hello!!! i was wondering, outside of the "playable" siblings, which characters have siblings that they've talked about/we've seen before?

Honami has a younger brother (age unknown). He is not named and rarely mentioned, and as far as i remember he has never appeared in any stories (unvoiced/no L2D obviously)

Minori has a younger brother in elementary school (6-12 years old). He is unnamed and doesn't have a L2D model, but has some unvoiced dialogue

Airi has a younger sister and an older sister. The younger sister is probably quite close in age to her given her interactions with a 7-ish year old Airi. I don't recall the older one ever appearing. Neither is named but the younger sister has unvoiced dialogue.

Toya has two older brothers. One is a professional musician (age unknown) and one is studying music at a conservatoire in New York (~19-early 20s). They might've gone to boarding school when they were younger and were never really present in Toya's life. They are not named and have not appeared in the story.

Emu has two brothers who are significantly older than her and work managing PXL (Keisuke, ~31 & Shousuke, ~28), and an older sister (Hinata, ~21) who is in college

Mizuki has an older sister called Yuuki (22) who is studying at university in France

Rakunosuke had an older brother. He is presumably dead.

Every other MC is an only child or their sibling is another MC. NPC-wise, there's the Kotakis and the Yoshizakis. Kotaro has a much younger brother who is still a toddler. Sakurako is confirmed to be an only child, but other than that there's no confirmation for anyone (a lot of them are probably only children though). As far as I remember, no one is stated to have an aunt or uncle either.

Of course there are ships I enjoy (ex. Kacchako) but like........ I've noticed I don't dedicate ANY of my time really to caring about ships anymore. Art or writing wise. UNLESS it is a ship that from my perspective, is so disrespectful toward both characters that I will go on muting/blocking sprees whenever it crosses my dash (//cough cough Dabi and the bird COUGH COUGH//).

SO WEIRD!!!!! I used to really enjoy shipping, but I think this might just be because if the canon material gave me nothing, then I felt like I was always doing the characters a disservice.

Which is probably why I prefer OC x Canon, because an OC forces me to engage, form ideas, and try to figure out how that Canon character could even remotely fall in love with an OC (mine, or someone else's).

Too many ppl out there shipping characters that canonically dislike one another, as if their dislike for one another is just secret "I love you's" instead of an actual representation that.... they literally don't like each other 🤣🤣🤣

This is why I will never make it as an author LMAO my tolerance for shippers will actually be zero and I would be blocking ppl left and right and extremely hostile toward my fanbase HAHASODFHAOUDSFHOUAD

I know I complain about this constantly but it frustrates me whenever I need to edit a template to say "the engineer. She....". Instead of "the engineer. He.....". When it's a female engineer. I don't think anyone else has ever changed the pronouns but IDK! I think we should stop using "he/him" pronouns as the default for engineers on official documents!

Our office is rare in that it's 50% women in engineering so idk why we put up with this.

I know this is a small thing but it frustrates me. I'm really not supposed to edit these letters but I can't help myself with this.

I've got some Supacell stuff queued up for tomorrow, but since I've also decided I'm going to talk about it for a video later, I just feel like sharing these miscellaneous thoughts as well.

Somewhat random, but as a short older sister myself, I have to wonder, am I the only one who kept getting surprised by how small Sabrina actually was compared to the guys? For some reason it didn't fully hit me, until she stood next to Rodney at the hospital. Maybe it's because most of her scenes were with her sister or patients lying down, but the actress definitely makes Sabrina feel like a taller person. And then you see her scolding Tayo...

Also, obviously in season one Michael and Dionne's romance was at the center of the story, which I loved, but to put my shipping goggles on for a second for potential other couples, I kinda could see some seeds planted for Sabrina and Rodney. Mostly because their personalities would balance each other out, and I feel like they ended up being alone together multiple times in the latter half of the season. Plus I enjoyed how he cheered her on for being violent. IDK, maybe that's just me as well.

Lastly (for now) I'm definitely interested in the potential dynamics between Andre, Tazer, and Rodney, because the three of them definitely have to deal with class in a different way than Sabrina and Michael, and since Andre is a father, Tazer kinda serves as a cautionary tale for him and his son AJ. And, because we know Rodney's mother is white, that means his missing father was the Black parent, so how they'll relate to each other could give us some good stuff.
