Not that it’s alignment or anything
But I moved out to this area because the closest city is Couer Dalene (“coor delaine”) which is where my grandpa William lived for like 20 years a long time ago. William Couer-gan. Just kidding, his last name was Winsky. But…Billy Corgan. lol OR Couer - Donna Elaine, my mom’s name, but replacing the c with a p makes it sound like poor Donna Elaine, born in the 60s to blind parents. But anyway Billy Corgan and Kurt Cobain were both born of Spring ‘67. Kurt Cobain’s parents were married in Couer D’alene. Kurt’s dad Donald was a car mechanic just like my mom’s brother. What else am I trying to say. I think I’m related to Kurt. Because Donna is the feminine form of Donald. And also that I found out my real dad is not who I thought all my life but someone named Greg Younger and when you put those two names together they sound like Grunger. So that’s pretty cool. The smashing pumpkins were my favorite though, when Billy had hair. But I never got to know my blind Willie grandfather because he died after he’d moved to Boise…but about the same time or just before Kurt cobain’s parents got married in CDA. I’ve figured out a lot of coincidental alignments between Kurt’s family and I and that we’ve had family who’ve lived in the same places. I used to cry about his death like a little baby and feel his ghost console me.
There’s also the whole
youtube
thing where my mom, with the same maiden initials as Darcy Wretzky, (Donna Winsky), in a band with 1 William, like her dad, and two James’, like the James my mom would marry a year after this interview.
Donna means woman in Italian and I love that because I guess she inspired these things to be going on. Mom was 6 years older than Darcy and apparently Darcy”s middle name is Elizabeth, the English form of my name. I feel like perhaps I was named after her and not Isabella Rossellini like they tried to tell me because Blue Velvet is a sick film and I much prefer only the original Twin Peaks…to go back to this part of the country, and Washington, and Donna and James in twin peaks, and can I please shut up? No because Leland, the psychologically in denial, abusive dad from Twin Peaks was also the name of Kurt Cobain’s grandpa, was also abusive apparently. And was from the same area that they shot Twin Peaks. But back to women in grunge. Or Darcy’s black devil horn costume. Forget it. I guess I could go on forever, but I really want grunge, or at least grunge culture, open heart sensitivity, normalization of intellect, humility and passion in challenging ourselves to sacrifice our time to the dedication of raw, soulfree independent rock to come back. YOU KNOW? I hope grunge comes back both soft and hard, like the dynamics that we can appreciate well with this band that weren’t orchestrated as well with anyone else I really know about and that people tend to skip over in them to seek in shit like My Bloody Valentine, that earporn. Which is fine,
But Not really, because a balance of rough honesty with sweet sensitivity should be praised and repeated in more independent fastens.

what do you mean elon musk did a nazi salute on live tv at the united states presidential inauguration twice and is now erasing the evidence off the internet by replacing the footage with the crowd cheering instead?

dear usamerican high schoolers looking for a way to resist fascism: sit through the pledge of allegiance.
no getting up. no looking at the flag.
everyone will be looking at you. you'll be sweating like a fucking hippopotamus. your teacher will sternly tell you to get up. you'll feel stupid and that maybe its not worth it because you're just a kid in a classroom. but I'm here to remind you that there are no real life consequences to detention. there are however real life consequences to resisting a thoughtless performance of nationalism.

Yo, correct me if I am wrong please, but didn't Hitler rise to power because he promised to fix the German economy and people really liked that so they looked past everything else he was doing??? Like exactly what's happening in America right now???
So many people said they voted for Trump, put a truly evil person in power, because he said he'd fix the economy, and a little voice in my head is going, "Isn't that what happened with fucking Hitler??"
But I've seen no one point that out so maybe I'm miss remembering???????

A reminder to the "the American government wouldn't..." crowd. They have. They have made their own internment camps before. They have rounded up innocent citizens and immigrants before. The victims of which are still alive to this day and trying to share their stories with the world, they have been trying to warn us for a long time. George Takei (as seen above) is a famous example of this. He has written about his experiences time and time again, even publishing a book talking about his time in these camps. He may be famous now, but at the time he was just another kid forced from his home. To this day he still firmly dedicates himself to trying to educate and inform people, trying to spread awareness with his platform. The American Government can and will do terrible things. Do not let anyone convince you otherwise.

Keep your messaging simple:
“Trump fired everyone in charge of airplane safety, and a week later planes started crashing into each other.”
That’s it. That’s the messaging. Don’t get bogged down disputing Trump’s false claims. Just blame him, in short and repeatable sentences.

hope “cheaper eggs and gas” was worth it.
EDIT: i removed the “trump refused to swear on the bible” point because it was being taken as me being an offended christian. i’m not christian, im agnostic. the reason i included it in the first place is because he’s the first president in history to ever refuse to swear on ANYTHING. meanwhile his “conservative christian” followers had no issue with this, and decided to continue to scramble for excuses instead of admitting he may not be as religious as he claims he is. i figured taking that point out entirely is probably better than filling this with an explanation in the middle of the other important issues.
