I brought my cousin to Misha's show yesterday. Until early June, she didn't know anything about him. I shared a couple of videos to introduce him to her, but not much more.

She really enjoyed the show! He's a real entertainer. He has a lot of interesting things to share and he knows how to tell them in a very interesting way.

She recommends his show 😉

i see these types of reactions after every Misha show and as someone who's yet to see it (next month!), i'm curious if it's something that could appeal to a wider audience (say, Netflix) unfamiliar with Misha or if it's still way too personal

You don’t need to know anything about Misha to appreciate and/or be affected by his show.

I guess I could compare it to the likes of Neal Brennan or Hannah Gadsby. Two comedians who wrote more than one very personal show about their lives and were very successful with them - who most people knew little to nothing about before their first shows came out.

So I think it has mass appeal and isn’t just something Misha fans will enjoy/understand/be touched by.

I expected Felicia and Misha to mention Havoc Town and/or Brigdewater. That was safe and official and released two days later (for Havoc Town), it would have been perfect 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wondering where all my Jared trolls are this evening. At today's panel, he (along with everyone else) was asked about what he was working on, and he only mentioned The Boys. (Which, as we all know, is no longer filming.)

Where are my peeps with my daily dose of "JARED HAS THE DOCTOR SHOW AND A DEAL WITH NETFLIX AND MISHA HAS NOTHING?"

Apparently, Misha avoided the question and turned it into a joke (where he sold his shoelaces). Misha not giving any type of answer makes me go hmmmm.....for a completely different reason than Jared going on about The Boys instead of projects his fans keep screaming at me are happening.

My second day at FTLOF

First of all, we tried again to have an autograph with John Rhys Davies (see the first day details for explanation).

That was Try #3.

Try #3 was another fail BUT my cousin received a ticket so she could come back at 11:25 am. When I was supposed to have a photo with Misha. So we thought I could try to have my photo earlier so we wouldn't split.

I don't know what happened. I insisted I didn't have a Diamond Pass. I just wanted to know if I could have my photo earlier than 11:25 am. Let's just say the person I spoke to immediately scanned my ticket, checked my name, then in I could go and 30sec later, I was in front of Misha.

I regret it because it made it all happen way too fast. At least, when you're queueing, the tension builts in and you really appreciate the moment. I did appreciate it, but not at its fullest.

After seeing so many people asking for intricate poses, I realized I didn't want to do that. So I just told Misha "whatever you're comfortable with". It seemed to unsettle him a little bit, but eventually, he went for a big hug (I'm sharing the photo again ❤️).

Just before I left, I thanked him for being him, and I wished him a happy birthday in advance ❤️

Then, by 11:10 am, it was time for Try #4. People were still queueing from the 9:30 am batch 😱

John Rhys Davies was supposed to leave for lunch at noon, but fortunately, he didn't and by 12:30 am, my cousin had her autograph!!!! We had such a nice time with him, I recommend anyone to have a chat with him, he's like a cheeky grandfather: so adorable!

And then, because Craig Parker was still nearby and having the best of times, we decided to have a selfie with him. Best decision ever! He asked for our names, we gave him chocolates, we joked with him, and talked about our past trip in New Zealand.

Then it was time for a break outside, with Nazgulls, hobbits and Castiels lounging among Jehovah's Witnesses wearing their finest suits and gowns as joggers passed by listening to loud techno music, and as planes were flying low and loud above our heads, preparing for landing. (Yes, the scene is real)

We came back for my last photo op: with AlCal. It went smoothly: we were early, we queued just a little, it was perfect. When I met him, I thanked him for everything he did for the Amazon forest. He said he liked my t-shirt. "Even cowboys cry? That's so true." I really enjoyed my interaction with him ❤️

Then we rushed for Supernatural's Q&A. Unfortunately, it was just before the LotR Q&A and most seats were taken by people waiting for the grand finale. I queued as soon as I could to ask a question during the panel but I was already to far, with a very low chance of reaching the microphone.

The panel was fun! Misha sat on Mark, JarPad threw his water on the floor, thinking the lid would hold but our European eco-friendly lids aren't that strong and water splashed on everyone around. Misha had a few small talks aside. Jim and Mark were hilarious! DJ, Felicia and Jake were also on stage, they were cute and nice but it was harder for them to add a word to the conversation 😅

(In case you're wondering: no, I didn't reach the microphone)

Fun story: when the panel ended, they were asked what their coming projects were. When Misha's turn arrived, he twisted the question, re-explaining they were asked what they wanted to sell to the customers in front of them. He said he had a shoelace to sell to the most offering, if someone gave him another shoelace in exchange. Someone offered 10p. Misha untied his shoelace and the deal was done. Then someone else from the crowd went to the stage to give a shoelace. Jim or Mark (I don't remember) reminded that the shoelace was 10p worth. So Misha stood up and gave the 10p coin to the one who him a shoelace.

🤣🤣🤣

When the panel ended, people were moving all around. It was such a mess... BUT I ended sitting on the floor almost in front of the stage for the LotR's panel!!!

That moment was magical... we talk a lot about supernatural's conversations with my mutuals, though I highly recommend to go to conventions with actors that aren't used to any of it. Indeed, they seemed to be as overwhelmed as we were! They enjoyed each second and it was a blast ❤️

And then, the convention ended...

When we got out of the subway, I looked inside the coaches as we went by them (the doors were still open).

Then I froze.

I had recognized Dominic Monaghan in one of them, chatting.

(Yes, I have that superpower)

I didn't think and just shouted "have a nice flight back! And thank you!"

(Yeah, I realized later that he probably lives in London and he was going back home using the subway. But anyway... spur of the moment...)

He turned and thanked us.

And then it was really over 🥺

Our video was cut short by the attendant, but it was an amazing experience and I appreciated how interested he seemed in me and the shirt. Such a genuinely nice guy and I highly recommend meeting him

Btw, the first convention I attend to meet Misha had to be hosted at the same time as a convention of Jehovah's Witnesses.

And then, on the way back to the Airbnb, I had to cross path with groups of far-right masked people flying St George flags on lamp posts.

My first day at FTLOF

After a day and a half of visiting London, my cousin and I were finally ready to meet our faves at For The Love Of Fantasy.

We started the day with a picture with Andy Serkis. He was lovely! I told him he had a fantastic career and that I was so happy for him and he seemed to be really pleased to hear it.

Then my cousin tried to have an pay-on-the-day autograph of John Rhys Davies, but no luck that time. That was Try #1 😅

After lunch, I had an autograph with Felicia Day. She was the cutest! I told her I love Charlie, but before that, I loved her in Buffy. She was my favorite Potential slayer. She told me Buffy really opened a lot of doors for her. She was happy to sign a DVD of Buffy on which she appears in a corner. And I congratulated her on her latest project, Havoc Town. She was pleased to talk about it ❤️

Then, it was Misha's autograph ❤️

I was early but I still had to wait because he had to leave for about 20 minutes. It gave me a lot of time to watch AlCal interact with people. It seems to me he still looks a bit like Misha.

I had so many gifts for Misha... And he confirmed he loved gifts! First: a box of fine chocolates that he started digging into in front of me. He kept half of one between his lips as we spoke, which was very distracting 😅 Then I gave him a wooden reading ring shaped like the batman logo, made by a friend of mine (it's something I never thought I needed until I saw it). He received it with a "it's so cool!". I also gave him a book (by the French Bernie), and a printed version of the collage I made with the lyrics of the song 'Nature Boy' (because it's such a beautiful song and it really makes me think of him).

He seemed pleased with the gifts 😊 We shared one last smiling glance and that was it!

Then, it was Try #2 to get John Rhys Davies' autograph. Another fail: he had to leave when we were about to reach him. But before he left, he came just in front of us to tell us to party and get drunk while he was away. Andy Serkis was doing autographs behind and they had a lovely interaction together when John passed by him.

(For your information, Craig Parker was also behind and he seems to be the coolest guy on Earth. He couldn't stay still, he was always standing on our side of the tables and having profound chats with the fans. So go meet him if you want a fantastic interaction!)

15min later, we had a very important meeting: a photo with Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan. We arrived on time, but we still had to queue for more than an hour, during which I had a glimpse at Kim posing nearby.

And then, we reached our destination and it was so worth it! It was quick but I managed to tell Ian how honored I was to meet him, Elijah that I missed Dirk Gently ("I miss Dirk too") and Billy that he was my favorite ("Of course!" He said in a sassy way 🤣).

(Is it Misha's chair? I know he uses one on his shows and it looks like the one he had tonight 🤔)

The spn Q&As had started when we eventually left, there was no sit left and the sound wasn't good enough to properly understand everything with my French ears so we decided to rest until Misha's show.

Of course, I can't talk about it in details but my cousin and I really enjoyed it. He's just so good on stage. And the venue was full (same place than for the Q&As). And someone was drilling nearby. And there were two birds flying around 🤣.

All in all, it was a very good day! We had lovely chats with fans (lotr or spn) and we can't wait for tomorrow's surprises!!
