Kinktober 18/10/2024 Max Verstappen - Mutual Masturbation

Plot: You and Max too tired to actually do anything, decide that mutual masturbation is the way to go after a tricky race weekend.

He’d gotten no points, and ended up behind Yuki Tsunoda who’d defended from him brilliantly for the entire race.

When Max came out, after driving the car for 2 hours and all of the media commitments and team jobs he had to conduct afterwards you both got on his private jet pretty done with the day.

You got home to Monaco, and you were both really silent which was kinda rare for Max. Despite what most people think this man can talk for hours, especially to you when you are such a good listening and love the sound of his husky and burnt sort of voice when he spoke both English and Dutch.

You guys had a routine that was never changed no matter how tired you guys were once you got back from a race weekend.

Step one: Get the cases into the house.

Step two Part A: Max separates clean from dirty into piles

Step two Part B: You take the shoes and toiletries and dish them out to where they need to go.

Step three Part A: Max puts a wash on

Step three Part B: You take the clean clothes up and hang them in the wardrobe or fold into draws.

Step four Part A: Max hoovers, Jimmy and Sassy, and then your British Shorthair Lila have all been there moulting in the summer heat.

Step four Part B: You wash out the cat bowls and place down new food

Step five: Make dinner together

And that was how you always did it. You always each took those chores and got on with them. Usually you spoke to each other across the apartment while you were doing it but this time a comfortable silence was with you apart from the cat interruptions every now and then.

After that you guys let the dishes in the sink before alternating showering and getting ready for bed. You both climbed into the fresh bed with the nice sheets rather than the hotel sheets that regardless of the hotel rating always seemed to make you feel kind of odd.

Usually at this stage Max would turn on a film before fucking you into the bed, you clutching into the pillow that your face is smushed against while he thrusts in and out of you deeply.

It was a normal night for Ladybug. She was patrolling like usual when she encounters Lila. Not wanting to be annoyed by the liar she goes to leave only to stop when Lila calls for help as three large men run after Lila. Not wanting Lila to lie about the incident, she quickly moves and take them down, she turns to Lila and reprimands her… only for her to be fully confused on what she was talking about to her.

After some back and forth, Ladybug finds out that she’s the REAL Lila Rossi “I was kidnapped years ago, then a day after I was taken a girl who looked just like me and was wearing the clothes they took from me left and took my place” Lila explained which shocked Ladybug greatly.

She decides to take Lila to the police station to explain everything that happened, after a while, her mom runs in and confirms the story while crying over the fact that she was tricked this whole time by a fake. Lila then revealed that the fake her was part of a group of kidnappers who swap their targets with fakes to not only steal their identities… but also anything valuable and money, Lila also gives the names of other people who were swapped not just in Paris but in Italy too.

Over the course of the week, Ladybug helps the police to rescue the kidnapped victims while also working to expose Fabiolla (alias Chameleon) with all the evidence they collect against her. As Marinette, she watches Fabiolla lie about her to her classmates once more, she documents all of the lies, everything the class does to her and all of the threats made to her to turn in to the police.

Then the day comes when Fabiolla is arrested, all of her crimes are revealed as the real Lila walks in with her mom to watch her get taken away, the class is shocked and confused that day. When the court date arrives… the class is divided, half defend Fabiolla while the other half defend Mari, in the end Fabiolla is sent away to face her sentence.

The class does try to go apologize to Mari but lawyers stop them as they are all served with lawsuits, bills for everything they had her make and bake for free and restraining orders before walking away as the class screams out her in anger about her being a monster like Fabiolla claimed she was. In the end, their parents knew and forced them all to pay Mari back or they would be punished for not paying her back… they were already reprimanded for what they did to her so they had no choice in the matter.

The entire case about Fabiolla and the class that bullied Marinette became famous, this caused the class to never be left alone since the case was so popular that everywhere they went someone pointed them out and they had no choice but to leave… meanwhile… Mari leaves Paris and travels to Gotham to work and gets engaged to Damian Wayne… and it was all because of Fabiolla…

Five Hargreeves and the expectations that comes with being the "favorite character".

S4 is the season that we got the most holes in the storyline, lack of explanation and even the erasure of existence of all Hargreeves, but definetly what shocked the audience the most was Five behaviour and his, until now, unknow tendencies of homewrecking.

I am not here to judge him, neither to defend, but to say what i have been seeing of the fans reactions and I got to say... Some of y'all claim to be his fans, but wish him a miserable life.

"BUT IT WAS SO OOC, S1 FIVE WOULD NEVER DO THIS!"

Yes, he would not, but a If there is something the show it's trying to show since s3 it's how tired Five it's from apocalypses, failed tentatives to save the world, having to save his siblings asses all the time, getting blamed about every bad thing that happend and never getting showed any appreciation with honorable exceptions of Klaus and Diego.

Five changed, pretty much like everyone, due to all his emotional baggage, which happens to be a bit bigger than the others cause of his age and the fact the his entire life was just chaos and loneliness.

The thing is, yes, Five would do anything for his family and that's what he has been doing for the last 45 years, even with little to no recognition. Unfortunately, all this loyalty placed him into a pedastal that it's dificult to keep up.

I even saw some people saying that "normal Five" would have gone to the train station by himself to not put anyone in danger. So that's what you want for him? To get stucked AGAIN completly alone for another 7 years of his life?

I saw people saying "How could he do that with Dolores?" Like, seriously? As much as i liked that whole mannequin- human romance, it's time for y'all to accept that Dolores is to Five what that volleyball ball was to Tom Hanks in Cast Away. Just a coping mechanism to not get crazy in a devasted world by himself, but that was not love.

You guys really think that his entire life it's suppost to just be there for his siblings and holding a mannequin when times get lonely, and that's it? How fucking depressing is that?

And not that being there for his siblings it's a bad thing, but then again, why it gotta be his responsability, always? Besides, when Will someone else be there for him too? I guess that's why he fell for Lila in that moment. She was febre for him as much as he was there for her.

And to be honest, a big part of me it's glad, that even for once, he decided to be selfish. For once he choose to allow himself to be in a calm and peaceful place not constantly worring about his siblings or the future of earth. He loved a real person and was loved back by them. He finally had the opportunity of trying to live as fully normal person, what he never had the chance before. It was a breath of fresh air that he deserved.

I know that Lila was definetly not the right person to have these amazing last moments with, but i am sure that If they had more seasons, they would come up with some new character to fill that up.

And even being Lila, It still made sense. In that moment, with that conection and after all they lived together, It still made all the sense.

The only thing that hurts me about this whole situation, it's that It literally costed his relationship with Diego and they stop existing without talking It out, cause there was no time for It (Steve Blackman, i hate you for this).

It's bittersweet, indeed, and just shows that he can't really have it all, but at least he got some moments of peace in this earth before getting ceased forever.

Alternate Season 3 ML Ending

I have been musing on an alt Season 3 finale that could catch the same general vibes while also perhaps serving as a culmination of Chloe's redemption arc efforts, Lila's whole 'thing' and while still shaking up the status quo as canons kind of did, here's what I have:

Post Ikari Gozen, there's a minor subplot in Party Crasher of Chloe trying to get in contact with Kagami who assumes its to shout at her about hero stuff. She's half right as at the end of the episode Chloe uses Adrien's mobile to lure Kagami in & says they need to talk, hero to hero.

Post Party Crasher, through The Puppeteer 2, a spin on Cat Blanc (Maybe) and Félix there's little scenes of them meeting to discuss their findings. These relate to feeling like Akuma are around them at night, finding Lila suspicious as fuck cos either Ladybug's bestie is too loose with details or Lila knows way too much and is trying to make Akuma happen.

They agree to keep watch over Marinette. Barring Chloe & Kagami, she seems to be her main target.

The next three episodes all fit together, with Heart Hunter first.

Heart Hunter changes:

Lila cuts the Bee Signal before the Akuma arrives, negs Chloe & then stalks Marinette, Adrien & Kagami.

When Kagami speaks to Ladybug she figures out its Marinette & while hurt at the sabotage date she still shares what she & Chloe think & they both realize today is an ambush.

Not having seen Ryuko, Chloe's not totally given into despair & upon claiming Pollen tries to fight Hawk Moth. She but gets injured reclaiming the Miracle Box & has to be saved by Kagami.

Hawk Moth & Mayura retreat with the tablet and Fu gives up being Guardian due to the strain of the battle nearly killing him.

Chloe's hospitalized as she tried to use Venom more than once. Ryuko is still upset with Marinette, Chat's upset about Chloe, Marinette is upset about Fu & feels incredibly alone.

A terrified Lila assures Hawk Moth she knows 'another' Miraculous Wielder and this one will break, Marinette.

Ladybug

Marinette tries to adjust to having all the Kwami with her & with translating the book.

Chat & other heroes are cycling in and out of Chloe's hospital room where she remains unconscious.

Despite going through a day from hell, Marinette still has to go to school the next day cos she can't even tell her parents what's wrong.

At school only Alya is present (She did her shift) Adrien's visiting Chloe as a civilian and Nino is (Sick) guarding Chloe.

Then everything goes to hell when Lila presents a video of Marinette stealing from her locker. They are sent to the principle.

Alya realizes something is sus.

Marinette 'can' get super jealous and see the worst in people but she isn't a thief. So Alya follows them.

She arrives in time to see Lila reveal an Akumatized appendage that jabs a needle into Marinette & sends her into a nightmare (Basically the rest of the canon episode) then tries to steal her ear rings.

Lila only gets one before Alya tackles the fuck out of her and then Lila starts vomiting up an Akuma that infests Marinette's remain ear ring much to her despair.

"I needed that!"

Cue half transformed, fully Akumatized Ladybug, partialy trapped in a nightmare despair mode going on a rampage.

The Battle of the Miraculous:

Lila flees, carrying Alya & a fading Tikki who explains Lila's being turned into an Akuma, & that they need to call in 'everyone', revealing IDs.

Hawk Moth sends Mayura and a fake Sentimonster Ladybug to get the Miraculous (Having realized Lila was covering for having figured out Ladybug's identity to steal the miraculous for herself) While he takes Marinette towards the hospital to kill Chloe & lure out Chat Noir.

Ryuko, Alya & a partially feral Lila defend the Miraculous Box, with the other heroes showing up to help after Mayura is driven off.

Lila also reveals Hawk Moth's identity, so Chat knows via phone call.

Chloe awakens in time to finish her redemption arc by basically goading Marinette & HK into focusing on her over Chat.

Nino catches Hawk Moth in a bubble shield and Chat has to destroy the ear ring to free Marinette & everyone gangs up on Hawk Moth.

He is un-masked publicly but manages to escape, despite Chloe's murder effort, thanks to unleashing a swarm of Akuma from Lila.

The Akuma are captured and purified before they can do much harm, but the Miraculous Cure is not working properly. The ear rings are only half usable at best. Worse, if they want to avoid Lila becoming a permanent Akuma she needs the remaining one to stay herself.

The heroes get Marinette out of the public eye before her ID can be revealed & she's allowed to have a good fucking cry. Adrien reveals his ID & he probably has a small breakdown too. But everyone resolves to go to the Agreste Manor & end things.

Sadly, Hawk Moth has fled, blowing up the manor and sending an Akumatized Gorrila to collect Adrien. Leaving behind only a weird basement ruin with no sign of his plans.

Epilogue:

Because of this, the Miraculous are divided up with their various users, though some are likely swapped or have other security precautions.

Until Marinette decodes the book & fixes Tikki's Miraculous she is left as Multi-Mouse and with a half functional Miracle Cure courtesy of Lila who 100% cannot fight but is hiding out with their crew anyway.

Hawk Moth is shown repairing the Peacock Miraculous and unveiling his Unification/Rebrand. Though where he is or who is harboring him is still a mystery. His identity may be publicly unknown to protect Adrien who has moved in with his aunt and cousin.

This leaves us with a massively shaken status quo, a full hero team, an empowered but no longer anonymous and much more personal villain, no more school rivals and no more mentors or secret identities among friend or foes.

my scrambled thoughts on TUA szn 4

(i wrote this in august as soon as it came out and it got lost in my endless sea of drafts) (if anyone still cares about this shows ending)

Alright guys, strap in, because I have thoughts.

I can't believe that's how they decide to end the entire show, with a season that leaves more unanswered questions than answered ones. I have TOO many thoughts on the entire season, and how so much of it essentially ruined the entire show.

First off, I understand that the characters were going to be coming into this season unbalanced and lost, considering they were all without powers and trying to create lives for themselves after being forced to constantly save the world over and over again. That would cause anyone to lose their minds a little bit and act out of character/ selfishly.

But Five....oh my GOD.

Listen. I know that people put a character like Five on a pedestal and kinda immortalize him because of the type of person he is. He's labelled as a cold hearted assassin whose soft protective side comes out only when trying to save his family. I get that people label him as aro/ace (which can make sense I suppose). But here's the thing. I don't think it was gross for Five to fall in love. I believe Five is fully capable of falling in love. I DO think, however, that #1: that the way they went about it was unnecessary, and #2: there were so many other ways to expand his character and show his softer and more vulnerable side!!!

When I first watched season 4 (binged it as soon as it dropped even though i tried very hard to not ITS ONLY 6 EPISODES CMON), I didn't...hate the whole Five x Lila thing (LISTEN SPARE ME PLEASE). On paper, these two characters are very alike and it's not completely far fetched for them to pair up. They were both trained assassin's and understood each other's trauma. When they stopped hating each other, they actually confided in one another and became a great duo. Granted, the duo was very much sibling or cousin-y, but still. I feel like if Aiden was older during season 2 and 3, and if he was stuck inside an adult body instead of,,,uh,,,A THIRTEEN YEAR OLD???? it would've been in the cards for the two to eventually get together. But here's the thing, it came so out of left field. The way the dynamic was due to the actors ages and appearances in the previous seasons, it was just not even a thought that crossed anyones mind (unless ur sick in the head). It kinda ruined the prior seasons for me because now I see them interact in those and I get a gross feeling, like oh they're bickering like siblings but wait....they end up getting nasty....IDK. I get the whole enemies to lovers, but you can't establish an iconic sibling pairing and then just make them do...that.

Note to the writers, people want a slow burn. We wanna see the process, the little things that lead to a relationship between two people. Even in the first few episodes they had Five and Lila together but it didn't feel like anything romantic was happening. It was just so sudden.

Here's the thing. The only reason I liked Five and Lila together was because of how Five was during the subway era. He really did get his retirement storyline, he had someone to take care of and he got to live this soft life, even if it was incredible short lived and also only due to proximity. I only wish that if they HAD to give Five a romantic story line that it wasn't fake, that it was actual real love that could happen. Also, as soon as episode 5 happened and Five and Lila kissed, I knew that the show couldn't have ended in a way where they all survived. I knew that that was the moment the writers decide to let them all go to shit, because there was truly no coming back from that.

I just think that they relied too heavily on montages to tell the passage of time to explain their behaviour, because that's kinda the only way you can defend how the characters acted. They just tried to fit too much content into 6 little episodes and it just became confusing. Even in the first episode, I wanted to see the characters adapt to their new surroundings, not just 6 years later when the next tragic thing occurs.

A storyline I wish we got to see with Five was him having a breakdown and not being able to handle the pressure of always fixing things, and having his siblings come to support him emotionally and allow for him to open up. I really wanted Five to open up about his trauma, and that could've been a great way for him to express that softer emotional side of him.

Here's the thing. People saying that it was so far fetched for him to fall in love is something I have to disagree with. I agree that they didn't need to include it, but it wasn't something out of character for him. TBH, I know his motivation is his family, but I don't think he would've survived his original apocalypse has he not had Dolores. That guy is a romantic through and through, and 100% has the capacity to fall in love. Not even that, he definitely deserved to fall in love. I just don't know if it was with his brother's wife.

Now, going back to the putting-Five-on-a-pedesal-thing, I do believe that Five finding happiness and love with Lila in the greenhouse timeline was more or less valid. Like, the guys been through so much, I think Five finding love in an unethical way doesn't mean that he's some horrible disgusting character. I'm more focused on Five's feelings than the repercussions his actions hold, if that make's sense. Of course it's devastating to see Diego find out, but still, Five got to experience love for the first time. And man oh man is he adorable when he's in love. The way he spoke to Lila with such softness even when they were fighting, the way he took care of her, THE BRACELET :((((, and to be so honest with y'all when they went back and they were all sitting in the living room, Five looking beyond angry and jealous truly did something to me. Maybe I'm just toxic....lmao.

(also side note I wanted to mention, I feel like the whole reason Diego and Lila worked is because Diego was the level headed one in the relationship. Detective Patch and Diego didn't work because (well she died but ALSO) he was the irrational one in that pairing. Patch saw him as crazy and immature. But with Lila, Diego grew into his protective and masculine side).

Overall, I think Five was acting selfish and self serving, something we haven’t really seen from him in the past seasons. He was prioritizing himself and his “relationship” with Lila when I know for a fact he never would’ve done that before this season. It just shows that he’d given up, which makes me so sad. He didn’t care about saving the world, he didn’t even really care about his siblings in the end. It makes me upset because you can visibly see the hope leave him as soon as he sits on the sofa with everyone and sees Lila with Diego, I feel like that was really his last straw. (Hey man I get it, first loves are tricky but come ON).

As for the ending, I was left truly unsatisfied and disappointed. For a family that had gone through so much together, they really just,,,ceased to exist. It would’ve been better if they died after a satisfying season of being there for each other and supporting one another and having heart to hearts but they didn’t. They all went on separate side quests and came back to die. There were too many other options and plot holes for me to even consider this ending they gave us.

This is not to say that I think this season was a waste. I really did enjoy the first few episodes, as they progressed it just started getting more confusing and they started adding unnecessary content. I loved the road trip aspect, and I have to give kudos to Aidan Gallagher, this was HIS season. His acting was truly one of the best performances I’ve seen, especially since his character is probably the trickiest one to play. I liked that this season got to show his range as an actor, seeing him be soft and sweet was honestly a nice change from his normal sassy self.

AnyWAYS the way I'm rereading this moths later and I still feel as strongly as I did in August sitting under the covers at 2am with my laptop screen being my only source of light as my heart dropped to my ass hearing "On the 12th hour of the 8th day of August 2024, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened" and realizing the show is truly over and we'll never get more content with the siblings.

I just freakin adore how Marinette managed to stand up for herself more in this season and despite her self-blaming never stopped she knows how to defend herself and knows how to sort things out and make difference what bad and what good things and people are and how her emotions evolved and how she's learning so much and everything I just love how developed her feelings are and how she can control them (not fully but she's trying guys she's still trying to think with her head first and heart second) and how this is both great and sad because a 14-year-old is not supposed to know so much already and IS supposed to spend the next two years collecting stickers and napkins and eat candies and have fun and she should be emotional - seriously us girls know how rough this age was emotionally - but she left me taken aback this season with her emotional struggle and how it's not at all as big as it used to be - she knows to judge both other people and herself when something goes wrong. Like how she takes no shit from Su-Han anymore and how she was mad at Alya and Nino, and how she does blame herself for Strikeback now but she doesn't make herself a victim even though she is she wants to know Adrien better because she doesn't want her feelings to be shallow and how she is (I already mentioned this two times already but it's so goddamn important) Lila's friend in public SHE'S DOING EVERYTHING IN HER POWER GUYS AND NO ONE TAUGHT HER HOW TO DEAL WITH STUFF GUYS NO ONE SHE IS LEARNING AS SHE GOES SHE IS THE ONLY PERSON MAKING THESE DECISIONS AND SHE'S SO GOOD. And my favourite thing about her is that she is always trying so hard to make things better whatever happens it's so amazing I love her so much. She doesn't deserve to be like this so young it's not fair but the way she is carrying it is amazing and honestly everyone who says she's not a good role model for young girls can suck it.

Literally the more I watch and the more I find out about this season I love her more and she literally has the biggest and most complex character development in the show and no one is talking about it. She inspired me so much one day I had a rough day at work and I cried for the rest of the day and I remembered her and I said to myself "Marinette would cry but she wouldn't give up and would give her all the next day and would keep fighting if animated child and handle loss so well so can you" she was the first person I thought about and I learned more from her than any other superhero ever and I know a lot of them. Literally both of her so-called mentors were useless as fuck when it comes to emotional burden the superhero life would bring her and no one prepared her for this and every season she is more unhinged but she's also more grown up and if she can get traumatised so often and learn a lesson to move on and become an even better person so can all of us. She's the best superhero for a reason.

Something just occurred to me...

And its barely Chloe-related! (shock, horror).

So basically, by the end of this season, there are eighteen, yes eighteen(!) full-time superheroes, right? Including: Pretty much ALL of Marinette’s classmates and passing teenage acquaintances (sans Chloe and Lila, of course).

My question is... has Marinette EVER considered the only one in her friend circle who she doesn’t know the identity of as a hero, the one who seems to be in love with her both in and out of costume and the one person she sees on a regular basis... could be Adrien/Chat Noir?

I know, it’s stupid, right? Considering they’re about a billion other plot holes and incidences of convenient stupidity the writers use just to get from A to B. But in view of the whole premise of the show seemingly resting on this obvious subterfuge, even if I was a kid I’d be pretty dumbfounded she hadn’t figured it out by now.

Now I’m sure there have been episodes that I’ve wiped from my memory where through the use of chicanery or shenanigans, Adrien has managed to be in two places at once to disprove this ‘clever’ idea in Marinette/ Ladybug’s head once and for all. You might even say it’s not important, and I should just ‘enjoy’ the show for what it is: a simple superhero cartoon for kids.

That’s the point though: I CAN’T enjoy it, obviously first because of legitimate issues I’ve had with the disgraceful treatment of my favorite character (guess who) but also down to the fact I honestly think it’s the biggest load of shit made from a great idea I’ve ever seen. Like taking a diamond, and using it to carve dog turds I suppose if you want a simple off-the-cuff analogy.

 Just reading the latest spoilers made me very sad, angry and confused that anyone could defend this mess by the time season 6 rolls around. Each to their own, but I think any audience member, whether they be 1 or 100 deserves to be treated with more respect than the absolute bilge the makers of Miraculous are shovelling. 

I would be bashing it relentlessly even if I WASN’T a massive fan of you-know-who, it’s simply breathtaking just how much the show plunges in quality with every passing season. And they say they want to give it at least eight?! That that doesn’t even include the ridiculous amount of individual spin-offs, Made-For-TV movies and live-action projects they have planned in the future? WOW. Compared to this overextension of property, even Spongebob seems a model of restraint.

The mind boggles at the cynical cash-grab of it all... but hey, if all that blatant rapaciousness for money over quality floats your boat, you’re welcome to it all. Just don’t ask me to understand your way of thinking, because I won’t. Ever. 

Sorry that I lapsed into one of my standard rants (come on, you know you love them), allow me to return to the original topic. The reason I pondered the issue of Marinette not even considering the fact that the love of her life and her superhero partner over 130 episodes might be one and the same is very symbolic to me of the show’s deeper problems. If it can’t even handle it’s central storyline right, how can you expect it to cope with anything else in this over-convoluted plot? The answer is, naturally: it doesn’t. 

In a better show, other elements might distract me from asking such a straightforward question, but seeing as there ain’t much of that here, my mind keeps returning to this one big query. And so far, I’ve yet to hear an acceptable answer. Any ideas, guys?

Still, looook over there! EIGHTEEN heroes eh, isn’t that something! All of which I’m sure will be fully-utilised and developed as part of the show’s core squad (something which the show has a SUPERB track record of), and all of course whom have various types of merchandise available NOW! And to show how brilliantly pre-planned everything is in advance, you can even get tons of limited edition Queen Bee stuff in all good shops already...

Shadow of the Midnight Mare

The village of Elderwood lay shrouded in mist each evening, its quiet cobblestone streets and weathered homes painted gray in the moonlight. For centuries, the villagers whispered of a haunting legend: a dark figure that prowled the edges of town under cover of night, a black horse with eyes that glowed like embers, flickering with a fire both fierce and unholy.

Few claimed to have seen it, but those who had could never forget the sight. In the stillness of midnight, when the world seemed to hold its breath, it would appear—a towering black mare, its coat as dark as midnight, sleek and silent. Its eyes glowed red, cutting through the mist with a deadly, otherworldly light that made even the bravest souls shudder.

The villagers spoke of the creature as a harbinger, a ghostly being from a time long past. It was rumored to be the spirit of a warhorse named Vengeance, ridden by an ancient warrior who once defended Elderwood from an invading army. In the heat of battle, warrior and horse were slain, a single arrow piercing them both as they charged into the heart of the enemy. But the warrior’s spirit had refused to rest. His soul had bound itself to his steed, determined to guard the village for eternity, though the cost was steep: he and the mare would forever roam the earth as a single cursed being, one that could never know peace.

No one dared approach the mare when it appeared, for its presence brought a chilling silence that froze the air. They said that those who looked into its eyes would see their worst fears reflected back at them—a darkness from which many never fully recovered. Some had been driven to madness, and a few had vanished altogether, lost to the fog and shadows of the midnight woods.

One night, a young woman named Lila, the daughter of a blacksmith, decided to uncover the truth behind the legend. She had grown up on the tales of the haunted mare and was both terrified and entranced by the creature. Driven by a strange sense of purpose, she waited by the old oak tree on the outskirts of the village, clutching a silver amulet her mother had given her for protection.

At the stroke of midnight, the mist thickened, and an eerie stillness blanketed the earth. Her heart pounded as she saw a figure take shape in the distance. The black mare emerged from the fog, tall and silent, its eyes blazing crimson in the darkness. The ground seemed to tremble beneath her feet as the beast moved closer, its nostrils flaring, hot breath rising like smoke in the chill of the night air.

Lila felt an icy fear grip her, but something stronger held her in place. As she stared into those burning eyes, she felt herself slipping away, her mind tugged toward a place darker than night. Memories she had hidden deep within her heart surfaced, images of loss and fear, of dreams left unfulfilled. The mare seemed to see into her very soul, exposing her deepest scars.

Just when she thought she might collapse, Lila remembered the amulet. Clutching it to her chest, she murmured a prayer, and to her amazement, the mare stopped. Its fiery gaze softened, and for a moment, she saw something else—sorrow, a deep, unending loneliness. In that instant, she realized the mare was not a monster but a guardian, bound to a curse it could not escape.

As the first light of dawn touched the horizon, the mare slowly turned and disappeared into the fog, leaving nothing but silence in its wake. Lila knew she had glimpsed a secret that no one else in Elderwood would believe, but she felt an inexplicable peace. The mare, she sensed, would continue its watch over the village, forever roaming the misty nights, a lone sentinel bound by duty and sorrow.

But from that night on, whenever the villagers spoke of the black mare, they did so with a sense of reverence. For some part of its darkness now held a glimmer of light—a memory of the girl who had dared to meet its gaze and had survived, forever touched by the shadow of the midnight mare.

What would you think if an evilized villain (maybe a wishmaker-like villain or maybe even a villain that's unrelated to the butterfly miraculous) caused Chloe and Zoe to switch bodies somehow, and nobody fully understands what's going on, so Zoe (in Chloe's body) is taken by Audrey back to New York, despite Zoe desperately trying to explain things. But Chloe enters a fugue state (heavily due to trauma caused by the neglect of her parents) and genuinely thinks she's Zoe, and is even able to recall many of the things Zoe did due to being in Zoe's body. The class thinks “Zoe's” change in behavior is due to the psychological effects of method acting, since “Zoe” is playing Chloe in Astruc's new movie, but they gradually convince “Zoe” to let them help her relearn how to be “herself” again. Meanwhile, in New York, Zoe is trying to get back to Paris, but when she gets there, “Zoe” thinks she’s there to try to hurt Marinette.

Eventually, after listening to ��Chloe”, Marinette starts to suspect that “Chloe” might be telling the truth, so she decides that she must test “Chloe” and “Zoe”. She fakes being in danger to see how they react. “Zoe” reacts slightly faster than “Chloe”, so Marinette comes to the conclusion that “Chloe” is lying and that “Chloe” has an evil and manipulative plan. Marinette thinks that “Chloe” must have picked up a few tricks from Lila, because she thinks no version of Chloe could possibly react faster than Zoe when it comes to protecting her.

She'd didn't spend anything. Last ep of S1 or Volpina. Tricks Ladybug and Cat with a Hawk Moth illusion. Causes Ladybug to consider giving up twice. Luckily Cat Noir saved her the second time.

S2 Heroes Day. Did the deed for the first part of Catalyst. Destroying happiness and hope on the reminder of her worst day.

Heroes Day Mayura. Watching Ladybug and Cat amongst Scarlet Moth and creating an illusion set up to get them. But Marinette's luckily cancelled that cause she saw the mirror of another Moth.

S3 Chameleon Returns and somehow extremely triggered Marinette and basically Marinette is cool with war with her or thinks it's a joke.

Oni Chan. she overhears Marinette and does what Marinette thinks is impossible to do just to flex. Makes Oni Chan redirect herself towards Ladybug instead of her. Made Hawk Moth fully certain she's some person to ally with.

Miraculer. Makes Chloe question her value towards Ladybug while helps Hawk Moth sets up what's to occur for Loveeater (Heart Hunter)

Felix. Lila is reason Gabriel and Nathalie caught Felix's attention thus Hawk Moth plans to exploit his friends and rid the unwanted guests.

Ladybug. Gabriel is riling Lila up on the task she's suppose to complete to keep bad influences away. So pretty later, Lila causes Marinette to get expelled and this would have been a wrap for Marinette since the scarlet akumas reached her if Scarlet Moth didn't stop because Nathalie was coughing.

Adrien got her to back off (or so she makes him think he has the advantage as she looks at Nathalie briefly) and get Marinette unexpelled only for Marinette to discover Lila's the new muse of the Agreste brand.

S4 Risk where Marinette is hurt over Lila being with Adrien to possibly go around the world. Girl watched that like 22 times before realizing she gonna be late for Adrien's last day for now.

S5 Multiplication where she's made as Alliance AI with Adrien.

That means Marinette will see Lila's face on tv as a hot topic. Or Marinette will be seeing her friends on people she knows or not with either Adrien or Lila AI.

Jubilation. Marinette gives her mom the alliance but forgetting that the Alliance has a Lila option.

Big F

Illusion Lila helping Gabriel by telling him of the resistance conspiracy against him. Pretty much being a spy the resistance doesn't know too.

S5 Perfection making Kagami question how much Marinette truly values her. Also doesn't help that Kagami ends up discovering Marinette was Ladybug the whole time.

S5 Protection. Gives Kagami a different view of Marinette and awareness of how Marinette and Adrien are breaking her. And knowing that he's under Marinette's spell. Gabriel is salty that Nathalie is foiling his plans so he's taking it out on Lila.

Despite Adrien seemingly blindly defending Marinette instead of the two of them admitting Marinette has flaws, it re-convinces Kagami to keep her bond with the two, even though it's damaging her as Lila knows and says.

Kagami tells Lila she will not a puppet. Anyways, it still went as Gabriel wanted, Marinette and Adrien sad and leaving.

S5 Adoration where Nathalie is foiling Gabriel Agreste again. So he takes his frustration out on Lila but she has a plan set up to make things go away.

S5 Revelation despite Lila being the only person who has no reason or anchors as an excuse to oppose him. His best and most loyal acquaintance. He replaces her and makes it seem like she's the problem and calls her nothing. Pretending she'll disappear like Marinette/Ladybug seek.

So she creates a plan to take over Marinette's job of being class rep while offering something that seems impossible but yearned for.

While doing so she runs a way and sets up her plan. Purposely emitting hatred that Monarch can't ignore and tricks him into thinking her hate is directed to Marinette.

As Hoaxer she's distracting and soon without his notice she gets Nathalie to spill all of Gabriel's secrets. She purposely gives up and tricks Monarch to fixated himself against Marinette more than ever (Oof for Collusion and Revolution) . While she's coming for the butterfly and everything else without any knowing.

Confrontation. Makes what Marinette finally achieved. All amount to nothing. And pretty much is part of why their Principal quit.

Collusion based on Chloe being Lila's ears eyes and mouth while making Marinette think Lila is gone. She gets Chloe to use her power against Bustier and then modify the situation on up on Bustier's absence so she'd come back in to see what looks like a student slapped Chloe because Lila is aware of her former peers weaknesses after observing.

Lila uses Bustier's speech towards Chloe against her and causes their teacher to be fired upon Chloe's voice.

Lila exploits Chloe to not hesitates upon her father trying to talk about her demands upon the students cause Chloe thinks they didn't learn not to mess with her.

Lila convinces Chloe to not let anyone tell her what do to.

This is so Lila can go see what Gabi Grassette is planning while using Chloe as her will as words of inspiration to further what he thinks is truly his plan.

Lila also watches Gabriel conversation with Andre and watches Gabi record important parts which Gabriel will make an Alliance Tube Poop.

Lila warns Chloe to take Gabi's offer plan to become mayor due to Andre possibly quitting and her having to answer to problems she was once immune.

And so Chloe becomes the new mayor after Ladybug swings a yoyo at her as probably she was easy to exploit to make it end up seeming Chloe was right and so Ladybug Cat and Monarch are outlaws.

Revolution Lila convinces Chloe to work with Monarch to rid Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Funny thing is. Chloe was gonna be a sacrifice upon Gabriel's and Tomoe's plan anyways. It's just that things went against what they expected cause the people went wild and the two had to run away. And since Chloe is gone and the suitcase was dropped. Lila goes and grabs it while no one is looking. Chloe was just a sacrifice no matter what. I guess a casualty of war and it appears Chloe has no use to their mutual plans against Marinette and the heroes either since she's been dethroned and sent away.

Recreation where Lila is watching Tomoe and Gabriel's plan unfold and prepares herself to bike to the main event of 2 idiots fighting. And thanks to Ladybug being stupid and not immediately getting the butterfly away and stalling and using his wife on him for Adrien. He venoms her when she lets her guard down and gets her to subjugate herself into placing him above Emilie and Adrien instead of Adrien above him and Emilie.

Pretty much wasted time and made it all to easy for Lila and now she finally has Nooroo.

But yeah please compare the girl not connected or have reasons to be against him until Revelation. With someone connected to him and literally could get his mom to be an annoying visitor bringing him along or can be Adrien anytime (which can fool anyone) and is Marinette's main weakness. Oh bonus. Gabriel is usually on to him.

Lila Rossi: *spends 5 seasons scheming and trying to outmaneuver Marinette and Gabriel, only finally actually succeeding after being repeatedly being defeated and being placed in a position to profit off the fallout of Ladybug and Monarch's last fight*

(Aged Up) Five Hargreeves x F!Reader Warnings: NSFW, light mentions of wounds and blood. I wanted to put this out as soon as possible so it has not been fully proof read/edited. This is also like 3,000 words

Summary: Diego causes you to get hurt, much to Five’s displeasure. After taking care of your wounds he decides it’s time to tell you how he feels.

“Ow, ow- Five” you whined as he cleaned up your wound. “Sorry but I wouldn’t have to be doing this if you’d just listened to me” he said matter a factly before dropping the used rag into a metal bowl. “Cannot believe you listened to Diego, out of all people, instead of me and look” he continued as he stood up to throw away the bloody towels. “I thought he was going to be able to pull it off” you managed to let out, guilt and embarrassment starting to fill your chest. “He-” “He is an idiot (Y/N)!” Five snapped, slightly slamming the bowl he had in his hands on the table, “He almost got you killed out there so do not try to defend whatever dumb ass plan he had!”. You’d jumped at the noise, hissing in pain at the sudden movement .

His eyes immediately softened at the sound before letting out a sigh. He shouldn’t be snapping at you like this. Especially when it was neither your fault nor were you the person he was actually upset with. Diego on the other hand better hope this Kugelblitz gets him before Five does. Instead of listening to what Five had said Diego decided to try and be the hero and come up with some bullshit, half thought of plan that you agreed to help with because of whatever reassuring bullshit he told you. Though part of him wanted to be upset over the fact that you believed said bullshit, it never lasted. The weight of you on his lap plus the sniffles you’d kept letting out a constant reminder that you’d gotten more than your fair share of karma. Which is why when Diego even tried speaking in either of your directions he was immediately put behind a wall of siblings and Lila who all knew exactly what Five wanted to do to him for causing you to get hurt. It did help when he heard Lila both physically and verbally digging in on him over how he’d fucked up.

“Sorry” he sighed, looking down and cleaning his hands on a dry towel before walking over to you. “I’m just-… we’ve been dealing with enough shit as it is and the last thing I need is you getting seriously hurt because of my dumb ass brother” he continued as he walked over and sat down on the bed next to you. “I’d probably completely lose it at that point” he admitted, helping you get in a more comfortable position. Five watched you for a second, double checking that you were comfortable before continuing cleaning your wound. It wasn’t that bad, thank goodness. Just a somewhat deep cut on your arm and a few scrapes on your abdomen. But in the moments before he was certain what all was wrong with you, felt like all the hard work he’d been putting in these past weeks had gone to shit and the entire world was ending. “Here let me finish” he mumbled, squeezing the water out of the towel, and taking your arm in his hands gently. You both stayed silent, Five wanting to let his confession sink in but you hadn’t thought much of it. “I’m sorry for not listening to you” you mumbled, looking up at him with a small pout. He returned a crooked smile and let out a quick breath through his nose, “don’t worry about it (Y/N). Just don’t listen to an idiot over me” he chuckled. “Well you seem to think everyone is an idiot compared to you” you countered with a small smile. “Which is precisely why you should always listen to me” he teased and finished cleaning up the wound on your arm before reaching for the gauze and medical tape to wrap you up. “This is gonna hurt so I’ll try to be quick” he warned before going to tighten the wrap he was making. You let out a shaky breath and nodded, closing your eyes in preparation for it.

Five’s heart clenched in pain with you when he heard the whimpers you’d let out.

‘‘Fucking Diego’’ he mumbled to himself as he finished it, gently letting go and setting your arm down. “Okay, now let me just clean up the ones on your abdomen and you’ll be all done” he threw away the excess and then turned back to you expectantly, “you’re going to have to take your, uh, shirt off so I can get to them”. Your eyes went wide as you felt the blood rush to your face, “oh… right” you nodded. In all honesty you didn’t feel extremely confident about that considering you had a bit of a crush on Five, but of course the timing was never right considering the world was ending. Plus you’re pretty sure he didn’t feel the same or was even capable of feeling those feelings. Therefore, this was a very awkward moment, but if you hesitated any more it’d be suspicious.

“O-okay” you sighed shakily and took off your shirt, placing it next to you. At least you had a sports bra on. Your eyes avoided Five’s for a second, which he didn’t mind considering he got lost taking you in. He blinked his eyes to snap out of it, walking over to you, and resting his knee on the bed to steady himself when he leaned over. “Well these don’t look as bad as I thought” he mumbled, softly running his fingers over some of your bruises and wounds, causing you to shiver and giggle. “Does that tickle?” Five smirked at you, fingers still hovering over your skin. “If I say yes are you going to tickle me?” “Maybe a little…” he mumbled, making you whine his name out in protest, and he couldn’t help but lick his lips at it. “Okay, okay I won’t…” his smirk told you otherwise and you were proven right when he tickled you lightly for a few seconds, “okay now I won’t”. “Are you going to clean me up or torture me?” You pouted and he chuckled, nodding his head. “I wouldn’t exactly call it torture but I get the message” he’d started to clean the blood up first before disinfecting it with alcohol and bandaging you up.

Five couldn’t help but continue to drag his eyes all over you as he did. In truth, Five shared the same feelings as you did, but chalked it up to hormones until he hallucinated kissing you. Since then he could barely stand to be without you for too long. His hands kept finding their way onto you in subtle ways. He’d take every opportunity to be as close to you as possible. Hell he was thrilled whenever Klaus asked if you could come on the road trip too.

“Oooo let’s bring (Y/N)!! It’ll be nice having a pretty face to look at while on the road” Klaus clapped happily when Five agreed to join him. “I’ll even leave you guys to spend some time together” he said with a knowing smile. Five glared at him a bit but nodded, “I’m sure she’d prefer that than staying with those idiots”. “Great!” Klaus smiled before going to ask you.

You, on the other hand, were having trouble controlling your breathing as Five continued to touch you. His hands were a bit rough from fighting and his cold fingertips didn’t help with the shivers he was pulling from you. “I’m almost done” he mumbled as he was finishing up bandaging. “Alright you’re all done princess” Five hummed, the nickname slipping from his lips involuntarily. “Princess?” You asked, blushing and Five’s eyes went a bit wide. “Uh, sorry it just kind of slipped” he apologized and went to throw the trash away. “No it’s okay. I like it” you smiled, grabbing his arm before he got up. “I do too” he mumbled, eyes glancing to your lips. Fuck he wanted you. He wanted you to be his princess. To sleep on his chest, while he played with your hair and rubbed your back. He wanted to kiss every inch of your body until you were annoyed and pushing him off.

“Fuck you’re so beautiful, you know that?” He asked as he sat down fully on the bed next to you. It was now or never. “Oh, um, thank you” you mumbled a giant smile gracing your face, “you too”. Oh my gosh why did you say that? Who says that? “Thanks” Five laughed and looked down at your hand. At least he found it funny. “No wonder I can’t stop thinking about you” he said clearly, his eyes moving to look at your shocked and confused ones. “What do you mean?” You asked, your brain unable to comprehend what he was trying to say. He just chuckled at you and shook his head, “I can’t stop thinking about how pretty you looked in that flower dress you had to wear in Dallas, or how beautiful your laugh sounds even your so called ‘ugly one’”. Your face must’ve looked like a stoplight the more he spoke but you couldn’t seem to care much. “I can’t stop thinking about how soft your lips must be” he mumbled as he gripped your chin lightly and ran his thumb over them. “About how you feel pressed against me” he’d slowly started to get closer to you, “and I don’t want to keep acting like I don’t”. You were too stunned to speak for a moment as you looked up at him. “And I’m hoping you feel the same” he added. “I do” you squeaked, finally finding the strength to speak.

As soon as you agreed he crashed his lips against yours. Immediately moaning against them while his hand moved to cup your cheek. Your lips felt even better than in his hallucination. Five had started to lean closer against you, deepening the kiss as he did. You had to pull back after you ran out of breath, but he just kept kissing down your neck. “Mmm Five” you whimpered, tilting your head to the side for him. I really like the progress of Lila and Five's relationship in S3. When they first decide that they'll need to work together in order to figure out what's going on with the commission briefcases fritzing out, Lila points out that they'll need to trust one another. Interestingly, the next thing Five points out DOES gain her trust: he tells her that the Handler killed HER along with everyone else, and it was only his time traveling that saved everyone (I'm choosing to believe the reason Five didn't use this ability this season had to involve either, A) he's still not used to using this ability and is still not sure what consequences there are using it, or B) the writers decided it wouldn't carry things to where they needed them to go if he could just mary sue everything).

Five didn't know Lila already knows this information and I think it made her realize that although they may not always like each other, (as well as the whole murdering her parents thing), Five has NEVER lied to her. He even sees through her new rouse she's pulling with Diego, and calls her on it, while still assuring her that Diego loves her.

After they go to the commission and find the Founder, (another rant, for another day) and discover that FIVE is in fact the founder, her first instinct is to tease him. However, when she realizes how upset he truly is, she immediately becomes concerned and even gives him the privacy he asks of her. Even though Five didn't allow himself to fully break down, he is still more visibly vulnerable in front of Lila than he has been around anyone else at this point. Arguably, she literally sees him at his lowest point.

You'll notice how much more affectionate she becomes with him after both these instances, and he with her. Even before that, when Klaus says he doesn't like her, Five defends her as being "family."

I wonder how their relationship will progress now that everyone (except Allison, I theorize) is now powerless and may not be as tied together as they once were. Will they become closer? Or will the whole family split apart?

Me, having not watched any miraculous for a while: I like salt but I don’t think Alya is usually written as fairly as other salted on characters when she’s never really antagonistic

Me, after watching Risk and seeing that Alya who knows Ladybug is Marinette and that Lila would have had to lie about being Ladybugs BFF still defend Lila and put her foot down with Marinette: I think I’m in need of some sodium ASAP

Marinette stormed away from the cafeteria, her fists tight with frustration. She could almost understand her friends believing that Adrien would be happy away from his father, but not after she herself had told them otherwise. She'd had the excuse of thinking that Adrien had looked so sad in the video due to Lila being there hanging off of him, but the others didn’t have a clue.

No one had apparently seen that sadness but her, someone whose word meant nothing to anyone. Had she not been so focused on the task at hand, she might’ve even sympathized more with Nino and the feeling that he could’ve had if he hadn’t been convinced that he knew Adrien so well.

The feeling that one’s friendship with their best friend wasn’t as mutual as they thought.

“Marinette, wait!”

Hearing Alya’s voice behind her, her body stopped reflexively even though her mind hadn’t wanted to. There was a part of her that hoped for Alya to take back what she’d said; to grab her hand and insist that she trusted her.

She knew it wasn’t happening.

“I get that you like Adrien,” Alya began, “but it’s not cool of you to--”

“Do you have any idea how that feels?”

There was a pause. Marinette turned to look over her shoulder, seeing Alya standing there and staring blankly at her.

“...What?” she asked cluelessly. “How what feels? Adrien leaving?”

Marinette swallowed, tense and reminding herself that this was Alya standing there. She was the one she trusted her identity to and it was delicate ground she was treading on.

However, as she scratched an itch at the back of her neck, she felt only further frustrated on that front. Perhaps, subconsciously, she’d been cutting Alya slack because of the precious secret she’d handed over without any chance of taking it back. She was desperate to maintain a sense of balance in her unstable life, thus making her all the more desperate to not mess things up further.

Maybe it wasn’t even limited to Alya either. She tried so hard to keep her respective partners - in both her civilian and hero life - close to her that she’d do or say anything to keep them there.

She was tired of being the only one.

Turning to face Alya fully, she threw her arms out in exasperation. “No, how it feels when your best friend takes a liar’s side over yours!”

“Are you serious?” Alya put a hand to her forehead. “You’re still on that? I’m telling you, girl, you go completely off the rails when it comes to Adrien, and it’s not fair to take it out on Lila.”

“Is that what you think of me?” Marinette wondered aloud, genuinely hurt. “You think I would lie about what Adrien told me?”

“W...well...” Alya glanced off to the side, not specifically answering but her expression said enough.

“I don’t care about Lila and Adrien! He’s not even into her!” Marinette burst out. “You sent me to go talk to Adrien and that’s when he told me that he didn’t want to go on that trip!”

“But he didn’t tell Nino?” Alya challenged, her look turning to skepticism and perhaps a bit of offense on Nino’s behalf.

Marinette huffed, wanting to point out that Alya was ignoring her own involvement in things and stealing Nino’s comments for her argument, but decided against it. She genuinely had no idea why Adrien would admit something to her and not Nino considering that she wasn’t that close to Adrien - an idle thought that would have to be shelved for later - but in context with everything else, it didn’t matter.

“Then... why did you bother?”

“With what?”

“Trying to get me and Adrien together. You want us to be together, but then I’m too much? You think I’m trying to run his life, but you’re still supporting me with him?” She didn’t say it, but she’d had that problem for a while; it could be immensely confusing being shoved into elevators to get her closer to Adrien, only for Alya to deny her elsewhere. “And besides, you wanted to share your identity with Nino.”

Marinette nearly missed the way Alya stiffened at that, but she didn’t know why, nor why the rest of her comments seemed to be brushed away with a flick of Alya’s hand.

“I'm not getting you.”

“You want Adrien and me to be like you and Nino, don’t you?” Though hesitating for a moment, she preservered. “Then shouldn’t Adrien want to share everything with me?”

Alya opened her mouth, stopped, then shook her head. “You guys aren’t there yet.”

“So you still think I’m lying.”

“I didn’t say that!”

And yet she clearly thought it.

Putting a hand to her forehead, Alya sighed heavily. “I’m just saying that this is going way too far over Lila! She hasn’t done anything to you and just wants to be friends!”

“Alya,” Marinette called--no, begged, really. “Don’t you know what you’re saying?”

She didn’t want to be having this conversation, and it shocked her that they even had to in the first place. She still wanted this all to be some joke where Alya would laugh it all off and help her in the end.

But Alya stood there, arms crossed and entirely rigid in her mindset. Everything Marinette had said had gone in one ear and out the other.

“Lila is a liar,” Marinette stressed. “We’re not friends. We’ve never been friends.”

“She never said--”

“Which means she’s not friends with Ladybug.”

Alya didn’t immediately react to that, time slowing to a crawl as if any lie Lila had ever made about Ladybug had just been completely out of Alya’s mind the whole time. Marinette could imagine mental gears turning as things clicked into place, but the fact that they had to at all hurt. Even her argument with Alya after Lila’s return to the classroom had been about Ladybug, with Alya insisting that the burden of proof fall upon Marinette rather than Lila.

Marinette hadn’t touched her lunch today either, meaning there was nothing to help with the bitter taste slowly forming in her mouth.

She continued anyway, “Lila did do something to me. She set up that whole scheme to get me expelled, and she threatened to take everyone away from me; you, Adrien, my friends...” She turned away and shut her eyes tight at the memory, finding it hard to relive. “She nearly got me akumatized that day when she followed me into the bathroom. Do you know how dangerous that would’ve been? Ladybug akumatized?”

Alya made a sputtering sound, Marinette looking back to see her in a state of complete shock.

“You--” She stepped forward, somewhere between accusatory and baffled. “Why didn’t you tell me? You never said anything!”

For a split second, it seemed like a fair question, and Marinette initially went to respond that she honestly didn’t know, even if all of her previous points were still valid. Technically speaking, it had been Adrien who’d encouraged her not to do anything about Lila, and by then it seemed against his philosophy to tell anyone else about Lila’s threats.

However, when Marinette thought about it more, she realized that she didn’t think about the reasons that she did a lot of things. She accepted her emotions or actions as they were without acknowledging why she was doing them. There’d technically been time to approach or text Alya about Lila before Adrien had shown up, but she’d chosen not to. It wasn’t limited to Lila either, as she’d kept her relationship with Luka a secret from Alya as well as the rest of her friends.

She hadn’t thought about why, and they hadn’t cared to ask.

Marinette’s mouth moved almost unconsciously, admitting, “I didn’t think you’d believe me. I didn’t know how you’d react with everything that was going on, so I didn’t trust you. I didn’t feel safe telling you.”

“What was I supposed to think then?! Best friends should share these things with each other, and--”

“Then maybe we’re not best friends!” Marinette blurted out, facing Alya with a glare.

The statement came as an emotional punch for both of them, though Marinette moreso because she knew deep down that such a thought had come up a few times throughout their friendships and she’d never noticed until now. They’d had arguments and such before, but they’d never truly resolved much of any of them. They just moved on like they didn’t happened; like she hadn’t been hurt or negatively affected by it.

“...You were my first friend,” Marinette admitted quietly, “and I’ll always be grateful for that, but I can’t do this. I kept thinking that you knew what was best for me, but you don’t, and I don’t want other people deciding what’s good for me or not anymore.” Then, after a meaningful pause, she added, “I really did want to give up on Adrien back then, but I kept going because you seemed so sure and kept pushing me into it. All it got me so far is this, where no one believes me because I have a crush. I hate it, and I--”

The itch at the back of her neck grew fiercer. She rubbed at it, finding that it only fueled her anger with the whole thing.

“I... want the fox miraculous back,” she finally said.

“What?!” Alya gaped, her hand flying reflexively to the necklace hidden under her shirt. “No, over this? I--”

“You said I was the guardian and I was in charge. Were you lying?”

“Girl, this whole Adrien thing fried your brain! You’re--”

Marinette held her hand out insistently, her gaze unwavering and firm. Alya stepped back, her other hand going up to cover the necklace as well.

“What am I gonna tell Nino?!”

“...What?”

Alya’s question had already come off as rushed, but even if it hadn’t, Marinette could recognize the face of someone who said something they hadn’t meant to. Her mind raced, then stopped immediately at the obvious conclusion.

“You told him,” she whispered in disbelief. “You asked if I trusted you and you still...”

Alya glared, more at nothing than at Marinette specifically, then shut her eyes tight and took the miraculous off in a hurried motion. “Here, just take it.” She dropped it carelessly into Marinette’s hand. As if she expected it back eventually, she argued, “But I did it for me and Nino. You couldn’t keep your secret identity from me either.”

“...You’re right,” Marinette admitted. Then, looking down at the fox miraculous back in its usual state, she turned away to walk off. “And that was my mistake.”

She carried the necklace held tightly to her chest, her expression entirely devoid of emotion as she walked down the stairs, across the street, and then through the bakery’s side door.

It was only once she’d ascended the stairs and reached the living room that her legs wobbled from all the emotion building up in her chest. Closing the door behind her and bracing herself against it, she let herself silently sink down to the floor.

Tikki, popping her head out of Marinette’s purse, chided in her usual way, “That was dangerous.”

“I know,” Marinette acknowledged, though not sounding as sorry as she thought she would, “but the only thing I can trust Alya to do is to not out me to Shadow Moth.”

Tikki made a noncommittal noise, perhaps agreeing on some level but still not willing to accept the circumstances. “And the fox miraculous? You’re just going to put it back?”

Marinette glanced at the necklace in her hands, then considered it before stashing it away in her purse. “I’ll hang onto it for now. Rena Furtive was a great idea and I want to keep this with me while I try to think about it. I...” She frowned, averting her attention from Tikki to stare up at the ceiling.

“I think I need to think about a lot of my relationships, actually.”

I always said Marinette needed to find better friends (although she can keep Luka, Zoé and Socqueline those three are okay in my book), or at least told her current friends when their mistrust and lack of faith in her are very hurting (they are jut 14 years old after all and sometimes you can hurt a friend without meaning to, it doesn't mean that you czn't become a better friend later though) but unfortunately it seems that Marinette's parents aren't that great either everytime it involves Lila or Chloé.

Sure they are very loving and supportive toward their daughter and give her a lot of freedom, but they never have actively defended Marinette against Chloé's severe bullying or against the school unfair sanctions and accusations.

Marinette may be the most precious and important thing for both Sabine and Tom, yet it seems that it can't fully stop them from hurting and failing their own beloved daughter sometimes. I only dread the possibility that Lila/Cerise/Iris may once again manage to manipulate Sabine and Tom judgement and opinion about Marinette to the point of damaging the good relationship between our heroin and her wo parents T_T.

I'm so glad me and my sisters had the chance to grow up with parents who would never have let us down in a situation similar to that of what Marinette went through, and who are smart enough that they would have never have been fooled by Lila the way Sabine is

There's a scene during Revelation which gave me the goosebumps and made me want to puke at the same time

But seriously ... Do your realize what dreadfull implication Lila's words could mean during that sickening scene ?

She wants to add Sabine in her collections of false mothers

I didn't took this theory about Lila murderong girls to take their place seriously, but after that scene, I'm not do sure anymore.

If this Theory is true in some way or another, then Lila's next target could be Marinette.

And if not, Lila having managed to get close to Sabine enough to hug her and compare her to her mother is already horrifying on its own.

Because it's already infuriating and tragic enough that Marinette's friends (except Zoé, Socqueline and Luka I hope) trust Lila more than they trust Marinette, but can you imagine how horrible it will be if Marinette's parents start to trust Lila more than they trust their own daugther ? Just because Lila bonded with Sabine over painting lessons ?

isn't the idea of Lila endgoal not only being to take all of Marinette's friends from her, but her family as well, truly frightening for our heroin who already went through a lot and will probably gain more trauma the more we get toward the season 5 finale ?

Right now I'm hesitating between wanting Marinette to get away from this unhealthy environment before her loved ones hurt her and dissapoint her further, or wanting everyone to finally discover the truth about Lila and realize how much they hurt Marinette by having more faith and support toward somoene who has bad intentions toward Marinette since the beginning.

to summarize... I FREAKING NEED THE EPISODE CONFRONTATION RIGHT NOW ! I NEED LILA TO BE TAKEN DOWN BY SABRINA
