watched space babies and the devil's chord today. i enjoyed space babies but not so much the devil's chord???? tho tbh i think that was because i was going into sensory overload and also my mum happened to be there and i was just like :) wow she will not be able to handle queerness on the level of a drag queen and is going to decide doctor who is shit now based on that and won't give ncuti gatwa a chance. but overall! i did really enjoy it. i love how much joy ruby gets from it all, and how the doctor responds to that. it's genuinely adorable to watch them giggling together and running around

#there were definitely bits i didn't like. like the maestro mentioning the one who waits. whoever that is. sorry to be a hater but i wish #the season wasn't literally bitesize and that there was time to have some regular adventures before hitting us with warnings of what's to #come. also i've never been a fan of musicals so i cringed a lot. but that's just a matter of personal taste. and again. sensory overload #doctor who #doctor who spoilers #i think the episodes were okay. they were enjoyable. they didn't blow me away tho #i had to go into a idk how many hours nap to recover from the devil's chord sensory overload. episode that left me feeling like i'd been hi #by a train for some reason. probably cause i was up since around 4 because of work and watched the episode around 2pm #oh!!! also!! susan mention!! fucking ate that up! fuck yeah! mention your granddaughter king!

Conventional nightmares are scary but I think it’s the unrealistic ones that are the most scary

#the conventional ones I have are ones where people try to kill me or I kill people or do other bad things to them #or other bad things happen to me that could happen irl. but euhgh #I had such a weird nightmare #I WSS like ? on a weird ship thing with extended and being gay was like. not allowed but. I was gay anyways #and I hid it pretty well until like. suddenly at a huge fancy family dinner like? I was hashtag exposed and I tried to be like no please noo #but they were like TO THE HELL DIMENSION WITH YOU!!!! and I got sent to … s dark room with a stage and.. prom decorations?#there were other people and stuff and people onstage preforming the same thing over and over but I sat in the back bc I was pissed #also I was a borzoi. important detail😭 I remeber it because I always had to swish my tail off the chairs so I didn’t sit on it #anyways I was pissed as fuck. hal was there (the person not the character) and I was maaaaaad and it for some reason and I feel kinda bad #glitch was telling me yea ur in hell with (PEOPLE WHO DID REALLY HORRIBLE AWFUL THINGS. like. really bad.) and I was like awesome. kys #and it was like OK. don’t be like that let’s go sit at the chairs up high by the stage. and we sat on the same chair all squished ��#everyone also had a small pack of plastic dinosaur beads that are. identical to ones that I have. and he talked to me as I fiddled with them #I was reallyyy scared because there were fucking. really dangerous people also apparently I was supposed to rot here forever.eventually hal-#-got up to strech and so did I and I sat back down ready for him to sit with me and he was like no. and I was like :? and it was like. the #the house. then glitch pointed to a small plastic house in the room like the ones for kids to play with outside and I was like oh :(#cos I thought he was leaving me and I got really sad because he was like. the only #good thing there. but it was like no. come #and I didn’t hear and I kept moping and he was like COME WITH. and I was like omg it’s talking to me. It has been A Day

#text post #i think i deserve a gold star for housework today #i got a load of towels started #started a load of dishes #vacuumed the whole house #and cleaned the vacuum #all by like 9am #i also started to clean the toilet but got distracted by cleaning the vacuum #so husband finished it for me #then i got a text 2 hrs before my shift saying we were closing at 2pm because they couldn't find a pharmacist for the afternoon #so i went in early and busted my butt #only for a new pharmacist to show up like 10 min before 2 #which is great because now tomorrow wont be a disaster #but not so great because i didn't bring lunch because i was expecting to only work 3.5 hours today #now everyone else is going home once i get back from lunch #and it will be just me and the pharmacist #against the world #oh and im pretty sure i have a uti #yay!

I can put my foot behind my head, touch my thumb to my wrist, bend my neck to touch my spine, and can move my shoulder joint down further than it should :)

Probably should have brought this up to my pain management dr today but sgdgdggd what would he do ab it besides say "don't do that." ?

#marquilla #also overheard him say to another patient (bc the walla are so fucking thin it feels like a hipaa violation) that he doesnt prescribe #narcotics unless you're end of life stage diagnosis bc then it doesn't matter how it affects the body and it wont like ruin your life if you #get addicted bc you're dying. basically saying those meds are for making you as comfortable as possible before you die and #while you're living you must suffer i mean use other options sgdgdgdgdg #and i get his point though bc of the opioid epidemic HOWEVER i do believe some people do need them while they're living life #TO be able to live life #im not there yet but would it kill yall to give me some low risk painkillers for flares 😩#i had a drs practitioner give me two GREAT meds once but they sent me into an allergic reaction and now those have to be reportef #on every allergy chart bc they could kill me (: anyway i went back and was like they worked great til i had a reaction could we try #something else? she got really apologetic for the reaction (understandable but also not your fault man! you're good!) and said no talk #to your reg dr when she gets back. she said no :))))#idk where im going with this sggdgdgdgd i think bc im in a flare rn im just like ughhhhh #bc i took 600mg advil and 500mg tylenol at 2pm and im still in pain 😩 and its too wide spread for salonpas 😩😩😩😩#i hate the opioid epidemic for several reasons but one is bc now you cant even ASK for pills without getting the side eye and told to just #do yoga about it or take aleeve 🙄 bitch ive tried!!#sgdggd the nurse was like how long have you had this pain? 13 or 14 years. she was like oh jeez 😬 agdgdgdg like tell me about it man

So I knew my dentist appointment was at 2pm today. I have it *written down* on my phone's calendar as 2pm. SOMEHOW I convinced myself last night that the appointment was at 10:45am today. I have NO idea how. So when I called them just now and said I had gotten a voicemail yesterday (i missed their call) asking me if I wanted to change the time of my appointment, and they said 'yes someone canceled and we wanted to see if you wanted the earlier, 12:30pm time, instead', I got so confused because I was sure the appointment was 10:45AM, how is 12:30PM earlier??, and the guy was super confused too and checked with someone else and was like your appointment is 2pm.. I'm like Oh DUH I KNEW THAT! I did! Gah sorry!!!!

Why brain, why.

#i THINK that when i first made the appointment it may have been 10:45am? and then they asked to change it to 2pm? or something?? but i only #have it written down as 2pm!#and its Not my other dentist appointment coming up bc that one is 10AM. not 10:45.#brain fail big time i feel so bad i confused the shit out of the guy #also i tried to text my mom to ask her if 12:30 worked for her at the exact moment that she came tothe stairs and called up asking if i was #awake yet and reminding me to call and i had to mute myself and be like I'm on the phone!!! and she walked away before i could be like #'i texted u- check your phone!!' or just ask her if 1230 worked. she went to get dressed and apparently didnt check her phone when she got #back to the bedroom aand i was still on the phone so i was like uhhh yeah 1230 is fine sure i guess?#and turns out its possibly problematic idk #oh well she can drop me off and go do what she needs to #actually can i get there by bus? hmm

I really was a different beast 3 years ago. the start of the chronic pain and other mystery illness symptoms, the 1 year anniversary of my grandma's sudden death and the official start of the (still ongoing!) legal battle against my uncle over the inheritance, started and quit my first job because of the mystery illness, 6 months of being back in my childhood home where I experienced immense trauma over the years, feeling stuck and hopeless and throwing myself into traditional art and mtl at all times of the day to escape the inescapable pain, sleepless nights, and other such things

#wild shit #now i keep the same odd hours again. mostly because of the chronic pain still but also because of my working hours #really throws off your already broken internal clock when you work from 2pm to 9.30pm lmao #maybe one day i'll find out why i'm always in pain and feeling sick beyond the tired excuse of 'oh it's psychosomatic go to therapy '#my doc told me to go find a job and the pain will be gone. but guess what i can barely do a minimum wage 3-4 days a week job #AND I AM STILL EXHAUSTED AND IN PAIN EVERY SINGLE DAY LMAO #nothing went away just because i have a job now. it actually made some of the pain worse #also getting way more wounds and bruises from things that shouldn't give a healthy human wounds and bruises haha #anyway. reminiscing tonight

today was okay

Was feeling overwhelmed at work (long to-do list, busy day tomorrow), so I went for a walk on my lunch break. Walked by a kid’s party and a little boy ran out, yelled “I have a pinwheel” while holding it up for me to see, blew on it so it spun, and then ran away.

It was a really long day, but that kid made the biggest difference.

Also, dude, totally awesome pinwheel!

#a little kid at work showed me a mobile they made in class #yesterday another little kid showed me the floating home she build #and told me all about how they tested it in the water #it was pretty awesome #could honestly listen to little kids tell me about stuff they're excited about all day #kids #art school #i don't mind being busy #but i'm going to be away from my desk for five hours straight tomorrow #which means i won't be able to do all the remaining stuff i need to do until 2pm at the earliest #i've got to call twenty-one different kids for one of our programs #and i just know it's going to take forever #oh and i have to build next years schedules for all 75 of our faculty #but honestly #as crazy as work is #i love that i get to work with kids #and give them opportunities i didn't get when i was young #if only the adults i work with weren't so difficult
