When he finds you crying in your room though, he feels his heart break that he didn’t help you before

He scoops you up in his arms. “H- hey, doll, why’re you cryin’? Was it something I said?”

If you don’t want to talk about it he’ll hold you and go on about how much he loves you so you don’t have to deal with silence

Warnings: implications of drowning - gender neutral reader ‐ fluff

The party had reached a point in the dungeon where everyone was exhausted and sweaty. All everyone wanted was to eat, rest, and hopefully find somewhere to freshen up. But that last part was optional, since the dungeon didn't really have many places like that.

Luckily for them, walking around they had found a room with only an onsen in the middle, so they decided to settle just outside of the room to rest for the night. Marcille and Laios took turns washing themselves up, except for Senshi and (y/n).

Chilchuck had decided to wait until everyone was asleep to enjoy the onsen with a bit more privacy, but he couldn't help but notice how (y/n) barely even came close to stepping into the room. So he approached them, tugging them away from the rest of the group.

—I was thinking about cleaning myself up while everyone was asleep— he clears his throat, slightly flushed at the fact he was admitting this— and since you haven't gone yet, I wondered...— he stretched the sentence, making a circular motion with one of his hands as the other rested on his hip, his gaze looking at the oh so interesting wall.

(y/n) looked at him, piecing everything together easily, and even though they were touched by their partners gesture, they declined.— Sorry Chil, I– um... I'm fine, you know? I don't think I need a bath— they did though. They stank to be fair. But they were too scared to step into the room where the onsen was. Much less get into the water.

Chilchuck felt sad at first, and he was ready to let it go. Maybe they didn't want to bathe together. Perhaps it was a big step for intimacy, but upon noticing the expression on their face, he stopped and grabbed their hands.— You don't have to lie. You um... look very sweaty to be fair. And I know you don't want to be all dirty forever. So what's the truth?— he spoke softly, looking up into their eyes with nothing but care, curiosity and a pinch of worry.

—N-Nothing's wrong, what do you mean?— (y/n) notices how Chilchuck raises an eyebrow, clearly not believing them, and they sigh, defeated.— I guess I could wash my hair at least. Wouldn't want Marcille's spells to not work on me in case of an emergency— they mumble, raising a hand up to touch their hair.

Chilchuck sighed, not really content with the answer, but decided to let it go for now and talk about it later when they were alone.

After having a delicious monster meal, cooked by none other than Senshi (and a little help of the forever enthusiastic Laios), everyone prepared their bedrolls and happily went to sleep.

Except for our lovebirds. Who sneaked away into the next room silently to enjoy some time alone and relax away from the rest for at least a while.

Chilchuck didn't doubt getting rid of his clothes and getting into the onsen for a second, his skinny body relaxing under the calming hot water as he sighed, closing his eyes and relishing on the pleasant feeling and the silence of the night. (y/n) sat on the edge fully clothed, and although they couldn't deny how their legs had trembled as they walked closer to the onsen, they were a bit relieved to have Chilchuck's company, his presence providing a small sense of safety despite the whirlwind of emotions in their chest.

Dipping their fingers in the water and then their whole hand, they scooped some water and patted their hair, very slowly, but surely, wetting it.

—What are you doing?— Chilchuck spoke after watching the scene for a moment. He was somewhat amused, he wouldn't lie. Why not just get into the water?— I assure you, there are no monsters in here if that's what worries you— he chuckled.

—No... I know. It's not that— (y/n) mumbled as they looked at him.— I'm just...— they bit their lip. Was it safe to say it? To tell him they were scared? Chilchuck had a reputation for being teasing sometimes, but he didn't usually mean anything bad by it.— I'm scared of the water, Chil— they admitted eventually.

Chilchuck perked up at the comment, not expecting that answer. He had expected them to say sometimes like: "I'm embarrassed to show my body" or "You're making me nervous" but not that they were afraid of getting into the onsen.— What do you mean, love?— he whispered, moving a bit closer to them, the water splashing gently around as he swam.

(y/n) took a deep breath, and exhaled shakily— When I was younger... I went with my friends to a forest. There we found a pond, and my friends and I decided to get in, since it was a very hot day— they began explaining, fidgeting with their fingers and the hem of their clothes— we swam for a while and it was fun splashing each other in the face, until one of them splashed me and, to avoid it, I dipped under the surface of the water. I was too close to the edge so something got tangled between my feet, and– I started to–...— they took another shaky breath in.

—Hey, hey, it's fine— Chilchuck stood up, not minding the fact that he was naked, and placed a hand on their shoulder.— I know it must've been scary, but that's not going to happen here— he lifts their head to make them look at him.

—But what if– —Chilchuck pressed a gentle kiss to their lips, now fully understanding why they didn't want to get in.

—No buts. You're here with me, and I'll take care of you. Besides, this is an onsen love, there's nothing that can hurt you— he looked into their eyes, brushing his thumb over their cheek— I want to help, if you'll let me— he whispers.

And for a moment they stop to look around, evaluating, thinking. The onsen isn't deep at all. If Chilchuck can stand in there properly, they could too. But what if a monster came and attacked? The rest of the party was outside. Sleeping, yes, but they would wake up and kill it.

Standing up with a newfound sense of safety, they slowly got rid of their clothes, folding them nicely and leaving them beside Chilchuck's. The half-foot stood inside the onsen and by the edge, looking at them with a reassuring smile and extending one hand in their direction.

—That's it love, take your time— Chilchuck took their hand once they were near the edge, and held them as they very slowly dipped one leg in. Once (y/n) had decided it was in fact safe, they stepped in with the other leg and crouched, their body thanking them for the warmth of the water.— You're doing great already, (y/n)— he pressed a kiss to their forehead.

Taking the soap Marcille had made before, he lifted one of their arms and started helping them get clean.

—Thank you...— after a moment of silence, they looked at him with gratitude, and he chuckled, shaking his head with a smile.

—Nothing to thank me for, love. I care about you— the feeling of his hands roaming through their body felt as calming as the temperature of the onsen, helping their muscles relax after so much fighting in the dungeon. Perhaps now the idea of getting bathed more often didn't sound so scary in their mind, but only if Chilchuck was there to provide some company and kisses. That part was essential.

Headcanons for Akashi when he's sad 😔

I did a cute one last night for Akashi laughing, so I thought I'd flip the script and break y'alls hearts rq with some headcanons I have for when Akashi isn't feeling all too great.

First of all, let's start with any canon material we have of Akashi being openly sad. There really isn't much. The only times we see him like that in the main series are at his mother's funeral as a child during that flashback, and then directly after he lost to Seirin. Even with the second instance, he tried to hold in his tears as best as he could and still put on a brave smile to go and shake hands with Kuroko. Aside from that, the only other instance I can think of is during the drama CD (season 3 volume 9) where he had a bit of an argument with Murasakibara.

Canonically, we know why he is almost never openly sad. With such high expectations placed on him by his father, the superintendents of Teiko, and even himself, showing sadness was a form of weakness. This is why, despite the fact that he was clearly overwhelmed with too much work throughout his entire childhood, he never complained. His father likely drilled that mentality into him to just suck it up and keep it pushing, because Akashi wasn't even allowed time to process his grief after losing his mother, the only support system he ever had. With this information in mind, let's get into my headcanons.

First of all, what makes Akashi upset? The first thing I can think of is his massive workload paired with the high expectations placed on him. There are probably some days when all of it is just too overwhelming and he gets stressed out, worried that he won't be able to handle it all. Whenever Akashi switches personalities in the series, it's always during a crucial basketball match. But I personally feel like if he's stressed with work all the time, he's constantly teetering on the edge of dissociating but ends up not. I can imagine him in his dorm after a long day of school trying to finish assignments late into the night, and he's desperately fighting to remain present and in the moment. It probably happens more than people think, and to avoid giving into his other self and letting him take over is something he has to do on a regular basis.

The second thing is when he feels like he hasn't been a good friend. Post-Winter Cup, Akashi tries really hard to reconnect with Kuroko and the other GoM more than he used to back in middle school. And given how he had to salvage his friendships with his former and current teams after almost ruining them both, post-Winter Cup Akashi is probably very insecure about his own ability to be a good friend to others. For example, in season 3 volume 9 of the drama CDs when he and Murasakibara had a quarrel, Murasakibara mentioned that Akashi had no idea how he felt at all before hanging up the phone. That comment stuck with Akashi, so much so that all three of the Uncrowned Kings noticed and essentially staged an intervention in the clubroom because Akashi looked so visibly bothered that it freaked them out. You can tell that he cares about his friends as well as what they think of him. He wants to be someone they can trust and depend on, but when he feels like he's missed the mark, he gets upset about it each and every time because, really and truly, he's trying his very best.

What does he look like when he's sad? The thing about Akashi is that he still sometimes has trouble letting himself be upset because he's busy and has no time for breakdowns (probably why he prefers to dissociate instead since he'd rather just detach himself from reality and not feel anything at all). As a result, he tends to bottle a lot of things up until they all spill out later, and I can see it manifesting in two ways.

1: panic attacks. With what this boy has been through, it would not surprise me in the slightest if he ever had panic attacks. If he somehow managed to avoid them throughout his entire childhood, then I think his first panic attack would come after losing the Winter Cup finals because this is the first time in his life he's ever lost at anything and he feels like his entire world is falling apart. He'd probably be hit with an overwhelming fear of what would happen to him after losing the finals, especially with how much his father emphasized victory and success over everything. And the idea of being a disappointment and disgracing his family name would probably just tear this poor boy apart. And these panic attacks are not pretty. He's hyperventilating and gasping through sobs that he desperately tries to quiet to no avail, and he trembles so badly that he can barely keep himself upright. Not good at all.

2: full system shutdown. Maybe I'm projecting my own personal experiences for this one, but I think if there was a day when he was just so stressed and tired or maybe he got news that was so devastating, his body would refuse to cope and he would just... switch off. That could mean sleeping in the middle of the day for long stretches of time because he can't handle being awake, and then when he is awake, his mind is static and he's totally nonverbal, normally for several hours. Also not good at all.

The only person who's ever seen him in the middle of either one of these types of breakdowns is Mibuchi. The first time was accidental because Akashi didn't have the foresight to lock the door at that moment. But after Mibuchi is able to calm him down/bring him back to reality, then for every time after, Akashi will actively seek out Mibuchi if he feels like he's on the verge of a breakdown. Eventually, he opens up about it to the other Uncrowned Kings and they're very supportive and tell Akashi to let them know if there's any way they can help him (he actually has to hold back tears for that).

I have a separate headcanon that post-Winter Cup Akashi eventually starts going to therapy because he realizes he could really use it, and so I would think with time, he develops better coping mechanisms and also knows how to calm himself down before getting to the point of a breakdown. (He still seeks Mibuchi out, though, cuz sometimes he just needs a hug. Is that so wrong?)

He also learns to just experience his emotions as they come and for what they are. Positive or negative, either way, all emotions are valid, and instead of hiding from sadness, you should feel it and then let it pass. Through that, he's able to make peace with himself and not be so hard on himself anymore.

Anyway, I have no idea where to end it, so I'll leave it here because I'm literally falling asleep as I write this. I need to go to bed. For anyone who I've punched in the gut with these headcanons... I'm not sorry. Bye now! 😃

'benny...' champagne started. benny's heart quickened and he just knew that champagne could hear it.

'whasup, champ?' he grinned unsteadily.

'can i.. have something? of yours?' champagne asked, with a voice that suggested a deep hunger. benny stepped back, not letting his smile dip but feeling fear pulse through him.

'well ya already got 3 of my ribs and a kidney, what more do ya really need?' benny asked lightheartedly, trying desperately not to let the fear infect his voice

'i was thinking...' champagne said slowly, stepping towards benny smoothly in a way that made benny's heart skip with something other than fear for a moment.

'maybe.. i could have your heart?' benny was sure champagne had somehow stopped it for a moment as he said that, because he was suddenly breathless. and very very aware that he was pressed against a wall, face an inch away from the doctor's, in a room alone with a quite-possible-psychopath that had already stolen several of his bones and an organ.

'd-dont i need that o-one t-ta survive?' benny stuttered, trying not to look at champagne's lips because that was not appropriate when his life was being threatened. even if the guy threatening him was very attractive.

'oh, ill keep it safe.' champagne assured, placing his hand over benny's chest but not touching, like if he did he wouldnt be able to stop himself from just reaching in and just...

benny took a stuttering breath and-

sterling came crashing through into the room calling for benny before stopping and making champagne leave the room.

'you ok benny? i know that guy gets to you a lot.' sterling asked. benny nodded shakily and assured him that he was fine, he would be ok.

what terrified benny most, however, was that before sterling came running in the word on his lips was yes

'whasup, champ?' benny's smile was so pretty. maybe you can take some teeth next! champagne felt a familiar hunger that wasnt his brewing as he stepped forward towards benny. just like a beast hunting its prey!! ew, hunt.

'can i.. have something? of yours?' why are you asking permisson? thats so boringg. just reach in and- champagne almost shushed it, but felt it might ruin the moment.

'maybe.. i could have your heart?' champagne was asking for so much, and benny didnt even know it. its not that much, just another- delicious, mind you- organ he had trapped benny, now, against a wall. he would back off when benny said no, because he would almost certainly say no, but for now this was fun. not in the normal flesh way either. this was fun for him.

benny stuttered something out, but champagne was distracted by the way his eyes ew. eyes. kept flicking down to champagne's lips. champagne didn't kiss him, it likely wouldnt be a pleasent experience for either of them i mean youve never really TRIED, but he really really wanted to. in a midly terrifying way (and not in the usual terror-filled way, either)

'oh, ill keep it safe' champagne assured. he needed benny to let him have this. his heart. yum. not to eat. he wasnt lying. he was going to keep it safe. he promised.

then someone came crashing in and ruined it.

champagne didnt hold grudges per say but if that guy was the next to be turned into a dinosaur it would be his own damn fault.

he was sure benny would say no, but the moment itself felt special, somehow.

'really?' champagne sounded breathless too, like they had both run a marathon and were now here. with benny agreeing for champagne to take his heart oh god this was insane-

'sure. as long as you put it back before i die.' benny smiled, heart going insane (just like he did. he mustve gone insane. champagne mustve made him insane because there was no way he had just agreed to let someone LITERALLY BORROW HIS HEART-)

'of course.' champagne seemed shocked and pleased and hungry and dangerous and- and beautiful and benny felt a hand cup his cheek before he passed out.

and benny fell to the floor. champagne followed and ended on his knees next to an unconcious benny and the flesh was going insane.

champagne reached his hand into benny's chest and it was warm and beautiful and TAKE EVERYTHING WARP IT FEED US WAKE HIM UP AND MAKE HIM SCREAM so human that champagne almost felt jealous as his hand closed around benny's heart and he didn't even want to disturb it because of all the stupid human poetry about love and all that shit and champagne blinked back the red red red that was seeping into his vision because he was not the flesh and he fucking promised and he withdrew his arm from benny's chest and he closed his hands around his ears because he didnt care what they screamed he was going to keep benny safe- his heart. he was going to keep his heart safe.

i've been working a bit on some sort of new theme for my super due revamp but i hate editing sooo much. whatever you say your themes always look super nice and cohesive <3 they're really nice to look at ;;

the fandom being big and dead (from a writing pov) is just as you said ;; i occasionally go into the tags to look for cute fanart but i don't see any writing and it's very sad. sorry to whoever might be offended by this but x readers actually carried the fandom before engstars. but we all either grew frustrated with the lack of interaction or found new interests

things i liked about sex education season 3

so i made a post about some things i didn't like about season three, so here's some things i did like!

gonna gush about cal, viv, and jackson rq cause i love them so much

i really love cal so much they're probably my favorite character of the whole series. them as a character (laid back, stoner, skater, funny, and bold) just makes me so happy, but also the representation aspect was the best thing they've ever done. the actor who plays them is actually non binary in real life and uses they/xe pronouns. them also being black i think is super important. cal was just so loveable and always had good vibes. the most encouraging and "fuck it, do what you want, you don't have to be perfect/know everything" character. there was representation in more than one aspect for me and i just heavily related to them :) i think it should also be noted that even though there are a lot of lgbtqia+ characters in sex education, i'm pretty sure cal is the only one whose actor is part of the community irl.

VIV IS AUTISTIC! aside from isaac i think she's the only other canonically disabled character (outside of characters like jackson, maeve, and cal who have anxiety). i really love viv so much. she's so funny and smart and she's a go-getter and knows what she wants. she will put in the work to make sure she gets what she needs done. she's business only most times, although eventually, she loosens up. idk man i just liked seeing a black girl on screen in such a prominent role. she made me feel powerful and im surprised how much they developed her character! they did neglect her a little during s3, which i think was intentional to cause some tension between her and jackson, but that fixed itself so i can't be mad at it

i have loved jackson from the beginning! our black head boy. mad that mr groff was using him for funding, but i'm glad they showed us early on that he was more than just this jock. i think season 1 was his worst season cause even though they delved into his character, i feel like he was only used to further otis and maeve's relationship. in season two i liked him because he started to open up and made a real friend. i noticed that after maeve and jackson broke up, jackson really had no one and he had just started to open up with maeve (and himself) for the first time ever. i think him being friends with viv really made the difference because they both were supportive of each other, encouraged each other, and told each other off when necessary. the black boy, black girl friendship was unmatched and i'm so glad they didn't force viv and jackson into something romantic. jackson's friendship with cal was also really cool because they instantly became tight and i think cal really helped jackson with even more self discovery. jackson's whole character is self discovery i feel, but i'm glad he finally has good people around him to help with that. it's what he deserves

some specific things i liked:

- adam and his father's character development and the fact that they really did do it on their own. they might've done it for other people, but in the end they went on the journey alone and it was for the better

- that little bit that we did learn about ruby and her life outside of being the popular mean girl. ruby deserved way better and just generally more screen time because she really is an interesting character and they started to show us who she was, but cut us off after otis broke up with her

- seeing anwar and olivia support ruby after otis dumped her

- jackson and cal's friendship and the trials of their relationship (i'll probably make a whole post about this)

- eric being able to get in touch with his roots again (even though it felt like isolation...). i just love being reminded that eric is black. he's african. we see his home life and these family dynamics that non black people would never think about, and i think it's important that they be seen.

- otis shaving his pub3 stache.........

- aimee and maureen :3 aimee and maureen were so great honestly they deserve more attention. they're so wholesome and have grown so much i feel.

- aimee and maeve's friendship

- maeve BY HERSELF. i really like maeve honestly and i think that the mave x otis stuff really drowns out her true character. she's so accomplished and has so much depth and emotion. they touch on it briefly so many times, but it always ends up coming back to otis x maeve being the center of attention. im curious as to what theyre going to do with her character if there's a season 4 since she's in america

- adam and rahim's budding friendship as well as ola and adam's friendship which i hope we get to see more of again

Thomas Hewitt x Reader (Part 13)

Few hours passed, and everyone in the family was agitated. The atmosphere was grim as nobody knew what to expect. The boy definitely called for help, which meant someone would discover your whereabouts sooner rather than later. You were puzzled about your situation, as you finally admitted your feelings to yourself. You loved this man in a way, and you were determined to help him when he would need you… By killing for him, you gave up your past life, and now your future was dim as well.

If they found you… maybe they would assume you weren’t in the right mental state to control yourself and that you were forced by this family to participate in the killing to survive yourself… but what would happen to Thomas? To Luda? You didn’t want anything bad happening to them. For safety measures, you decided to get Thomas to your room upstairs. Hoyt and Luda both helped you as Thomas could barely walk. He was incredibly lucky that the guy didn’t hit the artery in his thigh, or he would’ve bled out.

You sat on the bed next to Thomas and looked at his tired face.

“Tommy…” you whispered as you held his hand and smiled at him.

He was on the verge of crying… not because of all the pain. Because he felt loved without prejudice for the first time in his life and despite the circumstances, he was genuinely happy. Your presence made him forget how cruel life could be. Everything he went through was worth it if it led to meeting you. You could see how lost in his thoughts he was.

“What are you thinking about, Tommy?” you asked curiously. He just kept staring at you.

“Me…” you wondered.

Thomas nodded, happy that you got it. He was sad that he couldn’t talk with you normally. There was so much he wanted to tell you, ask you… he wanted to get to know you better. He just knew your name, your kind heart, but he never got the chance to learn more about your past life, your family, your hobbies. But maybe it was for the better as he was already feeling guilty for the way you two met and how you were forced to stay with him. Thomas frowned and looked away. He didn’t like to think of you as a victim. He wanted you to be part of the family.

“What’s wrong?” you were worried that he was feeling worse.

Thomas closed his eyes and sighed. When he opened his eyes again, his gaze shifted towards the cuff, making it impossible for you to leave this room the first few days.

“Oh, that…” you immediately understood what was going through his mind. It was true, his family did indeed kidnap you and planned to kill you.

“You know Thomas, I admit, I wasn’t happy about my situation and that I had to be locked up here. But it wasn’t your fault… you were always nice to me.” You explained your feelings to him.

Thomas wasn’t pleased with your answer, and you could tell.

“Okay… well…” you mumbled, trying to find the right words. “It’s fate.” You finally let out. Thomas questioningly raised his eyebrow.

“It was predestined for us to meet this way.” You explained. “Me going on a road trip with people that didn’t even like me that much, getting into that accident, me waking up in the basement alive. Wait, that’s true, why you took care of Chloe first?” your train of thoughts was finally interrupted by a realization that Thomas could’ve killed you before you had a chance to wake up. Thomas really wanted to explain himself. He liked the thought of it all being fate.

“Hmmm…” you looked around the room and then reached for a pen and paper from your suitcase. Thomas was eager to take it from you and began writing. After a few minutes, he handed the paper to you. It was very hard to read, and there were many mistakes, but you could make it out.

“My ma told me you were nice, so I should kill you quickly and painlessly. I couldn’t bring myself to. You were pretty and looked so innocent, hard to butcher. Another girl was screamin at me, said I am ugly monster. I wanted you to do the same when you wake up to make my job easier…” Thomas was clearly embarrassed by his messy writing and poor grammar, but you thought it was adorable. You looked back at Thomas and leaned towards him with a smile.

“See, all fate.” You whispered and gave him a soft kiss, but he held you close and began kissing you back. When your lips parted as you needed air, Thomas pulled you closer to him. You snuggled on his side, careful not to touch any of the wounds.

“Do you want to know something about me?” you asked when you realized that you knew a lot about Thomas’s life while he didn’t know anything about yours. Thomas happily nodded, as he didn’t feel so guilty for now, because he was content with all being destiny. You started rambling about your past, what you did for work, and what hobbies you had in your free time. Thomas carefully listened, trying to remember every single word. He loved hearing you talk about yourself.

You spent hours in bed, just talking, well you were the one talking. Thomas occasionally wrote something to respond. The danger of being discovered by the police fading from your mind as you enjoyed each other’s company. After you were done talking because you basically told him everything, Thomas wrote: “I am sorry.” He knew that as long as Hoyt is here, you won’t be able to see your family. It was hard for Thomas to defy any member of his family because he was taught to obey everyone his whole life.

“It’s okay, Tommy…” you assured him that you didn’t mind, at least for now. You hoped that after being here long enough and proving yourself even more trustworthy, you would be able to return to your past life… maybe take Thomas with you. You heard footsteps, and then Luda stepped into the room with bandages.

“It’s time to clean ya up, m’boy.” She announced.

“I can do it.” You offered your help as you got up from the bed. Luda glanced over at Thomas only to see the nod of approval and handed the bandages over to you along with disinfection.

“I got it in the shop today.” She explained.

“Thank you, Luda.” You gave her a warm smile.

“I’ll bring dinner upstairs for you in a minute.” She said as she disappeared in the hallway and went back to the kitchen. You turned to Thomas, who tried to sit up. “I’ll be gentle, but please let me know if it hurts.” You said and shifted your attention to his wounded shoulder first, as it was easiest to reach. Thomas hissed in pain.

“Sorry, sorry.” You panicked a bit as you disinfected the gash, but Thomas looked you in the eyes and caressed your cheek. This man… big and dangerous was so gentle and vulnerable in front of you. Your heart fluttered every time he touched you.

“You are so brave, Tommy.” You admired his strength. Both emotional and physical. “You know, it’s imposing.”

Thomas was confused. What did you mean by that?

You giggled and then explained: “Everything you went through, Luda told me. I think you are amazing, despite everything people did to you; still, you have such a kind heart.” Thomas completely melted. He didn’t understand how someone so perfect could give him honest compliments. Thomas was still very self-conscious. As you tenderly tended to his other wounds, you saw the already healed scars on his body—some on his torso, a lot of them on his arms. Your expression saddened at sight, and Thomas noticed. There were some bigger scars, you knew that those were probably from the victims, but there were also ones with a certain pattern. You ran your fingers across them. Thomas flinched as he wasn’t used to someone touching him, especially his scars. It was his secret, his bad habit.

“You did that?” you asked with glassy eyes, even though you knew the answer. Thomas nodded and looked away in embarrassment.

“I’ll make sure you never have a reason to do that ever again, Tommy. I will always be here for you.” You grabbed his hand and gently kissed each and every scar.

Thomas’s eyes widened; he was stunned. He expected you to condemn him or mock his weakness, but your reaction was something else. Again. You were so special, different from anyone else. You loved him for him. Thomas wrapped his arms around you and embraced you in a tight hug. He hid his face, and tears streamed down his cheeks. All the pent-up pain in him, leaving his body as you ran your fingers through his hair and kissed his neck.

kard are awesome bc theyre a co-ed group and they generally dont subscribe as much to kpop industry's purity culture as much, loona i found bc their song heart attack is gay af and the rest of their songs are amazing, dreamcatcher are more rock leaning and when they started out they had a HEAVY horror concept, love that from them, their song deja vu gives serious gay vibes too, a.c.e i found bc i like techno and edm as well and they started out leaning into the genre, theyve moved on from it by now tho, theyre still talented af and i do try to keep up with them as much as bts, the rose are a band in the more traditional sense, they each play an instrument and stuff, and have LOVELY songs, day6 and rolling quartz are also traditional bands, rq are more new tho and more rock leaning than the others i'd say, straykids are awesome, they did the opening and ending for the tower of god anime (which i recommend as well sdkhjksd), blackpink is another of the groups i try to keep up with as much as bts but they dont put as much music out or as often as bts does and im conflicted about it bc 1, the kpop industry is just insane about that, and 2, it means they get more time to rest and produce quality content but 3, their company has other artists that DO put out music pretty often and it generally feels like they just dont care about them (stinks of misogyny too) so yeah, enhypen debuted with a vampire concept and it was just fantastic, heavy twilight vibes on their debut mv, sinc then they havent really abandoned the supernatural concept, twice are insanely good and i would stan them but theyre very active and ive got no energy lmao, the others i mentioned i dont stan either but theyre super good, taemin, alexa, holland and wonho are soloists btw, holland is gay and he's producing a BL and starring in it with han gi chan who acted on where your eyes linger

When you had figured out you had a crush on a gangster, you knew there were risks.

So you can imagine your own disappointment in yourself when you realized the gangster you liked was the Ultimate Gangster. A Kuzuryu. You fell in love with a Kuzuryu.

But oh lord did you fall deep.

You were already friends with Natsumi, you were used to dealing with the overly aggressive and arrogant front from your brothers. So becoming friends with the girl was easy. Hajime didn’t see how you were able to do such a thing, but appreciated it since it meant he had to break up less fights between her and Sato.

But then there was the day you met the older brother of the (self-proclaimed) Ultimate Little Sister.

The boy hated you at first, especially when he saw what looked to be a gang symbol on that jacket you wore almost all the time. But he mostly hated you due to his overprotective nature of Natsumi. Even though he wouldn’t say it out loud, it was painfully obvious that he was simply looking out for her. You understood, of course. Your own older brother was like that constantly when he was alive. And now that you were the oldest sibling, it was your job to be that way with your other brother.

After a little while though, he learned to not pay much mind when he heard your motorcycle come up to the school. Or when he would see you next to Natsumi. Nor when she would bring you up in conversation like you were the only one she actively hung out with. Through further investigation, he found this was exactly the case. It took longer than he would’ve liked, but he found that Natsumi only had one actual friend. And that was you. That’s when he started to appreciate you a bit.

However, he noticed rather quickly that she only ever used your first name. She never mentioned your last. This made Fuyuhiko suspicious, but he figured she didn’t want your name out amongst the clan.

After Natsumi died, the boy began to see and hear of you even more often. Apparently you had made friends with Peko at the funeral, which he certainly did not expect. He didn’t even realize she had invited you to the funeral by demand of his father. But it was that fact that got him to finally take an interest in you.

Your first meeting that wasn’t a simple wave from you followed by a scoff from him was when you were with Peko in the dojo. He watched the two of you train and meditate, not saying too much until you mentioned your little brother. You had an angry little sibling, that’s how you became friends with Natsumi...

So naturally, that’s what he brought up when the three of you left. You and Fuyuhiko were walking next to each other to your motorcycle home while Peko went her respective route (as to not be connected as Fuyuhiko’s bodyguard). The two of you got along well, surprising the short boy. You could handle his anger issues and calm him down just as well as you did with his sister.

Eventually it had gotten to the point where you got along too well. Which is what lead to today...

You found yourself running out of the reserve course building faster than Hajime even. He watched you run off with a chuckle, wishing you luck on your mission. What was that mission exactly? Confessing your feelings to a certain yakuza.

You had met up with Peko earlier that day, she helped you prepare the letter and cookies. She then took them to her classroom and placed them on Fuyuhiko’s desk. When he had first seen the two, he immediately asked Peko who put them there.

“I did.” She said nonchalantly before quickly adding, “I was asked to by someone.”

Fuyuhiko raised an eyebrow, curious as to why she hadn’t given a name. He knew it couldn’t be from Peko, he would’ve seen her make the cookies. He also knew she wouldn’t deliver him anything that was unsafe, so he opened the letter before the bag of sweets.

Before you ask, you do know me, but I’m not telling you who I am just yet. All you need to know for now is that I really like you, I have for a while. Even before we met, I admired you from a distance, which is kinda embarrassing to tell you.

If you‘re at all interested in who sent you this, I’ll be waiting at the fountain between the reserve and main course buildings. Hope to see you there... <3

Now this got the gears in Fuyuhiko’s head turning. Someone liked him? Why? How?? Who???

Peko refuses to tell him either, using the excuse “you said I don’t work for you while at school” with a small playful smirk. He wanted to yell at her but it was Peko, he just can’t bring himself to yell at her.

He spent the rest of the day trying to figure out who sent it. It wouldn’t be anyone in class cause Peko put it there. He wasn’t close with many others in different classes. Part of him thought it was someone in the reserve course because it said to meet them between the two course buildings. Except Y/n was the only one he was close with in the reserve course, plus they were the only person to call him “Fuyu”. But there was no way they liked him back... right?

So he went with the only option he had, he was going to see who gave him this letter.

You sat there at the fountain. Hajime had told you it’d be a good place to meet up with Fuyuhiko, since he often sat here with Chiaki. He told her to meet him somewhere else today for you. So here you sat, waiting for someone who may not be interested in coming.

Just as you were considering giving up and going home, you caught a glimpse of a short blonde boy in a main course uniform.

“Y/n..?” He sounded like he didn’t believe you were there. You gave an awkward wave.

“Did you like the cookies?” Your voice was light as he walked up to you, standing only a few feet away.

“Yeah.. they were really good..”

Fuyuhiko’s face was slightly scrunched, like he was thinking about something serious. It left you concerned but you didn’t know what to say. Instead there was a short and kind of awkward silence. It was deafening. After about a minute, he voiced his thoughts.

“You realize how dangerous this is, right?”

Your head tilted in question, making the boy sigh.

“Don’t.. get me wrong, Y/n. I... I-I really like you too.” Your face lit up for a moment, making his next words hard for him to let out. “But.. I’m a yakuza- the heir to the most dangerous gang in Japan.. people are gonna target you. I can’t have that.” He let out another sigh.

Your own face contorted into one of slight confusion. It slowly turned into amusement, causing you to cover your mouth to let out a stifled laugh. Fuyuhiko looked back up, clearly irritated.

“What the fuck are you laughing at?!”

His angry voice was amusing to you and made you laugh even more. This only pissed the boy off further. He stepped forward again and grabbed you by the shoulders, bringing your face close to his.

“This fucking is serious, Y/n! I don’t want to get some call that someone has you hostage! I don’t want to make you go into hiding cause someone threatened to hurt you! I don’t want to end up with you beaten to a pulp! I don’t want to find you dead in a warehouse cause they want to get back at the Kuzuryu clan! I just fucking can’t! Not after.. not after Natsumi..”

His hurt words forced you to calm yourself down. You took a breath and brought your hands from your mouth to his face, his freckled and blush-marked cheeks in your palms. A reassuring smile was steady on your lips.

“Fuyu, what’s my last name?”

The question took him off-guard for the third time that day. He knew Natsumi never mentioned it, neither did Peko. Why did this matter?

“I-I don’t know,” he answered honestly anyways. His eyebrows furrowed in frustration as he waited for a response.

“Owada.”

Fuyuhiko froze for a second. Owada? As in the biker gang Crazy Diamond?? How did he not figure that out??? Your motorcycle, the jacket you almost always wore, hell even the mention of your dead older brother and alive younger one should’ve been a hint.

It took him a minute to realize why you would bring that up. You had protection from that sort of thing. You were used to being targeted. You could defend yourself with ease. You weren’t gong to end up beaten to a pulp or dead in a warehouse like he had feared. You could take care of yourself even with all the violence surrounding gangs, cause you were the coleader of one. Or at least, your brother was the leader and the gang would protect you.

Once again, you let out a small laugh at his facial expression. It had snapped him out of his thoughts before he angrily grabbed you by the collar. He gave one last look into your happy eyes before kissing you.

To say it was inexperienced was an understatement. But you couldn’t care less, this boy was yours. He felt you soften up and let himself do the same, relaxing into the feeling of your connected lips.

Pulling away, you could see the smile on his face grow wide and the red on his face spread even wider. Both of you stood there for a while, simply staring into each other’s eyes. That is until you heard the engine of a motorcycle in the street.

“Y/n!” You let out a sigh and turned to your younger brother with a deadpan face.

“Mondo, I’m in the middle of something here.”

“You can have your fuckin kissy-face shit later, right now the dudes n chicks are wondering where their soon-to-be former leader is! You’re late for your step down party!”

Step down party? Fuyuhiko decided not to question it too much, he’ll probably ask about it later though.

Mondo stood from his bike and took a few strides towards you and the short boy, causing Fuyuhiko to look around to see if Peko had followed him like she usually did. And of course, she had, right behind the bushes surrounding the fountain. He turned back to see you next to your brother, smacking the back of your his head and messing up his pompadour. He looked like he wanted to smack you back but he knew he’d be in some deep shitif he tried. You turned back to Fuyuhiko, kissing him on the cheek lightly.

“I gotta head back, but I was thinking maybe I could get you a ride around town on my bike tomorrow? Like as a first date maybe?”

His smile couldn’t be wider.

“Yeah, I’d really like that- but don’t fuckin crash and kill me!”

“Just cause I’m stepping down as leader for Mondo doesn’t mean I won’t know how to drive a motorcycle anymore, Fuyu!”

He smiled as you let out a final laugh, turning towards the motorcycle Mondo had driven as getting on the backseat. Said brother tried to turn and yell at Fuyuhiko one last time.

“Hurt them and I fuckin swear-”

“-Mondo shut the fuck up and get on.”

“Peko, you’re not killing my partner’s brother.”

Some thoughts about the new episodes of SU. Spoilers ahead!

So, “A single pale rose” and “Can’t go back” just aired and boy did they fuck up a lot of things. Actually just the first one did but we’ll get into that soon.

First things first. 

I think “A single pale rose” answered one question  but opened up like a million more. 

Don’t get me wrong I’m glad for the people who had their theory proven but it completely fucks up all we were told before. 

My questions, post A single pale rose are these: 

1) How on Earth can a gem change it’s gem placement when it was established that they can’t. And the excuse that she’s a diamond doesn’t work because we were not told the Diamonds could alter their form so much. We could have been told via Blue and Yellow, but no. 

Take the episode where Amethyst shapeshifts into Jasper: 

We can see here that she could replicate Jasper’s gem but not her color and she also retained her original gem. Sure, Diamonds may be able to bypass that but we were never told that. We assumed this was the rule for all gems. Especially considering the fact that Rose made such a big deal out of the fact that humans can be whoever they want to be whereas gems cannot because they are born into their role aka born to look and be who they were made to be. 

BUT if Pink Diamond can change her gem shape then gems can be whatever they want. No one could tell the difference. Right?

2) A diamond cut does not look the way Rose’s gem looks. Which means that when PD rotates her gem it should not have the facet of a Rose Quartz. That’s a little too convenient, if you ask me. 

3) We really need a timeline of the war. Right now we have no idea how PD managed to be both a diamond, with the duties it implies and Rose Quartz. Wouldn’t her subjects wonder were she is when she is RQ? Wouldn’t the other diamonds wonder where she was during that time? 

4) The revelation that Rose Quartz is Pink Diamond is bad, not because it isn’t a cool concept but because the execution sucks. This implies that Rose lied to everyone except Pearl. She lied to Garnet, and we see Garnet’s reaction in the preview for the next episode. She lied to all her gem allies, and she lied to GREG. She may have learnt to love him, sure, but she lied to him and had a baby with him then disappeared. Poor Greg would be crushed to know he really knew next to nothing about Rose. 

5) All the gem lives lost because PD wanted to live amongst humans. We know Rose at least felt guilty and tried to heal the corrupted gems, at least according to Garnet, but that could also be false. Remember, Garnet told the Off-Colors this story about how Rose rebelled, which, as it turns out is completely fake, so PD fabricated an entire mythos around her new persona and encouraged it. 

6) She bubbled Bismuth for all the wrong reasons. She didn’t bubble her because she thought shattering was wrong but because, most probably, she still cared for the other diamonds. But then, after the corruption and end of the war did she feel the same way? We don’t know.

7) Hoiw in the hell do the fusions we know, made with Rose Quartz, work exactly? When PD changed her gem did she somehow really transformed it into a RQ gem so that all the fusions would be that of  RQ gem and another gem? Cus Smokey Quartz and Rainbow Quartz are a little suspicious now. 

8) How in the hell could she shapeshift for thounsand of years without strain? Sure she’s a diamond but that doesn’t automatically answer all questions. 

Steven is half gem and his gem is PD’s and even he had trouble maintaining his form. 

9) How did no gem find it suspicious that RQ was the only one with healing tears? If they know the other RQ gems do not have this why wasn’t this a dead giveaway? Surely Yellow and Blue knew of PD’s powers INCLUDING healing tears.

10) Poor Pearl really did give everything to PD and PD went ahead and messed with her emotions.

11)PD is very selfish. She just wanted to leave her duties behind and become RQ without concerning herself with the repercussions this might have. How is this a morally grey character?

12) We were always told how Rose inspired everyone by telling them that they can be whatever they want to be. She accepted Garnet, she taught Bismuth she could be more than a builder. And I guess it ties in with the fact that she went from a Diamond to a RQ but it all kinda sounds iffy a bit. 

I could go on but there is really no point. 

Don’t get me wrong the episode was gorgeous, really nicely done but the twist is sooo bad. it really strips away the message the show was trying to imply before: that some people are not what they appear and that even though they’re not bad they might have to do something that goes against their moral compass, in order for the grater good to prevail. 

And I mean, the last time we saw PD she was a total brat but now we’re supposed to believe she somehow had a change of heart and wanted to rebel and start a new life? We needed some context for that. How and why that happen? Especially taking into account that she really wanted a colony.

And before I forget, PD had  a human zoo. A HUMAN ZOO. How did she not try to rescue them as RQ? Garnet said that the human zoo was made so that PD could aquire humans as trophies of her conquest.  Is this what Rose told her? If so why? 

You see? Tons of questions.

As for the episode “Can’t go back” 

It was nice. Liked the animation, the way they drew Lapis, the colors, but I thought, and bear in mind this is just my opinion, that the episode was pointless. 

Yes, it showed that Lapis really wants to go back and live on Earth and be part of that environment again. It shows that despite her fear she’d choose Earth. She even says that she’d rather be on Earth than alone on the moon, but safe. 

But then, she just flips out and runs away again. 

And I get it she has severe PTSD and of course I didn’t expect her to just go back to Earth but the episode could literally not exist and it would not change a thing. The only thing we learned is that Lapis misses the Earth and Peridot. Fair enough but we could have found that out another way.

I feel like the episode was just an excuse to show us what that orb from the Moon Station is and how it works. 

They still have no idea what to do with Lapis.
