 Winter looked up at her brother Alex defiantly. “Why can't I go? You go every week.” She crossed her arms as a frown made its way on her lips. “Because it's not a place you should go.” He replies, grabbing his helmet and keys reaching for the door handle. “Now be a good girl and stay put” he pats her head as she crosses her arms over her chest glaring at him. “I'm 21 you can't tell me what to do anymore.” She grumbled swatting at his hand. “you're my little sister so you're still a child in my eyes. You're not going and that's final.” He smiled at her as he closed the door behind him. 

Three days later winter wakes up and smiles realizing what day it was immediately going to her closet to get ready. She came out sitting her clothes on the bed and going to the bathroom. She walked out the bathroom smelling of cherry blossom and lavender with a towel around her body. “What time is it?” she asked herself looking at her phone. “Shit it's already one?! I need to hurry or else I might not make it!” she grabs her outfit off the bed quickly changing into the flowy white dress and her black leather vest before throwing on her knee high boots. “Do I want the corset or not?” she pondered for a second before deciding to grab it and her bag. “It wouldn't hurt to try, I guess.” she looked at the time once more before running for the door grabbing her keys on the way. 

“Wow” she breathed a shaky breath as she looked at the building from across the street, people overflowing onto the sidewalk, smiles and drinks everywhere. “You can do this winter. You got this. Just don't overthink.” she says to herself as her anxiety and excitement battle inside her. She walked across the street and into the building. She looks around at all the people and lights the smile, never leaving her face. “Winter?” She hears someone say behind her and she quickly turns around finding herself face to face with the one person she hoped not to see, her brother's best friend lucas. “What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here.” he says, stepping closer to her reaching for her hand to lead her back to the door. “I'm not leaving! I just got here plus Alex is out of town so I can do what I want.” she pulls her arm away from his reach crossing them defiantly. “Go home winter.” he replied, glaring at her. “Make me.” She challenged stepping closer to him as their height difference really started to show as she had to look up and he smirked at her attempt to look tough grabbing pulling her closer by the small of her back. “Don't test my patience little girl.” he growled before looking behind her and then back down letting go. “Go in the cage.” She looks at him confused. “What?” “you heard me. Go get in the cage. If you don't cry your pretty little heart out then I will let you stay.” she looks over at the cage and then back at him determination all over her face. “Fine.” She walks away from him and looks for the entrance, eventually finding it and getting in standing in the middle as people turn to look at her.

She feels her breathing start to pick up as did her anxiety. Suddenly after what felt like forever she heard a motorcycle engine rev and she turned towards it seeing Anthony ride in and start driving in circles around the small sphere they were in. she looked out to the crown seeing a few girls telling her to put her arms up. Confused, she does as they said, suddenly feeling Anthony's hand on her waist as he circles her. She blushes at how gentle he is as to not drag her with him while not slowing down at all. About five minutes later he slows down and grips her waist pulling her onto his bike as he drives out of the cage as everyone starts clapping. Once  his bike came to a stop he spoke. “Well well well. Not gonna lie princess, I'm shocked you didn't cry.” she rolls her eyes smiling. “Now I get to stay.” he chuckles softly “yes you do” she seems to think for a second before adding. “I'm pretty sure we both knew I was staying even if I did cry though.” he raises an eyebrow as she continues. “Although, I'm pretty sure we both know what I really want though.” She smiles slightly and traices a finger down his chest. “And what's that princess?” he says, wrapping his arm around her waist more. “You.” she replies in almost a whisper looking up in his eyes. He seems to think about it for a second before looking down and wiping his face with his hand groaning. “You know I can't do that.” She has an almost cocky face and tilts her head. “And here you thought I was the scared one.” he laughs in disbelief and leans in close so close they could both feel the other breathing. “You know what you little brat… fuck it.” he leans in and kisses her as she almost melts and wraps her arms around his neck as he pulls her closer by the waist only pulling away once both of them were panting for air.

The image used in the background of the Gravity Falls logo HAS BEEN FOUND!!

It's located in France!!

I made a thread on Twitter explaining the full story and how I even asked Ian Worrel and Alex Hirsch about it, but lemme run down quickly how it was found and where it is!

After 3 years of searching with some friends on and off, we had no real luck. I've been working on a video about it for a while but decided to try one more time. My friend @trickengf suggested looking at international logos as they may have more of the image available and sure enough...we found logos like the Japanese and Russian GF logo had more visible detail of the image.

From that, Tricken made a remake of the image and used it to find it. He ended up finding the source at about 3AM for me, lol!

My friend Fried Oreos then confirmed the image was old enough to fit the criteria of pre GF pilot, by determining the image was on the Textures website it was sourced from since 2008!

Then, my friend Alex M managed to buy the HD image and we were able to analyze its metadata for more info!

Turns out, the image, called "LandscapeMountains0009," was taken by a Nikon D70 camera on April 18, 2007!

THE GRAVITY FALLS LOGO IMAGE IS ALMOST 18 YEARS OLD!!

From there, we began looking for the location. The meta data had no location, but other images taken around the same time showed signs of maybe the location being in Europe.

After over a day of searching, Tricken, Alex M and Oreos FOUND IT!!

The location of the image is a mountain range near the town of Sers, France...near the border with Spain.

Exact coordinates of the closest viewable angle of the image is 42°54'23.2"N 0°06'05.6"E

This is a major discovery and one I cannot believe we did. While this search was started by me in 2021 with some friends, it was TrickenGF, Alex M and Fried Oreos who deserve all the credit for this discovery! They were the geniuses who tracked all of this down and were able to connect the dots to get to this point.

You guys are amazing and I am beyond grateful for all of this.

Finding this image means that fans can now recreate the Gravity Falls logo as they want with anything they want. For example, Tricken made this for me using the image :D

For 12 years as we looked at the Gravity Falls logo...we were in reality looking at a mountain in France...NOT Oregon!

So, I guess this is a major W for France but sorry, Pacific Northwest, Gravity Falls is actually French, lol!
