5 things that make me happy!

1. writing

as much as I have avoided it (especially before this past week), I truly love to write. I find that it helps me relax and gives me a break from the uncontrollable reality I live in. being able to create my own characters and worlds gives me a sense of security that nothing else has given me. sure, sometimes I get bad writers block or just don't have the mind capacity to write, but even revisiting an old WIP makes me happy as I realize I'm not half bad at this writing thing!

2. reading

if writing doesn't bring me happiness, I can always find comfort in a novel. reading is a big passion of mine, and the simple act of buying a book brightens my mood.

3. the writeblr community

I don't even know where to start. everyone is so nice and welcoming here, it almost feels like I've become a part of a family. it's so nice knowing there's people out there that understand what it's like when working on a WIP or when ocs don't do exactly what you want them to (iykyk). that being said, my inbox is always open if you want to rant about your WIP or anything at all :)

4. music

music has always been a big part of my daily life. listening to music that speaks to my soul gives me goosebumps and I can't help but get hyper fixated on new bands I'm introduced to while at concerts (my current hyper fixation is Not A Toy which has amazing music and I met them last November!)

5. Disney

I'm a big Disney girlie, not gonna lie. I absolutely love Tangled and Rapunzel is my favorite Disney Princess of all time. The lantern scene makes me cry every. single. time.
