh.
[Name] shakes her head. "No, its fine. I like them. They remind me of home."
"Oh yeah? How was life like at home for you?"
"Too many men." [Name] all but comments, chuckling with Benji before continuing. "I have two older brothers and two younger brothers between me and my older sister. We grew up closer to Dorne - formalities are different for us too."
Benji whistles. "And I thought my family was large..."
"There was never a moment of peace with the lot of them." [Name] comments, grinning. "I thought getting away from the noise at school would do me some good but I miss them a lot. Seeing your friends act like that made me a little less homesick. Thanks for inviting me."
"Not a problem. You are always welcome to come, homesick or not." Benji offers, smiling at her. His eyes turn a bit solemn, a thought pulling him away briefly. "And... I'm sorry for not realizing I was going to far this morning."
He looks away, eyes downcast to where the water lulls against the sand, as if ready to receive a scolding from [Name]. She found herself lost again, wondering how many versions of Benji she had seen so far. He was a bit more like what the person she initially met today - gruff and a little mean spirited but whatever edges he sharpened was subsequently dulled (sometimes a little too late but they dulled nonetheless) whenever she was around.
The thought of him being able to let his guard down around her sent a warmth in her chest. She squeezed his hand to signal for him to look at her. "I'm sorry too," She concedes. "I'm not very good when I have to say I'm uncomfortable. And I have little patience when it comes to teasing - my brothers knew of it and did everything they could to push my buttons until they take things too far. I know you didn't intend that so you shouldn't have gotten the brunt of my anger this morning." Benji nods in understanding. "Plus I didn't get to eat a proper dinner yesterday so I was just downright starving that morning."
Benji stops for a brief moment, the cold ocean washing over their feet and lets out a laugh. The orange hue from the sun casted a golden glow to his face and for a moment [Name] felt that same gut twisting feeling in her stomach again. She did her best to neutralize her face as she had unwittingly thought that Benjicot Blackwood was the most handsome man she has ever met.
"I'll make sure you've had a full meal before I try anything next time." Benji jokes but the promise was there: he wouldn't push her anymore than he had this morning.
"Good. I'll be less snappy next disagreement." [Name] replies in return before sighing. She looked back at the group, just mere ants from the distance they stood in. Her feet had grown tired and frankly, she wanted to stay alone with Benji for as long as possible.
So, she settled down on the sand, just a few feet from the wading water. Benji followed suit, settling beside her in the sand. They both take sips of their beers before [Name] says, "Tell me about your family... Are they as noisy as mine?"
Benji grins. "Oh, trust me. They're all a bit mad, honestly. But you'd love them..."
They spent the rest of the afternoon talking about their families, their jobs, and everything in between. For that time, nothing really mattered to [Name]. Aeron, Ulla, everyone who had seemed to enjoy circulating their romance - none of that seemed to have mattered when it was just her and Benji sitting in the wet sand, drunkenly laughing at stories that weren't that funny.
Though, [Name] thought, she didn't mind the joke not being funny if it was Benji.

MASTER LIST
Chapter Eight
The gentle touch of his fingers on your cheek woke you and, for a few seconds, you weren’t sure where you were. Billy was crouched in front of you, smiling softly. Your eyes threatened to close again, feeling exhausted and like all of it was just a dream.
“Hey,” he muttered softly, his fingers still tenderly caressing your cheek. “Are you okay?”
Finally, you managed to wake yourself up enough to realise that you weren’t dreaming, and that you’d fallen asleep on the sofa beneath the yellow blanket Billy had bought for you.
“I’m fine, just tired,” you told him, slowly sitting up.
Billy remained crouched in front of you, tenderly cupping your cheek and looking almost concerned.
“Did you draw too much blood again?”
“No, it's not that. I did that hours ago. I'm just really tired.”
“Just tired?” He pressed the back of his cold hand to your forehead, checking your temperature.
“And my head hurts a little.”
“When is, uh -” he hesitated, almost looking uncharacteristically embarrassed, “- when is your next period due?”
Your cheeks warmed with both the realisation and the fact that Billy had figured it out before you. That was why you felt so awful. “Soon, I think? I-I lost track of the days after I moved in,” you explained, “and I've never been very, uh… regular…”
Thankfully, Billy just nodded and sat himself beside you, an arm around you pulling you into his side.
“Do you need to go lay down?”
“No I - I want to spend time with you,” you told him, resting your head on his shoulder. “We didn't really get to finish talking last night…”
“Was there something else you wanted to say or ask?” Billy asked softly, shifting a little so you could get comfortable against him.
You stayed silent for a few moments, thinking over all of the things you wanted to ask, wondering what you had the right to ask. “What causes it? What makes you feel like everything is... too much? I’ve only ever seen a vampire lose control from hunger...”
“Sometimes it’s hunger,” he offered reluctantly, “other times it’s just... I don’t know. Even before I was turned, I was never any good at controlling my emotions. And, now, I feel like I’m constantly fighting myself. When I’m with you, I feel like I’m drowning. Everything about you; your scent, the taste of your blood, the way your heart races... it’s a lot to try and ignore.”
Although the words were spoken to you, about you, you knew better than to read too much into them. It was the constant proximity, he probably felt that way around any human after enough time. It wasn’t because he felt anything for you.
“That sounds exhausting.”
“It is,” he admitted, waiting for a beat before asking; “why did you apologise? I lost control but you apologised.”
“Because I -” you stopped yourself before the lie managed to leave your lips. It hadn’t been your fault, as difficult as it was for you to accept that fact, you knew it was true. “Because I’ve always been made to feel like it’s my fault when bad things happen to me. The night we met, you asked me what I was running from, and that’s part of it; I was raised to feel ashamed and believe I deserved everything bad that happened to me.”
You heard him inhale sharply before he pressed a kiss to the top of your head. He was silent a moment before speaking again.
“Who left you?” He asked softly. You lifted your head, frowning. “Last night when you asked why I was leaving you it just… you sounded hurt, like someone had left you before…”
“My sister,” you answered, “she left home when she was eighteen and my parents disowned her because of it. She said she'd come back for me, but she never did.”
“Why did she leave?”
“My parents wanted her to marry a guy she didn’t want to marry.”
“Is that why you left?” He asked and immediately seemed to regret it when your gaze dropped. “Sorry, you don’t have to answer that.”
A moment later, you snuggled back into his side and closed your eyes. “How long until you have to go to work?”
“I can stay another twenty minutes,” he told you softly, slipping his arm around you. He was silent for a few minutes, before letting out a slow exhale. “I’m not going to be able to see you for a few days, it’s not safe for me to be around you while you’re...”
He didn’t have to say it for you to understand and, as much as you wanted to argue with him, you knew it wouldn’t be fair to try and force the issue. Now that you had some idea of how he felt and how much of a struggle it was for him to be around you sometimes, you knew Billy needed space.
“It’s okay, I understand.”
You stayed that way for another twenty-five minutes until you gently reminded Billy that he was going to be late for work. He didn’t seem to want to leave you and it made your heart ache to think about why that might be. Though, rationally, you understood that it wasn’t you; he was just tired. You were finally starting to understand just how difficult and exhausting it was for him just to get through a day.
He gave you a soft kiss and told you that he’d see you again soon.
The next morning when you woke up cramping and feeling terrible, until you found that he’d left a gift basket in your kitchen, filled with things you might need over the coming days; painkillers, chocolates, a new smart-watch with a cycle tracking app, a heating-pad, various toiletries and a large teddy bear with a note pinned to his chest.
I thought you and Bill the Beagle might want some company.
Take care of yourself. I’ll see you soon.
B.
Butterflies filled your stomach at the thoughtfulness of the gifts and, later that afternoon, when you left blood for him, you couldn’t resist leaving him a note of your own.
Thank you for your considerate gifts. William the Bear is a wonderful addition to my growing stuffie collection and the chocolates were lovely. Hope you have a good night at work.
xoxo
The next day you felt even worse but, again, you were pleasantly surprised when you managed to drag yourself to the kitchen to get breakfast and some coffee. There was another box of chocolates and another note waiting for you.
William is a terrible name for a bear. I didn’t expect you to get through the chocolates so quickly, remind me to stock up next month. I hope you’ve not been watching Black Sails without me.
Take care
B.
And, of course - of course - you had to reply, leaving your note with his blood again.
I happen to like the name William. I think it suits him. He looks like a William. I hope you’re not trying to shame me for enjoying the chocolates, truffles and caramels are my weakness. Don’t worry, I’ve not been watching anything without you, I’ve been reading. You were right, Jane Eyre was a very apt choice.
xoxo
His notes became your reason to get up in the morning, though they were a bittersweet reminder of his noticeable absence in your life. It filled you with a strange yearning and an uncomfortable sadness to think about him out there on his own. But that was a silly thought. You didn’t know anything about his life outside of the penthouse, about his work or his friends, maybe he wasn’t even noticing your absence.
(Or maybe he felt it just as much as you did.)
Okay, I have to ask; what does a William look like? Of course I’d never shame you for enjoying the chocolates, but now you’ve told me your weakness I might have to use it to my advantage. I hope you’re enjoying Jane Eyre more than you enjoyed Dorian Gray.
I hope you’re not feeling too bad. I miss our talks.
B.
Your heart stuttered as you read and reread those four little words; I miss our talks. He missed you. Maybe not quite in the same way that you were missing him but, still, it made you long for him even more.
Well, in my experience Williams tend to be cute and cuddly, even though they look a little dark and brooding at first glance. Oh no! Please don’t use my weakness for chocolate truffles against me!!! (The extra exclamation marks are so you read that in a sarcastic tone.) Yes, I think I like Jane Eyre more than Dorian Gray - Mr Rochester kind of reminds me of you.
I’m feeling a bit better today, I should be fine in a couple of days. I miss spending time with you too. I hope you’re not too lonely without me around.
xoxo
You doodled a little picture of the teddy bear he’d given you on the corner of the note but gave him a grumpy looking face and a tag that read ‘my name is William’.
There was a strange feeling of embarrassment when you left the note and you almost changed your mind about it halfway back to your room, and you spent the rest of the evening wondering if it was a little too much.
So, the next morning, you felt a little reluctant to go into the kitchen, and had to take a deep breath before reading his note.
Dark and brooding?? I think you might have to elaborate, but I’ll let you save that for when I see you next. I hope that there will come a point in the book where Mr Rochester doesn’t remind you of me quite so much (I don’t know where you’re up to and I don’t want to spoil it).
I’m glad you’re feeling better. The penthouse isn’t the same without you. It’s strange, you’ve only been here a couple of months yet and it already feels empty without you. I miss you.
B.
P.S. Is the doodle supposed to be me or the stuffie?
It felt like your head was spinning as you read, reread, and read again.
He missed you.
Billy missed you.
You spent half the day writing and rewriting your note to him, in one attempt confessing your feelings, in another acting completely blaise about his confession. Nothing you came up with felt right but the thought of not replying seemed worse.
I see what you mean about Mr Rochester... though I don’t know if I can completely rule out the possibility of you having a strange woman tucked away somewhere in the penthouse. It would certainly explain where all of the chocolates have been going.
I miss you too. I know what you mean, I feel the same way, like I’ve been here longer. But I suppose that’s how things feel when you get close to someone. Hope to see you tomorrow.
xoxo
P.S. I’ll never tell. An artist never reveals her secrets.
There was no end to your relief the next morning when you woke up finally feeling better, knowing that you’d be able to see Billy again. Part of you expected not to find a note, but there it was, waiting for you on your kitchen table, just like the others had been.
I can think of a less mysterious explanation for the disappearance of your chocolates, little hummingbird.
I’m not used to missing people. I’m not used to being close to them either. Some days I feel like my whole life has turned upside down since I met you. I can’t wait to see you again.
B.
P.S. I think it’s magicians that never reveal their secrets, not artists.
Again, he left you searching for deeper meaning in every word, your heart aching for a man who seemed so lonely and alone, a man who didn’t deserve that life at all.
After breakfast you showered and washed your hair, wanting to look your best when you saw him again.
Slowly but surely, over the course of the day, your nerves started to eat away at you; what were you going to say to him? Were you going to pretend that the notes hadn’t happened and that their contents was just idle talk to help the other feel less alone?
You couldn’t sit still as you waited, counting down the hours before sunset, perched on the edge of the sofa and watching his door. The moment it started to open, you were on your feet.
Before he had the chance to even realise that you were there, you’d cleared the distance between you, throwing your arms around his waist and pressing your face against his chest. Billy let out a breath but, for the life of you, you couldn’t tell if it was a sigh of relief or simply because you were squeezing the air from his lungs.
“Hey,” he muttered, his arm slipping around you and holding you almost as tight as you were holding him.
A minute or two passed, neither of you moving or saying anything, until he pressed a kiss to the top of your head and your grip on him started to loosen. You didn’t pull away, but gave yourself enough space to look up at him, smiling shyly as your cheeks started to warm.
“Hi.”
“Hi, hummingbird.”
Neither of you seemed to know what to do or where you were supposed to go from there so, again, you both fell silent, still holding each other. Finally, you dared to reach for him, placing your hand on his cheek. His eyes closed and he leaned into your touch, and butterflies began to swarm in your stomach. Before you could talk yourself out of it, you lifted onto your tiptoes and pressed your lips to his.
It was a soft, chaste kiss, nothing at all compared to some of the kisses that you’d shared, but you felt his lips pull into a smile against yours before his eyes finally opened again.
“I missed you,” he admitted in little more than a whisper.
His hand moved to rest on your neck and you found yourself glad of his cold touch after what seemed like so long without it.
“I missed you too,” you confessed, “I - I missed you more than I probably should have.”
If Billy understood what you were trying to tell him, he didn’t show it. Instead, he just shook his head and smiled before kissing you again.
You sank against him letting him deepen the kiss and turn it into something else, something new. Normally when he kissed you it felt explosive and desperate, like he was laying claim to you, but this kiss was tender and filled with longing, like he was savouring being with you again. It stole the breath from your lungs.
“I missed you,” he muttered again.
“You already said that.”
“I know, I just -” his head shook, and he let out a huffed laugh, “- this has felt like one of the longest weeks of my life.”
“Have you been okay? Was it -” you hesitated, not sure you wanted to ask the question, “- was it easier without me around?”
Billy pulled back a little, frowning. “Why would it be easier?”
“The other night, you said you feel like you’re drowning when you’re with me,” you shrugged a little, letting your gaze drop for a moment.
Before the notes, you’d assumed that everyone made him feel that way, that it was just part of being a vampire for him. But, now, after his last note and after that kiss, part of you longed for him to admit that it was more, that it was you, that he felt something for you, that he cared.
“I was wrong,” he told you, waiting until you looked up again to continue, “I feel like I’m drowning without you.”
“Oh.” Whatever you’d expected, it hadn’t been that.
“It’s a lot. I know it’s a lot -”
“No,” you shook your head, “no, it’s not.”
“I wish I could’ve met you in another life. I wish it wasn’t like this.”
The words caused your chest to ache, understand what he was saying and why because you felt the same way; the situation was a mess and all either of you could do was make the best of it.
There was more you could say - more you wanted to say - but it didn’t feel like the right time, and it wasn’t fair for you to try and push anything when you had every intention of leaving him once you’d finished your year. So, instead, you pressed yourself against him and hugged him tight.
Once you’d managed to pull away from each other, you spent the next hour sitting with him on the sofa, talking while he drank, trading gentle touches and kisses until he needed to leave. You followed him to the elevator, not sure if he was keeping hold of your hand or if it was the other way around.
It took a couple of weeks for things to start to return to some sort of normal between you.
Karen noticed the first time she saw you, mentioning that you seemed distracted as you walked through Central Park together (thankfully with no sign of Madani in sight), but she didn’t bring it up until you were sitting together a week later, having lunch in a little coffee shop.
“Is everything alright with you and Billy?” She asked, deciding to just go for it.
“Yeah, it’s fine,” you answered. And it was fine. You were happy. You just could stop thinking about what he’d said to you and how you wished that things could be just a little bit different so you could both be happy.
“I know Billy’s my friend and you don’t really know me all that well, but you can talk to me if something’s bothering you. Or if he’s done something to bother you.”
There was something in her voice, something knowing that you really didn’t like. But how could she know what was going on with you and Billy, when you didn’t even know yourself?
“Everything’s fine, honestly. It’s great, actually. We’ve been really getting on lately; we’ve been hanging out talking about books and I’ve been making him watch Black Sail on Netflix,” you told her.
Karen nodded, though it didn’t look like she believed you, but she let it drop, leaving you with the sneaking suspicion that she knew a little more about the way Billy was than she wanted to let on.
Your quiet evenings with Billy slowly started to become a little more physical again, though neither of you seemed in a rush to try and push for sex again. Instead, most evenings he’d end up with his head between your thighs, or you’d slip your hand into his pants while you made out. And, even though you found yourself longing for more, you didn’t want to push him. No, you wanted to take things slowly, wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t get overwhelmed again before you took that next step.
Time seemed to fly by and it wasn’t long before the whole penthouse was being turned upside down in anticipation of Billy’s big party; live music, caterers, decorators and, of course, more blood than you felt comfortable seeing in one place. The whole place was transformed over the course of three days and, when the night finally came, you felt almost sick with nerves.
Even Billy had a strange energy about him, checking and double checking every little thing, including a security team from his company whose presence he seemed reluctant to explain to you. You watched from the sofa as he led them around the apartment, explaining where he wanted them and which areas of the penthouse were off-limits. He introduced you to one of them, a human man called Curtis who would be spending the night near the door to your quarters if you needed any help during the night (and, again, Billy didn’t explain what that meant).
A couple of hours before the guests were due to arrive, you went to shower and draw blood before doing your hair and makeup, and getting changed into your dress and shoes. For a few minutes you found yourself staring at your reflection, hoping to find some of the confidence you’d had that night in the dressing room with Billy.
When you stepped out into the penthouse, it only took a moment for his eyes to find you, his jaw threatening to drop as he took in the sight of you. His appearance had the same effect on you; his well tailored tux had you biting your lip.
“Wow, Russo, you really know how to pick them,” Curtis called across the penthouse, earning himself a withering look from Billy and causing your cheeks to heat.
Billy made his way towards you, not bothering to hide the way his eyes were taking in every inch of you. When he reached you, he placed a hand on your hip and kissed your cheek.
“I got you a present,” he told you, using his hand to start guiding you towards the library, pausing momentarily to tell Curtis and his team that they could go take a break before the party started.
Your heart was hammering in your chest as he led you into the library and towards the seldom used desk by the window. Waiting for you were three boxes, each beautifully wrapped in silver paper and tied with black ribbon. Without thought, you found yourself gripping Billy’s arm as your legs threatened to turn to jello beneath you.
He smiled softly, picking up the first box and handing it to you.
“Open it,” he instructed, managing to sound as excited as you felt about this whole exchange.
It felt wrong to destroy the immaculate wrapping, so you took your time, carefully untying the ribbon and peeling open the paper to get at the box. You removed the lid and there, in amongst black tissue paper was an ornate black and silver mask.
“It’s for the party tonight,” he told you when you looked at him for clarification, “we wear the masks until midnight and then take them off. It’s supposed to symbolise vampires being seen by society, but really it’s just an excuse to have fun while no one knows who you are.”
You laughed, head shaking. “Thank you, it’s beautiful.”
But he didn’t give you time to linger, gently taking the box and mask from your hand before offering you the next present, seeming to get more eager with each passing second. He was practically vibrating with excitement.
Your breath caught as you opened the second box. It was a beautiful choker style necklace with diamanté detailing - at least, you assumed that it was diamanté because you couldn’t even start to imagine how much it would have cost if they were real diamonds. For a few seconds you were lost for words.
“Here, let me,” he offered, pulling the necklace from the box before you even had the chance to answer him. Billy stepped behind you, gently draping it around your neck and fastening it for you.
Your fingers immediately reached up to touch it; it felt a little heavy around your neck and you’d never had a choker style necklace before, but the feel of it would be a constant reminder of Billy and you loved that.
“Thank you, Billy,” you finally managed, turning and wrapping your arms around him before pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“There’s one more.” He reached for the last present but seemed a little more reluctant to hand it to you.
And once you’d opened it, you understood why.
“Oh...” said somewhere between shock and confusion.
You weren’t sure what you’d been expecting, especially not after the mask and the choker, but a new sex toy certainly wasn’t it. Your cheeks heated as you looked at the box, trying to make sense of it, the words discreet and remote play only confused you more.
“I want you to wear this for the party,” he told you, a hint of nervousness in his voice, “if you want to, I mean. If it’s too much, I get it. I just - I thought we could have some fun. And there’s going to be so many people, I guess I want to know you’ll spend the night thinking about me...”
Your cheeks continued to burn, part horrified by the notion, but a much larger part couldn’t help but find the idea interesting, arousing even. And, after everything that had happened between you, part of you was still longing for more.
“You want me to spend the night thinking about you?” You asked quietly.
“More than anything,” he answered in little more than a whisper, like he knew it was something he shouldn’t say.
It felt like your heart leapt into your throat for a few seconds and you struggled to swallow around it. All you could think about was that night a couple of weeks ago, how he told you it felt like he was drowning when he wasn’t with you, and you knew that you couldn’t say no to him. (You didn’t want to say no to him.)
“Okay,” you finally answered, “how do I...?”
“Let me,” he offered, perhaps a little too eagerly, taking the box from your hand, muttering something about how he’d cleaned it and charged it ready before wrapping it.
You bit your lip, watching as he pulled the purple silicone toy out of the box, knowing that he could hear your heart pounding. Then he kissed you, slipping his tongue between your lips and enjoying you for a few moments. When he pulled back he began to trace your lips with the tip of the toy before slipping it into your mouth, causing your cheeks to burn hotter.
You watched him suck his fingers, leaving them glistening with saliva before dropping to his knees and slipping them beneath your dress and into your panties. His free hand nudged your knee and you parted your trembling legs a little further while his fingers stirred between your folds, wetting you before slowly slipping into you.
You moaned softly as his fingers slowly started to pump inside you, twisting and bending, easily finding that special spot.
Your hands gripped his shoulders, feeling like your legs were going to give out. Another soft moan escaped you when he looked up at you, holding your gaze as his fingers filled you, over and over. You clenched around him as he licked his lips, knowing that he was imagining the taste of your arousal on his tongue.
“You can come whenever you need to,” he told you, smiling up at you like he was in awe of you.
“Billy...” you moaned, your voice muffled by the toy in your mouth, hating how close you were to falling apart.
Your walls clenched and tightened around his fingers again, but you were already so wet that you couldn’t hold onto him or make him slow. There was something about all of this that seemed so obscene, so dirty, and it just made you want it ever more. His fingers hit that sweet spot one more time and it was enough to push you over the edge. Your legs started to tremble and your thighs pressed together, trying to keep his fingers inside you.
And, all the while, Billy smiled up at you.
A needy whine slipped out when he pulled away his hand, but you soon fell silent when he took the toy from your mouth. Your eyes fixed on the bookshelf behind Billy as he inserted the toy, suddenly feeling embarrassed despite everything you’d just let him do. Once he was done, he straightened your panties and made sure your dress was perfect.
Shifting your weight between your legs, you tried to get used to the feeling of the toy while Billy stood up and took out his phone.
“Let’s give it a little test,” he said with an almost mischievous grin on his lips that caused you thighs to clench. Something told you he was going to enjoy this. A lot.
A sudden whimper was pulled from you as the toy started to vibrate.
Billy’s grin grew as his finger swiped on his phone, causing the vibrations to intensify. As good as it felt, a mixture of shame and concern threatened to ruin the moment.
“What?” Billy asked, stopping the vibrations the moment he noticed your discomfort. “If it’s too much, you don’t have to do this.”
“I want to,” you answered shyly, a little embarrassed by just how much you wanted to, “It’s just... what if someone realises?”
He offered a soft smile, placing a hand on your cheek.
“They won’t,” he told you with confidence. “It’ll be too noisy for anyone to hear it, and you’ll be good; you won’t come until we’re alone together and I give you permission.”
His thumb tenderly caressed your cheek as he leaned in to kiss you, his tongue slipping between your lips and wiping away any misgivings you might have had. You wanted to do this. You wanted to give Billy the comfort of knowing that you were thinking about him all night. And you wanted to do it for yourself too. You’d wanted to have new experiences and this was definitely new for you.
“Come on,” he said, slipping his hand into yours, “let’s go have a glass of wine and wait for the guests to arrive. It’s going to be a long night...”

part 1. this is my au so don't think too much about canon lore. characters, times, events, ect... might not match but PLEASE JUST ENJOY THE STORY PLEASE JUST GIVE IT A CHANCE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASe
warning: 18+ read at your own risk. this is a dark fic loosely inspired by the tv show you. dubious content lies ahead, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
UNC Chapel Hill: September, Sophomore Year
there was nothing rafe cameron hated more than being tutored. it made him feel stupid, needing someone to explain and break down concepts that others understood easily. ward used to lose his mind trying to find rafe new tutors because in all honesty, when rafe felt cornered or helpless, he got nasty. saying the rudest things that made these well-paid, private tutors basically discard a paycheck, was one of the first times rafe ever felt true power. the first time he ever came close to knowing what his dad felt like, even though his dad had a much better reputation than rafe ever would.
rafe especially hated english. the books were boring and he could never be bothered to sumbit more than a half baked essay regarding the text. that's how he ended up in the study room in the library sitting across from you. he remembered you from class, the TA. you always sat besides prof. callahans desk and you looked younger than any TA he had ever had, probably even his age. your face was familiar but rafe couldn't put his finger on it. you were clean, you smelled good, and your nails were done which meant you had the time and money to take care of that kind of thing when most college students forget to feed themselves. you occasionally looked up from the signup sheet as the minutes ticked 5 past 3pm, where only rafe's name was signed.
"i guess we can start now." you mumbled, flipping your notebook open. "this weeks quiz is going to cover part 1 of crime and punishment. have you... started the reading?"
rafe's hard gaze bored into yours and he shook his head without another word. he was thinking about how cute and neurotic the way you had your notes organized was and how soft you spoke to him. were you scared of him? rafe was intrigued.
"okay, no biggie. we can just start there. did you check out a copy of the book?" you asked, pulling out your own copy that was bursting at the seam with sticky notes and colored tabs. again, rafe wordlessly shook his head. "good thing we're in the library. come on, let's go see if they have any left."
rafe followed close behind you, you could practically feel him breathing down your neck as you walked through rows of books before finding the one you were looking for. you showed rafe how to check a book out before returning to the study room. "okay. let's start."
you began dissecting the book from the very beginning, soft voice describing the historical context of the book. rafe was surprised at how well he was keeping up. it didn't hurt that you were cute, nose all blushed and button, scrunching up whenever you couldn't read your own handwriting in your notes. a pair of clear framed glasses sat on the bridge of your nose which you constantly adjusted due to your eyelashes hitting the glass. you had a habit of licking and biting your lips, applying lipgloss on every "brain break" as you called it. maybe all this time, all he needed was a cute tutor that he could stand looking at.
in between writing notes and flipping through the book, he caught glimpses of a "j" necklace dangling in your cleavage. did your name start with a j?
"what's your name?" rafe asked once the two of you began packing your things up. it was now 7:30 with the sun beginning to set. you told him and he repeated it under his breath.
"my friends call me bunny though." if you're bunny, who is j? you tossed your bag over your shoulder and let your hair down from the claw clip that was holding it up. it billowed over your shoulders and you tucked a few stray strands behind your ears after taking your glasses off. you weren't the shy good girl he met at the beginning of the session, no, you were different. good girl in front of everyone but he knew there was another energy in you that he wanted- no he needed to see. rafe watched you leave, staying a few steps behind, where he could comfortably watch you and before he knew it, you were jumping into the passenger side of a beat up old brown van that pulled up, and leaning over to give whoever was driving a kiss.
rafe felt a familiar, red hot anger wash over him. the first time he felt that anger was when sarah was born and ward wouldn't stop fawning over her. ward basically forgot he had a son when sarah was born which made rafe incredibly insecure. that insecurity built a home inside rafe's heart, where any little inconvenience could turn it into an ugly monster with sharp teeth and a desire to tear everything in sight into fucking pieces. this time, the monster was awakened at the reality of you having a boyfriend.
against his better judgement, rafe ran to his truck the second you took off, speeding down the road he saw you drive down. it took him a minute, but he managed to find the shitbox on wheels you were riding around in. he made sure to stay far enough away to where it didn't seem suspicious, but close enough to where he wouldn't lose you again.
he wouldn't lose you again.
he repeated that phrase to himself as he drove into jacksonville and while he parked his car a few spaces from the van in a place where your little group was fully visible. you came to the beach. there was 3 guys, 1 girl, and you. gone were your leggings, tank top, and cardigan. instead, you donned a pair of cutoff jean shorts, a bikini top, and a huge smile on your face as you settled yourself in the blonde boys lap.
rafe thought he recognized the group you were with, but he was hoping his eyes were just playing tricks. of course, it could never be that simple because rafe did know them. the pogues. what were they doing on the mainland? he hadn't seen them in a while and was getting used to not having to see or smell them other than when he went home for holidays.
jj, he knew worked in the cafeteria ever since he graduated earlier in the spring, which is probably how he met you. rafe had never been fond of jj, in fact, rafe lived to antagonize jj back on the island (if he cared for the cafeteria food, he would probably be in there a lot more to mess with him) so him having you felt like poorly timed karma. to be completely honest, rafe hadn't expected such a dramatic shift of power dynamics when coming to college because now there was at least 10 other rafe's who were dating the girls he should have been dating. he did just fine at parties, more than fine, but he was starting to get tired of drunk girls who just lied there all limp and sweaty or threw up on his dick (happened twice freshman year and he didn't enjoy it like he thought he would). the first decent, eligible girl he meets is getting her pussy dug out by jj maybank of all people and it felt like someone, somewhere was laughing at his misfortune. it almost made him want to give up on you.
almost.
he would never let jj maybank win at anything, let alone your heart. there was just something about you that he couldn't let go. the only thing he couldn't figure out was why everyone else was here too? none of them had a chance of getting into chapel hill. you either had to have perfect grades, be incredibly wealthy, or be a legacy student. thankfully, rafe managed to be 2/3 of those things.
rafe sat back in his seat and just observed you. he cracked his windows open and tried to listen to your conversation but he was too far to hear anything other than laughter and unintelligible voices. he pulled his phone out and typed your name into instagram, easily finding your very public page.
rafe decided to do some digging. he would start at the bottom. scrolling all the way back through a very curated feed (rafe could tell you pick and choose which of your old posts get to stay up and which ones ruin the feed) rafe felt his heart sink.
he knew you.
OBX: Summer 2018
"come on, bunny, i don't wanna go without you." your friend, esther, pleaded. she had been invited to rafe camerons party, a coveted event where anything and everything happened. esther was dating rafe's friend kelce, who invited her to the party.
"you're not even gonna talk to me so what's the point in going." you responded, filing your nails while you laid in bed.
"honestly, when's the last time you really went out? you only ever go to the country club and don't say your parents make you because last time you weren't even with your parents."
"well, the old men buy me drinks if i talk to them and make them laugh. sometimes they give me money. one of them gave me this tiffany bracelet." you stuck your wrist out to show off the silver bracelet with the heart tag which was branded with the company's insignia.
"that's kinda gross." esther scrunched her nose. you only shrugged your shoulders.
"so is going to a party at rafe camerons house. jungle juice is probably roofied" rafe had been the stereotypical jock douchebag who only hung out with other jocks, cheerleaders, or other impossibly gorgeous girls. you saw right through him which is why you never caved. not when he invited you to his lunch table, not when he asked you out, not when he tried to grind against you on the dancefloor at junior prom and called you a bitch when you pushed him away. at some point, rafe stopped trying trying with you and turned his attention and "where my hug at?" energy towards other girls who were much more susceptible.
"so we'll pregame. just please don't make me go alone." in a flash, esther sat on top of you and pinned your arms down while a string of "please, please, pretty please with a cherry on top!" tumbled out of her mouth.
"OKAY!" you had enough, but were still giggling. "i'll go, just get off of me so i can change."
"yay!" esther rolled off of you. "wear the black one, the one that makes you look slutty."
"aren't we supposed to be getting you laid?" you asked, looking through your closet that was practically overflowing with expensive name brands.
esther looked down at her hands. "me and kelce already..."
"no way. really?" she nodded and you squealed rushing over to hug her. "babe i'm so proud of you! wait- why do you need me there then?"
"its the first time i'm meeting his friends and i'm nervous." she explained, now looking through your clothes with you. "i need a buffer, yknow, a cute friend who can keep my boyfriends friends occupied."
you blinked. "so basically, you're whoring me out?"
"you just told me that you talk to old men for money and gifts."
"yeah and they don't even get to see me in my little black dress."
when you arrived at the party, it was in full swing. rafe caneron's parties had a reputation. booze flowed, drugs were shared, and there were enough rooms in the house for every couple to get busy in. it was the perfect haven for teen delinquency.
you were unimpressed, as per usual, with rafe's antics. he had been in the pool when you arrived, a girl on either side of him while he smoked a joint.
"how long do i have to stay?"
"until you start enjoying yourself."
you went to the bar. grabbing a red solo cup, you mixed yourself a drink of cherry vodka and coke. you chugged it, always having the attitude that when it came to alcohol you had to get right to the point. when you finished it, you made yourself another one.
"excuse me." a hand gently placed itself on the small of your back which made you jump. "my bad, didn't mean to scare ya- hey you're esthers friend right?" it was topper. "i just saw her with kelce. i'm topper." he stuck his hand out.
"bunny." you took it.
"whatcha got there?"
"chery vodka and coke."
"nah nah nah- you like the cherry vodka?" you nodded and he took your cup from you. "let me make you a drink."
"okay." you watched his every move as he fixed cherry vodka, cranberry juice, and lime in a brand new cup. "thank you. what is this?"
"it's called a cherry bounce. cheers to you, bunny. hopefully this isn't the last time i see you."
you only smiled at him, tight lipped and gently tapped your cup against his before taking a drink. "topper, this is really good. make me another?"
"you're not even done with that one yet." with that, you drank the rest of your cup. "okay, party girl." he took your cup back and fixed you another. "you wanna dance?"
you hated to admit it, but you actually were having a good time with topper. he was funny, kind, nice to look at, and he was a good dancer. the night was going so good, until esther invited you and topper to sesh with her, kelce, and rafe as the party died down.
it wasn't the sesh that was bad, no, you even managed to be polite and sociable with rafe. it was after the sesh when your drinks had caught up with you and you needed to pee. "esther can you show me where the bathroom is?" you asked but it fell on deaf ears as esther and kelce were mouth fucking.
"c'mon. i'll show you." rafe got up and began walking inside the house without another word. you quickly followed, only wanting to relieve your bladder and be alone for a few minutes to gather yourself and your thoughts that were racing on account of the sativa blunt you had just smoked.
rafe walked up the stairs, basically torturing your bladder with every step until he got into his room. "just use this one."
you were too desperate to argue about whatever his intentions were bringing you here so you went in and almost tripped over yourself getting to the toilet. you made it through, no accidents happening and feeling a lot more gone than when you walked up the stairs.
you stepped back into rafes room and he was sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for you. "you okay? you were in there for a while."
"yeah." you stumbled over to sit next to him but he got up and went to his window. "just a little dizzy."
"everyone fell asleep." rafe watched his friends make themselves comfortable on the outside couch on this hot summer night. you climbed over his bed and looked out the window at the sight of your friend asleep on her boyfriend's chest and topper asleep, hugging a pillow.
"do i get a prize?" he cocked his head at you. "for being the last one awake at a rafe cameron party?"
"what do you want?" rafe asked you seriously and you sighed, lying back against his navy blue sheets.
"for you to not be such an asshole." you murmured and stared at the ceiling. "i mean, you're really cute but you ruin it by being... you."
"i knew you had a thing for me." rafe must have only heard half of what you were saying because he was taking his place back next to you on his bed. "c'mere." he patted his lap and it didn't take much more coaxing than that to get you crawling into his lap. he positioned himself the way he wanted you, straddling him with your crotch right on top of his. "been waiting for you to finally come around." he trailed his hands up and down from your waist to your ass. "y'gonna let me inside that pretty pussy babe?" rafe whispered in your ear, sending all your intoxicated arousal straight to your core.
if you had been in a clearer state of mind, you would have never even been in rafe's room, but here you were letting him guide your hips to grind against you through the thin layer of your black lacy panties. your short dress had already ridden up your thighs, exposing you even more than you already were.
unexpectedly, rafe tugged the top of your dress down and leaned down to take a nipple into his mouth. when he grazed his teeth against your sensitive, hardened peak, you gasped and jolted against him. "rafe." you whispered, trying to get his attention because your head was spinning. instead, his hand found a place between your legs and pushed your panties to the side, dragging his fingers through your folds and spreading your wetness. he used it to rub your clit in circles, encouraged by your whimpers in his ear. "oh rafe..." you felt your orgasm building quickly due to your drunken state, but you also felt a pit building in your stomach. this felt wrong.
you blinked and you were on your back. your dress had found a place across your stomach and your panties were torn off of you without your knowledge. you closed your eyes, hoping if he thought you were asleep that he would just stop.
of course, things would not be that simple.
while your eyes were closed, rafe got undressed and slipped a condom over his cock. he grabbed a pillow and placed it under your hips to prop your pussy up for him at the perfect angle. he took his cock and tapped it against your clit. "wake up, sleepy girl." you only whined and tried to close your legs but he forced himself between them so you couldn't.
your eyes snapped open when you felt the intrusion of his cock. "uhhh..." you let out a mixture of a moan and a whine. the stretch burned because no matter how wet you were, rafe was objectively big, especially the mushroom tip of it. you didn't know if it was the liquor, the weed, or what, but you could basically picture what it looked like based on the way it felt inside you.
rafe gave you no time to adjust and set a punishing pace off the bat. he had one of his large hands splayed over your stomach, pushing down and making you let out a short, loud moan. "let me hear you. wanna hear how good i fuck this pussy." rafe grunted while thrusting in and out.
you, in your state, were incredibly embarrassed no matter how good he hit your spots so you were barely letting any noise escape your mouth.
"always playing hard to get... you're gushing around my cock... and making a mess on my sheets... but you still act all stuck up..." rafe spat at you through his teeth and you let out another high pitched whine. he punctuated each word with a hard thrust, his balls now slapping your ass with vigor. "gotta put you in your place, huh?"
he flipped you over and pulled you onto all fours. his hand splayed across your back this time and pushed your chest into the bed, creating a beautiful arch to your back. "so fuckin pretty." he moaned when the slid back into your tight warmth. the change of position did nothing to help you hold onto the little composure you had as he was now deeper than before, mushroom tip generously rubbing against your g-spot and his balls now smacking your clit. you were too far gone to care how you looked throwing your hips back against his. "fucking slut." he grunted, grabbing a handful of your hair. "y'wanted this huh? yeah, yeah, you been needing this huh?"
you could only moan as he painfully gripped your hair and pushed himself balls deep, rolling his hips against yours. "you like the way i fuck you baby?"
"mhm..." you had your eyes closed as you focused on the tension building in your stomach. a heavy hand landed a smack against your ass.
"use your words. you like my cock?"
"i love it..." you desperately moaned out.
"good girl." rafe pushed your head back into the bed and drilled his cock into you brutally. you were struggling to hold your hips up, but rafe held you up with one arm. "fuck... m'gonna cum. y'gonna let me cum in this pussy?" rafe grunted and pulled out, sliding the condom off before thrusting back into you. "there we go." he spoke through gritted teeth. "thatagirl, pussy feels like heaven."
you felt the difference and opened your mouth to protest but all that came out was unintelligible pants and moans.
then you saw white.
your orgasm washed over you, making your pussy clench and flutter and cream around rafes cock. you felt rafes hips stutter against yours and then you felt hot ropes of cum paint your insides. you couldn't stop moaning because rafe was still inside you, slowly thrusting and rubbing your clit. "so fucking tight..." he commented as he watched the way your pussy suctioned his cock and pulled out.
against your knowledge, rafe had been recording since he got you in doggy and was still recording. "shit..." he groaned as he focused the camera on your glistening pussy. a drop of his cum came dribbling out and he pushed it back in, earning a soft "ahhh..." from you. he played with your sensitive cunt until you came again for the camera and passed out.
when you woke up, you were alone. for a brief moment, you hadn't remembered what happened and were just confused as to where you were. you peered around the room and saw your dress and torn panties and it all came rushing back. the drinks, the sesh, having sex with rafe cameron. he must have changed you because you didn't remember putting on one of his shirts or sweats.
you checked your phone and your parents had been blowing you up since 8am. it was noon. you had missed calls from esther and a series of texts that said she couldn't find you in the morning and hopes you made it home safe. "shit." you groaned and got out of bed, legs sore from the sex you could only remember flashes of. you tidied the room up and changed back into your clothes before walking downstairs with your heels in hand. you slowed as you reached the foyer, hearing voices from the parlor.
"i don't know dude, doesn't feel right to watch this."
"she was totally cool with it, c'mon."
"you're gonna wanna see this."
you recognized the voices as topper, rafe, and kelce. then a video began playing and at first it just sounded like porn, then you realized it was your moans streaming through rafes phone.
"you like the way i fuck you?"
"mhm..."
"use your words. you like my cock?"
"i love it..."
"good girl."
you felt sick to your stomach as you heard the boys commenting on the video. how could you be so stupid? of course rafe would record you without permission while you were off your ass last night. you only blamed yourself as you walked home from tannyhill.
the video followed you around over the summer and you only managed to escape it when you went off to college.
rafe never thought twice about you after that.
JACKSONVILLE: Present.
rafe stared at your instagram feed in utter disbelief. he hadn't thought about you or the video since that summer. he honestly forgot it even happened. he wasn't a douchebag, he was a handsome young man who took all the opportunities presented to him (as he told himself). was sending the video around immature and stupid? probably. he was a kid though. everyone makes mistakes, or at least that's what he tried to tell himself as he looked through old pictures of you. did you remember him? you must have. you looked different from the last time he saw you but he looked the same. you definitely knew who he was the second he came into the study room and he didn't know how to feel about that. it made his job easier and harder. he already had a connection with you, but he would have to go through a grueling apology process that he really didn't care for. he just needed to have you.
as he scrolled into the more recent stuff, he couldn't help but notice that you didn't post jj on here at all. the page was a monument to you, all the better, and you were gorgeous on here. 2k followers with 1k likes on every post you made and comments that varied from "you're so gorgeous" to "just give me one chance." you had a highlight titled "my <3" and there was only one picture of you holding jj's hand with the song "melting" by kali uchis which was posted only a month ago.
he left your profile and went into his camera roll, into the hidden folder and scrolled back to 2018. he found the video and pressed play, his cock getting hard immediately and straining against his pants. soon enough, he had his phone pressed to his ear and his hand down his pants as he watched you and kie gathering firewood. soon enough, he was cumming in his hand to the sound of you saying that you loved his cock.
rafe managed to clean up a little and continued to watch you, well into the night as you and your friends built a bonfire and smoked a joint. it was midnight when you all had decided to leave. he followed the dirty old van back to campus and learned where your dorm was, watching you and jj head in.
rafe made it back to his dorm at around 3:30am. the more he learned, the more questions he had. rafe fell asleep with only one thing on his mind.
you.

title: good morning
pairing: xander hawthorne x (first person) reader
synopsis: you’ve just woken up and xander has a little surprise for you
warnings: fluff, xander being too cute to handle
a/n: I’ve never written a xander x reader fic before so I gave it a shot. he’s such a cutie patootie and I literally want to just give him a hug…
tag list: @tornqdowarnings @whatsamongus @wish-i-were-heather @inmyheaddd @never-enough-novels @stqrsbythepocketful @lxvebelle @xoxo-vee @emelia07
I roll over, yawning as I rub the sleep from my eyes. I sit up, my hair a mess as it all falls over my right shoulder. I stretch out my stiff muscles and yawn again.
“Hey gorgeous.”
My cheeks flush with colour as I hear his voice. I look up to see Xander staring at me, his pupils dilating, with a perfect smile planted on his perfect lips. He clambers onto the bed beside me and takes me into his arms. I curl up on his chest, so warm and cosy I feel like I might fall straight back to sleep. His breath tickles my exposed collar bone and a smile as I stare at him.
He gently traces the outline of my jaw with the tip of his finger, staring in my eyes as he asks, “You hungry?”
“Yeah why?” I ask.
“I made breakfast,” he explains.
I sit up straight, “that isn’t a funny joke,”
“I did,” Xander whines, like a four year old who isn’t being believed.
“Okay,” I scoff, suppressing an eye roll.
Since the day we got together, Xander has never once cooked a meal. He’s attempted toast but managed to set our toaster alight, I didn’t trust him in the kitchen much after that.
“You think I’m lying,” he says, his eyes resembling those of a long lost puppy.
“Yes I do,” I say simply.
“Want to see the proof?” He raises an eyebrow.
“What?” I say, “the non-existent kind?”
He rolls his eyes and stand up. I shoot him a look of confusion, my head tilted to one side. Suddenly before I know it, he lifts me up, slinging me over his shoulder. He holds my legs so I don’t fall as he begins to walk from the room towards the staircase.
“Woah! Xander! Put me down?” I yell, attempting to kick my legs to loosen his grip. It’s a failed attempt because his hold is too strong.
He just laughs, “No can do, princessa.”
“Xander I’m serious,” I say, somewhat sternly.
“Me too,” he shrugs, beginning to descend the stairs.
“Please,” I ask, putting on my sweet voice.
“No,” he replies, mimicking my tone.
“Xand,” I groan, trying to wriggle around.
“Nope,” he says, gripping to me even tighter now, “not happening.”
“Alexander!” I shout as we get to the bottom.
“Ooo full name, it’s sexy when you call me that,” he says and I can tell he’s smirking by his tone.
I slap the back of his thigh. Hard.
“It is also very sexy when you do that,” Xander laughs.
“Shut up,” I hiss.
“Don’t be a meanie,” he says, opting a playful voice.
“You’re literally holding me upside down against my will,” I deadpan as bluntly as humanly possible.
“Wrong,” he sing-songs, “when you got into the relationship you signed an invisible contract that provides life long permission for me to do this.”
“Oh really?” I ask.
“Yes really.”
“My head kinda starting to hurt now though,” I groan, feeling the rush of blood towards my head all of a sudden.
Immediately I find myself upright again, standing in front of Xander. I get a slight wave of dizziness and fall into him for support, like when you stand up too quickly.
“Are you okay?” he’s quick to ask, my face still buried in his chest.
“I’m fine,” I smile, standing back to look at him, “the blood just rushed to my head a little.”
“I’m so sorry, are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Xander says, his eyes darting all over my body to check for any signs of pain, worry lacing his expression.
“No I’m fine,” I tell him, putting a hand on his arm.
“Sure?” he asks.
“Yes.”
“Promise?”
“Yes.”
“Pinky promise?” Xander says.
“Pinky promise.” I sigh, getting out my pinky finger and wrapping it around his. Me and Xander NEVER broke pinky promises.
“Double triple pinky-“
“Xander,” I say, raising my voice a little.
“Okay… but are you sure you’re okay?” he checks on last time.
I hum a response as he kisses the tip of my nose. I giggle at the gentle and tender gesture.
“Now come and get some food,” he instructs.
“Is there actually food?” I ask, bored.
“Go and see for yourself,” he grins, cocking his head towards the kitchen door.
“Must you be so cryptic?” I ask, chuckling slightly.
“I’m a Hawthorne baby, it’s what we are,” Xander shrugs, with a lopsided smile.
I roll my eyes, grinning like an idiot as I push open the kitchen door. My jaw drops. The dining table was lined with various plates filled with food. Actual unburnt, unruined, completely cooked food.
“You can cook?” I exclaim.
“Well yeah…” Xander replies, as if it’s obvious.
“So I’ve spent the last four months cooking and eating take out for nothing?” I almost yell.
“Hey take out is never for nothing,” he says, “and I never said I couldn’t cook, I just didn’t.”
“Well for the next four months you’re cooking,” I say, sticking my tongue out at him.
His face drops, “no please no, that’s too much responsibility.”
“Hey I managed,” I tell him, hands in the air.
“That’s because you’re responsible,” he smiles sweetly.
“Well you’re going to-“
“Shut up and eat,” Xander cuts me off, shoving what seems like a homemade waffle straight into my open mouth.
Despite nearly choking and dying on it, I slowly chewed and absolutely fell in love with the taste. Shocked is an understatement.
“I want to lecture you for telling me to shut up but this is so delicious I’ve forgotten while I’m even mad,” I say with my mouth full.
“Enjoy sweetheart,” he whispers planting a kiss on my temple.

Say it again
pairing: idol!gunwook x idol!fem!Reader
genre: Angst + fluff, kinda suggestive at the end oops
a/n: BASED OFF OF MY DREAM. I have no idea who it was about but gunwook is cute so

“Everyone, we’re here!” Your manager shouts from the front of the bus, startling you awake. You look out the window to see the retreat you were staying at for the next 3 weeks. The house was modern styled with gigantic glass windows and acres of space surrounding.
You happily exit the bus with your members to meet the boys you would be collaborating with. It was none other than Zerobaseone. Making eye contact you all greet one another before smiling at gunwook. You guy’s were not official yet, but both of your groups knew of the chemistry between you two.
“hey y/n” gunwook smirks towards you before walking up next to you and rubbing your back. “gunwook” you teasingly respond back, a light blush coating your cheeks.
“Okay now that we’re all here you guys are allowed to check out the place! You have the rest of tonight free and recording starts tomorrow morning.” Your manager shouted once more before turning away to do his own thing.
“hey wookie! Wanna come check it out with me?!” Your member mina said as she made her way over to you two, reaching out to grab his arm and drag him away. It all happened so fast that you didn’t have time to react... but why the fuck was he willingly going with her??
You stand in place with your eyebrows furrowed, still confused about what just happened. “what the fuck was that? Does she know about you guys?!” You hear gyuvin say behind you, making his way to your side to lead you inside of the house.
“I dont know but apparently he doesn’t either” you respond dryly, watching them walk through the front door together.
“How do you feel about her whispering into his ear like that y/n…” gyuvin continued before getting smacked upside the head by hanbin.
“Not funny vin.” He said coldly now walking beside you guys.
You feel your heart start to clench at the thought. What the fuck is going on?
As you enter the door you hear mina’s annoying voice once more, ” this should be our room wook!”
As soon as you heard that you grabbed him by the arm, leading him back to the entrance.
“Hello? Why the fuck aren’t you saying anything to her?? Are you really going to sleep with her?” You say angrily with tears starting to line up against your waterline.
“What no!! baby I didn’t know what to do! she never gave me a chance to talk!” He sputtered out, scared of what this could lead to.
“SO? You could’ve pulled away gunwook! stop making excuses when you know she has a thing for you. And dont call me baby, we clearly aren’t a thing.” You respond, pulling yourself away from him and locking yourself in the room beside you before he could get a chance to retaliate.
You hear commotion outside of the bedroom as you hear hanbin dragging gunwook away and scolding him, along with the rest of your members yelling at mina for how she was acting. Throwing yourself on the bed, you finally let the tears fall. Feelings of betrayal and hate flowing through. How could he do this to you? Were all the late night talks and meaningful actions a joke?
You dont know how much time has passed before you hear a knock at your door. You didn’t even eat because you didn’t want to face anyone at the moment.
“y/n darling.” You hear hanbin softly say from the other side of the door. “Please let me in.”
Your lip quivers slightly at the caring tone before you pick yourself up and unlock the door for him. He barges through and immediately bear hugs you. “I’m so sorry” he starts.
“Gunwook knows he messed up y/n, He’s doing terrible right now and has been crying for the last few hours. He wont stop. He knows he hurt you but was scared at the situation and didn’t know if he should push her away or if he’d come off as mean.” He lets out with a sigh and tears brimming his eyes at how hurt you both were.
“binnie I dont know… It just hurt so much to see. I know we aren’t official or anything but I thought I meant more to him than that.” You respond, now letting yourself cry in his arms.
“you need to talk to him. This needs to get solved immediately. I know now might not be the time but mina is gone… something about some online scandals so the manager took her away, kinda funny” He says while you lightly smack him on the back, taking in all of the information.
“I’m getting him.” Hanbin quickly says and runs away before you can tell him no. Bringing back a devastated looking gunwook in less than 30 seconds.
He pushed gunwook into your room and shut the door quick. Just seeing gunwook in front of you causes the tears to rapidly fall again.
He gasps and quickly makes his way to grab you, holding your head to his chest. “y/n baby. I’m so sorry. I told myself I would protect you and here I am hurting you. Please I love you so much I can’t lose you now.” He hiccups, tears flowing down his cheeks.
Your face beats red at the sudden confession. “you…love me?” Is all you can get out from the shock.
“Oh. I didn’t mean to tell you like this im sorry I-“
You cut off his rambling by pressing a short kiss to his cheek. “Gunwook I believe you, I wont be able to forget about this but i’ll try my best. “ Rubbing the leftover tears away from your face. He stares down at you mouth agape before smiling and picking you up to place you on the bed. He lays you down on your back and holds himself above you on his forearms.
“I love you” Gunwook repeated looking into your eyes this time. “so fucking much that it scares me” He finished, eyes darting to look at your swollen plump lips.
You lean up a tiny bit to reach his lips and leave a lingering kiss before you both break out into smiles. He leans down to catch your lips, now moving them slowly against each other, tongue poking through your lips and leaving you breathless. You reach your hands to tangle in his hair as he grabs at your waist and thighs, wrapping them around him.
“I love you baby” you say between kisses making him smile against your lips.
“Say it again” gunwook says cheekily, lifting himself up to stare down at you.
“I said I love you gunwook” You roll your eyes as he flops down next to you and pulls your leg atop of him to cuddle to sleep, arms protectively wrapped around your back and thigh.

Charlie and Vaggie
This is a male reader insert! Charlie and Vaggie become parents This would be before the pilot, so there isn't any other characters beside them. Hope you like it! I was also wondering if I should make one for the Vees. All three of them handling a toddler is a cute image in my head idk what do you guys think? If so, how should proceed it? Should Velvet be the biological mother or should I do a Baby Daddy on Vox lol
Pilot Part 1 Episode 1
It was time. It was time for the baby to come! And Vaggie was not ready for it but she isn't going to show it because if she does then who's going to calm down Charlie who's running around the empty, trashy hotel for a warm bucket of water that they will need for this specific moment.
Vaggie bites down a pained groan as the contractions start to double the amount and pain.
"Shit." She slowly breathes out. Running a hand through her hair that grew longer over the past months with the pregnancy.
"Ok! I got the water. Now where are my gloves? Are these the clean towels that we recently washed? Omg, did we buy enough diapers!?-" Charlie starts to grip her hair as her horns start to protrude from her head.
"Charlie, babe. We have everything here. We double checked and got more supplies after we thought we'll be in lock down for at least two months. Now, can you calm down and please hold my hand?" Vaggie interrupts Charlie's rambling as it would lead to a panic attack. Usually, Vaggie would calm her down with sweet words and gentle touches but right now, the pain she is feeling can't make her focus on anything but the pain.
"Right! Sorry. How are you doing Vaggie? Need water?" Charlie kneels on the bed, taking a hold of the woman she loves dearly. When they first met, Charlie thought it was love at first sight. They both gave hints such as fleeting touches and lingering eyes until it turned more intimate that they got together. It was magical really.
Until they hit their five months into their relationship, Vaggie started to act differently. Vomiting in the morning, craving weird things (Charlie didn't point out because she loves Vaggie too much to judge her) and sleeping a lot. They both brushed it off until Vaggie mentioned how her stomach is getting bigger. Which also took them a little bit longer to notice but they got there.
Charlie of course told her dad, well not told him per-say but a small comment about how to prepare for a baby and such which her father answered awkwardly and fast paced as she's sure she guessed he didn't want to talk about this kind of stuff to his daughter that he hasn't seen for a few years now. And she's pretty sure he forgot all about it the next phone call he made as he asks for Charlie to check on how many sinners died in the last extermination.
But all in all, Lucifer hasn't connected the dots and now Charlie is here alone, taking care of Vaggie and ready to secure the baby once it's fully out. She is so fucking happy! She's going to make this Happy Hotel a family business! Just the three of them.
"I don't want to alarm but I think the baby is coming out right now." Vaggie huffs out gripping on Charlie's hand with all her might as her body pushes.
"Oh god, ok! Just keep pushing. I have everything ready, sweetheart. You're doing great!" Charlie wheezes out the last bit as her hand gets crushed. Shaking the pain off, Charlie drags a towel over, ready.
It took at least an hour of Vaggie screaming in pain and profanities that finally, Charlie places their child down in Vaggie's arms.
"It's a boy." Charlie whispers excitedly, doing a little happy wiggle as she looks at her girlfriend and son together.
Vaggie smiles tiredly, muttering out a 'Never again.' Which Charlie volunteers to be the next one to get pregnant.
"You know what name I'm thinking?" Vaggie mutters out as she hands the baby boy that has her grey skin but the two red dots on his face along with blonde hair that he got has Charlie written all over it. Charlie snaps out of her awe trance at the baby, looking at Vaggie with a big smile.
"(M/n)." They both said at the same time, leaning on each other as they looked at their son.

what love feels like
“God,” Buck said, unable to control himself. “I hate this song.”
The man sitting beside him on the bar looked his way, a small frown between his brows.
Usually, Buck wasn’t one to be vocal about the things he hated. If you don’t have anything nice to say, shut up or whatever, but this song always got the most primal reactions out of him.
And it was even more annoying that after five years since it was released, it was getting a new life again.
Buck had been forced to listen to it at the grocery shop, at his dentist’s office and on every single uber he took on the last week. And now, when he thought he was finally free of the fucking song, it was here, at his bar.
It had some audacity, the song.
“Well, I think it’s an okay song,” the man said, and it was clear he was trying to suppress a smile when Buck only groaned in response.
“Please,” Buck said, taking a sip of his beer while the song moved to that annoying chorus Buck had burned in the back of his head. “I can feel my brain melting through my ears because of it.”
The man chuckled, almost choking on his drink.
“Geez, you really hate it,” he said, once he had been able to stop coughing. “You should tell your leg that you hate it, though, because you’ve been moving it on the rhythm ever since it came on.”
Buck looked down and, funnily enough, his leg was bouncing in something that resembled the beat of the song. He groaned, pressing his eyes hard. He had spent almost two years not thinking about that song and now it was fucking everywhere again and Buck was falling right back into it as if–
He felt relief as the last notes of the song played and something else filled the bar’s speakers. His jaw unclenched and his shoulders relaxed. Buck hadn’t even realized he was that tense.
Once he looked up at the man beside him, he was already looking at Buck, a puzzled expression on his face. Well, right. Buck had been going on about a song to a complete stranger in a bar. How rude.
“Sorry,” he said, offering his hand. “I’m Buck. I just really hate that song.”
The man’s expression didn’t change, but he shook Buck’s hand, nodding. Buck raised a brow at him right before pulling his hand back.
“I’m, uh, Eddie,” he said, using his hand to fix his hair even though there wasn’t a single strand out of place.
Who was being weird now, huh?
Buck motioned the bartender for another round, including a new drink to Eddie.
“Oh, you don’t have to,” Eddie said as his empty beer got switched by a full one. Buck waved his hand.
“It’s the least I can do. I don’t normally bitch to strangers about songs, but then again…”
“You don’t hate songs as much as you hate this one,” Eddie finished for him, and Buck chuckled, nodding.
He picked up his new beer and clinked on Eddie’s bottle. Now that Buck was really looking at him, the guy was… cute. Scratch that, he was hot.
“You come here often?” Buck asked, trying the oldest fucking thing in the book. He knew Eddie had never been to that bar, because if he had, Buck would’ve found a way to take him home with him already.
“First time,” Eddie said, taking a sip of his beer and turning his entire body towards Buck. Well, that was a good sign, right?
“How do you like it so far?” Buck asked, turning so he’d be facing Eddie.
Eddie was probably tall. At least almost Buck’s height, which meant that now that they were facing each other, they had to rearrange their legs and, somehow, Buck managed to fit his in between Eddie’s.
Almost like Eddie was bracketing him.
Oh well, Buck wouldn’t mind that too much.
“It’s been okay,” Eddie said, clicking his tongue as if he was thinking about it. “Had a beer that was the perfect temperature. Then, had a cute boy buy me one because he was bitching about a song.”
Buck snorted, raising his beer. “Glad to know I bettered your experience.”
“Bettered? The jury’s still out on that, I’m afraid.”
At that, Buck laughed, feeling his cheeks growing hot.
“I’ll check back later to see the verdict,” Buck added and Eddie nodded, trying to stay serious and failing.
He couldn’t even remember why he was being so bitchy about that song in the first place. Not when Eddie was there, sitting right next to him and apparently open for Buck to make a move.
It had been a while, though, since Buck had been that Buck, and he wasn’t sure he still got it. Before, Buck would already be pulling Eddie into a bathroom stall and getting on his knees for him.
Actually, that was a lie.
The Buck from before didn’t know everything about himself just yet. But it was hard to believe he would pass on someone as handsome as Eddie.
“You from around here?” Buck asked when he felt he had been trapped inside his head for a beat too long. Eddie didn’t seem bothered by Buck’s silence, but still.
“Yeah. Had to move for work,” Eddie said, eyes never leaving Buck’s.
“Where did you move from?”
“Ah, well. El Paso,” he said as if a little embarrassed. “It’s not a small town, but…”
“It’s no LA,” Buck added and Eddie nodded. “You’ll get used to it.”
“Did you?” Eddie asked and Buck had no idea how he knew Buck was speaking from experience.
“For the most part,” Buck answered, taking a sip of his beer just to find the bottle empty. “This city makes you feel small in a way that all your past mistakes don’t seem to matter.”
Eddie hummed, encouraging Buck along.
Was there something like too much information to tell a complete stranger in a bar?
“That doesn’t mean you won’t make new mistakes, though. Learned that the hard way and now,” Buck said, looking around. “Now I get to sit in a different bar because I can’t go to the one I used to.”
“Well,” Eddie said, pushing a new beer in Buck’s hand. “I, for one, am glad you’re in this new bar otherwise we wouldn’t have met.”
The way he said it, as if meeting Buck was something nice, tugged at his heartstrings and Buck urged his heart to behave.
“And what a shame would that have been, yeah?” Eddie said, his free hand moving to squeeze Buck’s knee.
Buck used to be a man of one night stands, back in the day. Back when he was a different version of Buck, louder and inconsequential. Hiding from the fact that all he wanted was something real.
He can’t explain it, but Eddie feels real right now. Sitting in front of him with his legs around Buck and his hand touching him softly.
“You ok?” Eddie asked, watching Buck as if he could decipher all his secrets by sheer will.
“Just thinking about that song I hate,” Buck admitted, feeling kind of crazy. Eddie seemed to think he was crazy, too.
“You don’t have to–”
“I mean,” Buck interrupted, “Thinking about the reason why I hate it.”
“Oh,” Eddie said, straightening up on the chair, bumping their knees together even though his hand hadn’t left the place on Buck’s thigh ever since he placed it there. “Why’s that?”
Buck sighed. He must’ve lost his mind if he was about to spill his embarrassments to a man he had just met –and who he desperately wanted to take home.
“It used to be our song,” Buck said and Eddie frowned before he clarified. “Me and my ex’s.”
A few different feelings crossed Eddie’s face until it settled on surprise.
“Was it a bad break up?”
“You could say that,” Buck said, feeling tiredness seeping into his bones. “He, uh, helped me figure out some things. About myself, you know.”
Buck wasn’t ashamed that he realized he was bi a little later on, but there was shame creeping up into his neck anyway. Eddie offered him a soft smile that Buck wanted to say he didn’t deserve. Why was he being weird like that?
He and Tommy had been broken up for almost two years, but the song had been giving him whiplash, freshening up Tommy’s words from the day he walked out on them, all of Buck’s furniture wrapped in bubble wrap for the move.
God, he had been so embarrassed to call the movers and cancel the whole thing on the night before.
“I loved that song,” Buck admitted quietly, and he felt Eddie moving a little closer, sitting on the edge of his stool, legs pressing on Buck’s. “I wanted to feel every single thing the song described. I don’t think… I don’t know if anyone has ever been capable of summarizing what it feels to be in love quite like that song. And then Tommy, that’s my ex, Tommy. He gave that to me. He gave me the song and I was obsessed with it, and with him. I made a fool of myself but the song says it’s ok. If you’ve found the one, it doesn’t matter. And I thought I had.”
All of a sudden, everything came rushing back. Tommy saying Buck was confused. Saying that Buck just wanted to love him, but that he didn’t. Not really. Not truly. Buck begging him to give him another chance to prove that he did.
Tommy walking away.
The song being a reminder of everything Buck thought he had.
And now, a new reminder. That maybe Buck wasn’t cut out for that kind of thing. Maybe love wasn’t in Buck’s future anyway, and all he was doing was fighting the inevitable.
“That’s not…” Eddie started to say and then stopped. His eyes focused on Buck even though he was looking away.
He had tried to be fine with the break up. He had tried calling Tommy for some kind of explanation. Why had he let Buck believe they could have it all when he didn’t believe in Buck’s feelings?
“Your ex’s a jerk,” Eddie said, no preambles.
“You don’t even know what–”
“I don’t need to,” Eddie argued. “I can see it in your face. I thought you were just looking for an excuse to talk to me, but now I can see it. How upset you were when the song was playing. How… sad you look just now, talking about him. I don’t know what he did to you, but he doesn’t seem particularly nice.”
“Looking back, I should’ve probably tried something else to get your attention. Then maybe I wouldn’t be embarrassing myself and going on about my ex in front of the cute guy at the bar.”
Eddie chuckled, “It’s working just fine.”
Buck smiled for a second, looking at Eddie. And then, “Tommy’s not all bad.”
“Maybe,” Eddie conceded. “But if he dumped you, he’s at least a little dumb.”
Buck laughed at that. Genuinely and loudly and Eddie seemed pretty pleased with himself just then.
“Listen,” Eddie said, eyes catching on Buck’s lips for a second too long. “Wanna get out of here?”
Buck felt it again, the flutter of his heart. The way he wanted to, more than anything.
The way he had to say no.
“I do. But… I don’t think I can go home with you right now. Not when Tommy’s fingerprints are so fresh in here,” he said, finger tapping the side of his head.
Eddie didn’t seem particularly surprised by that.
“I get it,” he said, and he sounded so genuine about it. “Can I give you my number? Then, when you’re ready, you can call me?”
At that, Buck smiled. And then nodded.
“Yeah. I’d like that.”
He offered his phone to Eddie, who tapped quickly on it before giving it back. Buck knew what came next, but he was still disappointed when Eddie got up, his last beer bottle still half-full.
“I’m gonna go,” he said, a little apologetic. “I don’t think I can keep looking at you and not kiss you.”
Buck felt his lips curving upward, a warm, soft feeling spreading all over his chest. God, fucking Tommy and his stupid fucking song.
“Fair,” Buck said, and watched quietly as Eddie dropped cash on the counter and waved at the bartender.
“You drink one or two more on me. Then you call someone to pick you up, ok?” Eddie instructed Buck, who just nodded, a little surprised by the whole thing. Eddie was… “And when you’re ready, you call me.”
Buck smiled, then, as Eddie leaned down and pressed a kiss on his cheek, the spot tingling as soon as he pulled away.
Buck wanted to pull him in and kiss him on the mouth and fuck him until Tommy’s name didn’t mean anything. Until the song was forgotten on the back of his mind.
But at the same time, he could see in Eddie’s face, the sliver of… hope, was it? That this could be something, if they knew how to play their cards right. If they did things right Buck could have what he always wanted with Eddie.
Eddie was already a few steps away when he turned back, eyes shimmering with something Buck couldn’t quite place.
“Oh, and Buck?”
“Yeah?” he said, heart beating a little faster with the way Eddie’s lips curled around his name.
“You should check out who sings that song you hate,” he said, winking and before Buck could say anything else, Eddie disappeared in the crowd.
Buck frowned. He knew who sang it, didn’t he? It was that guy… what was his name? Tommy was always going on about him. How cool he was. How nice his voice sounded.
It was kind of annoying.
Buck tapped his phone, making the screen light up with Eddie’s contact information.
Eddie ❤️
He smiled dumbly at it for a second before closing the contact folder and opening his Spotify. He typed in the name of the song and clicked on the first result, heart hammering in his chest even though he already knew what he was going to see.
What Love Feels Like by Eddie Diaz
And then, in his tiny screen and looking at him from behind thick sunglasses and a smirk, was his Eddie.
